Abstract:

This thesis solves the new building of commercial building with flats in vacant space in Prague street in Hořovice. This building is with the cellar in a part of object and it has four floors. Commercial building has rectangular ground plan and it is covered with flat roof. The facade will be furnished with contact thermally insulated system with improved plaster and cladding tape. The object is proposed to be made with brick from block. Ceiling is made from iron-concrete ceiling panels. In the basement there are cellar boxes for the each apartments, store room and boiler room. In the ground floor there are four shops which are directly approachable from the outside. Every shops have own store room, office and restroom. There are also situated pram room for apartments and two stores for household rubbish. The first floor is constructed for offices where two companies can be located. In the second floor there are six apartments. Two of them can be adapted for the person with reduced mobility. The third floor is identical with the second floor.

Abstract:

Proposed office and apartment buildings are situated in the south-east area of the city of Jihlava Handlovy dvory. Office and apartment buildings are designed as three-storey detached house, flat roof with a single casing. Buildings have rectangle layouts. The Objects are called Object A and Object B. Object A: There are four shops and exchange station in the 1st floor. In the second floor there are situated 4 apartments consisting of two rooms and a house cellar. The third floor is of the same pattern as the second one (again 4 apartments consisting of two rooms and a house cellar). In the object there are 8 apartments altogether. Object B: There are gym, one shop and exchange station in the 1st floor. In the second floor there are situated 4 apartments consisting of three rooms. The third floor is of the same pattern as the second one (again 4 apartments consisting of three rooms). In the object there are 8 apartments altogether. The houses are made of building system VELOX.

Abstract:

The study solves the reconstruction and extension department store called Centrum, which is located in the city center of Brno.It is designed by the famous Czech architect Vladimír Karfík. The building was designed as a skyscraper, unfortunately, was built only 8 floors. The proposal for the reconstruction of the floors, where there will be placed services for public, then will be build the superstructure of 7 floors, where will be the apartments. The interpretation of facade design to back the idea of original horizontality.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis addresses the processing of project documentation for construction of four storey mixed-use bouilding with partial basement in Velké Opatovice. The building is designed on flat terrain. In the basement are located technical utilities of the building and three cellar cubicles. On the first floor there is a beer-shop, textile shop and design office. On the second floor there is an office space for local company. The thrid floor is designed as two large-area apartments with terraces. The fourth floor is designed as one large-area apartment with terraces.

Abstract:

Subject of this final thesis is to develop project documents of a new mixed-use building in Havířov. The building has three floors and basement car park. On the first floor there is a café and shops. On the second and third floor there are office spaces. Structural sytem of building is cast-in-place concrete frame. Exterior building envelope is made of sand-lime bricks with ventilated facade with thermal insulation of mineral wool insulation. The roof of the building is designed as a non-walkable warm flat roof.

Abstract:

The master’s thesis deals with design documentation of a multifunctional building in Vyskov. The property consists of eight apartments, shops and offices. It is a detached, three-storey building without a basement. Parking space is solved by parking in front of the building. The shape in plan consists of three rectangles with a flat roof. The house is fitted to almost flat terrain. The main entrances to the building are situated to the north, west, northwest. The building is designed from the structural system POROTHERM.

Abstract:

This thesis project is a developing office building, designed for a start-up company. One character of the company is that its main projects serve China, but there are also few local projects. The main goal of this architecture is to provide a convenient and changeable place for this start-up company. There are a few disciplines during design process: 1. The building has a round shape and blocks add on when it grows. 2. In the middle of the building, it is a fixed courtyard which covered by skylight. 3. The blocks are in modules and the rooms function can be changed as needed. 4. The roof at the early stage of this architecture can be used as floors in the future. The site is located in the suburban area of Washington DC, which next to the Rock Creek Park. Surrounding buildings mostly are traditional residential architectures,with sloping roof and brick walls.This site is only 3 blocks away from the main street. Therefore, the site can provide an urban context which means clients and employees can easily get into. But people do not need to afford too high price for the land. What's more, people can enjoy a pretty view while working. The building has the steel frame as the primary structure and concrete covering for the floor slab. For the elevation, the adjustable wood panel and curtain walls are used to balance with local sun orientation.<br>Master of Architecture
