In Ogba culture, most properties are held as a common estate. Though, by dint of hard work, individuals and groups may acquire personal property through purchase or bequest. Among the people, there is a distinction between mine, ours and theirs. Similarly, there is a strict distinction in explaining concepts such as for me, for them and for us. On this premise, individuals, groups and the wider society feel morally bound and might be ready to go to any length to protect what is theirs. This paper examines the Ogba concept of restructuring and resource control. The study identifies and explains

In Ogbu's writing about the oppositional culture hypothesis, he argued that Black students frame their relationship to schooling through the lens of their historic marginalization in the United States. This research work was carried out to evaluate the quality of water from two spring sources in Amurri Community in Enugu State, Southeastern Nigeria. Water samples were obtained from Umu and Ogba springs in dry and rainy seasons, and analysis carried out to estimate physico-chemical and bacteriological indices using standard procedures. Analytical results for both seasons indicated that values for pH, total hardness and total dissolved solids were within World Health Organization (WHO) limits and Nigerian Standard for Drinking Water Quality (NSDWQ) recommendations. We comment on the importance of the novel tablet-based screening tool for cognitive decline recently studied in Nigeria by Ogbuagu et al. TabCAT-BHA was administered on an iPad in urban and rural settings and was found to be a sensitive and culturally appropriate tool for assessing cognitive function and impairment. With accuracy, portability, speed, and ease of use, this study shows that such tests, computerized or online, have the potential to improve the screening of cognitive decline in diverse countries such as Nigeria, to facilitate early treatment and improved care and quality of life.
