The study aimed to determine some surface parameters such as surface roughness and color changes of thermally modified Oriental beech (Fagus orientalis L.) wood samples after 750 hours of artificial weathering. The results of the study showed that artificial weathering led to an increase in surface roughness of Oriental beech wood. Thermal modification interval of 210 °C - 230 °C gave a smoother surface than unmodified samples after artificial weathering. Artificial weathering caused darker, reddish, and yellowish tone of unmodified and thermally modified Oriental beech wood. According to the

The ecological consequence is an aging beech overstory with little or no regeneration to replace the mature trees. The key problem of forestry is the deterioration of the sanitary condition of plantations, which de-termines the need for forest protection measures in the form of sanitary logging. The purpose of the study is to obtain new information about the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of forest ecosystems, to assess the sanitary condition of plantations of the main forest−forming species of the Republic of Crimea, as well as to analyze the growth and development of plantations in the Alushta forestry. In the course of the work, 4 sample areas were laid, on which the forestry and taxation

The object-oriented programming paradigm serves as the basisfor the most used programming languages nowadays, where largescale projects take advantage of certain characteristics, such ascode reuse, encapsulation, better organization on the system design, and consequently the improvement on the maintainabilityof software in general. These features are intrinsic in the objectorientedparadigm. However, preparing professionals to work assystems analysts or developers for projects based in this paradigmhas been shown difficult in academia, since it is necessary to understanda set of abstract concept

Forest ecosystems are an important component of the global carbon cycle. Changes in the forest carbon cycle were determined by considering the biological structures at the leaf and stand level. However, there is no consensus on the nature of productivity at the individual tree scale. The mass growth rate of trees, and thus carbon deposition, differs depending on the size and age of the trees. In this study, the role of old monumental trees, which provide a wide variety of ecological functions and environmental benefits, in carbon storage was investigated. Because nowadays, the importance of mo

This work presents an interface for a Skin Cancer Sublanguage, which uses a non-SQL oriented database technology, called MongoDB,implementing the concept of Natural Language Interfaceto Databases (NLIDB). When compared to relational databases,No-SQL (Not Only SQL) mechanism is more scalable, it providessuperior performance and addresses several issues that a relationalmodel is not designed to solve. All obtained words and their variationsare labeled and stored in a MongoDB database, thus allowingcustomized queries to search and join morphemes. A dictionarywill be used to build dialogs, narrativ
