The study assessed consumers’ preference for common exotic vegetables (<em>cabbage, cucumber, watermelon, lettuce and spring onion</em>) among consumers in Oyo and Kano State, Nigeria. A random sampling technique was used to collect primary data on consumers’ characteristics, preference for the vegetables and budget share on the vegetables. Data collected were analyzed through the use of frequency distribution, percentages and linear regression model.
