Abstract Abstract 4799 Objective In the present study, EPO-induced K562 cell line was used to be the cell model of erythroid differentiation, the role and mechanism of transcript factor SCL/TAL-1 in the erythropoiesis was investigated. Methods Three plasmids, which included pTRIPdU3-RNAiTALh -EF1a-GFP (SCL/TAL1 shRNA to reduce the expression of SCL/TAL-1), pTRIP-EF1a-TAL1 (SCL/TAL-1 cDNA to enhance the expression of SCL/TAL-1) and control plasmid pTRIP-dU3-RNAiluc-EF1-GFP expressing EGFP gene, were transfected into K562 cell line via lentiviral vector system, and K562 SCL/TAL-1low, K562 SCL/TAL-1high and K562 LUC (control) were established and the effect of reducing or enhancing the expression of SCL/TAL-1 on the erythropoiesis of these three cell lines was investigated. After incubated with EPO-RPMI1640 medium in which EPO induced K562 cell line into erythropoiesis for 5 day, the mRNA levels of SCL/TAL-1 and erythroid related RhD, GPA, CD47 were detected by RT-PCR assay and erythroid antigen CD71, CD235a were examined by flow cytometry in the three cell lines. Effect of SCL/TAL-1 on key phosphorylated proteins, including p-PTEN, p-Akt, p-mTOR, p-P70 and p-4EBP-1 from PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway and p-c-Raf, p-MEK and p-ERK1/2 from Raf/MEK/ERK pathway, in the downstream of EGFR signaling pathway were checked by Western Blot assay. Effect of MEK-ERK 1/2 inhibitor U0126 on the expression of SCL/TAL1 also examined. Results 1. After 48h of transfect, more than 95% of K562 cells were GFP positive under the fluorescence microscope, indicating that infection rate of the plasmids in the K562 cells was more than 95%. 2. The results of RT-PCR showed SCL/TAL-1 mRNA expression in the K562 SCL/TAL-1low was significantly lower than that in the K562 LUC control (P <0.05). The mRNA levels of CD47 and RhD was also significantly lower and however, GPA just decreased slightly in comparison with the control. The mRNA levels of above erythroid antigens increased a little in K562-SCL/TAL-1high. 3. The FCM results showed the expression of CD71, CD235a obviously reduced in the K562 SCL/TAL-1low and positive rates were 10.4% and 76.5%, while the positive rates in the LUC control were 94.3% and 83.6%. The expression of CD71 and CD235a in K562-SCL/TAL-1high was similar to the control. 4. The level of p-MEK and p-ERK1/2 increased with transfect of SCL/TAL-1 cDNA and decreased after SCL/TAL-1 RNA interference. However, there were no obvious changes to be observed in PI3K-Akt-mTOR pathway, another important signal pathway. 5. There was no obvious alteration in SCL/TAL-1 level after treatment of MEK-ERK1/2 inhibitor, although MEK-ERK1/2 level reduced. Conclusion Our findings suggest that transcription factor SCL/TAL-1 plays a positive role in erythroid differentiation in EPO-induced K562 cell line. SCL/TAL-1 is located in the upstream of MEK-ERK1/2 and may regulate erythroid differentiation by affecting the phosphorylation levels of MEK-ERK1/2 pathway. Abstract:
Background: Tendo-Achilles lengthening (TAL) and gastrocnemius recession (GR) are components of the operative treatment for certain foot conditions. We investigated changes in rabbit gastrocsoleus weight, volume, and percent fat resulting from TAL, GR, and immobilization. Materials and Methods: Eighteen rabbits were randomized into three groups. Group I = gastrocnemius recession; Group II = (TAL) Z-plasty lengthening; Group III = immobilization only. Treatment limbs were randomized. Six randomly selected contralateral limbs were used for controls. At 12 weeks the gastrocnemius and soleus were weighed (g) and measured (ml) separately. Values were combined and analyzed as a gastrocsoleus complex. The weight, volume, and percentage of fatty infiltration were analyzed using one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). Results: The following differences were statistically significant. GR volume was less than control ( p < 0.01); TAL weight and volume was less than control ( p < 0.01); GR percent fat was greater than control ( p < 0.05) and TAL percent fat was greater than control ( p < 0.05). GR weight and volume was less than cast only ( p < 0.01); TAL weight and volume was less than cast only ( p < 0.01); TAL percent fat was greater than cast only ( p < 0.01); GR percent fat was greater than cast only ( p < 0.05); GR weight was greater than TAL ( p < 0.05). Conclusion: In a rabbit model, the findings suggest the gastrocsoleus undergoes atrophy and fatty infiltration after TAL or GR. Immobilization does not contribute to either process. Clinical Relevance: These findings correlate with human functional studies documenting the relationship between TAL or GR and decrease in plantarflexion strength. Further studies are needed to determine if significant variation in functional differences due to TAL versus GR exists.

Abstract This study investigated gestational regulation of transient receptor potential canonical (TrpC) proteins, putative calcium entry channels in human myometrium, and the potential modulation of TrpC expression by IL–1β, a cytokine implicated in labor. Total RNA and proteins were isolated from myometrial biopsies obtained from NP women, pregnant women at term not in labor (TNL), or term active labor (TAL) and from primary cultured human myometrial smooth muscle cells incubated with IL–1β or IL–1β with or without nimesulide. Semiquantitative RT-PCR demonstrated significant up-regulation of TrpC1 in TAL and TNL (P ≤ 0.01) and TrpC6 (P ≤ 0.01) and TrpC7 (P ≤ 0.05) in TAL samples. TrpC3 and TrpC4 mRNA expression was unaffected. Western blot demonstrated significant up-regulation of TrpC1 in TAL and TNL (P ≤ 0.05) and TrpC3 (P ≤ 0.01), TrpC4 (P ≤ 0.05), and TrpC6 (P ≤ 0.01) in TAL samples. IL–1β did not alter TrpC1, 3, 4, 6, or 7 mRNA expression; but IL–1β exclusively up-regulated TrpC3 protein expression (P ≤ 0.05). TrpC3 up-regulation was unaffected by cyclooxygenase blockade. These data demonstrate physiological regulation of TrpC mRNA and protein and suggest an important role for TrpC proteins in human myometrium during labor.

Abstract:
OBJECTIVE The rule of Spence is inaccurate for assessing integrity of the transverse atlantal ligament (TAL). Because CT is quick and easy to perform at most trauma centers, the authors propose a novel sequence of obtaining 2 CT scans to improve the diagnosis of TAL impairment. The sensitivity of a new CT-based method for diagnosing a TAL injury in a cadaveric model was assessed. METHODS Ten human cadaveric occipitocervical specimens were mounted horizontally in a supine posture with wooden inserts attached to the back of the skull to maintain a neutral or flexed (10°) posture. Specimens were scanned in neutral and flexed postures in a total of 4 conditions (3 conditions in each specimen): 1) intact (n = 10); either 2A) after a simulated Jefferson fracture with an intact TAL (n = 5) or 2B) after a TAL disruption with no Jefferson fracture (n = 5); and 3) after TAL disruption and a simulated Jefferson fracture (n = 10). The atlantodental interval (ADI) and cross-sectional canal area were measured. RESULTS From the neutral to the flexed posture, ADI increased an average of 2.5% in intact spines, 6.25% after a Jefferson fracture without TAL disruption, 34% after a TAL disruption without fracture, and 25% after TAL disruption with fracture. The increase in ADI was significant with both TAL disruption and TAL disruption and fracture (p < 0.005) but not in the other 2 conditions (p > 0.6). Changes in spinal canal area were not significant (p > 0.70). CONCLUSIONS This novel method was more sensitive than the rule of Spence for evaluating the integrity of the TAL on CT and does not increase the risk of further neurological damage.

This paper seeks to resolve certain questions pertaining to the relationship between gender and second language vocabulary knowledge. One question we examine is whether female and male ESL students at the University of California at Irvine differ significantly in their knowledge of academic vocabulary in English as measured by scores on the Test of Academic Lexicon (TAL). One hundred ninety-two freshman university ESL students participated in the study. A t test, used to investigate differences in the TAL scores of males and females, reveals that the males performed better on the TAL than the females (t = 3.32, p = .001). Analyses of covariance were used to examine questions pertaining to the effect of gender on the TAL, controlling for the possible effects of the students' verbal Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) scores, length of residence in the United States, and age of arrival in the United States. In all cases, gender remains significantly related to the results of the TAL when controlling for the other variable: for verbal SAT scores, F(1,181) = 5.86, p < .05; for length of residence, F(1,187) = 9.64, p < .01; and for age of arrival in the United States, F(1,185) = 10.22, p < .005. Neither the present study nor the gender literature reviewed suggests that gender itself causes differences in the TAL scores. In analyzing the results, we consider possible explanations for the males' better TAL scores related to reading habits, interactional styles, educational backgrounds, and cultures.

Abstract:

De p-adiska talen vars främsta användningsområde ligger inom talteorin beskrevs först av den tyske matematikern Kurt Hensel 1897.

För varje primtal p, så utvidgas talsystemet Q av rationella tal till ett större talsystem som betecknas Qp, de så kallade p-adiska talen.

En annorlunda valuation av rationella tal ger ett så kallat icke-arkimediskt absolutbelopp samt en annan metrik än den vi är vana vid, en ultrametrik. Vilket gör att kroppen av p-adiska tal Qp får en annorlunda topologi.

Ett icke-arkimediskt absolutbelopp har samma egenskaper som ett vanligt arkimediskt absolutbelopp, samt en extra egenskap nämligen .

Avslutningsvis använder vi oss av Hensels lemma, vilken bygger på Newton-Raphsons metoden för att lösa ekvationer, för att bestämma om ett polynom har rötter i Zp och i så fall vilka de är. Då den p-adiska analysen på många sätt är lättare än den reella analysen så visar Hensels lemma ganska lätt om ett polynomen har rötter i Zp.

Abstract:
Syftet med vår uppsats är att undersöka om det går att generera en överavkastning genom att investera i en portfölj innehållande aktier med låga P/E-tal på Stockholmsbörsen. Det vill säga kan man med hjälp av låga P/E-tal som investeringsstrategi erhålla en högre riskjusterad avkastning? För att undersöka detta skapades två portföljer, ett innehållande aktier med låga P/E-tal och den andra med höga P/E-tal. Undersökningen omfattar 16 år mellan 1992 till 2007. Varje portfölj innehöll 15 aktier och omplacerades var sjätte månad. Slutgiltigt jämfördes den riskjusterade avkastningen hos låga P/E-talsportföljen med den höga P/E-talsportföljen. Dessutom jämfördes den erhållna riskjusterade avkastning från den låga P/E-talsporfölje gentemot marknadsindex (OMXSPI) samt svenska stadsskuldsväxlar. Efter en noggrann analys kunde vi inte bevisa att den låga P/Etalsportf öljen generera en positiv riskjusterad överavkastning gentemot marknadsindex, mellan år 1992 och 2007. Dock finns det belägg utifrån våra resultat att det gick att generera en riskjusterad överavkastning med låg P/E-talsstrategi mellan år 2000 till 2007.

Abstract:

Tidigare forskning från USA fastslår att P/E-talet och direktavkastningen fungerar som indikatorer för framtida aktieutveckling. Denna forskning sträcker sig fram till år 2000. Tanken med detta arbete är att applicera föregående forskares tankar på den svenska marknaden för åren efter 2000. Tanken med uppsatsen är att utreda ifall historiska värden på direktavkastning och P/E-tal kan leda en investerare till ett bättre investeringsbeslut under perioden 2000- 2008.

Arbetet består av två delar, en utförlig kvantitativ del och en något enklare kvalitativ del. I den kvantitativa delen genomförs tester på den datamängd som samlats in i form av regressionsanalyser. Den kvalitativa delen består främst av intervjuer av analytiker inom finansbranschen och är tänkt att fungera som ett stöd för den kvantitativa delen. Några av de intervjuade personerna har även fungerat som stöd under arbetets gång.

För mätperioden har P/E-talet fungerat som en indikator och resultaten stämmer väl överens med rådande teorier. Att bevisa att direktavkastningen har fungerat som en indikator under samma period går däremot inte och resultatet stämmer inte med befintlig teori. Något att ha i åtanke är att mätperioden är starkt influerad av IT-bubblan och även att mätperioden kan anses vara för kort.


Earlier research from USA concludes that the P/E-ratio and the dividend yield works well as indicators of the expected stock price. This research goes from far beyond to the year 2000. The idea with this paper is to apply recent researchers’ thoughts on to the Swedish stock market for the years after 2000. The authors of this paper want to investigate whether historical values in dividend yield and P/E ratios could guide an investor to a better investment decision during the period 2000-2008.

The paper consists of two parts, one extensive quantitative part and one more basic qualitative part. In the quantitative part, tests on the data collected are made with the help of regression analysis. The qualitative part consists mostly from interviews of analysts from financial companies; these are meant to work as a support to the quantitative part. Some of the analysts interviewed have also been a support during the writing of this paper.

For the period investigated, the P/E-ratio has worked well as an indicator and the results from the tests are in line with existing theories. To show that the dividend yield also has worked well as an indicator during same period is not possible and the results is not in line with existing theory. Something to bare in mind is that the period measured is strongly influenced by the dot-com bubble and also that the period measured might be too short.

Den rapport du just ska till att läsa är ett kandidatarbete i matematisk statistik skrivet vid matematiska instutitionen, Linköpings Universitet. Det område som undersöks är att om man med hjälp av P/E-tal kan förutsäga kraftiga börsnedgångar (börskrascher) på OMXS30. För att definiera en börskrasch har vi använt måttet Value at Risk (VaR). Detta mått är vedertaget hos finansiella instutitioner som ett riskmått men i denna rapport används det som sagt för att definiera nivån for en börskrasch. VaR har beräknats med diverse olika metoder som presenteras i rapporten.   Efter att en börskrasch definierats har vi använt logistisk regression med P/E-tal som förklaringsvariabel för att undersöka om dessa nedgångar har ett samband med höga P/E-tal. Denna undersökning har lett fram till ett starkt resultat som säger att om en börsnedgång definieras med ett V aR mått som bygger på normalfördelningsantagande där volatiliteten är simulerad med GARCH(1,1) så kan vi konstatera att det finns ett säkerställt samband mellan höga P/E-tal och börskrascher.   Slutsatserna som dragit från undersökningen är att man genom att inkorporera en logistisk regression mot P/E-talet kan forstärka sitt VaR mått givet de antaganden som presenterats. Författarna uppmuntrar vidare forskning på området för att se om resultatet kan generaliseras till olika börsindex och även till specifika bolag.

Sammanfattning

Bakgrund: I dagens hårda konkurrens i samhället går trenden mot en informations- och kunskapsbaserad ekonomi där kunskapsföretagen blir fler och fler. Den största tillgången i företagen är de anställda och deras kompetens. Denna kompetens kan omvandlas till en värdefull tillgång och benämns som intellektuellt kapital. Trots att det finns ökad förståelse för att det intellektuella kapitalet skapar mervärde för företaget finns det hinder med att redovisa detta då det inte får tas upp i balansräkningen.

Syfte: Uppsatsens syfte är att analysera huruvida intellektuellt kapital är något som fondförvaltare utvärderar när de gör en investeringsbedömning.

Avgränsningar: Begränsningarna är att vi undersöker hur intellektuellt kapital kan vara till fördel för endast fondförvaltare; vi analyserar olika fondförvaltare i deras arbete endast med en investeringsbedömning. En sista avgränsning är att vi valt att inte tillfråga de fondförvaltare som inte utvärderar intellektuellt kapital aktivt i sina investeringsbedömningar.

Metod: Vi har utgått från en kvantitativ metod och har genomfört en enkätundersökning för insamling av material. Resultatet har vi analyserat utifrån den teori som vi tagit upp i det teoretiska kapitlet. Ansatsen är av abduktiv karaktär åt det deduktiva hållet då vi har studerat existerande teorier och fallstudier inom ämnet.

Resultat, slutsatser: Svenska fondanalytiker lägger inte särskilt stor vikt på intellektuellt kapital när de utvärderar och analyserar ett företag. Grunden till detta är för det första att det är svårt att mäta trovärdigheten av intellektuellt kapital när företagen själva sammanställer och redovisar detta utan att kontrolleras av någon utomstående part. För det andra är korrelationen mellan större delen av ett företags strukturkapital och aktiens utveckling på börsen inte påvisbar.

Abstract:

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur den närmaste framtiden för SAS ser ut samt att undersöka värderingen på SAS aktien ser ut på stockholmsbörsen. Hur ser börskursen ut för SAS aktien år 2015? Hur har SAS P/E tal utvecklat sig jämfört med andra flygbolag? och hur har SAS hanterat tidigare kriser? Studien har avgränsats till en tidsperiod på tio år för SAS och fem år för de övriga flygbolagen. De flygbolag som har valts i studien utöver SAS är Lufthansa, British Airways, Norwegian och Air France-KLM. Motivet till studien har varit den turbulens som har varit kring SAS och dess aktie under början av år 2010 i samband med nyheten om en nyemission och vinstvarningar.

För beräkning av börskursen har Damodarans aktievärdering med differentiell tillväxt använts i studien. För beräkning av de variabler som har använts i Damodarans modell har både ex ante och ex post metoden använts. För justering av börskursen vid nyemission har korrigeringsfaktor (k) vid nyemissioner använts.

SAS har haft många kriser som har inträffat i samband med olika externa omvärldshändelser. De övriga flygbolagen har känt av samma kriser. För att ta sig igenom kriserna genomför de olika flygbolagen besparingsprogram där bland annat antalet anställda minskas.

Beräkningen av börskursen visar att den bör vara 3,184 SEK år 2015. Om hänsyn tas till nyemissionen 2010-04-29 och den planerade sammanläggningen av aktier 2010-06-07 stiger värderingen av börskursen till 61 SEK.

Sett ur ett historiskt perspektiv bör SAS ta sig igenom den nuvarande krisen liksom de har gjort vid tidigare kriser. Jämfört med de andra flygbolagen i studien har deras E/P tal fluktuerat mer vilket innebär en ökad riskfaktor för aktieägarna. Trots det anses börskursen för SAS, vid studiens utförande, vara fullvärderad!

Bakgrund: Det finns många aktier att välja mellan på aktiemarknaden. För en person som aldrig tidigare har handlat med aktier kan det vara svårt att veta vilken investering som efter en tid kan generera ett högre värde än det satsade kapitalet. Relativvärdering är en investeringsstrategi som kan tillämpas för att identifiera dessa aktier. Syfte: Syftet med studien är att undersöka om värdemultiplarna P/E-talet, P/BV-talet och direktavkastning kan generera överavkastning genom investeringar i undervärderade aktier i finansbranschen. Om så är fallet, därefter påvisa vilken av värdemultiplarna som genererar högst avkastning. Metod: Studien har att tillämpat en kvantitativ metod med deduktiva inslag. Värde- och tillväxtportföljer har komponerats med värdemultiplarna P/E-talet, P/BV-talet och direktavkastning. Värdemultiplarna har beräknats fram med sekundärdata från databasen Thomson Reuters EcoWin Pro och årsredovisningar. Resultat: Studiens resultat påvisar att det går att generera överavkastning med relativvärdering som investeringsstrategi. Majoriteten av värdeportföljerna presterade bättre än tillväxtportföljerna. Portföljen som hade den högsta överavkastningen var värdeportföljen baserat på P/BV-talet.
Background: The capital stock market consists of many different shares. For a person who has never acted in shares, it can be difficult to know which investment over time that could generate a higher value than the invested capital. Relative valuation is an investment strategy that can be applied to identify these shares. Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate whether key ratios P/E-ratio, P/BV-ratio and dividend yield can generate excess returns by investing in undervalued stocks in the financial industry sector. If so, then demonstrate which of key ratios that generates the highest return. Method: This study has applied a quantitative approach with deductive features. Value and growth portfolios have been composed by key ratios P/E-ratio, P/BV-ratio and dividend yield. Key ratios have been calculated on secondary data from the database Thomson Reuters EcoWin pro and annual reports. Results: Our results demonstrate that it is possible to generate excess returns with the relative valuation as an investment strategy. The majority of the value portfolios performed better than the growth portfolios. The portfolio that had the highest excess return over the total period was the value portfolio that consisted of P/BV-ratio.

Forskare världen över har erhållit varierande resultat och ingen enighet gällande sambandet har uppnåtts.Avkastning framhålls som det primära intresset för investerare på aktiemarknaden då det kan ses som belöningeninvesterarenerhåller för att bidra med riskkapital till aktiebolaget.Med det sagt tar studienuppett aktuellt problem,investerare och sparare som betalar förvaltningsavgifter till kapitalförvaltare och kopplar detta till att testa om det går via investeringsstrategi grundad på enkel fundamental analys uppnå en högre avkastning.Med utgångspunkt från Famas hypotes om effektiva marknader undersöker studien förhållandet mellan P/E-tal och avkastning för aktier på den svenska aktiemarknaden Stockholmsbörsen och de 100 aktierna med högst börsvärde, under tidsperioden 2011–2018.Avsikten är att besvara frågeställningen enligt följande: På vilket sätt kan nyckeltalet P/E användas i investeringssyfte, ett test av den effektiva marknadshypotesen på den svenska aktiemarknaden.Avkastning testas primärt mot P/E-tal men även beta testas mot avkastning. Studien förhåller sig till en kvantitativ metod som grundar sig i sekundärdata som erhålls från Thomson Reuters databas Eikon. För att besvara hypoteser har vi tillämpat statistiska modeller i form av enkel linjär regressionsanalys. Avkastning är den beroende variabeln och som oberoende variabel har vi P/E-tal och beta.Resultatet visar inte på att ett samband existerar mellan avkastning och P/E-tal. Hypotesprövningen visar på att vi kan förkasta nollhypotesen för att det inte finns ett samband mellan beta och avkastnings. Avkastning förknippas alltså inte med P/E-tal. Tidigare forskning är tudelad gällande sambandet men denna studiens erhållna resultat styrker Famas hypotes om effektiva marknader. Resultatet bidrar till att klargöra hur komplext detta område är och att oenigheten uppenbarar sig även på den svenska aktiemarknaden

This Structural Engineering Document (SED) addresses a reawakening of interest in timber and timber-based products as primary con-struction materials for relatively tall, multi-storey buildings. Emphasis throughout is on holistically addressing various aspects of performance of complete systems, reflecting that major gaps in knowhow relate to design concepts rather than technical information about timber as a material. Special con-sideration is given to structural form, fire vulnerability, and durability aspects for attaining desired building performance over lifespans that can be centuries long.</p>

Seja G um grafo conexo e P um conjunto de caminhos disjuntos nos vértices em G. Dizemos que P é uma cobertura por caminhos se cada vértice de G pertence a algum caminho em P . No problema da cobertura mínima por caminhos, o objetivo é encontrar uma cobertura com o menor número de caminhos. Nesse problema, que é sabido ser NP-difícil, o conjunto P pode conter caminhos triviais. Estudamos uma variante desse problema onde o objetivo é encontrar uma cobertura sem caminhos triviais. Usando a decomposição de Edmonds-Gallai, mostramos que o problema de decidir se um grafo tem tal cobertura pode ser reduzido a um problema de emparelhamento em um grafo bipartido. Além disso, mostramos resultados de inaproximabilidade para ambos os problemas de cobertura: com e sem caminhos triviais.

Abstract:
Introdução: A Pseudomonas aeruginosas é uma bactéria gram-negativa, de presença ubíqua e resistente a inúmeras terapias medicamentosas, por isso pode provocar quadros infecciosos com elevadas taxas de letalidade, e que afetam diversas regiões do corpo, inclusive, o sistema nervoso. Objetivo: Compreender os mecanismos fisiopatológicos de ataque da P. aeruginosas ao sistema nervoso. Material e Métodos: Para tal, foi utilizada uma revisão bibliográfica de artigos publicados entre os anos de 1983 e 2019, por meio dos bancos de dados PubMed e Scielo. Resultados: A P. aeruginosas é um micro-organismo facilmente encontrado no ambiente, portanto é igualmente fácil contrai-la. Por se tratar de uma bactéria oportunista, afeta especialmente os indivíduos com alguma condição de imunossupressão, instalando-se em diversos tipos celulares. Embora tenha maior afinidade bioquímica por células epiteliais, ao adentrar a corrente sanguínea, penetra a barreira hematoencefálica e invade neurônios e células da glia. Afeta os tecidos principalmente pela produção de endotoxina, uma substância lipídica que provoca fortes respostas inflamatórias, gerando danos ao seu entorno. Chegando ao sistema nervoso central, causa episódios de encefalite e meningite, principalmente purulenta, resistindo a todas as tentativas de ataque do sistema imunológico, devido à presença de cápsula em sua membrana externa, tal como à produção de biofilme, um composto gelatinoso que auxilia na sua fixação. É beta-lactamase positivo, portanto, é capaz de degradar fármacos beta-lactâmicos, que constituem os principais antimicrobianos disponíveis, como as cefalosporinas e penicilinas, o que dificulta enormemente o tratamento de indivíduos infectados, já que tal mecanismo de resistência é muito eficaz. Estudos demonstram que a terapia com múltiplos fármacos pode ser eficiente em alguns casos, a depender da individualidade do paciente, que deve sempre ser considerada em prol de um tratamento que traga bons resultados. Conclusão: A P. aeruginosas é uma bactéria de transmissão bem facilitada e que oferece altos riscos à saúde dos indivíduos, especialmente por apresentar grande resistência aos antimicrobianos convencionais. Atingindo o sistema nervoso, torna-se mais letal, posto que as funções daquele são de extrema importância para a fisiologia do organismo, portanto, é fundamental monitorizar os pacientes acometidos e buscar considerar sua individualidade no tratamento, para que uma boa resposta.

Nas últimas décadas as tendências globais do desenvolvimento social, económico, tecnológico e cultural trouxeram mudanças nos modos de vida que impõem um olhar atento para os modos de educar esta geração nascida na era digital (Prensky, 2001). A formação inicial docente assume uma responsabilidade elevada nos processos de inovação procurando responder aos problemas da atualidade (Flores &amp; Ramos, 2016). Neste contexto, relevam-se os estudantes estagiários, também investigadores que atuam em contextos reais e interpretam o design inovador nas suas práticas educativas. Este estudo tem o propósito de determinar o impacto da abordagem Escape Room nas seguintes dimensões: desafios, satisfação, empenho, resultados. Também, pretende compreender que mudanças ocorrem no perfil do aluno e do professor. A opção pela abordagem metodológica Escape Room visou promover o reforço de conhecimentos e de competências dos alunos, tal como estimular a motivação e interesse da criança, tornando o processo de aprendizagem mais atrativo, lúdico, interativo, conferindo sentido e significado ao conhecimento (Guigon, Humeau, &amp; Vermeulen, 2018). Nesta experiência participaram 25 crianças, a frequentar o 3º ano de escolaridade (1.º CEB), uma professora titular da turma e duas professoras estagiárias. Seguiu-se uma metodologia qualitativa, de natureza descritiva e interpretativa, devido à “natureza aberta, globalizante e compreensiva” das questões orientadoras do presente trabalho (Martinho, 2011, p. 105). Para a recolha de dados foi aplicado um questionário às crianças, uma entrevista à professora titular e notas de campo resultantes da observação participada das estagiárias. Os resultados revelam que a abordagem Escape Room teve impacto na mobilização de conhecimentos para a construção de novos conhecimentos, no desenvolvimento de competências, nomeadamente, autonomia, capacidade de resolução de problemas e de decisão, na promoção de atitudes positivas face aos desafios propostos e na relação entre pares. Além disso, observou-se satisfação nas crianças, tal como estimulou ritmos de trabalho mais intensivos.

Uno de los aspectos más llamativos, al tiempo que complejos de la música rap es lo que conocemos como flow. Diferentes autores como Marc (2008) o Béthune (2004), sobre la estética del rap, hacen referencia a este concepto difícil de definir. Partiendo de su sentido más orgánico, en tanto que líquido en movimiento, el flow en el rap requiere estar provisto de enorme y cristalina vitalidad en el recitado de los versos, lo que le confiere uno de los aspectos más atractivos, al tiempo que complejos, en este tipo de música. Procedente de la locución americana to rap, entre chismorrear o darle al pico o, simplemente contar cualquier cosa, el rap song puede definirse como la dicción medio cantada y medio hablada de textos elaborados, rimados y ritmados producida sobre una base musical de mezclas de extractos de otras fuentes sonoras, denominadas samplers. Esta manifestación como tal se materializa en una performance que se lleva a cabo en la calle, surgida en los 70 en Nueva York (Lapassade et Rousselot, 1998, p.9). El rap debe su exégesis a la música popular jamaicana, siendo el género demandado en los 70 entre la militancia negra estadounidense. Ya casi en los 80, observamos el resultado de esta música capaz de mezclar baile y política. Bankside supone un claro ejemplo de revitalización urbana puesto que, a pesar de haber sido considerado como una de las zonas más contaminadas de Londres, ha logrado transformarse en un Distrito Cultural mundialmente conocido gracias a la apuesta e inversión en diferentes creaciones artísticas. No sólo se han rehabilitado edificios vacíos y en desuso dando lugar a centros artísticos de suma importancia como es el caso de la conversión de su antigua central eléctrica en lo que ahora se conoce como la Tate Modern –una de las galerías de arte contemporáneo más importantes de Europa–, sino que el arte sale a la calle ilustrando muros, fachadas y dando vida a zonas que aún se encuentran a la espera de su próxima regeneración. La ciudad envuelve al ciudadano/a por completo ofreciendo un Distrito Cultural que se reinventa constantemente dando la posibilidad de que el público no sea un mero espectador, sino de que se sumerja en la historia y cultura del Distrito convirtiéndose a su vez en creador y artista e invitándole a formar parte de las actividades que se desarrollan en diferentes festivales como Merge o el London Design Festival. Muchas de las instalaciones y obras de arte son temporales y/o perecederas. No obstante, algunas de las obras que florecen a lo largo de sus calles y plazas se han ganado su permanencia, tal como sucede con las realizadas alrededor del santuario de the Cross Bones Graveyard. Abstract:
Objetivos. La Terapia Asistida con Animales (TAA) es una intervención complementaria a la psicoterapia que presenta resultados positivos en los tratamientos de diferentes patologías. El objetivo de este estudio es valorar la implementación y efectividad de un programa de TAA, en pacientes diagnosticados de trastorno por consumo de sustancias y trastorno del espectro de la esquizofrenia en contexto de tratamiento residencial (comunidad terapéutica). Material y métodos. Se utilizó una cohorte dinámica prospectiva de 43 pacientes en tratamiento residencial. La TTA era de 10 sesiones con perro, duración de 60 minutos, con recogida de datos en la 3ª, 6ª y 10ª sesión. Se utilizó el cuestionario perfil de habilidades de la vida cotidiana (LSP), la escala para el síndrome positivo y negativo de la esquizofrenia (PANSS), la escala de la depresión de Calgary (CDSS) y la escala de autoestima de Rosemberg. Resultados y Conclusiones. Hubo una disminución en la impulsividad cognitiva (F = 4.39, p = 0.024), impulsividad a nivel motor (F = 3.82, p = 0.036), planificación (F = 5.58, p < 0.010) e impulsividad total (F = 4.67, p < 0.019) en comparación con valores iniciales. Además, en la escala de autocuidado (F = 76.09, p < 0.001) conducta social interpersonal (F = 68.2, p < 0.001) comunicación (F = 45.04, p < 0.001), comportamiento social no personal (F = 68.73, p < 0.001) y vida autónoma (F = 54.03, p < 0.001). La TAA parece servir como terapia coadyuvante en los procesos de rehabilitación de personas diagnosticadas de patología dual.
