Abstract:

Abstract:
Arowana fish farming sector is one sector that can support the economy of Indonesia society. But most fish farmers in Indonesia are still using conventional procedures for the cultivation of fish that can cause a variety of losses. In this study offered a solution in the form of a simulation design of an Arowana Fish Nurseries Monitoring System-Based on The Iot Scheme using Cisco Packet Tracer 7.0 Application as a Simulator. In the designing process, the monitoring system will be split into two sub system such as security system and arowana aquaculture support system. There are four kind of sensor that can be used in the simulation process such as CO2 Detector, Temperature Monitor, Motion Detector, and Water Level Monitor. If the sensor detects a value that does not match the specified parameter then the attenuator of the sensor will react according to the conditions set through the condition setting. Information generated by these devices will then be sent to the server, then to access information and monitor the devices can be done through a web server that has been available. The result from this study is that the simulation can run well but there are still shortcomings because of the limitations of the simulator used so it is expected that in the next version of simulator the limitations can be overcome

Abstract: This paper simulate IoT based smart companies and make our networking infrastructure effective, efficient and most importantly accurate with security. The simulator used is Cisco Packet Tracer, this tool has been used form many years in networking. Main strength of the tool is the offering of a variety of network components that simulate a real network, devices would then need to be interconnected and configured in order to create a network. Technology plays a critical role in all daily activities of the present day. One of these needs is to create a smart office that controls operation and turns off electronic devices via a smartphone. This implementation can be implemented effectively using package tracking software that includes IoT functions to control and simulate a smart office. The latest version of the tool Cisco introduced IoT functionalities, and now it is possible to add to the network smart devices, components, sensors, actuators and also devices that simulate microcontrollers such as Arudino or Raspberry Pi. All the IoT devices can be run on standard programs or can be customized by programming them with Java, Phyton or Blockly. This makes Cisco Packet Tracer an ideal tool for building IoT practical simulations. Smart-Industrial smart-company office offer simulation of a power plant that produces and stores electricity via solar panels and wind turbines. Abstract:
Nowadays computer networks are growing rapidly and internet usage is increasing everyday. The need to design an internet network cannot be separated from the routing protocol which functions to integrate all computers with the highest flexibility. Routing is one part that provides effective performance in the network. In comparing the performance of EIGRP and OSPF routing protocols, the implementation of EIGRP and OSPF must be implemented when building a network, so administrators easily know the difference in the performance values of the two routing protocols. The discussion in this study is to compare the performance of the EIGRP routing protocol and OSPF routing protocol that is on the network using the hybird topology. Overcoming problems with high-scale network access, we will analyze and compare performance between EIGRP routing protocol and OSPF routing protocol. In obtaining the value and to verify the results of the implementation, the simulation software uses a Packet Tracer simulator.

Abstract:
The internet is faced with many problems daily, one of them is decrement in network bandwidth because of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack on host server, which deplete host resources. Researchers has been invented many protection mechanisms such as detection, trace back, prevention, reaction, and characterization are in case of DDoS attacks, which will control the number of malicious packets received by the victim. But it does not provide efficient detection technique with high rate in real time network infrastructure. Thus, modern technologies are prepared on Mininet network simulators, which give more impact to simulate the real network. The architecture of Software Defined Networks (SDN) and OpenFlow architecture is used to demonstrate a programmable network model and centralized management of real network. In this research work, we provide design of software defined network (SDN) using mininet simulator and security issues related to the Software Defined Network.

Abstract:
Core and integral to the fourth industrial revolution, knowledge economy, and beyond is information and communication technology (ICT); more so, during and post the novel coronavirus pandemic. Yet, there exists a skills gap in ICT networking and networks engineering. Not only do students perceive ICT networking to be difficult to comprehend, lecturers and institutions grapple with the adequacy of ICT networking equipment. Real-life simulators, like the Cisco Packet Tracer, hold the promise of alternate teaching opportunities and evidenced-based environments for (higher-order) assessment. Research in the last decade on ontology for assessments have focused on taxonomy and multiple-choice questions and auto-generation and marking of assessments. This chapter extends the body of knowledge through its ontology-based model for enabling and auto-assessing performance-based and/or pseudo-psychomotor assessment. The auto-grading online submission system assists with authenticity and enables authentic and/or sustainable assessments.

Abstract:
The world is moving towards a new generation of internet, the internet of things (IoT). This technological jump is improving the way we live by creating a bridge between the physical and the virtual world. Researchers are curious about the field from different perspectives especially managing of the complexity and dynamicity of these systems. The main problem being targeted in this chapter is that IoT systems are exposed to many structural and behavioral changes due to internal and external factors. This study is about the necessity of having a mechanism that enables IoT systems to perform without breaks or shutdowns regardless of context changes. The solution consists of a contextual dynamic reconfiguration process implemented by a reflexive multilayered architecture. This process is based on the autonomic computing loop. The authors also integrated evolution styles to make reusable the reconfigurations applied on the architecture of the system. Validation of the proposed approach was made on an e-health scenario, which was simulated using Cisco Packet Tracer before performing real development.

Abstract:
The notion of using technology for educational purposes is not new. In fact, it can be traced back to the early 1900s during which time school museums were used to distribute portable exhibits. This was the beginning of the visual education movement that persisted through the 1930s as advances in technology such as radio and sound motion pictures continued. The training needs of World War II stimulated serious growth in the audiovisual instruction movement. Instructional television arrived in the 1950s, but had little impact, mainly due to the expense of installing and maintaining systems. The advent of computers in the 1950s laid the foundation for CAI (computer assisted instruction) through the 1960s and 1970s. However, it was not until the 1980s that computers began to make a major impact in education (Reiser, 2001). Early applications of computer resources included the use of primitive simulation. These early simulations had little graphic capabilities and did little to enhance the learning experience (Munro, 2000). Since the 1990s, there have been rapid advances in computer technologies in the area of multimedia production tools, delivery, and storage devices. Throughout the 1990s, numerous CD-ROM educational multimedia software was produced and was used in educational settings. More recently, the advent of the World Wide Web (WWW), together with the emergence of mobile devices and wireless networking, has opened a vast array of possibilities for the use of multimedia technologies and associated information and communications technologies (ICT) to enrich the learning environment. Today, educational institutions are investing considerable effort and money into the use of multimedia. The use of multimedia technologies in educational institutions is seen as necessary for keeping education relevant to the twenty-first century (Selwyn & Gordard, 2003). The term “multimedia” as used in this article refers any technologies which make possible “the entirely digital delivery of content presented by using an integrated combination of audio, video, images (twodimensional, three-dimensional) and text” along with the capacity to support user interaction (Torrisi-Steele, 2004, p. 24). Multimedia may be delivered on computer via CD-ROM, DVD, the Internet, or on other devices such as mobile phones and personal digital assistants, or any digital device capable of supporting interactive and integrated delivery of digital audio, video, image, and text data. The notion of interaction in educational multimedia may be viewed from two perspectives. First, interaction may be conceptualised in terms of “the capacity of the system to allow individual to control the pace of presentation and to make choices about which pathways are followed to move through the content; and the ability of the system to accept input from the user and provide appropriate feedback to that input” (Torrisi- Steele, 2004, p. 24). Second, given the integration of multimedia with communication technologies, interaction may be conceptualized as communication among individuals (teacher-learner and learner(s)-learner(s)) in the learning space that is made possible by technology (e-mail, chat, video-conferencing, threaded discussion groups, and so on).

Abstract:
The objective of this paper is to report findings from simulating and testing local area network (LAN) connectivity using Windows XP operating system and Cisco Networking Academy network devices. In this study, a simple routing protocol, RIP, is used as routing protocol. Two different techniques, Cisco Networking Academy hardware lab and Cisco Packet Tracer 4, were used to compare their performance to simulate network connectivity. Primary findings showed that the settings of the Windows XP firewall on the host computer have a direct impact on the test results. These findings are critical as there are no similar reports in the literature and only a careful investigation allowed the researchers to come to this conclusion. Furthermore, study results also offer suggestions for fixing problems that hinder simulation results of LANs that use Windows XP workstations. These findings can help CCNA students and faculty understand the reasons for unexplained connectivity problems when performing CCNA labs. The study also provides a simple method to avoid connectivity problems when using Windows ping.exe and tracert.exe which implement the TCP/IP protocol ICMP
