Full textThe aim of this project is to develop an auxiliary office chair, which favorably will compete with
the existing chairs on the market. Evolutions of ergonomical survey in the work environment and
on the configuration of offices require new products which fulfill the requirements properly.
In order to achieve it a survey about office chairs has been carried out: types, characteristics, ways
of usage and products on the market besides a large antropometrical study and ergonomics related
to work area study.
The result is an auxillary office chair which improves significatively in ergonomics compared with
such chairs found in the market survey.
Moreover it is achieved a great improvement refering to apilability stackable characteristics and
manufacturing, as this chair has good features as easily cleanning and innovative aesthetics and no
high manufacturing cost. That means an easily marketed product.

In recent times, the use of robots in industry has revolutionized production methods, and enabled an increase in the quality of goods manufactured while decreasing the long term cost of labor. The commercial market, however, is largely lacking in robotic technology which could potentially revolutionize many everyday tasks undertaken by humans. This thesis describes a design integrating robotic technology with a common office chair. The requirements of such a chair are discussed, as well as the resulting design decisions. The advantages and drawbacks of the Voice Coil Actuators used in the design are also discussed. A prototype control system, enabling ergonomically beneficial motion is described and analyzed. Additionally, qualitative feedback from human testers is given, and suggestions for future work are made.

Full textENGLISH ABSTRACT: Aims: To assess the effect of a chair and computer screen height adjustment on the neck and upper back musculoskeletal symptoms in an office worker. Methods: An N=1 study was conducted using the ABC design. Ethics approval was obtained for the study and the participant provided informed written consent. The participant was assessed over three four week phases as she performed her habitual computer work. The outcome measures assessed during the three phases were the pain intensity and perceived sitting comfort. The three phases were named the baseline, intervention and wash-out phases. During the baseline phase, the outcome measures were obtained at the participant‟s habitual work station. The intervention phase involved a vertical adjustment of the chair and computer screen height. The wash-out phase allowed the participant to adjust the chair and computer screen height to their choice. A follow-up interview was conducted with the participant three months after completion of the study. The mean values and the ranges of the pain intensity and perceived comfort were obtained and compared. The data collected was captured on a Microsoft Excel 2010 spread sheet, where after the data was tabulated and presented graphically. Results: The mean pain intensity of the participant increased slightly during the intervention phase in comparison to the baseline phase, but remained stable during the wash-out phase. The mean perceived sitting comfort deteriorated initially during the intervention phase, but improved later during the intervention phase and showed greater improvement during the wash out phase. The perceived sitting comfort showed more improvement than the pain intensity during the washout phase. Both the pain intensity and perceived sitting comfort showed improvement at the three months follow up assessment, post completion of the study. Conclusion: The vertical height adjustment of the chair and the VDT did not improve the participant‟s pain intensity and perceived sitting comfort when compared to the participant‟s habitual workstation parameters. The findings do not favour the horizontal viewing angle. The findings of this study however support the use of „slightly below horizontal‟ viewing angle as being conducive to reduce the pain intensity and improve the sitting comfort of an office worker.
"An ergonomic intervention : the effect of a chair and computer screen height adjustment on musculoskeletal pain and sitting comfort in office workers." Thesis, Stellenbosch : Stellenbosch University, 2015. http://hdl.handle.net/10019.1/96865.
Full textENGLISH ABSTRACT: Aims: To assess the effect of a vertical height adjustment of the chair and visual display unit (VDU) on work related upper quadrant musculoskeletal pain (WRUQMP) and sitting comfort in computer users. The upper quadrant refers to the occiput, cervical and upper thoracic spine including the clavicles and scapulae. Methods: An N=1 study was conducted using the ABC design whereby an ergonomic workstation adjustment, of VDU and chair height, was compared to the subject’s usual workstation settings. Pain and sitting comfort were measured using visual analogue scales (VAS). The subject was assessed over the four week phases as she performed her typical VDU work. The results were compiled and tabulated. Results: Both the mean and variance in pain intensity decreased after the workstation intervention. A deterioration was noted in sitting comfort. Conclusion: The vertical height adjustment of the chair and VDU may have contributed to a decrease in WRUQMP in this subject. This safe, economical workstation intervention may be a practical management option for the computer user suffering from WRUQMP. Further research into the measurement of comfort whilst sitting at a computer workstation, is recommended.

Full textLife Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a tool to analyze potential environmental impacts of a product's lifecycle. The aim of the study is to determine the most important processes and the most signif- icant potential environmental impact categories in the lifecycle of Kinnarps’ office chair 6110, and what potential improvements that can be made. The analysis also gives advice whether the tool LCA can be implemented in Kinnarps’ work with sustainability issues. The software SimaPro from PRé, data from Ecoinvent and company-specific data were used in the analysis. The main results show that the greatest impact can be found in the categories of ecotoxicity, eutrophica- tion and natural land transformation. As a result of its large mass and its high steel content the chair mechanism is the component in the office chair with the greatest impact. The wool uphol- stery fabric also has a major impact, which solely depends on the production of greasy wool. The impact is most likely larger in reality, since there is a lack of data regarding wool fabrics. What type of material that is chosen for different components turns out to be of great importance. LCA can be used as early as in the design phase to consult what material that gives the lowest impact. One advantage of establishing expertise in LCA within the company is that competence about LCA, as well as the product system, remains within Kinnarps. If Kinnarps choose to implement the tool within the company, there are also marketing benefits since they may present detailed knowledge of the environmental performance of their products.

Fuentes, Neva R. "Subordinate - supervisor communication| Junior Naval Officer feelings and obstacles when communicating up the chain of command." Thesis, Gonzaga University, 2013. http://pqdtopen.proquest.com/#viewpdf?dispub=1537048.
Full textResearch on subordinate-supervisor communication has revealed that employees in civilian organizations often stay silent about workplace problems. Comfort levels between subordinates and supervisors, was a major factor to this silence. Currently, there exists very little literature on upward communication from subordinate to supervisor amongst U.S. Naval Officers. The purpose of this thesis was to explore Junior Officer (JO) feelings and perceived obstacles about communicating up the chain of command with senior officers. Interview questions from a previous study (Milliken, Morrison, & Hewlin, 2003) on subordinate-supervisor communication were adapted for an electronic survey and used to explore JO feelings and perceived obstacles when communicating workplace problems with senior officers. Results answered the research question, revealing that while JOs are generally comfortable when communicating with their senior officers, the hierarchy does negatively affect their communication upward. Other major reasons to remain silent were attributed to feelings of futility and fear of being perceived negatively by others.

Full textLike most industrial companies, the Paul Hartmann company firstly deployed the Lean approach in factories. The implementation of Lean Office basic principles is decided through the Office Excellence method (Kugel, 2010) in the procurement support department. This method applied in some major German companies since 2002 has not been scientifically tested yet. Our research aims at testing this method with a unique case study approach and evaluating its completeness in comparison to the Lean Office’s concept base. A first contribution is made through a literature review for defining this Lean Office’s concept base. The five year-case study starts with a failure; the action-research moves to an intervention-research. After systematically challenging the case study learnings with the literature, our constructivist approach enables proposing an original Lean Office implementation method for practitioners’ use: Lean Office@SCM. It is a mixed approach made of a managerial part in parallel, and an operational one insequences

The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), the largest humanitarian agency in the world and the logistical arm of the United Nations, reached more than 113 million people in 80 countries in 2004 and delivered more than 50% of all the food aid in the world. In its endeavor of planning, designing, executing, monitoring and completing each and every one of the projects in which they are involved, all WFP business decisions and logistic steps are tracked down via an information technology tool called WINGS (WFP Information Network and Global System). This database is of extreme importance not only for the actions described above but also because it enables WFP Officers to learn from their past experience and improve their operations and efficiency in the future. This thesis aims to contribute to it. The first half of this study is addressed to briefly describing which business steps are in the WFP commodity pipeline and how the information flows from one another. It then moves into a deep statistical analysis in which lead-times from the moment the donor confirms its contribution to the moment food reaches the port of discharge are calculated.
(cont.) Some very interesting conclusions are derived from the analysis, such as which donors are more efficient in their efforts or which kinds of projects require less time and why. The second half of this thesis focuses on calculating some performance and inventory management measures that may help Country Officers. The aim here is to provide them with a wide study regarding performance of the final delivery to the implementing partners. Thus, lead-times from the moment the food has reached the port of discharge until it is delivered to the ending control point are calculated and are used to compute the measures mentioned above. This study had never been done before due to the existence of many uncertain and unique variables in the last part of the delivery system, e.g. transport infrastructure or security situation. Being aware of the limitations in the extrapolation of the results, however, the study performed here may well represent the starting point for a more customized one.

Full textIn this study we analyze handling offices experience of cooperation between two major welfare authorities, the social insurance office and the employment agency. With the help of seven qualitative interviews we investigate the opportunities and the hindrance for cooperation on the base of the new so called workfare and rehabilitation chain. Our theoretical frame takes its starting point in particularly the theory of street level bureaucracy, sectorisation within the public sector and different ideas about cooperation and domain conflict. To build a platform for the study, we also take part of topical science that is relevant for the study. The result showed that there are several common experiences of opportunities and hindrance of cooperation. All of the respondents brought up the fact that cooperation is something positive that, from the client perspective, elucidates the authorities’ responsibility. The majority of the respondents also experienced that the rehabilitation chain counteract passivity, which existed within the rehabilitation sphere.

Full textOCP SA is Morocco’s largest company. It is widely considered as owning some 60% of phosphate world reserves and is engaged in a process of Supply Chain control. Initially specialized in phosphate ore extraction, OCP SA has expanded, few years ago, its activities to include production of phosphate fertilizers using chemical processing. Under our research project, we focus on economic management of OCP’s Hybrid Supply chain (HSC). A HSC comprises multiple interrelated discrete and continuous processes together forming an integrated process from the supplier down to the end customer. In such a system, the production rationale includes both batch and flow models. Each discrete or continuous process seeks to capture part of the value created by the organizational collaboration performed either in internal supply chains made up of business unit or in external ones made up of legally independent entities. At first, we focused on the representation of physical functioning. So a simulation model that allows us to reproduce this functioning has been done from the process mapping we have done. The modeling / Simulation technique mobilized in the modeling framework of this type of supply chain is the Discrete Event Simulation (DES) which allows reproducing the operational functioning of the HSCBy working on the command, this implies a specific management control with a definition of a dynamic repository that will depend on the simulation model. This repository can be used by the interactive decision support system of management control in order to improve decision-making. Therefore, we must measure the economic impact, evaluate the decision-making alternatives and analyze the gaps. To do this, it is necessary to rely on a management accounting based on a second modeling / simulation in order to propose a cost model. This second simulation relies on a finer representation of the processes in a perspective of periodic financial reporting and must allow better appreciate the cost drivers. In this context, we have chosen the Activity Based Costing (ABC) method. In addition, in process mapping, each production step involving a process change and contributing to its discretization represents a triggering event highlighting a cost driver. We have thus processed each process at the level of the "acid" BU and at the level of the "fertilizer" BU to determine the inductors used to allocate the expenses. Our ABC model is therefore used to measure the value creation for each BUs of the HSC and it is able to take into account all the outputs and inputs of each processing entity.Later, our aim is to explore the integration of the notion of cost in the simulation model. The limit of the discrete event simulation is manifested in the level of information provided on costs. To assess production costs, and the influence of the diversity of production scenario, variable costs must be included. This can be provided by the combination of the discrete event simulation with the ABC method. So we have proposed an approach that will be implemented in the context of the OCP HSC. This approach will take into account the coupling between ABC and SED with all the translation rules to can, from the existing management control system that is associated with a functional unit cost centers, go to the BUs oriented industrial processes. It will also enable us to structure the physical and financial flow performance indicators in the form of a scorecard

Abstract Since free trade was launched in Japanese circulation market in 1990, the amount of import has increased significantly; the situation has provided opportunities for Taiwanese businesses to enter the Japanese market. Although the market barrier for the office chair manufacturing industry in Japan is minimal, there are a number of competitors from Southeast Asia and Mainland China, especially on the price war. Mainland China and Southeast Asian countries have the advantages on low cost with cheap labor. The approach has forced the office chair manufacturers in Taiwan shifting the production section outside of Taiwan to lower cost, and placing emphasis on marketing and R&D to increase manufacture products value. In the strategy formulation process, the establishment of competitive advantages requires integration of changes in the external environment, building core competence, and careful review of every strategic point. The results of this study are as follow: 1. Differentiate the products and develop owned marketing channels: many manufacturers have joined to establish retail store in order to increase the profits that were taken away from the wholesalers and to improve the reputation of owned-brand. 2. The implementation of consumer psychology into design and marketing: the understanding of customer satisfaction is the key to establish corporate image and product marketing also inspire creative ideas to products. 3. Increasing attention paid to green design and human factor engineering in design: in fits the streamline form demanded by the Japanese market, apply environmental materials and human factor engineering for value-added and meeting consumers’ demand. In order for the office chair manufacturing industry in Taiwan to compete with Mainland China and Southeast Asian countries, technology, design, understanding of the local culture, market information research, and product differentiation are the keys. Only when you focus on the marketing channels, approaching the market, and understanding the marketing could be help the manufacturers gain a competitive age. The tendency of globalization increases competition among companies and force regional businesses to expand globally. The idea of entrepreneurship provides businesses the ability to create new design that meets consumer demand and reduce production cycle time. During the stage of product development, careful monitoring reduces the time required of the overall and process development cycle, thus the R&D teams perform efficiently. The purpose of this research is to create new product developing process based on integrating Quality Function Deployment and Design Structure Matrix. Study found association of the two methods. Further study of its correlation or dependence, and sequential or interrelation suggest, that the original methods are conflicted when applying on the Hows vs. Hows of House of Quality, and resulting differently in practical use. Thus, alternatively create “Dual Hows vs. Hows,” a modification of the original Hows vs. Hows of House of Quality, by adapting two directional sequential and interrelation as assessment. The result suggests alternatively “Dual Hows vs. Hows” outperform the original. This research also includes strength parameters as an assessment in addition to the House of Quality of Quality Function Deployment. By conducting assessment based on correlation between the Design Structure Matrix and strength parameters, apply industry-based product development process as a guideline to the result. The purposes of the assessment above are (a) effectively improve the fact that unable to determine the relationship between strength parameter when applying Design Structure Matrix to determine the correlation between two tasks, in addition to the original Hows vs. Hows of House of Quality unable to estimate the deep correlation; (b) provide newly standardized operating procedure effectively reduce time required for product development, and served as a guideline for the product manufactures to modify for their specific needs.

It is critical for company to come up with new product quick in this everchanging market. The small and medium enterprises in Taiwan usually focus on manufacturing and don’t invest much in resreach and development of new products. It is necessary to implement a systemeatic approach to help companies to quickly generate innovative products within limited resources. In this research, Deisgn for Six Sigma (DFSS) and TRIZ methodology is adopted to help an ergonomic office chair manufacturer to rapidly find the direction of next generation product. In this study, all steps of DFSS, i.e., DMADV (Define, Measure, Analyze, Design, Verify), are used to help the company to generate new generation product. In the definition (Define) phase, questionnaires are used to collect customer voices and expectations of ergonomic chairs. The result shows that after a long period of sitting, the cushion temperature increases, which causes diccomfort. In the measure (Measure) stage, through Kano and QFD tools, the customer voices are transferred into product design parameters. The airtight material of cushion is the major reason that cause discomfort of users. In the analysis (Analyze) stage, TRIZ methodology is used to reinforce the inadequacy of DFSS. By using TRIZ methods, this research is able to solve the contraditions and find a fine solution in knowledge database, the Ranque Effect, to break the airtight and supportive material contradition. Finally, in the design (Design) stage, through the experimental design, this study is able to identify key factors, allowing to optimize the design of ergonomic office chair. Then a pilot run is established in the verification (Verify) stage to validate the feasibility of proposed idea.

This research focuses on the multi-purpose form design of the seat surface and simplification of the functions and the related mechanism of the ergonomic chair. In the research, seat surface emphasizes the concept of multi-purpose design. As to manufacturers of office chairs, cost is a major factor to keep that products to keep the competitiveness in market. In order to increase the diversity of the products and reduce development costs for manufacturers, the multipurpose form design of the seat surface will be designed with combination style and fitted to different chair. Further, mechanism design helps to improve the usability of ergonomic chairs by the human-centered design method. Because the traditional ergonomic chair has so many functions, such as adjustable seat height, adjustable seat back tilt/lock, the number of operation lever will correspondingly increases. Different kinds of operation modes may bring confusion. Thus people couldn’t find out the right lever and it will increase error rate and user’s frustration when seating. This research will design a new mechanism for those defects of the traditional ergonomic chairs, According to the movement compatibility relationship between lever and movement direction, one lever with multi-functions is design and developed. This new design will increase the intuition on usage, the convenience of operation and competitiveness of the ergonomic chair industry in Taiwan.

IT office-aided assets (ex. PC, Telephone, etc.) are required tools for most office workers in an enterprise. The assets distributing process from ordering to dispatching the composite office-aided assets for new employees itself is a supply chain within a company. In this article, the IT office-aided supply chain processing efficiency is obviously affected by the accurate information processing in an open sytem. This study aims to reduce labor costs, increase process efficiency, and resolve operational issues in the supply chain, by reengineering the process and integrating the multi-sites and multi-roles/tasks into a multi-agent-based collaborative cloud application service. The result shows that the empirical data supports the goals in twofold/two aspects: the process time is reduced, and thus the goal of issuing the IT office-aided composites at an early time is also achieved. Additional contributions of this study include converting batch processing of centralized management into parallel information processing by an agent-based collaborative platform and a simplified interface allowing users to get the picture of the entire flow in a snap shot with the help of a simplified interface. Meanwhile, agent-based cloud utilization for rapid and abundant distribution can be adopted in the large-scale dynamic information sharing environment, such as company subsidiaries with similar processes, large-scale emergent gatherings in the government, military or the distribution of necessities to refugees in a disaster.

Nowadays, many people have to sit on office chair for a long time in their office hours. Because of inappropriate using of office chairs, they often got injuries and became inefficient in work. Although many designers created some devises for adjusting office chairs to fit users in different situations, these problems still existed. That spurs the researcher to explore the usability of office chairs. In order to understand the problems of operation which users faced and the mental models of using office chair, the researcher studied related documents, observed and interviewed 6 users, and questionnaired 41 users and 2 office furniture companies. Besides, the researcher invited 8 users to take the usability test of 2 types of office chairs and recorded how they use and what they think about the chairs. Based on the feedback of the test, the researcher discussed individually with 3 designers, 4 purchasers, and 2 mechanism firms. After that, the researcher synthesized all these researches and records to get findings and conclusions. User’s needs in usability are always ignored. In Taiwan, many office chair producers make their products in assembley way. Besides, most management would rather pay more budgets on the decoration of their offices than purchasing better office chairs for their employees. Even though they want to do so, they do not have proper information for reference. Therefore, users can only accept this condition. They sit on whatever they can sit, suffer the pain of shoulder and waist, and keep on being unaware of the functions of their office chairs. Consequently, users prepare cushions and mats to help themselves. However, it is not easy for an idealistic designer to satisfy every requirement in many limits. Based on the mental models promoted by Norman and joined with Dr. Huang’s researches about users and purchaser’s models, the researcher drew up the user’s models of office chairs. According to the models, the researcher made a study of users then established a standard for purchasers to evaluate the office chairs they are purchasing, for designers to understand what users need and improve their products, and for users to figure out easily the functions of their office chairs so that they can get proper protection and work joyfully.

Full textThe public sector is faced with increased demands for public goods and services from communities. Public institutions have limited resources which should be managed effectively for effective and efficient service delivery. The South African government initiated and implemented financial management reforms since 1994 with the aim of improving public service delivery. The Public Finance Management Act, 1999(Act 1 of 1999) was promulgated to regulate financial management. The object of Public Finance Management Act is to secure transparency, accountability and sound management of revenue, expenditure, assets and liabilities of the public sector. The aim of the Public Finance Management Act is to enable public sector managers to manage and be more accountable with the purpose of eliminating waste and corruption in the use of public resources. A Supply Chain Management system was introduced by the South African government in 2003 to ensure effective procurement and improve financial management in the public sector. The introduction of Supply Chain Management led to procurement reforms which resulted in government decentralising and delegating authority for procurement to public institutions. Supply Chain Management forms an integral part of financial management. The process integrates general financial practices with budgeting, procurement and asset management. Supply Chain Management is currently not correctly implemented by some public institutions and this lead to irregular, fruitless and wasteful expenditure. Accounting officers should recognise the importance of Supply Chain Management in order to ensure effective procurement, sound financial management and improve service delivery. The study highlights the important of implementing Supply Chain Management in an institution. The implementation of adequate Supply Chain Management practices will promote efficiency, effectiveness, transparency, openness, accountability and fairness in procurement and improve ethical conduct of officials.

As opposed to the mainstream music market, choirs in Taiwan has appeared to be a minority. Without the support of management companies, choirs are in lack of channels of publicity and media exposure. The size of the audience of the choirs is never on par with that of pop star concerts. Whereas the box office could be crucial for the survival of the choirs, the sustained growth of the choirs is a matter of popularization and heritage for music and culture at large. Therefore, this thesis explores how choirs in Taiwan stand out and demonstrate their uniqueness. This thesis interviews four representative choirs registered with the Bureau of Cultural Affairs, Kaohsiung City, understands their running and performance arrangements, analyzes the obstacles they encounter in terms of practicing, performing and running, and discusses the on-site operations of these choirs. By conducting questionnaire surveys of the members of the above-mentioned choirs and tabulating the statistics, this thesis inducts from the results and uses the professional degrees of the constituent members of the choirs as the key point. Based on this, we analyze the strengths, weaknesses and attributes of the choirs, and discusses how the professional degrees of choir members reflect on the box office. Based on the results of the interviews conducted, this thesis depicts and analyzes the professional degrees of choir member. In hope of helping facilitate feasible and concrete operating and training strategies for registered or unregistered choirs, this thesis attempts to offer policy suggestions for choir members, choir managers, and governmental institutions. In inferring on the cultivation of choir members’ basic quality and professional degrees and their influences on the box office, it is our hope that an effective training and operating model of the choirs could be proposed in the future.

This study discusses the behavior of players from online to offline social networking status in the online game environment. Online games consist several activists who are different from BBS and chat rooms. The purpose of BBS and chat room is used for social networking. However, the online game players are interested in game first and later socializing with other unfamiliar players. On the other hand, online games in social communities also different form social networking sites such as Facebook or Twitter. Social networking sites allow users to have a group of real world friends and form the community on the Internet. Nevertheless, online game may directly form an online community in the game and later have certain opportunities to meet in the real world. That is, this study will analyze players’ features by Markov chain to explore what changes may cause the status from online to offline social networking status. According to literature of game motivation, this research attempts to link the concept of ERG theory to players’ behavior. We assume online game has a motive as the general behavior. We also construct a taxonomy based on players’ behavior. This research collected 200 data through online questionnaire. In accordance with the subject''s answer, we match each participant to transform a Markov chain matrix. In this study, the players may have main activities include socialization, teamwork, competition, and mechanics. We analyze the collect data based on Markov chain concept and estate the transition matrix. To understand the change in the probability of transition matrix of each category and to discover what impact online to offline behavior. Four activities may encourage players to link online to offline social networking, which are socialization, teamwork, competition, and mechanics. The reason for players’ leaving tendency might because of feeling alone or demanding to play with families or friends. In the past, the social aspect of online gaming can be divided into two parts. The first part discusses the motivation to enter the game, resulting in the pursuit of social players on the Internet. The second part is to observe the situation generated between players social patterns and the offline social status. This research connects online and offline concepts of players’ behavior of games and explores the actions can be taken to enable players to move to offline social status. Finally, this study also connects players’ behavior with social needs and help players realize own social situations in practice.

In recent years, the use of information technology combined with IoT applications to improve management efficiency has become more and more mainstream, and its main function is to use the rapid results of information collection, processing, service planning and optimization. Among them, smart logistics is an information management service that integrates information technology in logistics, transportation, warehousing, packaging, loading and unloading, distribution processing, distribution and other aspects. Its overall structure is perceived by the system. Comprehensive analysis, timely processing and self-adjustment functions to achieve the intelligent functions of logistics planning, operation and control, and the overall effectiveness of the innovation system. However, there are few practical researches on end-to-end transport storage services and self-management. How to effectively implement the service operation mode, actual value chain integration and management evaluation methods is an important topic worthy of in-depth analysis. Therefore, this study attempts to analyze the function of service operation decision optimization through a value chain service value-added architecture and evaluation model. The main research methods are divided into three stages. Firstly, by analyzing the relevant activities and value-added models in the enterprise value chain, the specific action plan and feasible evaluation model basis are used. Secondly, the interview method of Defifa experts is used. The project collects practical experience to explore the feasibility, rationality and future development of the service value chain activities. Finally, it uses the current postal i-mail (iBox) automated logistics service case of Chunghwa Post to conduct practical operation analysis. The results of the study are as follows (1)Logistics information integration is the central nerve for theeffective management of the overall operation of the intelligent logistics system. It must be integrated into the logistics system operation mode for customer service demand.
