Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to explore the concept of revitalizing the coastal tourism area with a sustainable tourism approach. Ocarina area is one of the tourist destinations in Batam city. Its strategic location is right in the center of Batam and is surrounded by several areas with different functions, among others there are housing (housing Regata, housing Monde Residence, housing Avante, Monde Signature housing, etc.), a school (Mondial school), a commercial area ( Pasir Putih shops, Mahkota Raya shops) and also the location of Ocarina area is close to the international ferry. The phenomenon that occurs in this tourist area has long been built and managed but has decreased visitors so that needs to be revitalized by using the concept of sustainable tourism. This strategic location is not accompanied by the success of the development of the Ocarina area as a public space that offers a variety of game facilities and culinary venues. The phenomenon that makes the need for revitalizing measures both physically and economically to make the Ocarina area can attract visitors to come and enjoy the facilities that are in it. The research method was a qualitative method of direct observation in the field. Analysis process is conducted to identify the problems that exist in the field today especially in the area of Ocarina Phase 1 so that the area of Ocarina Phase 2 can make Ocarina Phase 1 to be revitalized area and can be one of the sustainable tourism Batam city that can improve the economy of Batam city. Abstract:
In order to investigate whether the ocarina has an improvement effect on the emotional perception ability and hand fine motor ability of children with autism, this study used the ocarina music training to conduct a two-week case study on three children with autism, and the following conclusions were obtained through the observation method of follow-up measurements: practicing the ocarina can improve the ability of children with autism to manipulate hand fine motor ability and can reduce the unstable emotions of patients, but due to the training time was short, and it was not possible to judge whether there was an improvement in emotional perception ability.

Abstract:
Pantai Ocarina merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata di pulau Batam, dimana lokasi nya yang sangat strategis dekat dengan pelabuhan internasional dan mudah untuk dicapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan nilai ekonomi wisata dan mengidentifikasi faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan pengunjung. Metode biaya perjalanan (Travel Cost Method) dipilih untuk mengestimasikan potensi ekonomi dipantai Ocarina, data diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Setelah didapatkan data yang diperlukan maka akan dilakukan perhitungan potensi ekonomi dimana hasil tersebut akan dijadikan standar penentuan nilai Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Hasil regresi yang didapat dalam penelitian ini adalah LnY = -122.52 + 4.59 LnX1 + 8.42 LnX2 – 4.83 LnX3. Potensi ekonomi yang dihasilkan oleh pantai Ocarina adalah sebesar Rp 14.959.123.940 dimana potensi ekonomi ini akan dijadikan standar dalam penentuan CSR bagi seluruh pelaku industri dipulau Batam yang berlokasi dikecamatan Batam Kota, Batu Aji, Bengkong, Sagulung, dan Sekupang. Jika dilihat dari sisi per individu maka biaya yang ditanggung oleh masing – masing individual adalah sebesar Rp 110.067 – Rp 220.567.

Ocarina, created in 2008 for the iPhone, is one of the first musical artifacts in the age of pervasive, app-based mobile computing. It presents a flute-like physical interaction using microphone input, multi-touch, and accelerometers—and a social dimension that allows users to listen in to each other around the world. This article chronicles Smule's Ocarina as a mobile musical experiment for the masses, examining in depth its design, aesthetics, physical interaction, and social interaction, as well as documenting its inextricable relationship with the rise of mobile computing as catalyzed by mobile devices such as the iPhone.

Abstract:
This article argues that the music of opening peritexts within two The Legend of Zelda games reflects their reception history and continuity within the series mythology. On the one hand, “The Legendary Hero” peritext of The Wind Waker mirrors the game's reception history as one of departure from a Zelda tradition established by Ocarina of Time, which caused controversy initially yet gained acceptance in the long term. The audiovisual components of “The Legendary Hero” all position gamers to consider the events of Ocarina of Time as old, submerged under the Great Sea. Textual references to “legend” and “myth,” visual cues of antique art and runes, and musical cues harkening to medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque tropes within Western music—all these serve to depart from Zelda tropes. On the other hand, the title-screen peritext of Twilight Princess restores the legacy of Ocarina of Time. Reception of the former always includes its nostalgic, intimately connected relationship to the latter. Consequently, Twilight Princess garnered immediate praise but became problematic in the long term. The audiovisual components of the title-screen peritext position gamers to reestablish continuity with Zelda tropes. Visual and musical cues reach across several previous games and as far back as the original The Legend of Zelda game, all of which orient players back to traditions from which the franchise had departed for years. Thus the music of the peritext enables players to engage in Zelda's potential for self-reference more apparently than its adoption of Western-music tropes, as in Wind Waker. The peritexts of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess complement each other and allow us to understand more critically the reception and historiography of each game, how the music can reveal a deeper understanding of narrative themes characteristic of each game, and their placement within the Zelda mythology.

Kota Batam dijuluki sebagai kota pintu masuk Indonesia karena berdekatan dengan negara Malaysia dan singapura. Akses yang mudah menuju negara tetangga menyebabkan Kota Batam sering menjadi Kota yang sering dikunjungi wisatawan asing. Berkembangnya sektor pariwisata diimbangi dengan berkembangnya teknologi digital. Destinasi wisata di Kota Batam juga semakin melakukan inovasi dengan mengikuti kecanggihan teknologi digital seperti ragam pelayanan berbasis digital yang ditawarkan kepada wisatawan. Hal ini menyebabkan Masyarakat cenderung menggunakan media sosial untuk melakukan riset tempat wisata salah satunya menggunakan Instagram. Sadar dengan pesatnya perkembangan internet dan kuatnya media sosial terutama Instagram dalam menyebarkan informasi kepada masyarakat Kota Batam, Indonesia maupun mancanegara. Wisata ocarina di promosikan melalui media sosial Instagram yang diberi nama @New.ocarina. Namun berdasarkan unggahan yang diposting di instagram pantai ocarina, rata-rata pengguna Instagram tidak lebih dari 100 suka dengan tayangan pengguna rata-rata 2.832 kali diputar. Kontradiksi dalam kasus tersebut membuat peneliti untuk melakukan identifikasi apakah benar atau tidak media sosial Instagram memiliki pengaruh terhadap keputusan pengunjung untuk berwisata. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif dengan jenis data penelitian kuantitatif dengan menjabarkan variabel yang didukung dengan data yang dihasilkan berdasarkan hasil di lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang didapatkan dalam pembahasan bab sebelumnya, maka peneliti menarik beberapa kesimpulan sebagai berikut: H0 = Ditolak karena tidak sesuai dengan hasil penelitian; H1 = Diterima karena Ada pengaruh media sosial Instagram terhadap keputusan pengunjung. Dengan hasil Persamaan regresi linier sederhana yang didapatkan yaitu Y=38,949 – 0,068X. Media sosial Instagram @New.Ocarina tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan pengunjung di Mega wisata ocarina di Kota Batam dilihat dari hasil uji t dengan t table = 1,987 dengan t hitung -0,818. Nilai signifikan sebesar 0,416 lebih besar dari 0,05. Instagram hanya berpengaruh 0,8% dalam keputusan pengunjung, sisanya 99,2% keputusan pengunjung dipengaruhi oleh hal lain diluar penelitian ini.

Com base nas contribuições da Nova História, os jogos eletrônicos são apresentados enquanto recursos psicopedagógicos por representarem situações-problema na compreensão dos conteúdos de forma contextualizada, crítica e globalizante propiciando uma formação para o sujeito histórico, não apenas conteudista e essencialmente conceitual. O trabalho contempla uma pesquisa de cunho qualitativo, focada na análise do jogo The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of the time. A abordagem enfoca a análise do conteúdo imagético do game a partir de pressupostos da semiótica, análise do discurso e da relação entre História e Literatura. Com isso, busca apresentar elementos do imaginário medieval presentes no jogo eletrônico que possam ser utilizados na transposição didática do conhecimento histórico referente a esse período nas aulas de História. O estudo mostra que os games podem contribuir para uma intervenção psicopedagógica na abordagem sobre medievalismo no Ensino Fundamental. O jogo The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of the time evidenciou elementos que aproximam o aluno do medievo: um contexto histórico distante da contemporaneidade. Com isso, representa um importante mecanismo para o ensino de história mediando a relação ensino-aprendizagem numa perspectiva significativa e problematizante.

Ocarina Batam located at Jalan Gajah Mada, Bengkong Sadai, Batam City, is a recreational destination which has not been developed and is degradated in a long time so as this region is needed to be revitalize as an effort to an urban development that has potential in terms of social, economic, and existing concepts to attracts local and international citizen. This project is made to establish Entertainment Hub that compiles various amusement designed with the use of technology. Programs in this project provide public spaces in the outdoor-indoor part of the entertainment center as a place to gather and interact with each other through the available space. Through the urban acupuncture method by analyzing the potential, demographics, needs and shortcomings that characterize the area. Design approch is using contextual contrast approach, where as the approach attain new form that align with urban acupuncture (known as Contrast). Building development plan in this project will be design with new appearance, however still supports current surroundings. Background: My personal journey to developing fluency in Spanish was through gaming, and so I felt strongly that this popular pastime would help my students, too. Ocarina of Time was a natural choice, as it is not only my favorite game, it is also dialogue-heavy and mimics real life speech, so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to play it with my students! Aim: My main objective was to improve students’ Spanish reading comprehension. Other objectives included: developing an understanding of the difference between equivalent and literal translation, developing a more comprehensive understanding of Spanish sentence structure, learning the 100 most used Spanish verbs, and being able to understand perfect verbs and object pronouns when encountered in text. Methods: Engaging learners through play, student collaboration, ungraded practice, semantic and syntactic reading comprehension, spiraling curriculum, and gamification of rote memorization. Results: Students’ Spanish reading comprehension improved rapidly, and so did their confidence in performing this skill. Students also learned 90%+ of the 100 top used Spanish verbs, as well as a large variety of other vocabulary. Conclusion: Video games are a viable resource for teaching a foreign language.

AbstractThis work explores the following applications of graph theory to plasma chemical reaction engineering: assembly of a weighted directional graph with the key addition of reaction nodes, from a published set of reaction data for air; graph visualisation for probing the reaction network for potentially useful or problematic reaction pathways; running Dijkstra’s algorithm between all species nodes; further analysis of the graph for useful engineering information such as which conditions, reactions, or species could be enhanced or supressed to favour particular outcomes, e.g. targeted chemical formation. The use of reaction-nodes combined with derived parameters allowed large amounts of key information regarding the plasma chemical reaction network to be assessed simultaneously using a leading open source graph visualisation software (Gephi). A connectivity matrix of Dijkstra’s algorithm between each two species gave a measure of the relative potential of species to be created and destroyed under specific conditions. Further investigation into using the graph for key reaction engineering information led to the development of a graph analysis algorithm to quantify demand for conditions for targeted chemical formation: Optimal Condition Approaching via Reaction-In-Network Analysis (OCARINA). Predictions given by running OCARINA display significant similarities to a well-known electric field strength regime for optimal ozone production in air. Time dependent 0D simulations also showed preferential formation for O· and O3 using the respective conditions generated by the algorithm. These applications of graph theory to plasma chemical reaction engineering show potential in identifying promising simulations and experiments to devote resources.

Analisando os arranjos narrativos das produções midiáticas atuais, é possível perceber que os mitos ainda se constituem como parte essencial de sua diegese e do imaginário coletivo. Partindo disso, esse artigo busca compreender como se dão a utilização de estruturas míticas na construção da narrativa e do universo do jogo The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Através de uma análise exploratória da estrutura diegética do jogo, foi possível concluir que a franquia agrega estruturas míticas referentes à criação do Universo e à Jornada do Herói para criar sua própria mitologia, atualizando e perpetuando conceitos culturais e arquetípicos presentes no domínio do simbólico.

Abstract:
This article presents evidence for the shifting economic networks and cultural relationships between the Jovel Valley of highland Chiapas, and the Gulf Coast lowlands. In particular, we examine material culture of Gulf Coast origin or influence at the hilltop monumental centre of Moxviquil during the Late Classic (ad 600–900) and Early Postclassic (ad 900–1250) periods. These artifacts include a fine orange cylindrical pedestal vase, two examples of ‘portable sculpture’, two anthropomorphic incense burner lids and a whistle (ocarina) in the shape of a kneeling woman. The patterns of curation and disposal of these objects at Moxviquil suggests differences in the way that Gulf Coast-referencing objects were incorporated into social memory and ritual behaviour.

This article compares two eminent programmers, Shigeru Miyamoto and Hayao Miyazaki, and their respective works, the video game The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time and the film Princess Mononoke. It discusses their creativity in the context of their above-average access and opportunity to metacognitive skill development, ideation, production, and influence in relation to methods recommended in the research on creativity and genius. This article also looks at how their individual creativity was nurtured by family and scholarship, influenced by birth order and parental relationships, and enhanced by their geographic location and work place. The article concludes that all of these factors combined to allow Miyamoto and Miyazaki to reach legendary levels of creativity, with remarkable similarity to one another.

AbstractThe present paper describes a new type of floating platform that was specifically designed for estimating air–sea fluxes, investigating turbulence characteristics in the atmospheric surface boundary layer, and studying wind–wave interactions. With its design, it can be deployed in the open ocean or in shallow-water areas. The system is designed to be used from a research vessel. It can operate for ~10 h as a drifting wave rider and 3 h under power. Turbulence and meteorological instrument packages are placed at a low altitude (1–1.5 m). It was deployed for validation purposes during the Front de Marée, Variabilité (FROMVAR), 2011 experiment off the west coast of Brittany, France. Wind friction velocity and surface turbulent buoyancy flux were estimated using eddy covariance, spectral, bulk, and profile methods. The comparisons of the four methods show a reasonable agreement except for the spectral buoyancy flux. This suggests that the platform design is correct. Also, the wind measured at a fixed height above the sea shows spectral coherence with wave heights, such that wind and swell are in phase, with the largest wind values on top of swell crests. This result in qualitative agreement with current model predictions supports the capability of the Ocean Coupled to Atmosphere, Research at the Interface with a Novel Autonomous platform (OCARINA) to investigate wind–swell interactions.

Bagi masyarakat pesisir dan kepulauan di Kota Batam, perubahan pasang surut laut sangat mempengaruhi mobilitas masyarakat dalam beraktivitas. Keterbatasan informasi dan montoring pasang surut sering mengakibatkan ketidaksiapan masyarakat yang hidup diperairan. Alat ini dirancang untuk memonitoring pasang surut air laut secara realtime berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Data informasi pasang surut air laut dapat diakses oleh pengunjung tempat wisata secara online dengan cara mengakses server www.Thingspeak.com. Sensor yang digunakan dalam deteksi pasang surut adalah sensor ultrasonic yang terhubung ke ESP8266. Metode pengujian yang digunakan adalah alat monitoring dipasangkan pada Dermaga dengan posisi sensor ultrasonik nya tegak lurus terhadap permukaan air laut. Pengambilan data dilakukan di 3 tempat wisata berbeda yaitu Pantai Bale-Bale Nongsa, Ocarina dan Barelang. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat ini dapat memonitoring ketinggian permukaan air laut secara online dan dapat bekerja secara real-time yang dapat dimonitor melalui smartphone menggunakan aplikasi Thingview ataupun melalui website Thingspeak.

Water availability is one of the main limitations of potato yields due to the high sensitivity of this crop to water deficit. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of water deficit on some physiological and biochemical responses in yellow diploid potato plants (Solanum tuberosum L. Group Phureja) of the cultivars Criolla Colombia, Criolla Dorada and Criolla Ocarina. Plants at tuber initiation were subjected to two treatments: continuous irrigation and water deficit imposed by withholding water at tuber initiation for 17 d. The results showed that plants under water deficit increased chlorophyll concentration, malondialdehyde and proline content. However, these plants showed a decrease in stomatal conductance, leafarea, total dry mass and exhibited a higher root/shoot ratio in all potato cultivars. In addition, all the cultivars also showed a decrease in yield, which was associated with sensitivity to water stress. Although the high content of proline and high root/shoot ratio may be associated with tolerance to water deficit, this association was not observed in these cultivars, probably due to the high reduction of stomatal conductance, which limited the production of photoassimilates, plant growth, and,therefore, the yield.

Abstract: The notion of ‘newness’ is a tenacious apparition possessing discourses of new media art. Artistic explorations engaged with technology in Singapore tend to be perceived in discontinuous fragments, imbuing such practices with an apparent ahistoricity. This essay seeks to disturb this amnesia beneath which Singapore new media art histories appear to rest. By drawing upon Jussi Parikka’s elucidation of media archaeology, two early instances of internet art by Singaporean artists will be analysed: Ocarina (1994), a digital art object housed within the virtual Lin Hsin Hsin Art Museum, and the internet performance/installation presented at Documenta11, alpha 3.4 (2002), by collective tsunamii.net (artists Charles Lim Yi Yong, Woon Tien Wei, and scientist Melvin Phua). These works, bracketing the period of the mid-1990s to early-2000s, are examined in relation to existing discussions of internet art in art history, as well as discourses of technology inflected by Singapore’s attempts to build and consolidate internet infrastructures through masterplans and initiatives. This essay thus gestures towards the complications and contrivances in thinking about Singapore’s new media art as a discursive entity, which is interwoven with regional historiographies of art and technology, and a project intrinsically related to questions of modernity and contemporaneity.

Di Indonesia sendiri pandemi ini membuat berbagai sektor terbengkalai dan membuat masyarakat kehilangan mata pencahariannya. Daerah yang paling merasakan dampak ini yaitu daerah yang menjadi destinasi wisata atau daerah yang sering menjadi persinggahan turis mancanegara, salah satunya Batam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan rancangan pusat UMKM kreatif di Batam dengan penekanan integrasi wisata dan edukasi yang dapat menjadi sarana pengembangan dan pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal. Pusat UMKM kreatif di Batam dirancang dengan menganalisa data dari berbagai kondisi yang ada. Data yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini yaitu data lokasi, iklim, pancaindra, sirkulasi kawasan dan site, potensi site, dan juga permasalahan site. Hasil dari analisa data tersebut dipadukan dengan peratutan-peraturan dan juga kaidah-kaidah arsitektur yang berlaku. Pusat UMKM kreatif dirancang dengan mengusung konsep third place agar dapat dikunjungi oleh siapapun tanpa membeda-bedakan kelompok tertentu. Hasil rancangan pusat UMKM berlokasi di Jalan Engku Putri Utara dan berada di antara Mal Pelayanan Publik, Pelabuhan Ferry Batam Centre, dan Mega Mal Batam Centre, sehingga membuat kawasan ini ramai dikunjungi masyarakat maupun wisatawan. Gedung pusat UMKM kreatif terdiri dari beberapa segmen gedung dalam satu atap dan di bagian tengahnya terdapat area terbuka hijau. Segmen-segmen tersebut terdiri dari berbagai macam ruangan sesuai dengan fungsinya. Di sisi utara gedung dibuat area terbuka hijau yang langsung menghadap Laut Ocarina agar konsep third place lebih terasa.

Ocrelizumab is the first anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody approved for the treatment of relapsing and primary progressive multiple sclerosis. Ocrelizumab is administered intravenously (i.v.) at a dose of 600 mg every six months. It is a highly effective drug strongly inhibiting inflammatory changes in the central nervous system, which nearly completely prevents the development of new active magnetic resonance imaging lesions and clinical relapses. Pharmacokinetic studies and data from post hoc analyses of ocrelizumab pivotal studies suggest that a higher dose than the current dose level might have a stronger therapeutic impact. These results revealed that higher ocrelizumab exposure dependent on lower body mass correlated with increased B cell depletion and reduced risk of disability progression independent of relapse activity (PIRA). In addition, higher ocrelizumab exposure showed a correlation with decreased development of new and enlarging T2 magnetic resonance imaging lesions. Two randomised studies are currently under way to compare the efficacy and safety of the standard i.v. dose of 600 mg versus higher doses (1,200 mg or 1,800 mg) in multiple sclerosis patients. Another new direction in the development of ocrelizumab therapy in multiple sclerosis is subcutaneous (s.c.) drug administration. Recent data from the OCARINA study revealed that s.c. ocrelizumab was not inferior to the i.v. administration with respect to pharmacokinetics, magnetic resonance imaging activity, and clinical relapses. The safety of s.c. ocrelizumab was found to be comparable to the i.v. form, with a higher rate of mild local injection reactions.

The question posed in the title of this article stems from the widespread belief that on account of his work in collecting folk melodies for his Rukoveti (Rukoveti; Garlands), Stevan St. Mokranjac (Stevan St. Mokranjac) gained a place among Serbian ethnomusicologists; since ethnomusicology is still a young field in Serbia, the author puts even more emphasis on that belief by asking whether Mokranjac was Serbia's first "real" ethnomusicologist. After establishing clear criteria that define an ethnomusicologist as a scholar, including, above all, fieldwork, transcription, analysis, etc., and studying Mokranjac as well as other cultural workers (Vuk St. Karadžić and Vladimir Karić), as well as Mokranjac's successors (Vladimir Đorđević, Miloje Milojević, Miodrag A. Vasiljević, and D. Dević), the article concludes that the first Serbian ethnomusicologist was in fact Dr. Dragoslav Dević (Dragoslav Dević). This ethnomusicologist and long-time professor at the Music Academy (today the Faculty of Music) in Belgrade is a true example of a scholar-ethnomusicologist who engaged in multiple activities that, in addition to those mentioned above, also included the tonometry of the folk-music material he collected, as well as something that his predecessors lacked - paying due attention to the living context of that music, especially the rituals and customs. Furthermore, Dević paid ample attention to traditional music instruments, shedding light on many of them from the aspect of their main features and thus leaving valuable recordings of their existence and function in Serbian traditional music practice (works on the bagpipes, ocarina, cevara (cevara), rikalo (rikalo, shepherds' trumpet), as well as on various instrumental ensembles).

Colombia es uno de los mayores productores, consumidores y exportadores de papas diploides. Se evaluó el efecto de diferentes fuentes y dosis de fertilización sobre el crecimiento de papa Criolla Colombia y Ocarina. La semilla agronómica se plantó en surcos a 0,5 cm de profundidad y 0,3 m x 1,0 m de distancia (33.333 plantas·ha-1). Los tratamientos fueron la combinación de variedad y fertilizante [15-15-15 (FQA); urea, fosfato diamónico y cloruro de potasio, previo análisis de suelo (FQ); fertilizante orgánico mineral (FOM) y la mezcla de 50 % de los fertilizantes individuales]. Se realizó un muestreo de tres plantas por tratamiento en cada fase fenológica para determinar: desarrollo fenológico (DF), área foliar (AF), peso foliar específico (PFE) y las tasas: asimilación neta (TAN), relativa de crecimiento (TRC) y crecimiento del cultivo (TCC). Se usó un diseño de bloques completos al azar con medidas repetidas y arreglo factorial 2x7, de cuatro repeticiones y 60 m2 como unidad experimental, y tres plantas como parcela efectiva. La fertilización sólo afectó DF y AF, con la mayor AF para FQA (115 días después de siembra- dds). TAN, TRC y TCC fue mayor para la variedad Colombia. La reducción de TAN y TRC (110 a 115 dds) coincidió con la floración, y el incremento de TCC y AF (115 dds) con la tuberización. La fertilización sólo afectó el DF y el AF, indistintamente de la variedad. FQA+FQ favoreció el mayor DF y FQA la mayor AF. La variedad Criolla Colombia fue precoz y destacó en crecimiento.

One of them is the Old village of Tiangwangkang which is in the Tembesi Village, Sagulung District. old village of Tiangwangkang has the potential to become a tourist village because it has a strategic area, which is close to the beach and also close to the Barelang Bridge. However, there are several problems in the area such as road problems, street lighting, and also several other public facilities to support the accessibility of the community and tourists later. Therefore, it is necessary to develop infrastructure and also arrange it so that the village is worthy of being a tourist village. This research uses a descriptive method as well as a potential analysis to see the potential of this region. Old village of Tiangwangkang has the potential to become a tourist village because it has local wisdom that is still maintained and has beautiful views. Statement of the problem. Among the many trends in the creative search in music of the XX–XXI centuries, one of the leading ones is the appeal to the ideas and models of the past. This has led to the revival of previous centuries musical genres. The accuracy of a genre’s reproduction is determined by its constituent elements, such as musical themes, harmony, form structure, etc. Orchestration plays an important role in this process, as it forms a timbre-textural complex that has structural, organisational and semantic functions in musical work. The considered piece, Z. Almash’si Concerto Grosso No. 4 “Seasons” for violin and orchestra, is an example of the use of the early genre in contemporary music. Despite the genre classification mentioned in the title, the composition has its own unique features that indicate a free interpretation of the genre model. In this regard, it seems necessary to to identify the features characteristic of the concerto grosso genre. Among them, orchestration can be considered the key one. Objectives, methods, and novelty of the research. The existing scientific sources do not pay enough attention to the orchestration in «Seasons» by Z. Almashi, as wee as its role in the reproduction of the genre, which determines the scientific novelty of this study. The purpose of the article is to identify the orchestration features attributable to concerto grosso in Z. Almasy’s work and to determine the specific principles of the structure of the orchestral texture. The study uses: the historical-typological method – to understand the contextual and socio-cultural belonging of Z. Almashi’s piece, the genre method – to reveal its typological and individual features with a projection on the orchestration, the stylistic method – to determine the artistic and aesthetic, linguistic and technological properties, a structural and functional method – to disclose the peculiarities of the organization of an orchestral texture. Recent research and publications. The work is based on sources devoted to the relationship of genre and orchestration (Korobetska, 2011; 2013), the use of contemporary composers with genre models of early music (Tukova, 2003), the formation and development of the instrumental concerto (Rakochi, 2021), to the orchestral style of Baroque composers (Borodavkin, 1998), orchestration as a component of compositional technique (Savchenko, 2021), and to the definition of the position of timbre and texture in orchestration (Kashyrtsev, 2021; Klebanov, 2019). Research results and conclusion. The analysis revealed those features in the orchestration that correspond to the genre of concerto grosso. First of all, it is the availability of two instrumental groups with different orchestral functions. The first ‘concertino’ group includes the principale violin, ocarina, flute, clarinet in B and piano; the second ‘ripieno’ group includes the string orchestra. Nevertheless, instruments from the first group (primarily woodwinds and piano) can be combined with stringed instruments in accompaniment of solo violin. When these groups of instruments interact, there is a juxtaposition of timbres, volumes and sound densities. Also, the contrast is enhanced due to the virtuosity of the parts in the ‘concertino’ group. This creates dialogue and competition, which necessary for the realization of the genre. A variety of orchestration techniques, among which are timbre mixtures, duplication, re-colouring, swinging, and sound painting, embodies the concerto principle. They form a timbre dramaturgy, which is essential for actualising the concert genre and the program title of the piece.

Na Pré-História, diversos artefatos recuperados pela Arqueologia evidenciam o uso de vários instrumentos musicais, como as ocarinas e flautas de pan em osso. A documentação etno-histórica colonial no continente americano igualmente relata as diversas práticas culturais associadas à música, a exemplo de danças rituais e matrimônio. Este artigo examina em quais contextos sociais a música esteve presente na documentação colonial escrita por padres europeus sobre os Tupinambá da ilha do Maranhão, Brasil, bem como identificar estes instrumentos. This study presents a new wireless measurement system for outdoor fire experiments based on an OCARI wireless sensor network (WSN). The open-source radio communication OCARI stack (‘Open Communication Protocol for Ad Hoc Reliable Industrial Instrumentation’) allows to overcome the limitations of the previous wireless solutions for fire measurements, especially those based on proprietary systems, such as Zigbee, wherein users cannot control energy consumption and timestamping. This paper presents the design of an Atmel/ARM-based platform compatible with the wireless OCARI stack, adapted to record and communicate data from heat transducers—namely, a K-type thermocouple and heat fluxmeter. A 5-node WSN using heat sensors faces a 10 m 2 natural fire of excelsior (pine wood) in outdoor conditions. Measurements from the OCARI-WSN were compared with the same measurements simultaneously recorded on a datalogger, a standard wired solution in fire science. Thus, six fire experiments were performed for different fuel loads, and the incident heat radiation varies with the fire size under variable wind conditions. The technological breakdown of timestamping identified in previous low-energy consumption and low-cost wireless systems is overcome by the present solution.

Este artigo tem por objeto a análise das experiências de professoras/orientadoras de aprendizagem no âmbito do Telensino, na década de 1990, no município de Ocara. Referida escrita é parte de uma pesquisa mais ampla, que se estruturou por meio de uma metodologia qualitativa, de cunho analítico, fundamentada em fontes documentais, como as legislações educacionais vigentes no período do estudo, planos educacionais do município de Ocara e em produções acadêmicas referentes ao sistema de ensino que utilizava a televisão como principal ferramenta de transmissão do conhecimento, visando cumprir a obrigatoriedade de universalizar o então ensino de 1º grau, no estado do Ceará. Além das fontes documentais, foram realizadas entrevistas com quatro professoras que atuaram como orientadoras de aprendizagem nesse período. Neste sentido, foram utilizadas as narrativas docentes como opção metodológica, com intuito de obter informações sobre o Sistema de Telensino na década de 1990, no munícipio de Ocara. A partir de suas reminiscências, foram abordados os reflexos da “Universalização”, o papel e a atuação do Orientador de Aprendizagem, as dificuldades e os desafios enfrentados pelas docentes no contexto do Telensino para que os estudantes ocarenses pudessem continuar à educação escolar após a conclusão da 4ª série.

O presente artigo objetiva apresentar contribuições e reflexões sobre a dança circular como promotora de qualidade de vida, com base nos participantes do grupo Ocara, em Belém-PA e através de uma análise que aponta quais benefícios a dança circular pode promover na vida deste público. Sendo uma pesquisa qualitativa, de cunho participante, que se fundamentou no enfoque fenomenológico. Utilizou-se a entrevista semiestruturadas com tratamento analítico para a verificação dos referidos objetivos, no qual foram entrevistados nove participantes do grupo OCARA. As contribuições verificadas apontaram para o incentivo à continuação da prática da dança circular, da promoção da vivência lúdica e da saúde de seus participantes, dados congruentes com o discurso das participantes da pesquisa sobre os benefícios da dança.

Abstract:
El expediente clínico es un instrumento relevante para la materialización de las finalidades del derecho a la protección de la salud. Tal expediente es el conjunto único de información y datos personales de un paciente. Los documentos escritos, gráficos, imagenológicos, electrónicos, magnéticos, electromagnéticos, ópticos, magneto-ópticos, conforman los datos personales del paciente. La información del expediente clínico es requerida a lo largo de la atención médica como intervenciones del personal de salud, el estado de bienestar físico, mental y social del paciente, entre otras. En México el manejo del expediente clínico es inadecuado: se redacta a mano y se archiva en carpetas tipo folder, lo cual genera ambigüedad de información, pérdidas de expedientes completos o partes de él, mezcla de expedientes de diferentes pacientes, confusión por la letra y abreviaciones de la persona que redactó el expediente. Esto, sin mencionar que en caso de desastres naturales o humano hay pérdidas totales o parciales de los archivos. Se sabe que en el Hospital General “C” Hermosillo Dr. Fernando Ocaranza, existe una gran área de oportunidad en la mejora continua para la satisfacción de los pacientes, ya que, por experiencia del personal, la inadecuada organización y la poca sistematización del archivo del expediente clínico, ha llevado a demoras en los procedimientos, causando molestias tanto para el paciente, como para el personal interno. El objetivo de esta investigación, es proponer y desarrollar un software para la creación del expediente clínico digital, que pueda ser almacenado tanto de forma virtual en una base de datos, como de forma física en un archivo controlado, dentro del Hospital General “C” Hermosillo Dr. Fernando Ocaranza, para el área de urgencias.

La lectura arqueológica de dos cuadros del pintor costumbrista Manuel Ocaranza permite que la autora, Angélica Velázquez, reconstruya toda una visión de la “mujer caída” que dominaba en el romanticismo mexicano de finales del siglo xix. Explica la fascinación casi perversa del imaginario masculino por la muchacha engañada o “flor marchita”. Desde el análisis iconográfico y la literatura que dan sustento a las representaciones pictóricas, así como los documentos de la época (publicaciones periódicas), analiza el papel de la mujer en una sociedad que todavía estaba transformando los viejos valores coloniales en los nuevos ideales de la república liberal y da cuenta del complejo pensamiento que anima a los tipos sociales de la novela y la pintura costumbristas.

Com o avanço dessas tecnologias o meio educacional ganha um grande reforço, pois para quem as utiliza, há uma variedade de possibilidades que podem ser aplicadas e seu uso proporciona um aprendizado mais dinâmico, gerando curiosidade e tornando o ensino mais interessante. Este trabalho foi desenvolvido dentro do projeto de P&D através de convênio celebrado entre a Universidade do Estado do Amazonas UEA e SAMSUNG, intitulado Projeto OCARA Polo de Empreendedorismo Digital da Amazônia e desenvolvido no município de Parintins durante o módulo de Transformação Digital ministrado pelo Prof Dr. Francisco Otávio Miranda Farias, neste são apresentados alguns resultados de aplicações de tecnologia voltadas ao ensino e abordados alguns aspectos da realidade aumentada (AR), apresentando-se uma aplicação metodológica para esta tecnologia, voltada ao ensino na área de ciências. Aqui é explicado o funcionamento do software BIOTEC AR que foi desenvolvido durante o curso de Transformação Digital do projeto Ocara e como ele pode ser utilizado como ferramenta de auxílio em aplicações pedagógicas de tecnologias digitais. A aplicação conta com um livreto voltado para as áreas de citologia e zoologia, em que foram implementados QR Codes específicos para cada componente do objeto de estudo.

Existem muitas discussões sobre as mudanças que o sistema educacional brasileiro tem sofrido nas últimas décadas, para atender às novas demandas provenientes do processo de universalização da educação. Porém, com base nessas mudanças é que se faz surgir o desafio de proporcionar educação de qualidade para todos. Desafios esses, que não são poucos nem tão pouco fáceis de enfrentar. No entanto, é preciso reconhecer que a educação já alcançou varias conquistas, pelo qual tem feito com que a esperança se renasça a cada novo dia. O presente trabalho parte do pressuposto que é preciso investigar, observar e analisar nossas escolas para conseguirmos obter resultados mais reais e significativos. Portanto, terá como objetivo analisar os aspectos que dificultam a aprendizagem de alunos do 1º ao 3º ano de uma escola pública de Ocara, tentando compreender até que ponto professores e escola podem contribuir para efetivar uma educação de qualidade. A população investigada foi de 40 sujeitos, entre professores, pais e alunos do 1º ao 3º ano, de escolas públicas de Ocara. Todos os sujeitos responderam a questionários que nos deram informações reais sobre o dia a dia de sala de aula e familiar, enfocando aos momentos de aprendizagem. Na verdade, teve um cunho investigativo como a finalidade de discutir, após os resultados na possível elaboração de estratégias que possa contribuir com a escola e secretaria de educação na efetivação de uma aprendizagem significativa.

Abstract:
The work studies biodigestors, cisterns and desalinizers as sustainable alternatives to coexist with the semi-arid region, seeking to understand how it is possible to benefit rural populations from the production and use of social technologies. The methodology consists of bibliographical surveys from case studies and field studies on the use of these technologies in the semi-arid region. Experiences of use were selected in the municipalities of Barreira, Ocara, Redenção and Ibaretama in the state of Ceará. In the biodigestor is contextualized the most used models at Brazil and the semiarid, with emphasis on the models adopted in the municipalities of Barreira, Ocara and Redenção. In addition, to address the importance of the use of biogas and biofertilizer. In the cisterns, the types that were used in the semi-arid region were verified and the experience of the tanks program in the municipality of Ibaretama was mentioned. In the case of desalinators, the relevance of desalination systems for populations living in water scarcity was discussed, identifying the current equipment panorama installed in Barreira. As results, it was observed that it appears as a solution to meet the basic needs of populations with water supply. Biogas can be used to replace cooking gas and biofertilizer as fertilizer for plants. To do so, it requires greater attention from the public power and active involvement of the population. It is concluded that these technologies are feasible, adaptable to rural property, simple and low cost, since they tend to solve social and structural problems, besides generating income and quality of life for the populations.

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo relatar uma experiência aplicada a uma turma de segundo ano na Escola de Ensino Médio Francisca Pinto dos Santos, no município de Ocara-ce. Utilizando os Jogos Teatrais de Viola Spolin elaboramos quatro oficinas de leitura da obra O Santo e a Porca de Ariano Suassuna, no entanto, neste trabalho focalizaremos o uso dos jogos nessas oficinas e suas respectivas consequências para a formação de leitores. Para isso, utilizamos como referencial teórico Spolin (2008), Cosson (2006), Soares (2001), entre outros.

Este trabalho analisa a diferenciação econômica, política e social entre famílias agricultoras dos projetos de assenta- mento da reforma agrária. O estudo envolveu assentados dos projetos São José II e Aroeira. Os dois, sob a coordenação do INCRA, estão localizados no Município de Ocara, na microrregião de Chorozinho no Estado do Ceará. Foi, então, realizada com os assentados uma pesquisa de campo, mediante entrevista, aplicação de questionários, realização de oficinas e observações de suas práticas. Para dar conta dessas análises, recorre-se à noção de habitus (disposições) formulada por Pierre Bourdieu. A partir desse conceito, é entendido que as disposições assimiladas pelos agentes, em suas lutas e trajetórias, têm implicações em graus variados no comportamento dos indivíduos. Assim, podemos pensar o objeto desse estudo, a diferenciação, como fenômeno construído socialmente.

Este artículo pretende, en primer lugar, recuperar una parte de la obra del poeta Narciso R. Colmán que nunca fue reeditada, el cancionero folklórico Ocara potÿ (1917, 1921), primer libro de poesías en guaraní publicado en el Paraguay. En segundo lugar, provee un modo de abordaje para la obra, partiendo del análisis y puesta en relación de procedimientos literarios y representaciones sobre lengua, sujetos y nación desde el enfoque de los estudios culturales latinoamericanos. En ese sentido, recupera los antecedentes de esta literatura en guaraní y, posteriormente, reflexiona sobre la construcción de la poesía como espacio de cruce de las lenguas más habladas en el Paraguay, guaraní y castellano, pero también como entrelugar donde se tensionan representaciones sobre la comunidad (campesina/urbana) y los motivos nacionales. El análisis revela cómo esta poesía “folklórica” trasciende el motivo costumbrista y articula significados que interactúan con el mito nacional desde los bordes del poder.

O presente artigo objetivou levantar e analisar as formas de nomear as culturas agrícolas, por trabalhadores rurais do município de Ocara-Ceará, especificamente as culturas do feijão e do milho. Para tanto, foi coletado um corpus, por meio de entrevistas realizadas com 6 agricultores. Apresentamos as lexias informadas pelos entrevistados, as interpretações e as análises do léxico que fizemos à luz dos métodos filológicos, especificamente o método Wörter und Sachen (Palavras e Coisas) e o Onomasiológico, desenvolvidos pelos romanistas no final do século XIX. Os teóricos que aplicaram os tais métodos consideram a língua oral, as vivências e o conhecimento de mundo dos sujeitos como elementos fundamentais para a nomeação das coisas, dos objetos, das práticas etc. e para o enriquecimento vocabular das línguas. Abstract:
<p class="Abstract">The most common human pathogen that colonizes in a third of healthy people around the world are <em>Staphylococcus aureus</em>, and one of the materials allegedly able to overcome the pathogen is resin. Resin has been used in folk medicine for thousands of years to treat diseases. The antimicrobial activity of natural resins can be associated with a variety of organic compounds contained in them such as diterpenoids and triterpenoids. This research aimed to explore the antibacterial and antioxidant activities of <em>Pinus merkusii, P. oocarpa, P. insularis, Agathis loranthifolia</em> resins and essential oil. Resin was separated by distillation process to get essential oil and the residue was extracted using <em>n</em>-hexane, ethyl acetate (EtOAc), and methanol (MeOH). Antioxidant activity was performed by DPPH (1,1diphenyl-2-picryl hydrazyl) radical scavenging method. The antibacterial activity of resins and essential oil of the samples determined using the disc diffusion method against <em>Staphylococcus aureus</em> and <em>Escherichia coli</em>. The results showed that the yield of resin extract was ranging from 8.44 % to 95.56%. All extracts and essential oil could not inhibit <em>E coli </em>growth but inhibit the <em>S. aureus </em>growth. This experiment concluded that resin <em>n</em>-hexane extract from <em>P.oocarpa</em> was the most potent as antibacterial activity against <em>S. aureus</em>. All of the samples used had less potential antioxidant activity compared to positive control ascorbic acid. Result of this study show that pine resin from Indonesia has potential as an antibacterial agent. </p>
