Abstract:
The paper discusses the efficiency of a vibration isolation system made of the optical table and two negative-stiffness tables and considers excitation referring to harmonic and nonharmonic methods in the frequency range of 0,2–110 Hz. The article reviews the types and sources of vibrations and types of vibration isolation systems, including those of negative-stiffness. The paper also presents the methodology of experimental tests and proposes research on vibration transmissibility. A composite system consisting of two vibration isolation table having negative stiffness and an air table has been tested. The results and conclusions of experimental analysis are suggested at the end of the article. Santrauka Nagrinėjama vibroizoliacinės sistemos, sudarytos iš optinio stalo ir dviejų neigiamo standumo staliukų, efektyvumas žadinant harmoniniu ir neharmoniniais būdais 0,2–110 Hz diapazone. Aprašyta eksperimentinių tyrimų atlikimo metodika ir atlikti virpesių perduodamumo tyrimai. Ištirta sudėtinė sistema, sudaryta iš dviejų neigiamo standumo virpesių izoliavimo staliukų ir optinio stalo. Nustatytos vibracijų slopinimo charakteristikos. Pateikti eksperimentų metu gauti rezultatai ir išvados.

Abstract:
An optical properties of the flexographic prints on the shrink sleeve has been experimentally investigated. Two main materials of shrink sleeve: PVC and PET were used for the research. Films were printed using UV flexographic inks. The color changes arised during shrinking of the films were analysed. Investigations were done using CMYK and PANTONE color matching systems. Color characteristics CIE L*a*b* and color difference DE at different shrink level of the film was estimated. It was found that colors become darker during the shrinking of the film. In the case of rasterize image it is related to the deformation of the raster dots, decrease of the spaces between the raster dots and other factors. The biggest changes in the CMYK color system was determined in the Yellow color, while in the tested PANTONE color system – in the blue (P 290) color. The smallest changes in the CMYK color system was determined in the Cyan color, while in the PANTONE color system – in the white color. Eksperimentiškai ištirtos fleksografiniu spaudos būdu atspausdintų atspaudų ant susitraukiančių plėvelių optinės savybės. Tyrimui naudotos dvi pagrindinės susitraukiančioms plėvelėms naudojamos medžiagos: PVC ir PET, užspausdintos ultravioletiniais (UV) dažais. Išnagrinėti spalviniai pokyčiai, atsirandantys plėvelei besitraukiant. Tyrimai atlikti su CMYK ir PANTONE sistemų spalvomis. Nustatytos spalvinės charakteristikos CIE L*a*b* ir spalvų skirtumas DE, plėvelei susitraukiant skirtingai. Nustatyta, kad, plėvelėms besitraukiant, spalvos tamsėja. Rastruotuose vaizduose tai susiję su rastrinių taškelių deformacija, tarpų tarp rastrinių taškelių sumažėjimu ir kitais veiksniais. Didžiausi spalviniai pokyčiai CMYK spalvinėje sistemoje nustatyti Yellow (geltonoje) spalvoje, o tarp tirtų PANTONE sistemos spalvų – mėlynoje (P 290) spalvoje, mažiausi pokyčiai CMYK sistemoje nustatyti Cyan spalvoje, o PANTONE sistemoje – baltoje spalvoje.

Abstract:
Electric arc furnace (EAF) steel slag, generated from carbon steel production process, is the most interesting from the asphalt technology point of view. This paper aims to explore the feasibility of utilizing steel slag as aggregates in asphalt mixtures. Characterization of EAF slag was carried out through examination of its physical and chemical properties with special emphasis on chemical and structural characteristics. Optical Microscopy (OM), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive Spectrometry (EDS) and γ-spectrometric analysis were employed to study the texture, morphology and composition of steel slag. Volume properties of steel slag were also evaluated as compared to those of natural aggregates. For this purpose the specimens of EAF slag were taken from the regular production processes in CMC Sisak, Croatia, Steel mill. The results which were obtained by testing geometric, physicalmechanic properties, as well as the properties of duration on the specimen of electric furnace steel slag of CMC Sisak, when compared to steel slag properties of other steel producers (Acroni, Jesenice, Slovenia and Štore Steel, Štore, Slovenia) and with properties of natural aggregates, have satisfied the conditions for manufacturing mixtures of the tested steel slag and natural stone, which can be used in asphalt production. In comparison to the natural aggregates, which are used in asphalt mixtures on highways and roads with heavy traffic, the examined steel slag has equally good physical and mechanical properties, while it is significantly better when it comes to resistance to polishing. Special attention has been given to the free CaO and free MgO, which can cause volume instability, thus limiting the use of steel slag in road construction. Santrauka Nagrinėjamos plieno šlako panaudojimo asfalto mišiniui gaminti galimybės. Šis šlakas susidaro elektros lanko krosnyje (ELK) anglies plieno gamybos procese. Nagrinėjamos fizikinės bei cheminės šlako savybės, pateikiamos cheminės ir struktūrines charakteristikos. Plieno šlako tekstūra, morfologija ir sudėtis nustatyta taikant optinę mikroskopiją (OM), rentgeno spindulių difrakciją (RSD), skenuojančiąją elektroninę mikroskopiją (SEM), energijos dispersinę spektrometriją (EDS) bei spektrometrinę analizę. ELK šlako mėginiai buvo paimti iš plieno gamyklos CMC Sisak, Kroatijoje. Šių mėginių geometrinės, fizikinės ir mechaninės bei patvarumo savybės buvo lyginamos su kitų šlakų (Acroni, Jesenice, Slovenija ir Store steel, Štore, Slovėnija) ir natūralių agregatų savybėmis. Gauti rezultatai patvirtino tirto plieno šlako bei natūralaus akmens panaudojimo gaminant asfaltą galimybes. Natūralūs agregatai, naudojami asfalto mišiniuose tiesiant greitkelius ir intensyvaus eismo kelius, bei tiriamas plieno šlakas turi panašių gerų fizikinių bei mechaninių savybių, tačiau ELK šlakas yra atsparesnis gludinimui. Daug dėmesio buvo skirta laisviesiems CaO ir MgO, lemiantiems medžiagos nepatvarumą. Šie oksidai yra pagrindinis veiksnys, ribojantis plieno šlako naudojimą asfaltui gaminti. Резюме В статье ставилась цель исследовать возможности применения стальных шлаков, образующихся в процессе производства стали в дуговой сталеплавильной печи (ДСП), для производства асфальтовой смеси. Исследовались физические и химические свойства шлака из ДСП. Текстура, морфология и состав стального шлака определялись с использованием оптической микроскопии, дифракции рентгеновских лучей, электронной микроскопии, энергодисперсной спектрометрии и γ-спектрометрического анализа. Образцы шлака из ДСП были взяты на заводе по производству стали в Хорватии. Геометрические, физико-механические и прочностные свойства образцов сравнивались со свойствами других шлаков (из Словении) и с натуральными материалами. Полученные результаты подтвердили возможность применения шлака исследованной стали и натурального камня для производства асфальтовой смеси. Натуральные материалы, применяемые в асфальтовых смесях при строительстве магистралей и дорог с интенсивным движением, и исследованный стальной шлак обладают приблизительно одинаковыми хорошими физико-механическими свойствами, однако шлак из ДСП более устойчив при шлифовании. При анализе большое внимание также уделялось свободным CaO и MgO, вызывающим нестабильность материала. Эти оксиды являются основным фактором, лимитирующим применение стального шлака при производстве асфальта.

Abstract:
Solar energy conversion, miniaturization of semiconductor devices and associated lifetime, reliability and efficiency of devices are the basic premise of this work. This work is focused on the study of optoelectronic devices especially solar cells and its nondestructive diagnostic. Solar cells are advantageous for study mainly because the pn junction is located near the surface and contains a lot of inhomogeneities. It has been difficult until recently to investigate their local physical (electrical and optical) parameters due to the size of inhomogeneities. Behavior of inhomogeneities can be well understood with knowledge of its local properties. Establishment of measurement workplace, that satisfies requirements for measurement of local emission and optically induced current measurement, allows us detection and localization of inhomogeneities with spatial resolution more or less 100 nm. The core of thesis is characterization of imperfection using nondestructive techniques in the macroscopic region but primarily in microscopic region using scanning probe microscopy. Integral parts of the work are characterization techniques for photoelectrical devices, microscopic techniques and data processing. Scanning near-field optical microscope is used for the purpose of microscopic characterization such as topography, local optical, photoelectrical and electrooptical properties of structures in high spatial resolution. Locally induced current technique, current voltage characteristics, emission from reversed bias pn junction measurement including its thermal dependence are used for samples investigation in macroscopical region. It is possible to localize defects and structure inhomogeneity using mentioned techniques. Localised defects are consequently analyzed for composition and measured using electron microscopy. Specific outputs of work are classification of photoelectric devices defects and specification of nondestructive characterization techniques used for defect detection. Experimental characterization techniques are described together with defects measurement procedures. The key output is the catalog of serious defects which was detected. Particular defects of samples are shown including describe of its properties and physical meaning.

Abstract:
This thesis is focused on the photochromic molecule of spiropyran, which changes its structure as well as physical and chemical properties after UV irradiation. These changes are reversible, the molecule thermally restore its initial structure. For the study, the molecule SP1 with the systematic name 1',3'-dihydro-1',3',3'-trimethyl-6-nitrospiro[2H-1-benzopyran-2,2'-(2H)-indole] was used. This molecule was incorporated within polymers PVK, Tg PPV, PCBTDPP and PCDTBT and the method of UV-VIS spectroscopy was used to observe the photochromic activity within these matrices. The influence of matrices to the ability to undergo UV induced photochromic conversion as well as to the reverse conversion to the initial structure induced by heat was monitored. Furthermore, the influence of spiropyran to the electrical properties of individual matrices was studied. The effect of photochromic conversion to both, the mobility of charge carriers and to the photogeneration was observed. For this purpose, the method of current-voltage measurement was used.

In background research are described the most important parameters of wheel suspension and devices for measuring these parameters. Practical part is concerned with progression of measurement, results and with determination coordinates of kinematic points. These points are made 3D model of forward and backward suspension wheels. This model helps to make kinematic characteristics and its progression due to attitude of wheel. In last part is described possibility to utilizing of optical scanner ATOS to common measurement of geometry wheels.

This work deals with questions of space assembling of several optics beams. There are mentioned the base features and values of space distribution of beam intensity in laser beam. The forms of diffusion of space localized light that is described by beam optics. There is a characterization of Gaussian beam, and diffraction of several beams. There is mentioned a simulation an assembling of two and more beams. It contains model of assembling incoherent beams. The work also includes suggestion of final layout of laser beams, which form optical transmitter with radiating characteristics, resistant to defects evoked by atmosphere.

Abstract:
This dissertation is focused on the determination of turbulent atmospheric transmission media properties. The concept of new method for turbulent attenuation designation is presented – the method of available power. This method comes from laser beam intensity profile analysis. The next point of this work is relative variance of optical intensity study. On the basis of experimental measurements relative variance of optical intensity is non-uniformly distributed in laser beam intensity profile. This non uniform distribution is subordinated to angular coefficient of intensity profile curve. Due to this information we can determine optimal laser beam shape to minimize influence of turbulent atmosphere.

Abstract:
Jádrem této disertační práce bylo studovat optické a elektrické charakteristiky tenkovrstvých elektroluminiscenčních součástek řízených střídavým proudem (ACTFEL) a zejména vliv procesu stárnutí luminiforů na jejich optické a elektrické vlastnosti. Cílem této studie měl být příspěvek ke zvýšení celkové účinnosti luminoforů, vyjádřené pomocí jasu, účinnosti a stability. Vzhledem k tomu, že současnou dominantní technologií plochých obrazovek je LCD, musí se další alternativní technologie plošných displejů porovnávat s LCD. Výhodou ACTFEL displejů proti LCD je lepší rozlišení, větší teplotní rozsah činnosti, větší čtecí úhel, či možnost čtení při mnohem vyšší intenzitě pozadí. Na druhou stranu je jejich nevýhodou vyšší energetická náročnost, problém s odpovídající barevností tří základních barev a podstatně vyšší napětí nutné pro činnost displeje. K dosažení tohoto cíle jsme provedli optická, elektrická a optoelektrická měření ACTFEL struktur a ZnS:Mn luminoforů. Navíc jsme studovali vliv dotování vrstvy pomocí KCl na chování mikrostruktury a na elektroluminiscenční vlastnosti (zejména na jas a světelnou účinnost) ZnS:Mn luminoforů. Provedli jsme i některá, ne zcela obvyklá, měření ACTFEL součástek. Vypočítali jsme i rozptylový poměr nabitých barevných center a simulovali transportní charakteristiky v ACTFEL součástkách. Studovali jsme vliv stárnutí dvou typů ZnS:Mn luminoforů (s vrstvou napařenou či získanou pomocí epitaxe atomových vrstev) monitorováním závislostí svítivost-napětí (L-V), velikost vnitřního náboje - elektrické pole luminoforu (Q-Fp) a kapacitance-napětí (C-V) ve zvolených časových intervalech v průběhu stárnutí. Provedli jsme krátkodobá i dlouhodobá měření a pokusili jsme se i o vizualizaci struktury luminoforu se subvlnovým rozlišením pomocí optického rastrovacího mikroskopu pracujícího v blízkém poli (SNOM). Na praktickém případu zeleného Zn2GeO4:Mn (2% Mn) ACTFEL displeje, pracujícího při 50 Hz, jsme také studovali stabilitu svítivosti pomocí měření závislosti svítivosti na napětí (L-V) a světelné účinnosti na napětí (eta-V). Přitom byl zhodnocen význam těchto charakteristik. Nezanedbatelnou a neoddělitelnou součástí této práce je i její pedagogický aspekt. Předložený text by mohl být využit i jako učebnice pro studenty na mé univerzitě v Lybii.

This master thesis deals with the possibility of separation of useful signal from noise using polarization of laser radiation. This thesis is structured into 5 thematic units. The first unit is focused on laser radiation and its properties. The second part contains a deeper focus on the polarization of radiation, its description and the possibilities of measuring the polarization states. The third part of the thesis is devoted to the design of the measuring chains and identification of used elements. Chapter four contains measurement of status of the polarization and its results. The last chapter analyzes particular measuring chains outputs according to their spectral characteristics.
