Ferns of Ophioglossaceae and Psilotaceae families can be found in the "Eka Karya" Botanical Garden, Bali as a collection or naturally growing in the botanical garden and those families are taxonomically classified as primitive ferns. The morphological characteristics of the family of Ophioglossaceae and Psilotaceae or even other types of ferns can be known through the morphological characteristics of the spores. This study aimed to characterize the spore morphology of the Ophioglossaceae and Psilotaceae fern of The "Eka Karya" Botanical Garden. Observation of the morphological characteristics

Abstract:
This paper describes the occurrence of periderm in three genera, Botrychium Swartz., Helminthostachys Kaulfuss, and Ophioglossum Linn. under field conditions. Not all plants of an area belonging to the same or different species possess it. Based on population survey it is suggested that production of functional cork cambium (phellogen), a feature unlike Fillicenae may be an inherited trait.

Abstract:
Abstract The paper considers current ranges, population dynamics, habitats, threats and conservation measures of Ophioglossaceae of the Ukrainian flora. Only one specimen of Botrychium simplex was discovered in herbarium at the begining of the 19th century. Taxonomical status of Ophioglossum azoricum in Ukraine needs additional studies. Other species of the family remain rare in Ukraine; there are only two reliable current localities of B. virginianum, and seven of B. matricariifolium. The number of B. multifidum, B. lunaria and Ophioglossum vulgatum localities have been decreasing since 1980
