This study focuses on energy recovery from biomass plants which are generally considerated as waste. Specially, it is the production of a form of cooking energy source from the leaves of neem, rice bran and sawdust. These plant materials were mixed in three different proportions of clay and kneaded by hand to make rods. It appears from the combustion test that only rod made from approximately 25% clay has burnt. From 1kg of these kinds of fuels, it was possible to boil 5 liters of water. Rods obtained from neem leaves were more energy efficient despite the smoke they produce. It therefore appe

During the episode, the patients had severe anterograde amnesia for verbal and non-verbal material and retrograde amnesia that typically covered at least two decades. Thirty hours to 42 days after the episode, the patients had recovered completely and performed normal

Abstract:
The energy storage needs of the 21st century demand solutions that are both 'efficient' and 'sustainable.' The research explores alternatives to transition metal-based electrode materials traditionally used in LIBs, with a particular focus on redox-active organic materials, such as ample availability of precursors, structural diversity, non-toxicity, and low cost.[1] Conductive polymers, organosulfur compounds, organic radicals, small carbonyl compounds, carbonyl polymers, imine and azo compounds are the few classes of organics explored. This study focuses on the development of rechargeable ba

Water used by mining enterprises needs to be comprehensively recovered and utilized to achieve clean production. This requires the effective treatment of mineral processing wastewater. Wastewater produced during non-ferrous metal mineral processing contains a complex mixture of pollutants at high concentrations, making comprehensive treatment difficult. Here, the sources of and hazards posed by wastewater produced during non-ferrous metal mineral processing are introduced and the techniques for removing heavy metal ions and organic chemicals are reviewed. Alternaria radicina, causal agent of black rot disease of carrot, was recovered from soil by plating dilutions on a semi-selective medium, A. radicina semi-selective agar. The efficiency of this soil assay was 93% based on recovery of the fungus from non-infested field soil amended with A. radicina conidia. Soilborne A. radicina was recovered from five of six carrot-growing areas in California, but was only commonly found in the Cuyama Valley, where the fungus was detected in 83% of sampled fields. Safety of solid state batteries come from solid electrolytes used instead of organic liquid electrolytes in conventional Li-ion batteries. The various types of solid electrolytes have already been reported for SSBs which can be divided into oxides, sulfides, halides and polymers based on their properties, advantages and disadvantages [2]. Among them, sulfide based solid electrolytes have advantages over other due to high conductivity and ductile nat

Porphyrins and other tetrapyrroles are highly suitable for sensing operations based on their synthetic flexibility and chromophore structures where an analyte might interact to stimulate some variation in directly observable optical colour or fluorescence emission modulation. Their chromophore structures also allow access to electronic triplet states, which can be harnessed for the generation of singlet oxygen – a highly reactive species useful for photodynamic action against tumours or microorganisms. Utilization of non-toxic catalyst, wide substrate scope and environmentally benign reaction medium are the important features of the developed protocol.
