Abstract:
In the history of modern Iran, the situation of various minority elements living in this country in the process of nation-state building has been a common subject of discussion and research. Until the beginning of the 20th century, in the Iranian geography, where various communities such as Kurds, Baluç and Lor, especially Turks and Arabs, lived, an administrative system, which was expressed as "Memaliki Mahruse" and had a kind of state system, was dominant. Within this system, each community was protecting and maintaining its own cultural existence. Nation building, whose intellectual foundat

Ibn al-Muqaffa mastered various languages such as Arabic, Syriac, Pahlavi, Sanskrit, India and Greece. He studied and learned a lot of history and civilization of Persia and he also likes to read long texts with such capabilities. He was the first to translate the works of Persian and Indian literature into Arabic. Translating that resulted in two very important things: the displacement of the Arabs of Bedouin life-style to modern living and non-Arab involvement in the writing of Arabic literature. AbstractThis article excavates the Eurocentric roots of Iranian nationalist discourse, which emerged from the political and intellectual trajectories of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Premised on the epistemic privilege of the Persian language, a selective remembrance of the past, and forging an internal Other, I contend that this raciolinguistic ideology equated Persianness with Iranianness and naturalised Persian as both a language and a race. I begin with tracing the origin of Iranianness or Irāniyat: a concept coined by Mirza Fath'Ali Akhundzadeh and Mirza Aqa Khan Kermani, two in

During COVID-19, thesis tutoring is more challenging. Offline meeting consistency is hard to maintain online. To solve this problem and keep students motivated to finish their thesis, we proposed developing a website based on the 4DX theory. The theory of 4DX is setting Wildly Important Goals (WIG), acting the lead measure, presenting a motivating scoreboard, and creating the rhythm of accountability, which are represented in the visual languages of the interfaces of the developed website. The website and apps were designed to visualize those four theories by using M. Asimov methodologies. The
