Full textBegreppet triage är centralt inom katastrofmedicin. Syftet med triage är att utnyttja de medicinska resurserna optimalt, samt att vid masskade- och katastrofsituationer differentiera drabbade med sannolik överlevnad från de med förestående död. Det är av yttersta vikt att den som utför triage är införstådd med de etiska värderingar som styr tillvägagångssättet samt det triagesystem som används. Syftet med litteraturöversikten var att beskriva hur triage används i katastrof- och masskadesituationer på skade- och uppsamlingsplats. Genom strategiskt urval har retrospektiva studier identifierats. Till resultatet har tolv katastrof- och masskadehändelser sammanställts och analyserats med fokus på förekomst av triage på skade – och uppsamlingsplats, triagesystem och över- och undertriage. Vid de välfungerade insatserna utnyttjades de medicinska resurserna effektivt, en väletablerad och genomförd triagestrategi användes. Vid de moderata insatserna förekom såväl över- som undertriage. De mindre välfungerande insatserna karaktäriserades av att ingen triage eller recusitering av de drabbade utfördes, arbetet var oorganiserat och drabbade transporterades på ett ostrukturerat sätt. Faktum är att litet finns dokumenterat kring användandet av triage på skade- och uppsamlingsplats, det existerar litet forskning samt litet eller ingen validering kring de triagesystem som används idag. Ytterligare forskning krävs för att förstå och överföra erfarenheter från reella händelser.
The concept triage is central within disastermedicine. It alludes the medical recourses optimally, and in mass casualties- or disastersituations it differentiates victims who are likely to survive from those with imminent death. It is of outmost importance that the person performing triage is involved with the ethical value that runs the procedure and the practicing triagesystem. The aim with this literaturereview was to describe how triage is performed on scene and in treatment area. Through strategic sampling retrospective studies where identified. To the result a total of twelve disaster- and mass casualties situations has been complied and analyzed focused on the presence of triage on scene or in treatment area, triagesystem, and over- or undertriage. Within the well functioning efforts the use of the medical resources where effectively, a well established and well implemented triagestrategi where used. Within the moderate efforts it occurred as well over- as undertriage. The efforts that did not functioned well where characterized by no performing triage or resuscitation of the victims, unorganized performance on scene and unstructured transportation of the victims. It is a fact that a little has been documented about performing triage on scene or in treatment area, there exists few research efforts, and little or nothing about validations of the existing triagesystem that are practiced today. Full textInflow of patients to Sweden’s emergency departments are increasing every year. In order to receive and assess patients in a patient-safe manner, triage is used. A well-functioning triage process is a prerequisite for patient-safe work at the emergency department. The aim of this review was to study the triage process in the emergency department based on nurses’ and physicians’ perceptions of education, confidence and compliance. The method was a descriptive cross-sectional study, based on a web-based survey sent to nurses and physicians active in the triage process in two hospitals in Sweden. Respondents included amounted to n=191. Data have been analyzed using quantitative and qualitative methods. Survey questions with closed answer options have been analyzed quantitatively with Chi-squared test [Χ2] and is presented using descriptive statistics. Free text replies have been analyzed qualitatively with manifest content analysis. The results show that there are shortcomings concerning the triage education at the emergency departments participating in this study. Especially physicians state that they lack education regarding the triage tool and in the triage process procedures. Respondents’ answers show that there are deficiencies regarding how well education content is consistent with how it is applied in the clinical activity and that respondents do not feel well prepared before starting triage in clinical activities. Patients’ disease states are not regarded to be adequately identified by the triage tool or during the triage process. Based on aspects of over triage and identification of care and medical needs nurses show higher confidence in SATS than DPT. However, respondents at both emergency departments state that care and medical needs are not fully identified by the triage tool or during the triage process. Few respondents state that information transfer in the triage process works well in their workplaces. The respondents may deviate from the triage tool, the triage process procedures and priority order. Perceptions of respondents are that physicians more frequently deviate than nurses. Nurses who work with nursing led triage consider in higher degree, than other respondents, that lack of compliance to triage process procedures affects patient safety at their place of work. The conclusion is that there are shortcomings regarding the triage process in the emergency departments included in this study that could adversely affect patient safety.

Full textBackground: The purpose of triage in the emergency department is to ensure that patients with the greatest need of care receive it within a reasonable time and in a proper manner. The triage process starts by creating an initial contact between nurse and patient, where communication is a vital part. Being able to communicate information to other people and to interpret messages is a part of the communication and also to listen and provide answers to other people's expressions. Non-verbal communication is also a great part of what is communicated. The emergency room is a stressful environment and there is much to learn in what can make communication between nurses and patients better. Aim: To highlight what hinders and promotes communication between nurses and patients in triage and at the emergency department. Method: A general literature study based on ten qualitative articles. Results: Two main themes and seven subthemes were identified. Main themes were: Promoting communication and Obstacles for communication. Subthemes were: Verbal communication, Non-verbal communication, Participation in care, Non-participation, Lack of individual focus, Lack of time and Lack of information. Conclusion: The results of the study show that more factors in triage and emergency care became hindrance of communication. The patients lack information about the routines in the emergency department and the nurses do not have enough time to inform the patients. The factors that affect promotion of communication consist with Habermas (1981/1990) theory where communication is based on open-hearted grounds, honesty and understanding. Clinical implication: A more patient-centered communication and better information may be needed at the emergency departments to secure good care of the patients and thereby facilitate the nurses work.

Full textBackground: Triage is the sorting of patients according to the severity of medical assessment. Triage has a long history of use in Anglo-Saxon countries but is a fairly new method in Sweden. Researchers have described the Manchester triage group method (MTS) and a literature review of the concept; working contentment and competence focusing on triage. Aim: The ambition with this study was to describe a number of triage nurses working conditions. The research questions were; working with MTS- does it bring work contentment? What kind of competence is needed? Method: Data was collected from 74 triage nurses by a questionnaire containing 37 questions and two questions provided the nurses the opportunities to describe their triage experiences. Findings: The nurses found their job interesting and stimulating, but some reported unsatisfactory work environment due to lack of education, competence, support and high work load. The informants ask for more education; to solve and discuss patient scenarios and to participate in the developing of MTS. Sixty-three percent thought MTS was a difficult method with some disadvantages. The majority found triage to be a nurse task.

Full textBackground: RETTS-PSY is a triage instrument used by the nurses during the triage process to implement priorities and assessments of patients in psychiatry care. Aim: To investigate the nurses' experiences of assessing patients with RETTS-PSY at a psychiatric emergency service. Method: A qualitative descriptive study was conducted, and thirteen nurses and psychiatric nurses were interviewed about using the RETTS-PSY as an assessment tool. Interviews were performed at major regional hospitals psychiatric emergency units in Scania, Sweden. The interviews were analyzed by Burnard, a qualitative content manifest analysis. Results: Four categories and eight subcategories described experiences of triage work. The categories were: Feeling support and safety, Feelings of consistency and conformity, Importance of professional assessment and Importance of personal qualities. The Triage scale RETTS-PSY was experienced as a safety tool for the nurse's triage work. Triage work requires knowledge and experience to provide good patient safety care and avoid duplication of documentation. One disadvantage was experienced, namely that the instrument does not cover all patient signs and symptoms. Conclusion: The triage with RETTS-PSY requires professionalism. The triage scale should be developed and refined so that the nurse is given the opportunity to practice all her skills for the safety and benefit of the patient. Full textBackground. Primary care is expanding globally and undergoing change. Accessibility is a priority, which has led to an increase in triage via telephone counseling and walk-in centres. The purpose of this literature review was to examine advantages and disadvantages with triage in primary health care related to patient safety. The Design was an integrative literature review with an inductive approach. A mixed method with both qualitative and quantitative articles were used. Convergent parallel design was used to analyze the articles. Main findings. Triage in primary health care was judged to be safe for patients. Registered nurses had good communication skills that contributed to increased patient safety. However multiple factors that risked threatening patient safety were identified. Disadvantages identified in telephone triage were the flaws in the computerized decision support system and inadequacies in nurse’s communication skills among others. The walk-in centers needed to evolve but were considered to promote patient safety. Further education in triage and communication was requested to ensure patient safety. Conclusion. Triage in primary healthcare via telephone counseling is beneficial for patient safety. The results of the literature study also suggest that triage at walk-in centers is beneficial for patient safety, but further research is required to be able to investigate whether this result reflects reality. Registered nurses' communication skills can constitute both advantages and disadvantages of triage in primary health care in relation to patient safety, depending on whether the communication skills are good or lacking. Several factors are identified that risk threatening patient safety.

ska kunna möta och ta hand om patienter med olika bakgrund
och erfarenhet. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa faktorer
som påverkar sjuksköterska och patient vid omhändertagande på
akutmottagning. Studien genomfördes som en litteraturstudie, med
induktiv metod där fakta i resultaten kategoriserades i tre delar,
vilka var kompetens, bemötande och bedömning. Alla som utsätts
för något traumatiskt riskerar att drabbas av posttraumatiskt
stressyndrom. Detta gäller både sjuksköterska och patient. För att
inte omvårdnaden av patienten ska påverkas negativt, bör
sjuksköterskor som utsatts för traumatiska upplevelser få hjälp att
bearbeta dem. Studien visar att även om teknisk och praktisk
kompetens är nödvändig hos sjuksköterskan, påverkas patienten av
dennes beteende, bemötande och egna erfarenheter. En
patientinriktad omvårdnad medför att patienten känner
välbefinnande och säkerhet. Verbal och icke-verbal
kommunikationsförmåga värderas högt och är en förutsättning för
att patienten känner trygghet och värdighet. Vid omhändertagandet
bör patienten mötas och triagebedömas på ett korrekt och
respektfullt sätt. Både utarbetade triagemallar och VAS-skala
behöver användas i större utsträckning än vad som görs idag för att
förbättra omhändertagandet. Sjuksköterskan ska ta patientens
upplevelser på allvar för att uppnå en optimal omvårdnad.

Full textSjukvårdsrådgivning via telefon har kommit att bli ett allt vanligare sätt att kontakta vården. Det är också ett smidigt sätt att i dagens mobila samhälle utnyttja tiden effektivt. Denna typ av sjukvårdsrådgivning skiljer sig från det annars traditionella sättet där sjuksköterskan fysiskt möter patienten till exempel på en vårdcentral. I anslutning till den tidigare sjukvården finns också etablerade metoder och riktlinjer för patientsäkerhet, vilket bidrar till att kontinuerligt sträva efter att upprätthålla god vårdkvalitet och trygghet för patienten. En metod är exempelvis det avvikelserapporteringssystem som sedan tidigare används inom bland annat Landstinget i Östergötland, vilket också har kommit att användas på Sjukvårdsrådgivningen i Linköping.
Syftet med denna studie var att inom en verksamhet för sjukvårdsrådgivning via telefon undersöka vilka attityder personalen har till patientsäkerhet, samt hur de själva beskriver sina åsikter angående detta ämne. Baserat på tidigare forskning relateras resultaten till vilken påverkan de uppskattas ha på verksamhetens säkerhetskultur.
En webbenkät användes som instrument i studiens datainsamling. Frågorna var sedan tidigare framtagna för att mäta patientsäkerhet inom traditionell sjukvård, vilka grundade sig på element från säkerhetskulturforskning. En av studiens centrala upptäckter tyder på att personalen tycker att det är svårt att hinna med att rapportera avvikelser. Det fanns också en tendens att flera sjukvårdsrådgivare berättar om avvikelser för arbetskamrater när de väl upptäcks, än antal som avvikelserapporterar på formellt vis. Vidare påträffades också att respondenterna inte är rädda för att be om hjälp när oklarheter i arbetet uppstår. En av studiens slutsatser var att sjukvårdsrådgivarna behöver mer tid till att kunna prioritera att rapportera avvikelser som upptäcks för att minimera informationsbortfall.

Full textI takt med teknikutveckling, vårdens ökade krav på tillgänglighet och effektivitet så ökar även vården som sker på distans. Telefonrådgivning är en del av den. Sjuksköterskor och patienter behöver numera inte befinna sig på samma plats vilket ställer andra krav på sjuksköterskornas kompetens. Arbetet som telefonsjuksköterska är en komplex arbetssituation som kräver specialistkunskaper och ger sjuksköterskorna utmaningar. Syftet med studien var att belysa sjuksköterskors erfarenheter och upplevelser av arbete med telefonrådgivning. Metoden var en litteraturstudie med kvalitativ innehållsanalys av 11 vetenskapliga artiklar. Resultatet visade på följande fyra framträdande teman: Faktorer av betydelse för problem identifikation och beslutsfattande, faktorer hos telefonsjuksköterskan, kommunikationsfaktorer samt organisationsfaktorer. Diskussionen påvisade telefonsjuksköterskornas arbetsprocess som bestod i att skapa god kommunikation, samla information, bedöma vårdbehov, ge egenvårdsråd eller hänvisa vidare för att slutligen få tillbaka positiv eller negativ feedback. Slutsatsen var att telefonsjuksköterskorna hade en komplex arbetssituation med många påverkande faktorer. För att underlätta arbetet efterfrågades användarvänliga data/beslutstöd samt specialistutbildning.

Full textSyfte: Akutmottagningen i USA förlitar sig kraftigt på en subjektiv värdering av patienter. Denna studie söker efter att evaluera ett elektronisk triage systembaserad på maskininlärningsmodeller som kan förutse patienters ESI. Metod: Ett data set som innehåller 560 486 patienters triage data har undersökts. Tre olika maskininlärningsmodeller har testats och evaluerats. En cross validation tabell och en confusion matrix har skapats för varje modell. Precision, recall och f1 värde har kalkylerats och rapporterats. Resultat: Gradient Boosting modellen har returnerat ett accuracy värde av 68%. Random Forest modellen har returnerat ett accuracy värde av 66%. Gaussian Naive Bayes modellen har returnerat ett accuracy värde av 25%. Slutsats: Modellen som har bäst förutsett ESI nivåerna är Gradient Boostingmodellen. Flera tester behövs med starkare beräkningskraft då vi inte kunde träna vår modell med hela datasetet.

Full textThe pressure is getting tougher on Accident and Emergency departments. Therefore it is crucial to study how the patient’s perceive their visit to the Emergency department. Knowledge about this enables improvement of routines, patient participation and patient safety. The purpose of the study was to investigate patient’s experiences of their visit at the Emergency department.
A descriptive design was used. Patients (n=91) who visited the Emergency department at Uppsala University Hospital during two weeks in October 2009, answered a questionnaire. The questionnaire consisted of 13 questions about the visit, waiting time and information.
The result showed that most of the patients found that the waiting time was acceptable and they perceived that the staff was competent and professional. On the other hand most patients perceived that they did not receive enough information of the prioritization of the patients in the Emergency department and information about expected waiting time.
The study result shows that one part of the patient didn´t get information about expecting waiting time and the order of priority and the conclusion was that the study shows that the majority of the patients perceived their Emergency department visit as positive.

Full textThe aim of the present literature studie was to describe the process of telephone nursing at the central medical care help line. Article search was performed through PubMed and Cinahl. The results showed that counseling call could be described by four phases 1) collect and disseminate information 2) analysis and interpretation 3) assessment 4)proceed. Opportunities for the nurse were to create a good relationship and good contact, analyze health problem and assess care needs and interpret the care seekers feelings of experience of the symptoms and situation. Results showed that nurses experienced difficulty in asking the right questions and to manage emotions of the care seekers. The care seekers opportunities in counseling call were to get their health assessed and guidance in managing their health problems, both practical and emotional. Not getting the respect and acknowledgment of feelings and desires around health problem were difficulties for the care seekers in the counseling call. The conclusion from this study is that the call may be described as a process with four phases similar to the care process with an interaction and decision-making with the nurse and the care seekers together to reach consensus in decision and action.

Full textNurses working at the Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) centers in the Swedish counties of Uppsala and Västmanland routinely refer patients determined to not require an ambulance to non-emergency care. In this study, hospital records were reviewed to match calls to patients visiting an Emergency Department (ED) within 72 hours of being referred to non- emergency care by an EMD nurse. The prevalence of a number of outcomes was examined, and logistic regression models were used to analyze the effects of several variables of interest. 20% of callers referred to non-emergency medical care visited an ED within 72 hours. Of these, 57% received specialist level care, and 37% were admitted to the hospital. 86% of ED visits were found to be in regards to the condition the patient contacted the EMD for. Elderly patients were less likely to be referred to non-emergency care, but more likely to receive specialist care and be admitted. Very frequent callers were more likely to be referred to non-emergency care, while a moderate rate of contact was associated with increased odds of ED visitation and hospital admission from the ED. Non-utilization of the EMDs’ decision support tool was more common among callers referred to non-emergency care. Calls closed by dispatchers without further referral to other healthcare providers were less likely to result in an ED visit. The prevalence of ED visitations and admissions found in this study are similar to those found in other studies of Scandinavian pre-hospital triage, and a number of possibilities for quality improvement and future studies were identified.

The pressure to seek healthcare increases in part due, to the fact that it is difficult to book an appointment at primary health care centres. Additionally guardians´ have an increased trust in paediatric emergency departments and many are referred there by the healthcare guide 1177. This means that a large number of guardians´ seeking health care for their children from the pediatric emergency departments, are referred to another level of care, and thus either return home with self-care counsel or be treated by a triage nurse. Purpose: The aim of this study is to describe how guardians´ with children younger than fifteen years old, perceived the experience of emergency paediatric triage. Method: This study is qualitative and data was gathered using semi-structured interviews. Ten guardians´ who took their children to a paediatricemergency department triage took part in the study. The collected data was analysed using Burnard´s (1996) qualitative content method and three subcategories were identified; placing the child at the centre, confirming the guardian´s concern for the child and the guardians´ satisfaction with the information they received. One main category was also identified; the guardians´ satisfaction with the emergency department triage. Results: The results indicates that guardians´ appreciate when nurses place children at the centre, they communicate well with children, were fantastic with children and they were experts whose assessment guardians´ relied on. Most guardians´ were satisfied with the fact that children have their own triage and were also satisfied with the home-care information they received from nurses. Conclusion: Guardians´ responded positively to the emergency paediatric triage and to the triage nurses. They were pleased with the self-care advice that they received when they had to take care of the child at home. Guardians´ need support when making self-care decisions as there are few people to ask. Full textBackground: At a psychiatric emergency room the nurse needs, for a limited time, to assess the patient's risk of suicidal disorders. Previous research shows that nurses perceive suicide risk assessments as difficult and stressful. Purpose: The purpose was to describe nurses' experiences of making suicide risk assessments within the framework of performing triage at psychiatric emergency clinics. Method: Interviews were conducted with twelve nurses performing triage at two psychiatric emergency clinics under the auspices of Region Skåne. Results: The overall theme: The nurse's suicide risk assessment at triage can have decisive consequences was based on the four categories: Part of daily work, Suicide risk assessment difficulties, Circumstances that facilitate suicide risk assessments, Need for support. The result showed that despite of a heavy responsibility in conducting suicide risk assessments, the nurses´ experienced satisfaction in their work. Several circumstances that facilitated and made suicide risk assessments difficult were identified and the importance of the nursing alliance proved to be significant. The support of colleagues and management were also experienced as necessary. Conclusion: Suicide risk assessments when performing triage are complex. There is a need for security in working methods and continuity of the staff group. The result highlights an increased need for support and understanding from management and organization regarding requirements and management in patients' suicide attempts.

Full textBackground: Triage is one of the nurse's duties at the health center which among other things means that she must assess and make decisions when a woman seeks treatment for gynecological problems. Many gynecological disorders are diffuse and there are many diagnoses whose symptoms are consistent with gynecological symptoms. Women with gynecological problems may find it difficult to explain their illness and may be reluctant to seek care, this constitutes an obstacle for the nurse. Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate the nurses' experiences in triage of women with gynecological problems. Method: An interview study was performed and analyzed with content analysis. Results: The nurses had experienced that there were difficulties to follow the guidelines and make decisions over the telephone. Referral requirement resulting in long waiting lists and sociocultural challenges related to talk about gynecological problems. Language can be a barrier in triage, especially over the telephone. The nurses were in need of skills to advantageously carry out the work with triage of women. The nurses had also learned that they needed a development of skills. Conclusion: The difficulties the nurses learned by working with triage of women with gynecological problems is that it is related to the organizational conditions, sociocultural challenges, to assessing symptoms and the lack of competence. This points to a need for development of skills of nurses who do not have access to consultation with a gynecologist, audited guidelines and organizational conditions of health centers in Malmö.

Digitalisering förväntas fylla en fundamental roll i denna transformation och digitala vårdgivare i primärvården har under de senaste åren växt till en betydande del av den svenska primärvårdssektorn. Flertalet av dessa har byggt lösningar för automatiserat triage, där triagefunktionärens roll ersätts av en automatiserad process där en triagealgoritm direkt hänvisar patienten till den lämpliga vårdnivån. Trots tillväxten av digitala vårdgivare i primärvården och deras automatiserade triagesystem i primärvården är forskning kring effekterna av att automatisera triageprocessen i primärvården begränsad. Denna studie strävar efter att utvärdera potentialen i att använda MCDM-modeller för automatiserat triage i den digitala primärvården genom en casestudie på en av de ledande digitala vårdgivarna i primärvården. Studien är uppdelad i två delar. I del ett genomförs intervjuer för att kvalitativt fastställa vilka faktorer som bör inkluderas i en automatiserad MCDM-modell för triage. I del två simuleras den resulterande MCDM-modellen för att utvärdera dess resultat jämfört med den traditionella triagemodellen i vilken alla patienter har ett inledande möte med en sjuksköterska. Studien visar att en automatiserad MCDM-modell för triage kan förbättra kostnadseffektiviteten i termer av lönekostnader och produktivitet i termer av färre konsultationer per patient, jämfört med den traditionella triagemodellen. Däremot visar den traditionella triagemodellen högre effektivitet i termer av att enbart utnyttja läkarresurser för patienter i absolut behov av läkarvård.

Full textBackground: Telephone consultation is a large part of the primary health care nurse’s work and almost everyone has at some point of time been in telephone contact with the medical care. The use of a decision support is now more usual in consultation and triaging. Region Skåne has developed the Triagehandboken (a triage manual) which is a decision support made for all levels in medical care. Aim: The study will illustrate primary health care nurses’ experience of using the Triagehandboken in telephone consultation. If it is experienced as a support or a limitation, and how they experience the patients satisfaction when a decision has been made according to the Triagehandboken.Method: A questionaire study with qualitative approach was made. Manifest content analysis was used to analyse the data. Result: The result showed that the nurses´ for the most part experienced the Triagehandboken as a safe support in triaging and consultation and that they often experienced the patients’ satisfaction as good. Some limitations emerged in the result, as some of the nurses´ experienced that the Triagehandboken was time-consuming to use and in some situations was seen as incomplete.Conclusion: We think that the result of the study is representative for the primary care in southeast Skåne.

Full textDigitala plattformar inom hälso- och sjukvården implementeras allt mer med syfte att underlätta samt effektivisera det vardagliga vårdarbetet på sjukhus och vårdcentraler. Parallellt med den nya digitaliserade eran har denna digitala transformation haft en stor påverkan på individers arbetssätt inom hälso- och sjukvården. Det är därmed signifikant att den digitala kompetensen prioriteras för att uppnå de avsedda målen gällande effektivisering av patienthantering. Den kvalitativa undersökningen belyser hur den digifysiska vården påverkar det vardagliga vårdarbetet samt patienthantering. Studien ämnar även att dra slutsatser kring hur digitala vårdplattformar påverkar det vardagliga vårdarbetet, vilka för och nackdelar som går att urskilja. Syftet med studien är att undersöka på vilket sätt digitala plattformar kan implementeras för att effektivisera sjukvården och därmed bidra med ett forskningsbidrag till informatikämnet. Forskningsfrågan avser hur digitala plattformar kan tillämpas för att effektivisera patienthantering, ur ett leverantörsperspektiv. Datainsamlingen innefattar en online enkät i form av Google formulär med 10 frågor som 11 respondenter fick besvara. Detta kompletteras med tre intervjuer som utförs via det digitala kommunikationsverktyget Microsoft teams. Dessa respondenter är noggrant utvalda för att generera relevant kunskap kring forskningsämnet. Baserat på respondenternas svar går det att konstatera att samtliga respondenter ansåg att det finns många positiva fördelar med tillämpning av digitala plattformar inom hälso- och sjukvård. Positiva effekter uppnås genom att implementeringen av digitala plattformar sker på ett väl genomtänkt och strukturerat sätt. Merparten av respondenterna poängterade att det är viktigt att vårdgivarna ges rätt förutsättningar för att kunna arbeta utifrån den digitala plattformen. Den omfattande kritiken som digitala vårdgivare har fått påvisas i studien. Den främsta kritiken är att digitala vårdgivare prioriterar mer lätthanterliga ärenden såsom lättare fysiska åkommor för dem som har högre socioekonomisk status. Baserat på undersökningen poängteras vikten av att implementera digitala vårdplattformar ur ett jämställdhetsperspektiv. Framöver behöver digitala plattformar implementeras och utvecklas med den gemensamma målsättningen att öka tillgängligheten för patienter och erbjuda en mer patientcentrerad vård.

Full textBackground: The district nurse triage daily patients with mental illness in primary care. Mental illness is multifaceted and to some extent taboo in society. This requires that the district nurse has a good knowledge of mental illness and how it can express itself in different patients. The district nurse also needs to take a holistic approach with person-centred care in focus. Aim: The aim was the district nurse experiences with triage of patients with mental illness in primary care. Method: A qualitative research approach based on interviews with eight district nurse/nurse active in primary care. Qualitative content analysis. Result: The result was three categories and ten subcategories. The three categories were: Deficiencies in education, Challenges in triage and Deficiencies in collaboration. The results showed that the district nurse needs to have more knowledge about mental illness and have the conditions required to carry out a good triage, such as support tools and security in dialogue about suicidal thoughts in the patient. The district nurse needs to be aware of somatization and its impact on triage. The collaboration between primary care and the open psychiatric clinic needs to be improved. Conclusion: In order for triage of mental illness to improve, the district nurse needs to receive more training in mental illness. There, both employers and education managers have a responsibility to influence the opportunities for triage of mental illness in primary care. The district nurse also needs support tools to ensure equivalent triage of mental illness in primary care.

Full textThis essay aims to investigate the existence of triple-net agreements on the market and how well the Swedish rental regulations is applicable to triple-net agreements. The method of this study is both of quantitative and qualitative nature. A quantitative survey aims to locate triple-net agreements while the qualitative case study, through interviews, aims to provide a deeper understanding of how triple-net works in the businesses. One conclusion of the study is that since triple-net is not defined by law, the contractual form has been showed difficult to locate. Because of this, it is difficult to know exactly how commonly triple-net is used on the market. However, the study has shown that triple-net agreements are most common in the logistics and storage industry segment as well as at sale and leaseback-agreements. The rental regulations have clearly been found not to be written for triple-net agreements and in that sense it is not applicable on this contractual form. Companies on the market do not see any problems to the extent that the parties trust each other and the tenant does not rely on compelling law.

Full textOne reason why many change initiatives fails is becauseof the employees' resistance to change. Dispositional resistance to change (RTC) is described as individual tendencies to avoid or resist change. The purpose of this quantitative study was to investigate to which extent an individual's personality explains its resistance to change. A web-based survey consisting of the IPIP30, SD3 and RTC scale instruments was answered by 158 participants (women=70%). Bivariate correlation and multiple regression analysis were used to process the data. The results showed that 41% of the variance in RTC can be explained by the Big Five and the control variables of the study, personality traits extraversion and neuroticism accounted for the significant contributions. The study showed that the Big Five is related to all RTC factors, this has not been reported before. Furthermore, the study showed that Dark Triad together with the control variables accounted for 23% of the variance in RTC, narcissism and Machiavellianism accounted for the most important contributions. The study indicates that there may be further uses for personality testing.

En tematisk analys av intervjuer ger insyn till tjänstemäns egna övertygelser angående projektet. Kompletterande dokumentanalys av projektets förarbete skapar förståelse för visionerna och Ebbeparks helhetsplan. Ett exempel på skillnader mellan planerade intentioner och utfallet, är Linköpings universitets roll. Från att vara engagerade om en fysisk närvaro i Ebbepark för ökat innovationsskpande, till att centralisera sin verksamhet inom campusområdet. Det leder till en minskad akademisk närvaro, något som kan minska möjligheterna för en Triple-Helixsamverkan.
