Abstract:
Zdraví/nemoc je sociálně a kulturně konstruovaná kategorie. V Zambii je nemoc chápána komplexně, v jejím kosmologickém a sociálním rozměru. Nemoc není konceptualizována pouze jako narušení fyzické a psychické integrity člověka, ale představuje v nejširším slova smyslu neštěstí nebo smůlu, jehož příčina má externí povahu a je spojována s konkrétní agresí a záměrem démonů, mstivých duchů nebo zlých čarodějů/nic. Místní věří, že tyto neviditelné síly prostupují celým jejich životem a významně ovlivňují zdraví, plodnost, bohatství a mezilidské vztahy. Na rozdíl od biomedicíny založené na karteziánském chápání těla a duše, chápou místní tělo a nemoc jako polysémantickou kategorii v níž jsou zahrnuty fyzické, psychické, duchovní, sociální i enviromentální aspekty. Lokální konceptualizace těla je založena na metaforickém spojení fyziologie člověka a ekologie (konkrétně ročních cyklů v přírodě) a bere v potaz tělesnou teplotu a fluiditu tělesných tekutin. Pro obyvatele Lusaky je zdraví (stejně jako bohatství) chápáno jako kvantitativní entita, která je distribuována na principu „omezeného dobra“. Věří se, že člověk může nabýt zdraví nebo bohatství jedině „na úkor“ jiného člověka, který tím pádem onemocní nebo přijde o své jmění. Proces onemocnění a léčení je tak vzájemně propojen a ovlivňuje se.

Abstract:
Předmětem studie je uměnovědná, antropologická a historická analýza grafického díla belgického ilustrátora a grafika Féliciena Ropse (1833–1898). Originální umělecká tvorba Ropse integrovala dekadentní erotiku, nihilistický symbolismus a tabuizovaná sexuální témata. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována alegorickým listům La Tentation de Saint-Antoine (1878) a La Dame au cochon – Pornocratès (1878), které tvoří mezník Ropsova kontroverzního díla. Cílem studie je představit grafický cyklus Les Sataniques (1882), jenž je uměleckou oslavou Satana, vášní, násilí, smyslnosti a vypjatého individualismu. Soubor grafických listů Les Sataniques se v této studii stal prostředkem k interpretaci vztahu ženy a Satana jako specifické kulturní konstrukce, která je spjatá s konkrétním sociálním a historickým kontextem. Studie usiluje prokázat hypotézu, že status ženy se proměňoval v závislosti na maskulinní vládě a moci, která se podílí na schématickém vnímání jejího těla, mysli i duše.

The theme of dissertation is to create the architectural study of a Roman bath and sauna World. Spa are part of a complex aqvapark. There is a defined a part of the aqvapark. Dedicated to recreation and clearing the body. I propose a new open space, allowing penetration of light and air. THe area comprising the impression of kontinuity and at the same time the idea of intimacy. Using simple geometric forms allows capturing the important principles of operation.

Diploma thesis "Relating Body and Soul in Plato and Aristotle"deals with the problem of the relation of body and soul in Plato's and Aristotle's philosophy, and primarily with comparison of both concepts. The aim of this work is at first to discuss the concept of soul particularly in its connection with body separately in Plato and in Aristotle; secondly, to find out how did the concepts consist and also differ. Then the purpose is to show that both these greatest thinkers of antiquity influenced each other, took over their thoughts, but they did not fear to be critical either, that applies especially to Aristotle.

Abstract:
This work attempts to outline concepts associated with body in the Old Norse literature. As the word for the body (líkamr) as well as the term for an incorporeal soul (sál) do not occur in the Old Norse literature until the translated Christian works and cannot therefore be used as markers, two areas closely connected with the concept of body have been chosen for the research: shifting of shape (hamr) and somatic expressions of emotions. In the first area, i.e. phenomena associated with shape-shifting, contexts of all (113) occurrences of radix ham- in the Old Norse literature are analysed in order to describe the semantical field of this root. Within the themes that have appeared in the material (i.e. shape-shifting related to flying, battle frenzy and magic), occurrences are ordered on an axis from those where the form (hamr) is considered to be holistic to those where just the form of body or soul is described. In this context, it is important to mention the proximity of man and animal in the Germanic environment, as shape-shifting is often related to an animal and thus points to the limits of human identity. In the second area, i.e. somatic expressions of emotions, we can also find cases where the mental and the physical area intersect and the boundaries between diseases and emotions are not...

But when we are lost we can find the truth and ourselves. We can take care of our soul in this ways: relaxing, meditation, movement. When we are moving, soul is in harmony with a body. Every woman has shapes of her body from her forefathers and she should appreciate it.

Abstract:
Diploma thesis "Yoga as a tool for the conscious body from the perspective of the phenomenological concept of corporeality" deals with corporeality, the phenomenology of the body and yoga as a tool for finding the harmony of the conscious body. The introduction of the thesis explains the importance of this topic from the perspective of the society-wide concept and also explains the motivation of the author to its processing. The historical background dealing with the Cartesian conception of the body based on Descartes' dualism was described in the theoretical part. The next chapter in the theoretical part was devoted to the comparison of concepts from Cartesian and yoga meditation, and description of the phenomenology of corporeality in Merleau-Ponty. The chapters dealing with the issue of increasing psychic tension in children and youth and the resulting need to deal with the care of the soul were emphasized. The importance of yoga as a meaning of restoring stability was explained in a separate chapter. Individual types of asanas and their effect on the human body were described there as well. The effects of yoga on health in selected research publications were discussed in the practical part along with foreign researches by contemporary scientists and researchers from the ranks of psychologists,...

Abstract:
This work discourses about the teaching of bulgarian {--} french philosopher, pedagogue and spiritual teacher Omraam Mikhaël Aivanhov. It is divided in several thematic chapters discoursing always a certain philosofical {--} spiritual theme from the point of view how is it treated in the teaching of Aivanhov. Among those themes are for example: Creation, Good and evil, About God, Jesus and Christ, Reincarnation, Soul, Ressurection, Holy Trinity. Aivanhov has fresh and undogmatic approach to these themes and he accents that his teaching can serve to a man for the practical work on him or herself. He does not stick to any particular tradition neither he arteficially syncretizes. He rather sees the various levels of the creation and its Creator as a reality which has universal laws and principles. And a mission of man is according to Aivanhov to discover those laws and principles and to live in harmony with them.
