Most of enterprises use office’s software to assist their job so that they can work more efficiently, especially in the process of office automation. Although office’s software brings a lot of advantages for computer users, it has potential danger that is macro virus. Recently, most of computers have being invaded by the way of E-mail. It usually makes enormous damage for individual or other enterprises. Hence it is worthy to pay attention in the issue of information security, it would make computers have being no of invasion. Because of OpenOffice belongs office’s software, its potential danger is the function of executing macro, by which not only has the capability to call other application programs in the operation system, like open、edit and store files, but it can execute by some programming. First of all this study analyzes the OOOKiller macro virus which infects computers by P2P(Point to Point), and farther the result of this study had developed OOOKiller_PLUS which includes the function of automatic forwarding mail and randomly matches the accounts of E-mail by macro virus; at the same time, the macro virus will update the E-mail list so that there are different accounts receiving the mail. Another aspect, this study also brings up the concept that how we can use mail server of sendmail to filter mail and then prevent the operation system from macro virus. This study provides some advices about information security. At first, don’t execute unknown documents. Second, any organization must educate their staff a general idea of information security and policy. And last, this study wishes that every computer user can understand importance of information security and reduce damage of organization.

Abstract Digital divide has been regarded as one of the largest obstacles to put information technology into teaching practice. This study attempts to build a support system for the provision of easy to access and powerful environment to assist the development and design of digital teaching material. Based on the structural frame of MathPS, this paper built the system platform of OpenOffice to take advantage of the features of its Presentation and designed a drawing support system plug-in Presentation to set up a math teaching oriented working environment. This environment centers on geometric theory and drawing positioning concept attempting to achieve the aim of “fuzzy operation and precise positioning.” The subjects in process include dot, line, dimension and relevant math drawing objects. System structure covers four units::Viewer Properties, the Operation of Geometer, Basic Composition and Complicated Composition of Structure, and Structure of Converter. After the primary testing, the drawing support system developed by the Graduate is able to be used as the working platform of teachers and students for further geometric learning and visual designs. This indicates that this system is able to reduce the difficulty of teaching material making as well as saving more time and technical costs to close the digital divide. It is also believed that this system is also beneficial for the promotion of the visualization of digital contents.

To reconcile the teaching with strategy and materials and control the other variables that could affect learning, developed lessons for teaching OpenOffice Writer and Microsoft Word as well as Impress and PowerPoint to 3rd graders were based on generic instructional design model ADDIE. Based on the instructional designs, the software instructions were given to 55 volunteer 3rd graders. The students were divided into two groups according to a quasi-experimental design. One group consisted of 28 students received 10 hours of Word and 10 hours of PowerPoint instructions, while the other group consisted of 27 students received 10 hours of Writer and 10 hours of Impress instructions. The experimental instruction of each group was done for a period of one week. The results of this study are as the following: 1) There were no significances of learning effects between Writer and Word groups; 2) The learning effects between Writer and Word groups had no significant differences across gender; 3) There was positive transfer of learning between the two word processing software; 4) The group using PowerPoint performed significantly better than the group using Impress; 5) No significant differences were found in students learning with PowerPoint across gender, but male students performed significantly better than female students in learning with Impress; 6) There was positive transfer of learning from Impress to PowerPoint, but there was negative transfer of learning from PowerPoint to Impress. It was suggested that the interface design of PowerPoint is more suitable to beginners than the interface design of Impress.

In recent years, the Taiwanese government actively promoting the free software, the establishment of a free software development to promote the Legislative Yuan from 2002 Technology and Information Committee, under the Accessibility software development environment, enhance industrial competitiveness and the strength of its own. To the 2003 conference was held to promote free software, set the resolution "Free Software Steering Group", while China's Ministry of Finance and taxation data center since 2010 due to financial constraints imported free software Open Office, although the import process of ups and downs, but for the next hundred thirty provincial treasury ten million yuan of software licensing fees, and will become the first in the central part of the free software OpenOffice word processing import of demonstration authority. Due to rising awareness of intellectual property rights in recent years, commercial software Alliance (BSA) units from time to time with the prosecutors in Taiwan intensive inspection, and the opening mechanism for employees to report anonymously, making a lot of attention to the legitimacy of the enterprise for software, some companies therefore switch to free software. Therefore, this study will apply GM (0, N) model analysis investigate the "subjective norms and policies", "reduce costs", "management and maintenance", "education and training and learning", "external force majeure" and "internal conversion disorder "factor for enterprises import of factors affect the free OpenOffice software. In addition to expected results of this study can be imported free software OpenOffice corporate reference, but in academic research can also contribute degrees.

Recent year, promotion of Taiwan at digital government has many breakthrough progresses. The exchange of the digital document is a major objective of e-Taiwan plan. The standard of the digital documents is the regulation by which each document must be converted into the format in XML (eXtensible Markup Language) before transferring. In order to read the documents offline, they are also redefined into the standard of portable files. OpenOffice stores with the format in XML, this XML format can also be edited, created, viewed and printed in most of the portable files. Because of its characteristic in low cost and open source codeings, it’s the best choice of digital documents. Applications will be developed safely when there are many users adopting the softwares. The most serious problem of the Office software is “Macro Virus”. This study analyzes the possibility of certain problems including the macro virus design, operation model, and the corresponding recovering mechanism of Openoffice. The results of this study had developed the first Openoffice’s macro virus called “OOOKiller” and bring up its recovering program called “OOOSaver”. We also analyze the characteristics of OOOKiller and the integration between OOOSaver and the exchanging platform for digital documents. At last, the research model we inferred the possibility of OpenOffice Macro Virus can be a reference method to check the safety of applications. We hope that this work can be used to enhance safety mechanism of applications that offer macro function and raise the safety of documents.

In this study, computer users of an air-force unit were surveyed to explore factors influencing the intention of using free software Openoffice in an organization with bureaucratic in nature. Results of the study showed that “subjective norm” was the most influencing factor, followed by “attitude” and “perceived usefulness” respectively, while no significant impact was found for “perceived behavioral control” on “behavior intention” of using free software Openoffice. The “ease of use” was found to affect both “attitude” and “perceived usefulness” significantly. In addition, the indirect effect of “ease of use” on “behavior intention” was even higher than direct effect of other factors. The study also found that more than half of the subjects not using Openoffice in their workplace. The coexistence of free software and commercial software, and no strictly enforcement from the management level may be the reason to attribute to. It was also speculated that the bureaucratic nature of military units induce “subjective norm” to be the most influencing factor on “behavior intention” of using Openoffice. The results of this study may provide useful information for government agencies and organizations with similar characteristics in promotion of using free software.
