Abstract:
Resumo O vocabulário dos riscos psicossociais permite qualificar novos sofrimentos no trabalho: enquanto, no século XIX, a violência feita aos corpos atingia as almas, hoje as pressões exercidas sobre as mentes atingem os corpos. Essa terminologia, que se tornou usual no jargão administrativo, é, todavia, dúbia, pois conduz à individualização e à despolitização dos problemas. Essa negação do político está no âmago do projeto neoliberal. Por isso, propomos analisar a coerência ideológica dessa doutrina, antes de examinar de que forma os dispositivos administrativos nas grandes empresas podem ter incorporado, ao menos em parte, uma visão da ação humana sem fim, sem vontade e sem prazer.

 Resumo: trata-se, neste artigo, de discutir o uso de esquemas conceituais do Corpus Hippocraticum no Emílio de J.-J. Rousseau. A hipótese de leitura relaciona o princípio de isonomia dos antigos e o conceito de ordem aplicado ao equilíbrio das faculdades e dos órgãos da criança.

Abstract:
Objetivo: analisar os problemas éticos vivenciados por enfermeiros intensivistas em situações de internação por ordem judicial na perspectiva da deliberação moral. Método: pesquisa qualitativa entre janeiro e dezembro de 2016, mediante entrevistas semiestruturadas com 42 enfermeiros intensivistas das regiões Sul e Sudeste do Brasil. Apreciada por meio da Análise Textual Discursiva. Resultados: a análise resultou em três categorias que apresentam como conteúdo a prioridade da deliberação, o sofrimento moral dos enfermeiros e a advocacia do enfermeiro. Considerações finais: a judicialização da saúde traz alterações significativas nas relações sociais e institucionais. Os enfermeiros devem perceber que, frente às diferentes possibilidades de tomadas de decisão diante dos problemas éticos, valores morais importantes encontram-se em conflito.

Os sistemas sociais operam em condições de clausura operativa, negando a possibilidade de validade direta da moral no interior do sistema jurídico. Da especificação do sistema como unidade, o Direito apenas é válido enquanto Direito, bem como a moral apenas é válida enquanto moral. Em outras palavras, o fechamento operativo do sistema jurídico não permite que a moral delimite diretamente o conteúdo do Direito, muito embora sejam possíveis formas específicas de interrelações entre esses dois âmbitos comunicativos, bem como a assimilação jurídica da comunicação moral. Nessa ótica, a importância da moral ou sua utilização pelo Direito não é relegada a um plano de menor importância, mas questiona simplesmente a busca de um fundamento moral para o sistema jurídico, salientando que a tese do fechamento operativo dos sistemas autopoiéticos assume justamente uma posição contrária à possibilidade de validade imediata da moral autônoma no campo do Direito.

Ao dispensar a virtude de ser o fundamento da ordem civil, ele não promove, contudo, a separação entre a política e a moral, mas assinala um novo e problemático papel para a virtude no interior da ordem civil - não mais o de produzi-la, mas o de julgá-la de modo apropriado.

 Inspirada por a distinção de Kripke entre os conceitos de analiticidade e a aprioridade através do conceito auxiliar de necessidade, a tese central desse artigo é que tem mais tipos de atitudes políticas do que esperado ; a falta de algumas delas no espectro político vem de uma confusão profunda entre o conceitos de direita e de conservatismo. Alem disso, a separação entre dois tipos de ordem ”“econoÌ‚mico e moral, justificará as atitudes mais originais de ‘conservatismo de esquerda’ e de ‘progressismo de direita’ enquanto explicara as noções ambíguas de centros e extremos políticos. Em conclusão, uma comparação entre valores políticas e valores lógicos ”“verdade e falsidade, permitira uma explicação das atitudes ambivalentes ‘esquerda e direita’ e ‘nem de esquerda nem de direita’ ou como casos de confusões conceituas ou como um colapso do discurso político no ‘extremo-centro’.

Abstract:
O presente artigo tem por objetivo refinar a metodologia da ciência do direito a partir do conceito de liberdade de Axel Honneth e da teoria neoinstitucionalista de Neil MacCormick. De acordo com o primeiro, vislumbra-se a necessidade de se desenhar um fundamento teórico para a metodologia do campo que articule as demandas da liberdade a partir da necessária relação entre a moral e a ética, simultaneamente. Encontra-se uma aproximação a esse ideal quando se reavalia o conceito de ordem normativa institucional de MacCormick na matriz teórica honnethiana. A partir da associação proposta, conclui-se que o direito encontra fundamento de validade no processo intersubjetivo de reconstrução normativa dos valores imanentes à ordem institucional. A reconstrução de tais valores, partilhados socialmente, deve ser responsável pela preservação das condições comunicativas básicas que possibilitem aos indivíduos o reconhecimento mútuo de suas necessidades, convicções e habilidades.

O presente trabalho visa compreender a relação entre a ordem do mundo e o homem nas obras de Voltaire, ou seja, elucidar a posição e condição do homem num mundo ordenado por leis e a compreensão desse mundo do ponto de vista humano. Para tanto se enfrentou os temas que tal relação oferecia ao autor: a liberdade e a necessidade, o destino, a providência e o mal. Estes tópicos, como se sabe, constituem os assuntos tradicionais da teodicéia, de sorte que o presente trabalho é concebido também como a elucidação da leitura crítica de Voltaire do otimismo filosófico.<br>The present work tries to understand the rapports between the order of the world and man in Voltaires works, that is, it aims at shedding some light on man as part of an ordered world and on the understanding of that ordered world from a human standpoint. In order to do that it focused the subjects which the comprehension of that relation required: liberty and necessity, destiny, providence and evil. Those topics, as one knows, constituted the traditional themes of the theodicy, so that the present work can also be considered as an account of Voltaires critique of the philosophical optimism.

A decisão política e moral entre fazer algo e não fazer nada diante de emergências humanitárias, como genocídio, assassinatos em massa e limpeza étnica ao redor do mundo, permanece como um dos principais dilemas decisórios das relações internacionais e como tema controverso tanto para a Teoria Política quanto para a Teoria de Relações Internacionais. A complexidade e controvérsia deste fenômeno serão analisadas a partir da perspectiva de que as intervenções humanitárias reivindicam o lugar negligenciado das considerações morais tanto pela prática política quanto pelas reflexões teóricas de mainstream das relações internacionais. Desse modo, o principal objetivo desta pesquisa é a análise das intervenções humanitárias a partir da relação entre ordem e justiça sob a perspectiva normativa. É da reflexão sobre a conexão e a combinação dessas duas idéias tão cruciais ao entendimento prático e teórico das relações internacionais que se pretende buscar novas interpretações normativas a respeito desse fenômeno. Para tanto, a reflexão teórica e normativa das intervenções humanitárias será ilustrada com exemplos empíricos de intervenções durante e após o período de Guerra Fria, a fim de investigar as possibilidades de uma mudança no relacionamento entre ordem e justiça desde o início da década de 1990 até os dias mais contemporâneos.<br>The moral and political decision between doing something and doing nothing at the occasion of humanitarian emergencies, such as genocide, mass murders and ethnic cleansing all around the world remains to be the principal dilemma of decision making in the area of international relations and as a controversial subject as well as for the Political Theory as for the Theory of International Relations. The complexity and controversy of this phenomenon will be analyzed from the perspective that the humanitarian interventions demand the neglected place of moral considerations as well as for the political practice as for the theoretical reflections of the mainstream of international relations. In this manner, the main objective of this research is the analysis of humanitarian interventions from the relation between order and justice on a normative perspective. It is the reflection of connection and combination between this two ideas so much essential for the practical and theoretical understanding of international relations, that will be the groundwork for the search for new normative interpretations in relation to this phenomenon. As such, the theoretical and normative reflection of humanitarian interventions will be illustrated on empirical examples of interventions during and after the period of Cold War, to investigate the possibilities of changes in relation between order and justice since the beginning of the decade of 1990 until the more recent past.

A hipótese de pesquisa é a seguinte: as interações entre os diferentes atores e agências, no contexto da hidrelétrica, produzem um campo semântico próprio. Grosso modo, este trabalho atribui à situação social de construção da hidrelétrica as questões de representações, de atos rituais, de normas, de valores e de moralidades que compõem, polissemicamente, uma ordem de relações morais. A heterogeneidade dos atores envolvidos e a variedade de eventos compõem as complexas interações em torno da realidade da hidrelétrica, obrigando os atores a reordenarem e re-significarem suas posições e perspectivas. _______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT<br>The aim of this thesis is to describe and analyze the dynamics of the changes occurred during the construction and operation of the Corumbá IV hydroelectric plant. In that period, one is able to observe the competition among different ways of symbolizing the territory and its resources, mainly, moral economy of the peasant, enterprising concepts of development and environmentalist perspectives. The hypothesis of this research is the following: In the hydroelectric context, relationships among social actors create an particular symbolic field. In other words, this work is about the social change, ritual deeds, rules and moral values constituents of a new symbolic order.

Yet in 1933, fleeing from persecutions against Jews, she went to Paris and after that to the United States of America (place where she established her new residence later). In the 60’s Arendt returned to Jerusalem as a reporter to cover the judgment of the Nazi’s ex-bureaucrat, Adolf Eichmann, found by the secret police of Israel living in Argentina. On this occasion, as the correspondent of the North-American magazine The New Yorker, she published her impressions about the judgment. Thereafter, her articles are reunited and published it the book Eichmann in Jerusalem: A Report on the Banality of Evil. This dissertation work aims to solve the complexity which involved the elaboration of these texts, taking into consideration the relation of Hannah Arendt with the Zionists, as well as the categories and concepts previously presented in her works, which oriented her reflection during the judgment. In order to accomplish this comprehensive exercise, a dialogue was established between Eichmann in Jerusalem and other works as The Origins of Totalitarianism, as well as other articles and texts of Hannah Arendt.<br>Em 1933, com o estabelecimento do regime nazista na Alemanha, Hannah Arendt se filiou ao sionismo para enfrentar o regime totalitário. No mesmo ano, fugindo de perseguições contra os judeus, ela segue para Paris e, posteriormente, para os Estados Unidos da América, onde estabeleceu nova residência. Na década de 1960, Arendt vai para Jerusalém como repórter para cobrir o julgamento do ex-burocrata nazista, Adolf Eichmann, encontrado pela polícia secreta de Israel vivendo na Argentina. Nesta ocasião, trabalhacomo correspondente da revista norte-americana The New Yorker, onde publica seus artigos sobre o julgamento. Futuramente, esses artigos seriam reunidos e publicados no livro Eichmann em Jerusalém: um relato sobre a banalidade do mal. Esta dissertação procura analisar a elaboração destes textos, levando em consideração a relação de Hannah Arendt com os sionistas, assim como as categorias e conceitos que nortearam sua reflexão durante o julgamento. Para a realização desse objetivo, estabeleceu-se um diálogo entre Eichmann em Jerusalém e outras obras da autora, como, por exemplo, Origens do totalitarismo.

After demonstrating that the constitutional article refered above provides the necessary support for conceiving a collective consciousness grounded in dignity conceived in its community dimension, we look foward to establish the effectiveness of supervision exercised by the instruments made available by the brazilian system of law at the moment of the protection of the legal immaterial goods, especially intangible heritage collective. Thus, outlined the parameters of material and protection configuration, procedural and extra-procedural, we consider the nature of the indemnification established as a direct result of the verification of the lesion to the collective moral, synonymous of intangible collective heritage. To achieve this latter goal, the allocation of indemnities was investigated, always confronting the general purposes of the Public Civil Action law and specific function of article 13. For last, two special features were detailed and properly correlated to the assumptions set out at the beginning of the dissertation, in order to conclude on the trend of the Superior Court of Justice with regard to the effectiveness of safeguarding the legal interests of immaterial character.<br>A presente dissertação tem por objetivo analisar a possibilidade de reconhecimento de um patrimônio imaterial coletivo, calcado numa ordem objetiva de valores, cujo fundamento primordial é o artigo 1º da Constituição da República Federativa do Brasil. Após a constatação de o referido dispositivo constitucional fornece os subsídios necessários para a formatação de uma consciência coletiva calcada numa dignidade concebida em sua dimensão comunitária, procura-se estabelecer a efetividade exercida pelos instrumentos de tutela colocados à disposição pelo ordenamento quando da proteção aos bens jurídicos imateriais, mormento o patrimônio imaterial coletivo. Assim, traçados os parâmetros de configuração material e de tutela, processual e extraprocessual, parte para a consideração da natureza da indenização fixada como decorrência direta da verificação de lesão à moral difusa, correlata semântica do patrimônio imaterial coletivo. Para a consecução desse último objetivo, também a destinação das parcelas pecuniárias arrecada foi perscruta, sempre confronto as finalidades gerais da Lei da Ação Civil Pública e a disposição expressa e específica de seu artigo 13. Por derradeiro, dois recursos especiais foram detalhas e devidamente correlacionados às premissas fixadas no início da dissertação, a fim de concluir sobre a tendência do Superior Tribunal de Justiça no que à efetividade de tutela dos bens jurídicos de caráter imaterial

Abstract:
This ethnography aims to identify the role of the Pentecostal beliefs that peasants in South Brazil use in justifying their life situations. Anthropological data were collected in the Sertão region of Jaguariaíva, in the Brazilian State of Paraná. An interpretative approach was used with concepts including the moral order of peasantness, moral economy, and multiple livelihood strategies. The core results indicated that Pentecostals in the countryside are not monolithic in terms of religion and have varying degrees of engagement with a variety of churches as well as their relations with the wider capitalism. Their economic and life-changing decisions are articulated by a moral order of peasantness expressed by dependence on Providence and the interpretation of events as a revelation of Divine will. The moral order is significant for maintaining viable peasant communities, orienting their relations to land, kinship, work, and consumption in a way that sets them apart from the “world.” Such findings question the Weberian explanations for the role of Pentecostalism in Latin American capitalism and confirm the repeasantization theory concerning the persistence of a distinctive peasant way of life.<br>Esta etnografia visa identificar o papel das crenças pentecostais com as quais os camponeses do sul do Brasil se expressam para justificar sua subsistência. O trabalho de campo antropológico no Sertão de Jaguariaíva, Paraná, serviu para a coleta de dados. Em uma abordagem interpretativa, a análise emprega conceitos de ordem moral da campesinidade, economia moral e múltiplas estratégias de subsistência. Os principais resultados são: o pentecostalismo rural não é monolítico e conta com diferentes graus de envolvimento com uma variedade de igrejas e com o capitalismo em geral. Não obstante, suas decisões econômicas, ou de grande impacto na vida, são articuladas por uma ordem moral campesina expressa pela espera na providência e pela interpretação de eventos como uma revelação da vontade divina. A ordem moral tem relevância para a manutenção de comunidades camponesas viáveis, orientando suas relações com a terra, o parentesco, o trabalho e o consumo, de modo a distingui-las do “mundo”. Tais resultados juntam-se ao debate das explicações weberianas sobre o papel do pentecostalismo no capitalismo latino-americano e confirmam a teoria do retorno do camponês como categoria e sua persistência como um distinto modo de vida.

Diante dessa inicial construção ontoantropológica, realizada no Livro I, traçaremos uma breve genealogia da instituição policial no Livro II, agora, acostados no procedimento genealógico de Nietzsche observado por Foucault em sede de normalização e biopolítica e em pesquisa documental acerca da história das instituições de segurança, ou melhor, do pensamento militar à segurança, sobremaneira do Exército brasileiro. Abstract:
The modal logic S5 gives us a simple technical tool to analyze some main notions from philosophy (e.g. metaphysical necessity and epistemological concepts such as knowledge and belief). Although S5 can be axiomatized by some simple rules, this logic shows some puzzling properties. For example, an interpolation result holds for the propositional version, but this same result fails when we add first-order quantifiers to this logic. In this dissertation, we study the failure of the Definability and Interpolation Theorems for first-order S5. At the same time, we combine the results of justification logic and we investigate the quantified justification counterpart of S5 (first-order JT45). In this way we explore the relationship between justification logic and modal logic to see if justification logic can contribute to the literature concerning the restoration of the Interpolation Theorem.<br>A lógica modal S5 nos oferece um ferramental técnico para analizar algumas noções filosóficas centrais (por exemplo, necessidade metafísica e certos conceitos epistemológicos como conhecimento e crença). Apesar de ser axiomatizada por princípios simples, esta lógica apresenta algumas propriedades peculiares. Uma das mais notórias é a seguinte: podemos provar o Teorema da Interpolação para a versão proposicional, mas esse mesmo teorema não pode ser provado quando adicionamos quantificadores de primeira ordem a essa lógica. Nesta dissertação vamos estudar a falha dos Teoremas da Definibilidade e da Interpolação para a versão quantificada de S5. Ao mesmo tempo, vamos combinar os resultados da lógica da justificação e investigar a contraparte da versão quantificada de S5 na lógica da justificação (a lógica chamada JT45 de primeira ordem). Desse modo, vamos explorar a relação entre lógica modal e lógica da justificação para ver se a lógica da justificação pode contribuir para a restauração do Teorema da Interpolação.

Dynamic analysis is extensively used to study the behavior of continuous and lumped parameter linear systems. In addition to the physical space, analyses can also be performed in the modal space where useful frequency information of the system can be extracted. More specifically, modal analysis can be used for the analysis and controller design of dynamic systems, where reduction of model complexity without degrading the accuracy is often required for the efficient use of the model. The reduction of modal models has been extensively studied and many reduction techniques are available. The majority of these techniques use frequency as the metric to determine the reduced model. This paper describes a new method for calculating the modal power of lumped parameter systems with the use of the bond graph representation, which is developed through a power conserving modal decomposition. This method is then used to reduce the size of the model. This technique is based on the previously developed Model Order Reduction Algorithm (MORA), which uses an energy-based metric to generate a series of proper reduced models. An example is provided to demonstrate the calculation of the modal power and the elimination of unimportant modes or modal elements using MORA.

Riser fairings are designed to rotate freely about the riser axis and to passively align with the direction of incident flow so they will effectively streamline the flow and eliminate VIV (Vortex-Induced Vibrations). This rotational degree of freedom introduces the possibility of a complex dynamic phenomenon involving coupling between the hydrodynamic forces and the fairing / riser motions (e.g. cross-flow translation and rotation). Slocum et al. reported a scaled model test of a long flexible riser model with a freely-rotating riser fairing conducted at MARINTEK at OTC-2004. At low flow speeds, the test showed the fairings to be effective. However, at higher towing velocities they became unstable resulting in high displacements at its first bending mode. This paper presents the work related to a study of effectiveness of fairings and is one of several VIV research activities NDP (Norwegian Deepwater Programme) has conducted at MARINTEK in 2002–2007. The present work is partly a follow up activity to the work reported by Slocum et al. The purpose of the present work was to study possible higher order modal response of faired risers and in particular to find out if such response can occur in higher bending modes than the first. A vertically towed instrumented riser was tested with 2 different fairing designs in uniform current profile with different towing speeds. Fairing II was identical to the one used in Slocum et al (2004) while Fairing I represents an alternative design. The riser model was 9.32m long, had diameter of 20mm and was flexible. Both bare riser configuration and full coverage of the two fairing sets were tested. This study documented first-, second- and third-mode responses at high amplitudes (instability behavior) for Fairing II. Tests with Fairing I showed that the riser was stable, but the riser vibrations were found to be similar with respect to displacement amplitudes and frequencies to the bare riser VIV.

For modal analysis of large structures, it is unpractical and expensive to use artificial excitation (e.g., shakers). However, engineering structures are most often subject to ambient loads (e.g., traffic and wind) that can be exploited for modal parameter estimation. One difficulty is that the actual loading conditions cannot generally be measured, and output-only measurements are available. This paper proposes to explore the utility of blind source separation (BSS) techniques for operational modal analysis. The basic idea of BSS is to recover unobserved source signals from their observed mixtures. The feasibility and practicality of the proposed method are demonstrated using an experimental application.

The author characterized the Ukrainian national values, national interests and national goals. It is emphasized that national values are conceptual, ideological bases, consolidating factors, important life guidelines on the way to effective protection of Ukraine from Russian aggression and building a democratic, united Ukrainian state. Author analyzes the functioning of the mass media in the context of educational propaganda of individual, social and state values, the dominant core of which are patriotism, human rights and freedoms, social justice, material and spiritual wealth of Ukrainians, natural resources, morality, peace, religiosity, benevolence, national security, constitutional order. These key national values are a strong moral and civic core, a life-giving element, a self-affirming synergy, which on the basis of homogeneity binds the current Ukrainian society with the ancestors and their centuries-old material and spiritual heritage. Attention is focused on the fact that the current problem of building the Ukrainian state and protecting it from the brutal Moscow invaders is directly dependent on the awareness of all citizens of the essence of national values, national interests, national goals and filling them with the meaning of life, charitable socio-political life. It is emphasized that the missionary vocation of journalists to orient readers and listeners to the meaningful choice of basic national values, on the basis of which Ukrainian citizens, regardless of nationality together they will overcome the external Moscow and internal aggression of the pro-Russian fifth column, achieve peace, return the Ukrainian territories seized by the Kremlin imperialists and, in agreement will build Ukrainian Ukraine.
