Abstract:
In this paper is transformation of traditional organizational diagnostics for the use organizations in the field of agribusiness. The transformation of the methodology is necessary due to the peculiarities of the functional zones of the farm, associated with a limited number of human resources in the state of such an organization, taking into account the fact that each unit of the state will have expanded professional competencies to overlap the functionality of the main organizational zones. The paper uses a methodology for developing diagnostic tables that reveal the degree of severity of the main characteristics with the development of an individual typology for the farm, which allows to identify the root problems of the activity; a diagnostic profile is built, the correlation of the identified problems is carried out using expert analysis. In the course of the work, six key functional zones were identified, the analysis of which allows us to diagnose the state of the farm at the current time and formulate the degree of problems and the presence of bottlenecks that require operational management influence. The algorithm developed in this paper is universal for conducting a comprehensive analysis and diagnosis of the state of farming.

Abstract:
The article deals with the company's transition to management based on a process approach. This approach is the basis for the introduction of lean-production, which has been especially popular in recent years in Russia. Company executives do not always understand how to start changes. The authors have developed diagnostic matrices in three areas: Management Processes, Organizational Culture, and Organizational Systems. Using an expert assessment of the proposed criteria, the manager can understand the current level of company development and identify problems in each area. Developed diagnostic matrices consider the analysis of processes in the dynamics of transformation of company policy from reactive to proactive.

Abstract:
Urgency of the research. Current development of digital technologies is driven by megatrends. Companies follow these trends and try to extend digital solutions to all areas of business. Target setting. Application of digital tools would be particularly practical for decentral executing companies. However, they have not yet been fully implemented, as the technological potential has not yet been sufficiently researched and adopted for the described purpose. Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. The literature analysis revealed that at present, digital tools are still not widely used for organizational purposes. Furthermore, humans still predominantly perform many diagnostic functions. Uninvestigated parts of general matters defining. In the course of a literature analysis of existing tools of organizational diagnosis, we encountered a lack of references to fully digitalized solutions. The research objective. The task is to analyze which of the examined criteria and dysfunctions of the organization can be diagnosed by digital tools; how conventional methods can be replaced; what are the advantages and disadvantages of digital organizational analysis, as well as which requirements must be met for implementation. The statement of basic materials. In this article, we compare conventional and generally defined fully digitalized tools for organizational diagnostics based on eleven selected criteria and seventeen dysfunctions. According to the requirements of the company management, organizational diagnosis is performed in three phases. Most of the applied methods are based on surveys, interviews, tests, observations, discussions and documentation analysis. Conclusions. Our research shows that the use of digital tools reduces the number of diagnostic phases and provides lower resource input for implementation. Nevertheless, the effort required for the design of diagnostic systems is very high and requires fulfilment of general and specific requirements. In this article, we present the general requirements for digital tools for organizational diagnostics.

Abstract:
People with Down syndrome (DS), also known as trisomy 21, have seen their life expectancy increase beyond 50 years inducing the onset of AlzheimerOtype dementia (DTA). The consequences of this increase in life expectancy are multiple: difficulty of diagnosing dementia in a population with intellectual disabilities, difficulty of care for this population, etc. Thus, specialised institution and memory clinics remain powerless against the management and diagnosis of this population. Our thesis has aimed to address all the challenges related to this issue. Our work thus highlighted: 1 / this problem concerns both for the elderly than for the disabled, 2 / there is a real difficulty in diagnosing the presence of dementia in this population. To meet this challenge we have developed and tested a diagnostic aid tool. 3 / diagnostic problematic, professional training and support for people in charge of this population (activities, unsuitable premises, insufficient teacher ratio, increasing medicalization, etc.) via organizational modelling the life course of individuals suffering from SD and DTA. This model shows the impact on the evolution of organizations and host institutions and the lack of connection between the health sector and medicoOsocial. Hypothesis and possible solutions are discussed

Mutcheson, Ryan Brock. "Diagnostic Modeling of Intra-Organizational Mechanisms for Supporting Policy Implementation." Diss., Virginia Tech, 2016. http://hdl.handle.net/10919/81307.

Full text
Abstract:
The Virginia Guidelines for Uniform Performance Standards and Evaluation Criteria for Teachers represented a significant overhaul of conventional teacher evaluation criteria in Virginia. The policy outlined seven performance standards by which all Virginia teachers would be evaluated. This study explored the application of cognitive diagnostic modeling to measure teachers' perceptions of intra-organizational mechanisms available to support educational professionals in implementing this policy. It was found that a coarse-grained, four-attribute compensatory, re-parameterized unified model (C-RUM) fit teacher perception data better and had lower standard errors than the competing finer-grained models. The Q-matrix accounted for the complex loadings of items to the four theoretically and empirically driven mechanisms of implementation support including characteristics of the policy, teachers, leadership, and the organization. The mechanisms were positively, significantly, and moderately correlated which suggested that each mechanism captured a different, yet related, component of policy implementation support. The diagnostic profile estimates indicated that the majority of teachers perceived support on items relating to "characteristics of teachers." Moreover, almost 60% of teachers were estimated to belong to profiles with perceived support on "characteristics of the policy." Finally, multiple group multinomial log-linear models (Xu and Von Davier, 2008) were used to analyze the data across subjects, grade levels, and career status. There was lower perceived support by STEM teachers than non-STEM teachers who have the same profile, suggesting that STEM teachers required differential support than non-STEM teachers. The precise diagnostic feedback on the implementation process provided by this application of diagnostic models will be beneficial to policy makers and educational leaders. Specifically, they will be better prepared to identify strengths and weaknesses and target resources for a more efficient, and potentially more effective, policy implementation process. It is assumed that when equipped with more precise diagnostic feedback, policy makers and school leaders may be able to more confidently engage in empirical decision making, especially in regards to targeting resources for short-term and long-term organizational goals subsumed within the policy implementation initiative.

The article presents the results of a study of corporate culture preferences depending on self-regulation and values of specialists working in project organizations for the development of complex technical systems (STS). As the methodological basis of the research, we selected R. Barrett’s concept of the levels of personal and organizational consciousness, the compatibility of personal and organizational values as factors that determine the development and effectiveness of companies in the modern business space (Barret, 1997). The purpose of the study: to determine the dependence of the preferred corporate culture of scientific and production associations by specialists of complex technical systems (STS) on their value orientations and self-regulation styles. Research methods: diagnostics of types of real and preferred corporate culture (Cameron, 2001), questionnaire «style of self-regulation of behavior» (Morosanova, 1988), author’s questionnaire of values based on the R. Barrett model (personal and corporate values), questionnaire «life goals and values» (Klyueva, 1997). Sample: 96 specialists of the STS Research and production Association (56 men and 40 women aged 28 to 55 years, with experience in the organization from 2 to 15 years. Conclusions. STS specialists assess the real corporate culture as bureaucratic and market-oriented. They want a clannish corporate culture or an adhocracy one. With a high level of self-regulation, professionals prefer clan and adhocracy cultures. STS specialists with a low level of self-regulation prefer a bureaucratic corporate culture. STS specialists have the predominant values of life, health and personal growth, and religion and fame are the least Their corporate values belong to the third level of consciousness (self-esteem, self-discipline, confidence, friendliness, influence and power, the effectiveness of the organization in business processes and management system). STS specialists have a high level of self-regulation with a predominance of styles for evaluating results, programming and modeling. Styles of self-regulation of planning, programming, and regulatory-personal properties of flexibility have a medium level, and independence-a low level, which is a consequence of the bureaucratic corporate culture. The obtained results served as a justification for the development of an algorithm for changing the corporate culture of an organization.

Abstract:
This service learning collaboration combines community service with academic learning. With that purpose, a collaboration network was created between the University of Valencia and Escola Gavina, a preschool, primary and secondary school. The objective was twofold, first, it attempts to give postgraduate students the opportunity to carry out a diagnostic of the inter-organizational relations of Escola Gavina. This objective is pursued through collaboration between different entities, which is one of the basis of service learning. Inter-organizational relationships are crucial in today’s society, they are becoming more frequent, and allow some organizations to achieve objectives that would not otherwise be possible. Second, it allows to provide academic and professional orientation to students of secondary school, while stimulating the development of linguistic competences, autonomy, and social interaction. Twenty students from the master's degree and twenty-seven from secondary school participated in the study. The learning process, their self-perceived competence acquisition, and their degree of satisfaction were assessed. In general, the results showed that this collaboration between students from different educational cicles achieved the intendeed objectives.

Abstract:
This study was a diagnostic research, so the content was decomposed according to PIRO : P: Patients diagnosed with sudden death; I: C-reactive protein; R: There is no gold standard for sudden death, and the definition of sudden death varies from literature to literature. The World Health Organization defines sudden death: "Patients who are normally healthy or seemingly healthy die suddenly due to natural diseases in an unexpectedly short period of time." In our study, sudden death is determined by the history, symptoms, physical examination and electrocardiogram results assesed by doctor. If death events were collected from the patients’ medical records, deaths coded using the International Classification of Diseases-9th Revision, codes 410 to 414 for non-SCD and 798.1 for SCD; or the International Classification of Diseases-10th Revision, codes I20 to I25 for non-SCD and I46 for SCD. All deaths registered as sudden deaths were confirmed in interviews with the patient’s physician or family members again. O: sudden death.

Abstract:
This past year’s hard work and significant changes have enabled CPHST—a division of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), APHIS Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) program—to be an organization more capable and better aligned to support and focus on PPQ’s scientific needs. In 2007, CPHST developed the first PPQ strategic plan for CPHST. The plan shows where CPHST is going over the next 5 years, how it is going to get there, and how it will know if it got there or not. Moreover, CPHST plan identifies critical elements of PPQ’s overall strategic plan that must be supported by the science and technology services CPHST provides. The strategic plan was followed by an operational plan, which guarantees that the strategic plan is a living and breathing document. The operational plan identifies the responsibilities and resources needed to accomplish priorities in this fiscal year and measures our progress. CPHST identifies the pathways by which invasive plant pests and weeds can be introduced into the United States. CPHST develops, adapts, and supports technology to detect, identify, and mitigate the impact of invasive organisms. CPHST helps to ensure that the methods, protocols, and equipment used by PPQ field personnel are effective and efficient. All the work of CPHST is identified under one of the five program areas: Agricultural Quarantine Inspection and Port Technology, Molecular Diagnostics and Biotechnology, Response and Recovery Systems Technology, Risk and Pathway Analysis, and Survey Detection and Identification. CPHST scientists are leaders in various fields, including risk assessment, survey and detection, geographic information systems (GIS), molecular diagnostics, biocontrol techniques, methods and treatment, and mass rearing of insects. The following list outlines some of CPHST’s efforts in 2007: Responding to Emergencies, Developing and Supporting Technology for Treatments, Increasing Diagnostic Capacity, and Supporting Trade.

The 1992 Indonesia Norplant® Use-Dynamics Diagnostic Study. Population Council, 1993. http://dx.doi.org/10.31899/rh1993.1001.

Full text
Abstract:
Although the Indonesian Norplant® program is unique in terms of scale and pace of expansion, it also characterizes many of the operational problems that other developing countries are likely to confront as they expand their Norplant programs. Many of the concerns—such as screening and counseling, use-effectiveness, removal on demand, and tracking and notification systems for five-year removal—can only be answered through research on the Indonesian program. As this report states, operations research on issues related to Norplant within the Indonesian program will be of direct relevance to the growing number of Norplant programs in other developing countries. While the Indonesian program represents the largest and most ambitious Norplant program in the world, much remains unknown about many aspects of service delivery and use-dynamics. This survey provides essential information that the BKKBN and other Indonesian and international family planning organizations can use to improve the quality of Norplant services and to increase the effective use of this method.
