Abstract:
This study was inspired by recent successful applications of evolutionary computation to the problem of finding terms to represent arbitrarily given operations on a primal groupoid. Evolution requires that small changes in a term result in small changes in the associated term operation. We prove a theorem giving two readily testable conditions under which a groupoid must have this continuity property, and offer evidence that most primal groupoids satisfy these conditions.

Summary We interoduce a new characterization of algebras of normal forms of term rewriting systems [35] as algerbras of term free in itself (any function from free generators into the algebra generates endomorphism of the algebra). Introduced algebras are free in classes of algebras satisfying some sets of equalities. Their universes are subsets of all terms and the denotations of operation symbols are partially identical with the operations of construction of terms. These algebras are compiler algebras requiring some equalities of terms, e.g., associativity of addition.

Nanašal se je na vse vrste interakcij in stikov med civilnimi organizacijami ter vojsko. Abstract:
An optimized AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) implementation of Galois Counter Mode of operation (GCM) on low-end microcontrollers is presented in this paper. Two optimization methods are applied to proposed implementations. First, the AES counter (CTR) mode of operation is speed-optimized and ensures constant timing. The main idea is replacing expensive AES operations, including AddRound Key, SubBytes, ShiftRows, and MixColumns, into simple look-up table access. Unlike previous works, the look-up table does not require look-up table updates during the entire encryption life-cycle. Second, t

Abstract:
One of the surgical methods for treating aortic valve pathology is the Ross operation, which was proposed by the British cardiac surgeon D. Ross in 1967. Numerous studies have shown excellent long-term outcomes of this operation. However, in some patients, pulmonary autograft dilatation may occur in the long term. To avoid this complication, technical modifications of this procedure have been proposed. A literature review on modified Ross operation as a prevention of pulmonary autograft dilatation is presented.

In the 2019 C38 Deuterium-Deuterium campaign at JET several different ITER-relevant materials and dosimetry foils were irradiated in a specially designed long-term irradiation station located inside the vacuum vessel with the purpose of testing the activation of ITER materials by fusion neutrons. The samples were exposed to a neutron fluence of 1.9E14 n/cm2 during JET discharges performed in the experimental campaign over a period of 5 months. Gamma ray spectroscopy measurements were performed on irradiated samples to determine the activation of different long-lived isotopes in the samples. Mo

Background Open trigonoplasty antireflux operation has been associated with promising results. However, its success in controlling reflux has not been evaluated in the long term. Methods All patients who underwent trigonoplasty for vesicoureteral reflux by one surgeon from 2004 to 2014 were included. Pre-Operative evaluations included direct radionuclide cystography (DRNC) or voiding cystourethrography, urine analysis and culture and abdominal sonography. Urodynamic study and cystoscopy was performed in selected patients. Trigonoplasty was done by a modified Gil-Verent method. The latest avail
