The effects of preterm birth, neonatal morbidities and environmental influences on infant sleep development is an important yet under-researched topic, with little known about normative sleep for infants born sick or preterm. The aim of this prospective, observational longitudinal study was to evaluate maternal perceptions and degree of bother with infant sleep behaviours and feeding outcomes across the first 9 months after discharge for sick/preterm infants cared for in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and for healthy term-born infants. Sixteen hundred and sixty mixed-sex pigs (DNA Genetics, Columbus, NE) were tagged with radio frequency identification tags (LeeO, Prairie Systems, Spencer, IA) at birth with litter information and body weight (BW) measured at birth, weaning, and the end of the nursery phase. At a starting BW of 73.5 ± 2.2 kg, pigs were blocked by BW to 140 pens and assigned to a 2:3:1 factorial. The seven tre

The garden is computer mapped and an accessioning system is in place. Theme garden developments include daylilies, herbs, a rock garden, a xeriscape, plants for shade, wetland, and bog conditions, a line of vines, an Asian Valley, conifers and hollies, and numerous gardens that trial and display herbaceous perennials. Recent developments include a children's garden and, the biggest project to date, an 8-acre SFA Rub

Across its range, the suitability of colony sites for Petrogale xanthopus has been linked to topographic complexity which has been postulated to provide refuges from temperature extremes and/or predators. This study examined the use of shelter sites by a colony of P. xanthopus in central-western Queensland. Log-linear analysis of seasonal observational data suggests that adult P. xanthopus do not make extensive use of higher quality shade sites (e.g., caves and crevasses). P. xanthopus were found to utilise tree shade to a greater extent than any other shade category in all seasons, though adu
