Současná regulace lobbingu v EU (EP a EK), v podobě formální dokumentace, vykazuje pohledem projektu mezinárodních standardů nevládních organizací značné rezervy. Systém je dle tohoto projektu nejsilnější z hlediska svého vymezení či transparentnosti, a naopak nejslabší v oblasti kontroly, sankcí a integrity. Zjištěná reflexe zcela odpovídá základním parametrům unijního, dobrovolného a sebe-regulačního systému. Celkové výsledky výzkumu ukazují, že Komise alespoň částečně splňuje více jak polovinu stanovených standardů. Parlament naopak méně než polovinu. Obě instituce tak vykazují velký prostor pro posílení regulace zejména v oblastech integrity, participace a přístupu. Mezi zásadní problémy unijní regulace patří především: neucelenost, dobrovolný rejstřík transparentnosti, nedostatek poskytovaných údajů v rejstříku, absence nezávislého dozorového orgánu a přísnějších sankcí či benevolentního používání instrumentu legislativní stopy.

Terorismus představuje významnou hrozbu národní i mezinárodní bezpečnosti a již několik let se stává velice diskutovaným tématem také v České republice. Tato publikace přináší hlubší vhled do problematiky terorismu v jeho rozmanitých dimenzích, které jsou obohaceny o rozhovory s českými odborníky. Publikace je dělena na dvě části. První část přináší teoretický pohled na vymezení terorismu, mezinárodní i národní dějiny fenoménu, motivace teroristů, psychologii terorismu, organizační aspekty terorismu a oblast boje proti terorismu na úrovni národní, evropské i globální. Druhá část obsahuje rozhovory s uznávanými českými odborníky. Přináší tak skutečně multidisciplinární náhled na problematiku v českém kontextu, ať již jde o evropskou spolupráci, kybernetickou bezpečnost, politickou dimenzi terorismu, terorismus a možné zneužiti zbraní hromadného ničení, psychologii terorismu, dění na Blízkém východě nebo mezinárodní právo v boji proti terorismu.

V této stati podrobíme kritickému posouzení a případné reinterpretaci údajný demokratizační potenciál globální občanské společnosti. K tomu je nejprve třeba definovat postavení pojmu globální občanské společnosti v rámci studia globalizace. Následně budou vymezeny tři pozice (resp. tradice) v současné diskusi o možnostech realizace demokracie na nadnárodní úrovni. V rámci každé tradice bude defi nována funkce, kterou podle ní plní občanská společnost. Další sekce se obrátí k empiricky orientované analýze. Podle převládající interpretace je globální občanská společnost tvořena různými mezinárodními nevládními organizacemi a sociálními hnutími. Stať proto nejprve shrnuje data popisující tento typ politických aktérů a dále se zaměřuje na „nový“ typ globálního (individualizovaného) aktivismu. V další sekci diskutuje dopad, který by aktivity studovaných organizací a hnutí mohly mít na realizaci demokratické kontroly na nadnárodní úrovni. Na tuto část navazuje expozice skeptického pohledu na možnost uskutečnění globálního demokratického občanství. Občanství je odlišeno od aktivismu a jsou diskutovány problémy, s nimiž se současný globální politický aktivismus potýká. V závěru stati je posouzen demokratizační potenciál „globální občanské společnosti“: její aktéři sice mohou zasáhnout do politické komunikace a přispět ke zvýšení transparentnosti politického rozhodování na globální úrovni, nejsou však nositeli globálního občanství. Na globální úrovni kategorie demokratického občanství chybí, je naopak zajišťována institucemi (demokratických) států. Samotná existence globální občanské společnosti je proto závislá na politických a ekonomických podmínkách v jednotlivých státech. S tím souvisí také to, že by se její aktivity namísto nerealizovatelného projektu globální demokracie měly spíše zaměřit na posilování občanské autonomie na úrovni jednotlivých států.

Problematika společenské odpovědnosti organizací (dále jen CSR) je v současné době velmi diskutovaným tématem. Implementace CSR do obchodní strategie může přispět ke zvýšení konkurenceschopnosti, která je nezbytná v dnešním globalizovaném a moderním turbulentním tržním prostředí. Aplikace CSR v podnikání znamená, že organizace bere v úvahu také environmentální a sociální aspekty a dopady svých aktivit, produktů a služeb. CSR má vliv na to, jak zákazníci vnímají společnosti. Tento koncept je důležitý nejen pro zákazníky, ale také pro další zúčastněné strany, jako jsou: investoři, zaměstnanci, veřejnost, média, stát a další. Global Reporting Initiative (dále jen GRI) je nezávislá mezinárodní organizace, která je průkopníkem v oblasti reportování udržitelnosti. Standardy GRI jsou první globální standardy pro podávání zpráv o udržitelnosti. Mají modulární vzájemně propojenou strukturu a představují globální osvědčené postupy pro podávání zpráv o řadě ekonomických, environmentálních a sociálních dopadů. Cílem tohoto příspěvku je doporučit přístup k CSR pro společnost poskytující expresní kurýrní služby v České republice. Pozornost je primárně zaměřena na ekonomické, environmentální a sociální aspekty CSR, které tato společnost považuje za důležité z hlediska jejího podnikatelského sektoru. Metody interpretativní případové studie, dotazníkového šetření a analytického síťového procesu (dále jen ANP) jsou použity k určení nejlepší strategie CSR pro společnost poskytující expresní kurýrní služby v České republice v souladu se standardy GRI.

Záměrem předložené disertační práce je porozumět tomu, jak investoři v konkrétním společenském kontextu vnímají význam kvality informačních systémů. Ze studia literatury zabývající se přístupy a rámci hodnocení kvality informačních systémů vyplývá, že tato kvalita je obecně hodnocena z hlediska striktního přístupu. V této práci je ukázáno, že kvalitu informačního systému lze smysluplně pochopit použitím interpretačního paradigmatu a že kvalita informačního systému je definována společensky a ovlivňována kontextem tohoto systému. Studie byla zahájena průzkumem dvaceti libyjských organizací. Podrobnější data byla získána z případové studie dvou vybraných libyjských organizací působících ve veřejném sektoru. Při empirické analýze nashromážděných dat bylo využito rámce mnohočetné perspektivy, který zahrnuje hlediska teorie strukturalizace, pojem mnohočetných perspektiv a metodologii měkkých systémů. V práci se dospělo ke zjištění, že: a) kvalita informačních systémů je pojata šíře, než je tomu u tradiční definice kvality, b) mnohočetné perspektivy kvality informačních systémů jsou ovlivněny opakovanou interakcí mezi investorem a institucionálními vlastnostmi kontextu informačního systému a že c) rozdílné hodnoty v kulturním prostředí a vnějším kontextu ovlivňují rozsah působnosti investora a interakce v kontextu informačního systému. Ze závěru práce vyplývá, že společenská skladba mnohočetných perspektiv kvality informačního systému je ovlivněna strukturalizačními procesy mezi investory a vlastnostmi v kontextu informačního systému.

Title: Organisational changes from the viewpoint of Czech courts case law The purpose of my thesis is to analyse the legal regulations, case law and publications regarding organisational changes. I have chosen this topic because it is often addressed by courts and still causes many problems to employers and employees, especially at this time of economic downturn. The reason for my research is to provide an overview on how to perform organisational changes in accordance with the Czech Labour Code and case law and to analyze, to what extent employers can find guidelines for reorganisation in the legal regulations and case law. The thesis is composed of an introduction, a main part with seven chapters and a conclusion. Each of the seven chapters deals with different aspects of organisational changes within an employer. Chapter One is introductory and defines basic terminology used in the thesis, addresses the function of organisational changes for an employer, development of relevant legal regulation and especially focuses on the categorisation of possible types of organisational changes. Title: Functioning of Czech youth tennis development from the parent's viewpoint Objectives: The main goal of this work is to obtain feedback from parents regarding the quality and evaluation of satisfaction with the current functioning of development in tennis in youth categories. Another goal was to receive answers to why decide to lose tennis players when switching between individual youth categories. Methods: A quantitative method of questionnaire survey was used to obtain answers from respondents. Respondents were interviewed electronically through the contacted contact persons of selected tennis clubs dedicated to organizing tournaments for racing players in the youth categories in the past year. Another method of data collection in the framework of qualitative research was conducted through informal interviews with parents to obtain a comprehensive picture of the researched issues. Results: The survey found the satisfaction of the target group with selected aspects of tennis training that affect the functioning of the youth tennis system. The target group identified quality tennis coaches as the main factor influencing the quality of system care. This master's thesis deals with the identification and the analysis of the changes in society which lead to questioning the basic principles of human rights from the point of view of Czech non-profit organisations. In this study, it is important to divide the definition of human rights into their legal aspect, i.e. as rights of people, and their institutional aspect, i.e. as the moral imperative of equality and liberty. The latter is the main objective of this study, and is in this thesis labelled as the human rights. While the legal aspect of human rights is hard to change and to challenge, the institution of human rights is confronted by both the politics and the public. Because of their unique position between the political and the public spheres, non-profit organisations who advocate the human rights were chosen as the research sample. The dimensions of the researched phenomenon are divided into decreasing political influence of countries promoting the human rights, and increasing distrust in the legitimacy of the human rights. Findings from the research uncover the unequal intensity of the potential reasons of the changing attitudes towards the institution of human rights, and we can identify the political sphere as the creator of the boundaries in which the public reacts. This diploma thesis presents the concept of lifelong learning as an ambitious political project born in the field of international organisations at the beginning of the 1970s which now reaches far beyond the borders of national states and education policy. The sphere of education still remains the responsibility of national governments, however, even here strong globalising tendencies have occurred since the 1990s, as a result of which the national policy is more and more being influenced by supranational institutions. Although the concept of lifelong learning now serves as a common framework, it has been interpreted differently during its evolution and a consensus on what it exactly means and how it should be put into practice still does not exist. Based on analysis of key documents, this thesis aims to compare the view of lifelong learning held by the international organisation UNESCO with that of OECD, as two distinctive perspectives on this issue. The comparison draws on Rubenson's model (2004), which examines lifelong learning through three key categories representing the main actors of social life - the state, the market and civil society. My diploma thesis deals with social housing issue and its building approach in Tábor and Prague, furthermore it monitors current system setting in "the capital" in comparison with "the municipality with extended competence". In both observed areas my research is based on work of carefully selected Non-Government Organisations which focus on the social housing issue. Moreover my diploma thesis examines realization opportunities of social housing and its cooperation with self-governing institutions. The main part describes long and difficult formation of legal framework and final face of Act on Social Housing as well as ideas and attitudes of all key counterparties in Czech Republic during its negotiation. Finally my thesis describes different views of social housing issue in selected European countries and shows its funding options.

The thesis deals with the psychological aspects of stress in police work from the perspective of police psychologists. Firstly, key terms and psychological aspects of police work are described in the theoretical part. Subsequently, a chapter of individual aspects of stress in police work is introduced. The aspects are divided into four separate groups - organizational stress, stress and lifestyle, stress and family life and borderline situations in police work. The following chapter deals with psychological care for police officers. The research part of this work brings findings obtained qualitatively in in-depth interviews. A wide range of themes arose - exceeding bureaucracy and control, incessant need to keep up with the police role, limited career growth and the absence of meaning leading to burn-out. In the context of family life, themes of alienation, infidelity or other common family problems were registered. Alcohol abuse as an escape strategy was mentioned. Borderline and traumatizing events are marginal matter according to participants. A range of relevant themes arose - encounter with death, children victims, car accidents and suicide among police officers.
