Abstract:
In this paper is transformation of traditional organizational diagnostics for the use organizations in the field of agribusiness. The transformation of the methodology is necessary due to the peculiarities of the functional zones of the farm, associated with a limited number of human resources in the state of such an organization, taking into account the fact that each unit of the state will have expanded professional competencies to overlap the functionality of the main organizational zones. The paper uses a methodology for developing diagnostic tables that reveal the degree of severity of the main characteristics with the development of an individual typology for the farm, which allows to identify the root problems of the activity; a diagnostic profile is built, the correlation of the identified problems is carried out using expert analysis. In the course of the work, six key functional zones were identified, the analysis of which allows us to diagnose the state of the farm at the current time and formulate the degree of problems and the presence of bottlenecks that require operational management influence. The algorithm developed in this paper is universal for conducting a comprehensive analysis and diagnosis of the state of farming.

The article deals with the company's transition to management based on a process approach. This approach is the basis for the introduction of lean-production, which has been especially popular in recent years in Russia. Company executives do not always understand how to start changes. The authors have developed diagnostic matrices in three areas: Management Processes, Organizational Culture, and Organizational Systems. Using an expert assessment of the proposed criteria, the manager can understand the current level of company development and identify problems in each area. Developed diagnostic matrices consider the analysis of processes in the dynamics of transformation of company policy from reactive to proactive.

Abstract:
Urgency of the research. Current development of digital technologies is driven by megatrends. Companies follow these trends and try to extend digital solutions to all areas of business. Target setting. Application of digital tools would be particularly practical for decentral executing companies. However, they have not yet been fully implemented, as the technological potential has not yet been sufficiently researched and adopted for the described purpose. Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. The literature analysis revealed that at present, digital tools are still not widely used for organizational purposes. Furthermore, humans still predominantly perform many diagnostic functions. Uninvestigated parts of general matters defining. In the course of a literature analysis of existing tools of organizational diagnosis, we encountered a lack of references to fully digitalized solutions. The research objective. The task is to analyze which of the examined criteria and dysfunctions of the organization can be diagnosed by digital tools; how conventional methods can be replaced; what are the advantages and disadvantages of digital organizational analysis, as well as which requirements must be met for implementation. The statement of basic materials. In this article, we compare conventional and generally defined fully digitalized tools for organizational diagnostics based on eleven selected criteria and seventeen dysfunctions. According to the requirements of the company management, organizational diagnosis is performed in three phases. Most of the applied methods are based on surveys, interviews, tests, observations, discussions and documentation analysis. Conclusions. Our research shows that the use of digital tools reduces the number of diagnostic phases and provides lower resource input for implementation. Nevertheless, the effort required for the design of diagnostic systems is very high and requires fulfilment of general and specific requirements. In this article, we present the general requirements for digital tools for organizational diagnostics.

Abstract:
Purpose The majority of job demands-resources (JD-R) research has focused on identifying the job demands, job resources, and personal resources that influence engagement. The purpose of this paper is to assess the significance of proposed associations between organizationally focused resources, organizational engagement climate, and engagement. Design/methodology/approach The authors tested a model proposing that six specific organizational resources would have positive associations with organizational engagement climate, and positive direct and indirect associations with job resources and employee engagement. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling (SEM) were conducted on cross-sectional survey data provided by 1,578 employees working in a range of different organizations. Findings The CFA and SEM analyses yielded good fit to the data. As proposed, all six organizational resources were positively associated with organizational engagement climate. Four were positively associated with job resources, and two were positively associated with engagement. Organizational engagement climate was positively associated with job resources and employee engagement. Significant indirect relationships were also observed. Research limitations/implications Despite self-reported data and a cross-sectional design, tests of common method variance did not suggest substantive method effects. Overall, the results contribute new insights about what may influence engagement, and highlight the importance of organizational engagement climate as a motivational construct. Practical implications The research offers up potentially useful measures of six organizational resources and a measure of organizational engagement climate that can complement and broaden the current focus on job-level diagnostics. As such, targeted management action and survey feedback processes can be used to identify processes to build sustainable organizational engagement capability. Originality/value No previous research has identified a comprehensive set of organizational resources, operationalized organizational engagement climate, or examined their relationships within a JD-R context. The results suggest that the JD-R can perhaps usefully be extended to include more organizationally focused constructs.

Abstract:
Introduction. Effective and stable functioning of agrarian business entities in today's economic environment requires consideration of external threats and risks, which actualizes the need for security management as a multifaceted phenomenon, some aspects of which have not been sufficiently studied. That is why the study of organizational and legal security, and especially the development of methodology for its evaluation is considered urgent and timely. The purpose of the study is to develop a methodological approach to assess the level of organizational and legal security of agrarian business entities. Results. Existing approaches in determining economic security have been investigated in order to substantiate the methodology for evaluating organizational and legal security: functional, indicator, expert, matrix, system, resource and functional. Their advantages and disadvantages are identified. The models of methodological approaches to assessing economic security in terms of types of indicators have been generalized. The author's methodical approach to the assessment of organizational and legal security is proposed as a qualimetric model, which covers 2 components, each of which is decomposed into spheres. The organizational component includes the following: the organizational structure effectiveness, the power hierarchy, the system of powers delegation and the motivation system. The legal component combines: product quality control, sales process, payroll and annual leave, introduction of all forms of reporting, financial discipline, control of environmental standards. The essence of the methodological approach involves peer review on the scale developed. The description of the four ranges is provided for the resulting values (safe state, sufficiently stable, presence of tangible problems, unsatisfactory state) for enterprises with two integral values for organizational and legal components. Keywords: agrarian business entities, organizational and legal security, qualimetric model, economic security, expert evaluation.

Abstract:
Introduction. Ensuring the effectiveness in special circumstances is the most important factor of good implementation of the system of controlling, monitoring and diagnostics in the management practice of an agricultural enterprise. It means to be able to adapt to the conditions of formation and implementation of innovations. Obviously, this requires not only expanding the functionality of controlling, monitoring and diagnostics, but also a corresponding reorganization of management practices. Methods. Studies were conducted on the basis of general scientific methods, abstract and logical, and constructive methods. The methodological basis in preparing the material made dialectical method of knowledge of social and economic phenomena. Results. In the course of the research, the conditions for the functional efficiency development of the controlling, monitoring and diagnostics system as a coordinating system of the enterprise management were analyzed. It is established that unjustified differentiation of economic activity leads to the loss of connecting links. In this way, the monitoring function is limited by the capabilities of local controlling. The new essence of effective organization of management practice of an agricultural enterprise with the transition of its perception from the traditional model to the modern one is proved. The main function of the system of controlling, monitoring and diagnostics is determined by the goal-setting of management practice. It is proposed to use the principles of adaptive organization of the agricultural enterprise to implement the functional load of the controlling, monitoring and diagnostics system. Discussion. An adaptive organization is a dynamic system. So it requires appropriate indicators to track processes in a diverse dimension. Moreover, the effectiveness of the implementation of processes requires diagnostics for determine its optimality for replication in the current and future activities of enterprises. Determining optimality attributes requires appropriate monitoring and quick updating. Therefore, the main perspective is in systematization the information functions of controlling, monitoring and diagnostics and integrating them into the management activities of agricultural enterprises. Abstract:
The article presents order approach to diagnosis of organizational culture. Diagnostics allows to single out the dominant suborders, thus, identifying cultural “code”, which is composed of the first letters of the suborder names. In the process of analysis of 18 selected cases of organizational culture diagnostics, which had been carried out within the framework of the order approach to study of organizational culture over the period of time from 2009 until 2018, it was found out that each code is consistently bound to a specific type of task, which is relevant for the organization during the diagnostics period. Six types of codes were singled out, each of them has certain types of organizational tasks to be solved: 1) А-C-F (breakthrough type of activity under conditions of deficit of time); 2) C-A-F (breakthrough type of activity under conditions of ample time); 3) C-F-А (promotes the formation of “corporate religion”), 4) F-А-C (start of activity or its restart); 5) F-C-А (stabilization after a period of extreme activity); 6) А-F-C (organization survival code). It has been shown that understanding the relationship between organization’s culture code and its task allows the organization’s management to consciously take necessary managerial decisions to correct its organizational culture.

Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this is to explore the potential of the combined use of the viable system model (VSM) and social network analysis (SNA) to identify organizational pathologies. Design/methodology/approach Using a well-documented case study based on an academic consultancy intervention and Action Research Project, participative methods for the diagnostic of the VSM and questionnaires for the collection of connectivity data for the SNA were used to develop a heuristic to integrate these two tools and identify organizational pathologies. Findings This study provides empirical evidence of the benefits of the combined use of SNA to enhance the identification of organizational pathologies in VSM interventions, by providing an additional qualitative and quantitative framework for the interpretation of findings coming from VSM organizational diagnostics. Research limitations/implications This work explores some analytic routines of SNA frequently used in management. The validation is constrained to the nature of the data set from a case study. The document invites to a discussion of further and more advanced applications on the integration of the VSM and SNA. Practical implications The enhanced identification of organizational pathologies can contribute to the emerging new interest in applications of the VSM in management, providing robustness to the structural analysis of organizations. Originality/value This paper proposes a guideline to exploit the potential of the combined use of SNA and VSM. It opens new avenues for the study of organizational pathologies.

Abstract:
Development of technical base, software, accumulated information on the diagnosis of the respiratory system provided the prerequisites for creating remote diagnostics of the human respiratory system through auscultation. The known methods do not solve the problem of determining auscultation points at patent´s housing without a diagnostic specialist. The purpose of this study is to develop a method for remote diagnostics of the respiratory system which provides ability to determine the points of auscultation without presence of a diagnostic specialist. The definition of auscultation points is provided using a computer program that allows to calculate the points´ coordinates based on the coordinates of points that determine the anatomical structure of the patient's torso. The patient or his assistant places the recording device at the auscultation points combining their images on the display with the image of the location of the recording device. The signal recorded at the auscultation point is remotely transmitted to a specialist for direct analysis and/or computer processing. The diagnostic module consists of two main units. The first unit contains a stethoscope, microphone, and amplifier connected to a mobile phone or other similar device containing an accelerometer. The patient or his assistant at the housing uses the unit. The second unit is a mobile phone with a mechanical marker or a computer with the ability to access the network in conjunction with the necessary software and is used remotely by a diagnostic specialist. The layout of the unit for recording and transmitting breath sounds was made. To avoid discrepancies in the diagnostic results the technical characteristics of the module elements must be normalized. Unified software is required for the module to function. The organizational tasks that need to be solved for the implementation of diagnostics are formulated.Use of the method of remote diagnostics of the respiratory system, providing the ability to determine points of auscultation without the direct presence of a diagnostic specialist and the module will allow increasing efficiency of treatment of pulmonary diseases reduce infection risks and economic costs.

Abstract:
Abstract Objectives Healthcare organizations need to rapidly adapt to new technology, policy changes, evolving payment strategies, and other environmental changes. We report on the development and application of a structured methodology to support technology and process improvement in healthcare organizations, Systematic Iterative Organizational Diagnostics (SIOD). SIOD was designed to evaluate clinical work practices, diagnose technology and workflow issues, and recommend potential solutions. Materials and Methods SIOD consists of five stages: (1) Background Scan, (2) Engagement Building, (3) Data Acquisition, (4) Data Analysis, and (5) Reporting and Debriefing. Our team applied the SIOD approach in two ambulatory clinics and an integrated ambulatory care center and used SIOD components during an evaluation of a large-scale health information technology transition. Results During the initial SIOD application in two ambulatory clinics, five major analysis themes were identified, grounded in the data: putting patients first, reducing the chaos, matching space to function, technology making work harder, and staffing is more than numbers. Additional themes were identified based on SIOD application to a multidisciplinary clinical center. The team also developed contextually grounded recommendations to address issues identified through applying SIOD. Discussion The SIOD methodology fills a problem identification gap in existing process improvement systems through an emphasis on issue discovery, holistic clinic functionality, and inclusion of diverse perspectives. SIOD can diagnose issues where approaches as Lean, Six Sigma, and other organizational interventions can be applied. Conclusion The complex structure of work and technology in healthcare requires specialized diagnostic strategies to identify and resolve issues, and SIOD fills this need.
