Abstract In this paper, a study of numerical simulation was conducted based on heat transfer and finite element theory, to analyze the sealing gap change between the oil distribution sleeve (ODS) and the shaft by the effect of temperature. The results showed that the temperature is the dominant reason for the failure of the ODS seal.
