Abstract:
In current linguistic researches special attention is paid to the linguistic nature of the views of a native speaker on the views of an ethnocommunity on phenomena in the world through the continuity of «language-ethnicity-culture». Accordingly, the mental image that formed under the subtext of ethnocultural semantics of phraseological units created through using ornitonymic components of the Kazakh language is based on the interrelated continuity of the ethnic group’s ideas about the world of birds and the real world. The goal of the research is to perceptvarious fragments of the world picture (worldview) by considering ornitonymic phraseological units in the linguocultural and linguocognitive aspects. As for the scientific and practical significance of the research work, ornitonymic phrasemes are a lexical unit that includes such complex categories as ethnicity, worldview, culture and mentality. Since the article considers problems of such fields of science as cultural linguistics, cognitive linguistics, phraseosemantics, ethnolinguistics, it helps to replenish the theoretical base of these fields and enrich their practical content. Practical results of the research can be reasonably used in lecture materials on a particular research area within the framework of the anthropocentric paradigm, in coursework and graduate work, and in materials of independently conducted research. During the analysis of the ethnomarker image of ornitonymic phraseological units, indecomposable phrases created through the use of ornitonymic components were collected from «Phraseological Dictionaries of the Kazakh Language» (I. Kenesbaev, A. Kaidar, G. Smagulova) and they were comprehensively studied by using descriptive, comparative, explanatory methods through contextual, linguistic and cultural analysis. In this research, the special object of study is ornitonymic phraseological units that are comprehensively examined from a theoretical and practical point of view within the framework of the anthropocentric paradigm. Phrasemes formed by combining ornitonymic components play a significant role in demonstrating ethnocultural heritage in the language of the nation. In the research, the continuity of the parallel between worlds of «birds and people» is shown through the description and use of the ethnocultural meaning of ornithonym phrasemes. Value and practical significance of the research: studying ornitonymic phrases is mainly focused not only on conveying names of birds and their allegorical meanings, but also on the unity of the ethnic group that cannot be separated from the natural world. The priority of the research work is to consider the origin and formation of ornitonymic phrasemes, their cultural semantics, scope of application and semantic field in various aspects. Ornithonymic phraseology accumulates such characteristics of an ethnos as character, behavior, culture, worldview, and through linguistic units it forms an ornithonymic picture of the world in the human mind. Thus, in ornitonymic phraseological units the original national peculiarity of the ethnos and the cognitive activity of imaginative thinking are shown.

Abstract:
The article discusses the conceptual importance of ornithonyms in the linguistic picture of the world in an anthropolinguistic aspect. The role of birds in the culture of an ethnos is considered in conjunction with social and ethnocultural factors. The culture and knowledge of the ethnos about ornithonyms accumulated by the ethnos over the centuries, its spiritual life is considered in continuity with extralinguistic factors. The concept of “Bird” in the picture of the world is evaluated as human value and reflects the ethnic specificity of anthropological knowledge. Ornithology in the linguistic image of the world on the basis of the concept can reveal the knowledge of the world by an ethnos, the culture of an ethnos and the worldview of representatives of an ethnographic association. The conceptual significance of ornithology in the linguistic picture of the world is reflected in the context of “Nature – Man – Bird” through linguistic cognitive units, in combination with a national worldview and ethnos culture.

Abstract:
= This paper examines phraseological and paremiological units that include entomonyms (names of insects) and ornitonyms (names of birds) as components in two South Slavic languages: Serbian and Bulgarian. The focus is specifically on those units that reference humans. The objective is to conduct a semantic analysis of the extracted material and to explore the similarities and differences in the attribution of human characteristics through these units. Additionally, the study aims to highlight the peculiarities in how Serbian and Bulgarian speakers describe and express their world, as well as to determine which concepts are most commonly assigned by these units. The analysis of phraseological units revealed seven phraseosemantic fields, into which 90 concepts were classified. Meanwhile, paremiological units were categorized into 13 lexico-semantic groups. Our findings indicated that more than one-third of the concepts had equivalent phrasemes, while the percentage for paremiological units was significantly lower, at only one-quarter of the concepts, which was anticipated. Furthermore, the analysis identified muva (fly) as the most frequently used entomonym in both languages. In terms of ornitonyms, guska (goose) was the most prevalent in Serbian, while kokoška (hen) was the most frequent in Bulgarian.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the research of the specifics of the concept of “bird” and its connotations (semantic markers) as representatives of the Ukrainian mentality in B. Antonenko-Davydovych’s literary heritage. The ornithosphere has an important place in the ethno-cultural world structure of the Ukrainian people: it is not only a part of the natural environment, but also a deep symbol of spiritual, social, moral and cultural values. The writer actively refers to traditional folk symbols. In his works, birds embody archetypes that convey important themes for the Ukrainian mentality. In literary studies, concepts represent reality through the prism of the artist’s imagination and experience, in particular, the concept of “bird” has a symbolic character and is related to the cultural traditions of Ukrainians, outlines the peculiarities of their mentality. Concepts contain additional information about the characters of the works of art, the author’s value system, his initial idea, leading ideas and experiences. In B. Antonenko-Davydovych’s creation ornitonyms form the concept of “bird”, which, through metaphorization, connotations and associations, allows a deeper understanding of the worldview and value system of both the writer and the whole nation, whose representative he is. Connotations strengthen the concept, actualize additional expressive shades, intensify the meaning of birds in the minds of the recipients, helping to better understand the psychological experiences of the characters and the sociocultural context. Birds become symbols not only of nature, but also of human relationships, choices and ways of self-determination. In B. Antonenko-Davydovych’s literary works we highlight the functioning of ornithonym concepts in the stories “Semen Ivanovych Palokha”, “Leleky ne znakhodiat svoikh hnizd”, “Kryla Artema Letiuchoho”, “Chyria”, “Zolotyi korablyk”, “Iak soloveiko stav chyzhem”. The concept of “bird” in the writer’s creation has the following semantic connotations: harbinger of spring, awakening of nature, offspring, harvest; family, procreation, parental home, motherhood; dream, person’s spiritual “winging”; unquenchable thirst for freedom; talent, giftedness.
