Abstract:
This article presents an attempt to reconstruct the so-called “Dionysian religion” of Vyacheslav Ivanov. Some original pre-religia, which was designated by Ivanov as a primitive “female monotheism” or telimonotheism, in its cult aspect, represents “female orgiasm” or the worship of an “invariably-residing female deity”. In the process of its historical evolution, it requires a “male correlate in the face of a periodically born and dying God” - and eventually finds it in the person of Dionysus, i.e., in the building up the Dionysian religion, which in its essence is still determined by the archetypal feminine principle. It is important that Ivanov's work is built on extremely extensive factual material, including a vast arsenal of documentary evidence and interpretive principles. At the same time, his innovation consisted in the rejection of positivistic methods and in the search for a way of more adequate penetration into the ancient religious consciousness. At the end of the proposed excursion it is noted that the Dionysian theory of Ivanov, already sufficiently well studied by philosophers and philologists, has not yet been awarded by the attention of religious scholars and historians of religion, and the more so theologians...

Abstract:
Abstract: Carlos Diegues’s Orpheus, 1999, one of the few contemporary films to focus on blacks, makes the traditional panegyric of the African descendents for their musical skills. Vinicius de Moraes, with his play Orfeu da Conceição, on which Black Orpheus (1959) and Diegues’s Orpheus were based, intended to universalise black music (therefore Brazilian music), upgrading it from its low class niche associated with carnival orgies and voodoo trances, to the sublime experience of absolute love. To that end, he resorted to the enchanting power of music contained in the Orphic myth, in a clearly anti-realistic attitude. When he adapted de Moraes, Diegues added a realistic dimension to the story, while trying to keep the mythic and tragic ones. Indeed, in the film, the utopia of black paradise merges with the hard reality of Rio slums. Keywords: Brazilian cinema; black; Orpheus.

In this article, new etymologies for two Old High German words are proposed. Old High German musina ‘bag, satchel’ is explained as a loanword from Slavonic (cf. Old Church Slavonic mošьna ‘bag’), Old High German orgina ‘bit’ as a loanword from Middle Latin *orginum ‘iron ring’. Abstract:
In-group members can display a sense of solidarity by earning license to direct verbal putdowns toward one another in the presence of others. An explanation of the process by which in-group members can maintain a sense of solidarity through putdowns in everyday life, however, is lacking in the literature. Set in a corner donut shop in southern California, this article describes how a group of old straight white middle-class men direct improvisational putdowns toward each other and explains how this banter maintains a sense of group solidarity for these men. The article puts forth a view of ritual insult in the form of “humor orgies” as emergent interactional phenomena characterized by successive, situation-dependent turns whereby group members play with interpersonal meanings in “givin’ it” “on top” and “takin’ it” “on bottom.” The findings raise questions about the extent to which superiority theories of humor are adequate and also suggest a need for ethnographies of everyday improvisational humor in public, non-workplace settings.

Abstract:
The present investigation discusses the phenomenological concept of the phenomenon through an interpretation of the meaning of the negativity of the phenomenon in the philosophical works of Martin Heidegger, Jan Patočka and Eugen Fink. This negativity is thematised in terms of a loss and a privation that leads to a description of the appearing of the phenomenon as a sublime event, which exposes existence to an absence of meaning. A formulation of the absence in question as a dynamic movement of existence opens a new perspective on what it means to do phenomenology: phenomenological thinking does not begin with the immediate givenness of appearance, but through the trembling of meaning in the experience of a loss of the phenomenon.

Abstract:
In August 1985, the same year Abacaxi was published, Reinaldo Moraes wrote a very tricky review of his second novel. Disguised under a pseudonym, the author regarded his work as a legitimate representative of Machado de Assis\' legacy. Despite the playful tone and the text\'s purposed irony which are stylistic traits of the author , the falacious article may be read as an outline for a literary project. The central idea behind Moraes\' literary project seems to be the search for a narrative strategy that is able at least in part to give form to the context in which it operates. The aim of this work is to describe how the literary form pursued by the author evolves from his first novel, Tanto Faz (1981) unfolding into Abacaxi (1985), in a kind of icontinuous trajectory just to find its final form in the making of Pornopopeia (2009). As it may be seem in the internal dynamics of the novels, a horizon of reduced expectations is carefully laid out over the twenty eight years periode that lead to the production of Reinaldo Moraes\' works. His narrators are on the run; and always represent the meeting of the impasse.

Abstract:
Hermann Nitsch's Theatre of Orgies and Mysteries (Orgien Mysterien Theater) grew out of the painful context of post-Fascist Austria. Although Austria had welcomed annexation with Germany in 1938 and the Austrians had been eager collaborators with the Nazis from the outset, as soon as the war was over, they portrayed themselves as victims, denying responsibility for or active participation in Nazi crimes, preferring to blame everything on their German neighbours. In this loathsome atmosphere, in which the majority of the intellectuals of the time remained silent, Hermann Nitsch set up his Theater, using a highly radical, visual language.Contrary to what one might suppose, however, it was not political art.And in fact, after the initial visual shock, the Theater was, above all, philosophical and anthropological. Nitsch maintained that modern man, stripped of mythology, was no longer in harmony with his essence. Postmodern societies, which he deemed alienating, were responsible for a semantic breach between the material and the spiritual. The experience of the Theater, through ritual and its emphasis on anthropological principles of invariance, was a way for the individual to rid himself of societal determinism in order to gain access to continuous knowledge (Bataille). Thus, the Theatre of Orgies andMysteries is a multi-referential, transhistoric work situated on the cusp of micro- and macro-history. Nitsch has stated that "the creative process and the Theater must contribute towards forming a unity with the whole" so as to "erase the difference between immanence and transcendence". All of the activities proposed by Nitsch consist in rituals, sometimes of life and sometimes of death, but all with the aim of erasing the immanence/transcendence dichotomy. Hermann Nitsch's Theater adapts inborn symbolic language (in the Freudian sense) and old traditions in an attempt to demonstrate to the modernindividual that the universe that surrounds them, despite its diversity, is a coherent whole, a surviving continuity in which they participate.a

Abstract:
The present study aims to establish a dialogue between the discourses produced by FRELIMO during the process of independence in their first years of government and two literary works: O regresso do morto (1989), by Suleiman Cassamo and Orgia dos loucos (1990) bt Ungulani Ba Ka Khosa. Throughout its constitution as a colonialism resistance movement and after independence, as a political party, FRELIMO established several guidelines for government in order to build a mozambican nation that repudiated the mechanisms of colonial exploitation, promoting equality and respect between all mozambican populations, thus enabling improvements in the quality of life of these populations. The two works here studied, however, belong to the literary movement called Charrua, which sought to promote reflections on the situation in Mozambique after nearly a decade of independence, allowing the observation of problems and contradictions related to the social reality of the country, reflecting on how this reality approaches or moves away of the objectives proposed by FRELIMO. In order to observe these contradictions, during the research were used some speeches by Samora Machel, such as A libertação da mulher é uma necessidade da revolução, garantia de sua continuidade, condição de seu triunfo, 1973, and Educar o homem para vencer a guerra, criar uma sociedade nova e desenvolver a pátria, also from 1973, in addicion to several researches by historians, political scientists and anthopologists. In O regresso do morto we can observe a certain acquiescence to FRELIMO speeches regarding their proposition of an ideal of nation during the process of independence and along the first years of government. Through narratives that convey the hope of a free and independent nation, achieved through each individual mozambican efforts, Cassamo reaffirms possibilities of harmonious cohabitation between the mozambican populations and the overcoming of obstacles due to the hard colonial process, according to the principles already established by FRELIMO speeches. Khosa, however, chooses to build in his narratives, plots that point to the failure of these discourses in the new mozambican society, highlighting the fragmentation imposed by years of colonialism as well as the distance of the mozambican government of the countrys social reality, hindering the access to the mozambican populations to basic services and a full experience of their cultures and differences.

Abstract:
Evidence suggest that low birth weight and/or postnatal catch-up growth increase the risk for long term cardiovascular diseases (hypertension especially). Their role on the progression of chronic kidney disease is less evident. The mechanism is incompletely known. Nephron number deficit, associated with low birth weight, may play an important role. In such a condition, an adaptative single nephron glomerular hyperfiltration to meet excretory demands may lead overtime to renal damages. However this hypothesis is still questionable. In the rat, through two experimental models of intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR), we have shown that adverse long term vascular and renal functions are highly dependent on the severity of nephron number deficit. Moreover, we have demonstrated that a rapid neonatal catch-up growth plays a determinant role. Neonatal overfeeding and a high protein diet following IUGR accelerate the expression of hypertension and the progression of chronic kidney disease. Long term vascular and renal diseases may thus result from a mismatch between adverse fetal environment and postnatal beneficial environment. In human prospective epidemiological studies are needed with the aim to evaluate the effect of postnatal nutrition and to determine early markers for future preventive studies

Abstract:
The intendants establish an officers’s particular body who deal with the support of the common life of the soldier. They are create in 1815 and replace captains of the wars and inspectors in reviews. Their study includes two parts. The first one intended to present their general social and military characteristics. It includes the following domains : - the geographical origine, - the age and the rank in the marriage, - the profession of the fathers and the fathers in law, - the composition and the amount of dowries, - files of wedding authorization request, - applications for a scholarship for military academies, - place of the private life in the appreciations given by their supériors, - the origin of the recruitment (graduests of St. Cyr, graduests of Polytechnique prestige engineering school, soldiers), - the causes of ends of carreer, - big events of the career (entered the body of control of the administration, interruptions of service, tranfers). - the questioning of the military estate management after the defeat of 1870, in particular its place face to face of the command ; - the place of the officers of administration et of the military medical officers, - the image of the bursars among the others officers. The second parts explains the progesses of careers, il contains the following domains : - the results of the schooling in military academies and their influence in the appreciations given by their superiors, and of the promotion ; - the careers in the element of the army of origin (influence of the appreciations, the congratulations and the punishments) ; - the conditions of the passage in the estate management (the competition, the administrative training), - the careers in the estate management (the influence of the career in the weapon origin, the roles of the origin and of the appreciations in the access of the various ranks, the progressions of the careers according to the passage in the second rank)
