With the implementation of platesetters in the offset printing plate making process, imaging of the printing plate became more stable and ensured increase of the printing plate quality. But as the chemical processing of the printing plates still highly influences the plate making process and the graphic reproduction workflow, development of printing plates that do not require chemical processing for offset printing technique has been one of the top interests in graphic technology in the last few years. Therefore, improving the vibration performance of the printing press and designing the structure of anti-vibration and noise reduction to improve the quality and speed of printing presses is an important issue in the press product development. This paper proposes some reasons and solution ideas of vibration on printing parts in ordinary offset printing

Abstract:
The present paper presents a comparative analysis of two printing methods, namely: offset printing and digital printing. Specifically, the analysis involves identifying the constructive solutions of the printing machines, determining the technological phases involved in printing the same type of product - magazine, the length of time needed to make them as well as aspects regarding the quality of the print (optical density, dots gain, colors). The study was carried out on the MAN Roland 704 offset printing machine and the Ricoh Pro C9210 digital printing machine. This paper highlights technolo

Print mottle is a serious and common uneven printing defect that occurs when printing coated paper by the offset multicolor printing process. It is characterized by a non-uniform appearance in terms of brightness, gloss, or color density that appears mostly in solid printed areas. Back-trap print mottle and water-interference print mottle occur when the quality of the paper substrate, especially the coating layer quality, is not satisfactory. To cope with this quality problem of coated papers, the understanding of the offset printing process, the requirements of coated-paper quality, and the r

This study aims to investigate the feasibility of using paper made from eco-friendly recycled and non-woody plants in graphic technology, particularly in offset printing. Instead of changing the composition or modifying the surface properties of the paper, the focus was on enhancing the print quality by modifying the printing ink. By modifying the printing inks, the quality of the prints on recycled and non-woody paper can be optimized, which in turn reduces the need for paper made from primary fibers. This approach can expand the use of alternative materials in graphic technology and design.
