Abstract:
Although scholars have paid increasing attention to people with callings, relationships between leader's calling and follower's job attitudes have been understudied. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between leader calling and follower job satisfaction, and mediators and a moderator on the relationship. We hypothesized that leader calling would be positively related to follower job satisfaction via follower's perceived transformational leadership and occupational self-efficacy and that the two mediators would be positively related. As a boundary condition, we tested a moderating role of job crafting on the positive relationship between leader calling and follower occupational self-efficacy. To examine the hypotheses, we conducted two survey studies using a sample of 242 Korean working adults (Study 1) and a sample of 221 American working adults in diverse industries (Study 2). We found a positive relationship between leader calling and follower job satisfaction (Study 1) and a significant mediating effect of transformational leadership on the relationship (Studies 1, 2). In both studies, follower occupational self-efficacy mediated the link between transformational leadership and follower job satisfaction rather than directly mediating the relationship between leader calling and follower job satisfaction. Also, when followers were highly involved in job crafting (Study 1) and cognitive crafting (Study 2), their occupational self-efficacy did not vary depending on the level of leader calling. Interestingly, the relationship between leader calling and follower occupational self-efficacy was negative when followers showed low levels of job crafting and cognitive crafting. We discuss the implications of these results, study limitations, and practical suggestions for future research.

Abstract:
SUMMARY: In this study we examine the audit fees for two types of former Andersen clients: those that followed their former Andersen partner to a new audit firm and those that did not. Using data from Public Accounting Report on the acquisition of Andersen offices, we find that about half of the Andersen clients in our sample followed the former partner to a new audit firm and that the “follower” clients paid, on average, about 16 percent lower audit fees than other clients. The results thus provide empirical evidence about the impact of partner-client familiarity on audit fees. The findings also suggest that studies examining former Andersen clients may need to distinguish between the “follower” clients and other clients.

Abstract:
This paper considers the set of reversible mechanical systems with single-period oscillations and individual phase shifts in them. The problem of aggregating a coupled system with an attracting cycle is solved. The approach developed below is to choose a leader (control)system that acts on the other (follower) systems through one-way coupling control: in an aggregated system, there are no links between follower systems. Universal coupling controls are used. Particular attention is paid to conservative systems. Possible scenarios for the operation of the aggregated system are presented.

Abstract:
Purpose – While there is an extensive body of theory and research on leadership, less attention has been paid to other work roles, including follower roles. The purpose of this paper is to explain and justify a three factor model of followership as a basis for exploring the role of followers, establishing what makes an effective follower and discussing the training and development of followers. This is the first part of a three part paper. It reviews previous theory and research on followership, before describing the three factor model of leadership and considering how it can be applied to followership. Design/methodology/approach – The first part of this paper consists mainly of a literature review on followership, and a description of the three factor model of leadership. The second and third parts of the paper outline the approach to the empirical research. Findings – The overall findings of this three part paper: provide empirical evidence to support the three factor model of leadership; justify the extension of the model to other work roles, including follower roles; allow the development of a three factor framework of follower behaviours. Research limitations/implications – The three factor model of followership shows that followership and leadership are not fundamentally different. Indeed, the skills that leaders need in their roles develop out of and build on those needed in follower roles. The essential difference is in the contrasting roles of leader and follower in which they are used. The research findings are based mainly on individuals in the public sector in the UK. Further research on other populations would be useful. Practical implications – Effective organisations need effective followers and effective leaders. Moreover, the skills of the effective leader develop out of and build on those of the effective follower. Social implications – The view of followership expressed in this paper is a challenge to the widely held pre-occupation with leadership and, more generally, to the cult of leadership. Originality/value – This is the first published attempt to apply the three factor model of leadership to followership. Evidence is presented on the internal reliability and external validity of measures of leadership and followership. Scales were developed to distinguish between leader and follower roles and used to describe behaviours characteristic of such roles, as well as behaviours valued in these roles, based on 360 degree assessments.

Abstract:
Followership research has increased recently, but little attention has been paid to the complexities and challenges of creating a followership identity. Researchers typically portray followership as a safe alternative to leadership identity, but we challenge this assumption by using naturally occurring workplace interactions to identify active contributions as well as risks associated with a follower identity. In this study, we use conversation analysis to examine how people collaboratively construct identities, and how identity development shapes and organizes interactions between people. The findings reveal the risks of misidentifying the task at hand, of being too authoritative, and of claiming too much knowledge. Also, our analyses highlight that leader and follower roles remain abstract in workplace interactions and, instead, people focus more on negotiated, task-oriented, practical identities.

To address these issues, we develop a conceptual model that details how narcissistic leaders’ cognitive processes may promote abusive supervision.

Abstract:
The study aims to reveal how the theme of Tom Crick’s upbringing is objectified in G. Swift’s novel “Waterland” in comparison with the upbringing of “a real gentleman” Philip Pirrip, the narrator in the novel “Great Expectations”. Considerable attention is paid to how unfulfilled expectations affect the lives of the characters of G. Swift and Ch. Dickens and how “great expectations” correlate with curiosity, the main trait of human nature. Quoting Swift’s researchers, the author of the paper describes the following typology of curiosity about the world and the past: investigative, sexual and historical. The scientific originality of the study lies in the formulation of the correlative pair “curiosity/upbringing” forming the plot conflict of the work “Waterland”, which is being examined as a Bildungsroman. As a result, the researcher puts forward the thesis that it is the human curiosity that is the objectification of the theme of the protagonist’s upbringing in G. Swift’s novel. The events in Tom Crick’s life are formed as a result of the character’s investigative and sexual curiosity, while historical curiosity is displayed by the professional historian Crick when he tries to identify the causes of the tragedy from his past.

Abstract:
Followership is as crucial as leadership for organizational success. Significant efforts have been made by numerous researchers to examine how leadership influences followership; however, not enough attention has been paid to the influence of internal factors of followers on followership from the followers’ perspective. This study relies on identity theory to understand the relationship between the influence of followers’ perceived self-following traits (FTP) and followership prototype (FP) on followership, and the mediation role of self-efficacy in the relationship between FTP-FP consistency and followership. In order to avoid common method bias and ensure good discriminant validity of the variables, a two-wave time-lagged data collection design was used to collect 276 valid questionnaires from front-line business staff and junior supervisors in private and public sector organizations of China. Polynomial regression and response surface analysis were used to investigate the effect of FTP-FP consistency on followership. The empirical findings indicated that (1) the more consistent FTP-FP, the stronger the followership; (2) compared to the ‘low FTP-low FP’, employees with ‘high FTP-high FP’ had stronger followership; (3) employees with ‘high FTP-low FP’ had stronger followership than ‘low FTP-high FP’; (4) self-efficacy played a mediating role between FTP-FP consistency and followership. These findings contribute to management practice by revealing antecedents to followership from the perspective follower identity and the effect of follower identity on followership.

Abstract:
In order to solve the problem of separation between consumer purchase and product experience in online sales, live streaming e-commerce came into being. However, the interaction of streamers is easy to cause consumers’ impulse consumption, which leads to the soaring return rate. In this context, how to make reasonable return policies to avoid the loss is an important issue for brands. This paper studies return policy selection for brands. We mainly focus on MCN (multi-channel network) click farming and customer disappointment aversion in the situations that the return-freight insurances are paid by brands or consumers or brands and MCN jointly. Three leader-follower models with brands as leaders and platforms and MCN as followers are established. To solve the above bilevel models, we discuss the conditions under which the upper and lower models are both convex and, based on these theoretical results, we give the optimal strategies for all members. Then, through numerical experiments, we analyze the impacts of customer disappointment aversion level, MCN’s ability, commission rate, brand’s return-freight insurance purchasing ratio, and other factors on each member’s optimal decision. The results show that the return policy in the situation of return-freight insurance paid by brand is suitable for a market with the high level of customer disappointment aversion; the return policy in the situation of return-freight insurance paid by consumers is applicable to the case of low customer disappointment aversion and high commission rate; the return policy in the situation of return-freight insurance paid by brand and MCN jointly is suitable for the case of low MCN capability and can effectively restrain the click farming from MCN.

Abstract:
Meetings are ubiquitous across organizations, yet researchers have paid scant attention to the role of meeting leaders in affecting meeting outcomes. Because meetings are important discursive sites, the style of a meeting leader may influence subordinate views of the meeting and leader. Using a sample of working adults, we first demonstrated that meeting attendees who perceived their leader as participative viewed the leader as more warm and competent than meeting attendees who had a directive leader. We explain this finding through the framework of social exchange theory. In Study 2, we conducted an experiment to further probe the relation between meeting leader style and subordinate perceptions of the leader. Again, participants viewed participative leaders as more warm and competent than directive leaders. Interestingly, working adults preferred participative leaders over directive leaders across every type of work meeting. We further found that participant gender interacted with leader style, such that men rated directive leaders are warmer than did women, but men and women did not differ in their assessments of participative leaders.

ABSTRACT:In the expanding field of ethical leadership research, little attention has been paid to the association between ethical leaders’ ethical characteristics (beyond personality) and perceived ethical leadership, and, more importantly, the potential influence of ethical leadership on followers’ ethical characteristics. In this study, we tested a theoretical model based upon social cognitive theory (Bandura, 1986) to examine leaders’ moral identity and moral attentiveness as antecedents of perceived ethical leadership, and follower moral identity and moral attentiveness as outcomes of ethical leadership. Based upon data from 89 leaders and 460 followers in China, collected at two points in time, we found that leaders’ moral identity and moral attentiveness are associated with follower’s perceptions of ethical leadership. Ethical leadership is, in turn, associated with their followers’ moral identity and moral attentiveness. We found furthermore that ethical leadership mediates the effect of leaders’ moral identity on followers’ moral identity, but not the effect of leaders’ moral attentiveness on followers’ moral attentiveness. We discuss the findings, theoretical contributions, practical implications, and future research.

This article commemorates the death anniversary of the famous Slovak Slavist Vladimir Matula (1928–2011) and covers the main milestones in his life, research work, and activities as a founder of Slavistics in the Slovak Academy of Sciences. The scope of his studies was analyzed, and the results obtained reveal that he was mostly focused on the life and work of Ľudovít Štúr, the founding father of the Slovak nation, and on the Slovak–Russian relations in the spheres of science and culture during the 19th century. Based on the historiographic sources and ego-documents, the main stages in the formation of V. Matula’s worldview as a researcher and his contribution to the historical science in Slovakia were considered. Special attention was paid to V. Matula’s role in the organization of international scientific congresses and the institutionalization of inter-Slavic contacts. The conclusion was made that V. Matula’s research findings and his impact on the development and strengthening of the Slovak–Russian relations in science and culture have been poorly addressed in both Russian and Slovak historiography.

Abstract:
Understanding the dynamics of online karaoke virtual gift sending helps maximize its utility for all participants, including viewers, broadcasters, and platforms. However, extant paid gift-sending studies lack an integrated theoretical explanation of its incentives as well as practical implications that can facilitate the quantifiable implementation of service improvement. This study has successfully uncovered the motivation of paid gift-sending in an online karaoke context from a social exchange perspective using social exchange theory. By observing the activities of 11,640 online karaoke users over one year, it was discovered that their gift-sending behaviors adhere to the patterns of more-follower-more-gift-sending and receive-more-send-more. Moreover, such patterns are more pronounced for collaborative users and are accentuated over time. Theoretically, this study extends the scope of social commerce studies from B2C to C2C scenarios with more complicated interpersonal dynamics. Meanwhile, managers are advised to encourage following, stimulate collaboration, inject additional virtual gifts into the “market”, and retain their customers to generate long-term profits.

The view of modernist architecture as a “unified mass” without regional traits or specific developmental trends has sometimes become symptomatic and is threatening to monuments of this style even today. This article aims to introduce the most significant conclusions obtained from the analysis of the architect Ernests Štālbergs’ creative legacy in the context of Western modernist architecture, identifying the means used to localise the style. Formal and stylistically comparative methods were applied for this purpose. Štālbergs’ modernist works reveal three lines of influences – from the German architect Erich Mendelsohn, the French architect Le Corbusier and the Nordic modernism. This does not mean direct appropriations of composition but rather impulses and inspirations. Štālbergs attempted to adapt modernism to local conditions, as he paid attention to the context of surrounding environment and regional traditions. However, he was more interested not in national but in regional identity, thus fitting in a wider cultural space.

Abstract We develop a theoretical model in which a country hosts foreign investment in the presence of a drug dealer, acting as a leader, and a drug seller, acting as a follower. A policy addressed to eradicate the drug trafficking encourages the kidnapping activity, and increase the security cost of firms. When the drug is not consumed in the host country the best policy is not to fight against drug trafficking. When the drug is consumed in the host country the optimal policy depends on the social marginal disutility of drug consumption respect to ransom paid by firms. In this case, when social marginal disutility is sufficiently larger than ransom, the government combats drug trafficking, otherwise, there is no policy at all.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT Introduction The U.S. Military has long been aware of the vital role effective leaders play in high-functioning teams. Recently, attention has also been paid to the role of followers in team success. However, despite these investigations, the leader-follower dynamic in military interprofessional health care teams (MIHTs) has yet to be studied. Although interprofessional health care teams have become a topic of increasing importance in the civilian literature, investigations of MIHTs have yet to inform that body of work. To address this gap, our research team set out to study MIHTs, specifically focusing on the ways in which team leaders and followers collaborate in MIHTs. We asked what qualities of leadership and followership support MIHT collaboration? Materials and Methods This study was conducted using semi-structured interviews within a grounded theory methodology. Participants were purposefully sampled, representing military health care professionals who had experience working within or leading one or many MIHTs. Thirty interviews were conducted with participants representing a broad range of military health care providers and health care specialties (i.e., 11 different health professions), ranks (i.e., officers and enlisted military members), and branches of the U.S. Military (i.e., Army, Navy, and Air Force). Data were collected and analyzed in iterative cycles until thematic saturation was achieved. The subsets of data for leadership and followership were further analyzed separately, and the overlap and alignment across these two datasets were analyzed. Results The insights and themes developed for leadership and followership had significant overlap. Therefore, we present the study’s key findings following the two central themes that participants expressed, and we include the perspectives from both leader and follower viewpoints to illustrate each premise. These themes are as follows: (1) a unique collaborative dynamic emerges when team members commit to a shared mission and a shared sense of responsibility to achieve that mission; and (2) embracing and encouraging both leader and follower roles can benefit MIHT collaboration. Conclusions This study focused on ways in which team leaders and followers on MIHTs collaborate. Findings focused on qualities of leadership and followership that support MIHT’s collaboration and found that MIHTs have a commitment to a shared mission and a shared sense of responsibility to achieve that mission. From this foundational position of collective responsibility to achieve a common goal, MIHTs develop ways of collaborating that enable leaders and followers to excel to include (1) understanding your role and the roles of others; (2) mutual respect; (3) flexibility; and (4) emotional safety. The study data suggest that MIHT members work along a continuum of leadership and followership, which may shift at any moment. Military interprofessional health care teams members are advised to be adaptive to these shared roles and contextual changes. We recommend that all members of MIHTs acquire leadership and followership training to enhance team performance.

The forms of response by users of digital ecosystems to the spread of the influence of technology in society have been studied and the difference in this response has been stated. The reasons for this different response, due to structural changes in society, are shown. Attention is paid to the influence of cognitive artifacts of the metaverse on the perception of the consequences of emerging technological trends. It is stated that the modification of technological determinism in the form of metaverses contains different intentions of individual consciousness. This is due to the fact that the classical Internet is gradually giving way to new communication technologies, in which avatars, digital twins and immersive space plays an important role.

Abstract:
Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationship between the sub-dimensions of political skill and transformational leadership, arguing that in a Chinese sample, social astuteness, networking ability, and interpersonal influence will have a stronger impact than apparent sincerity. Additionally, transformational leadership is argued to mediate the relationship between leader political skill and subordinate job performance. Design/methodology/approach – This study used a dyadic, cross-sectional design where all data were collected at a single point in time and supervisors were matched to their followers. Findings – The results support that transformational leadership mediates the relationship between leader political skill and follower performance. Additionally, social astuteness was positively related to leader charisma, individualized consideration, and intellectual stimulation; whereas, interpersonal influence was related to leader charisma and intellectual stimulation. Apparent sincerity was not related to perceptions of transformational leadership. Practical implications – The findings imply that the authors might be able to design more customized training to reduce the costs of leadership development programs. Specially, in China, focus should be paid to increasing social astuteness and interpersonal influence only. Originality/value – This study is one of the few to examine the relationship between the sub-dimensions of political skill and transformational leadership. This is especially noteworthy in the context of the Chinese sample employed, as most political skill research has been done in western contexts.

Abstract:
On Instagram, the number of followers is a common success indicator. Hence, followers selling services become a huge part of the market. Influencers become bombarded with fake followers and this causes a business owner to pay more than they should for a brand endorsement. Identifying fake followers becomes important to determine the authenticity of an influencer. This research aims to identify fake users' behavior and proposes supervised machine learning models to classify authentic and fake users. The dataset contains fake users bought from various sources, and authentic users. There are 17 features used, based on these sources: 6 metadata, 3 media info, 2 engagement, 2 media tags, 4 media similarity Five machine learning algorithms will be tested. Three different approaches of classification are proposed, i.e. classification to 2-classes and 4-classes, and classification with metadata. Random forest algorithm produces the highest accuracy for the 2-classes (authentic, fake) and 4-classes (authentic, active fake user, inactive fake user, spammer) classification, with accuracy up to 91.76%. The result also shows that the five metadata variables, i.e. number of posts, followers, biography length, following, and link availability are the biggest predictors for the users class. Additionally, descriptive statistics results reveal noticeable differences between fake and authentic users.

Abstract:
The article presents a comparative analysis of the anthropological constructions Marseille abbot John Cassian and the British monk Pelagius. The study focuses on the need for a thorough revision doctrinal assessments established in Western theological science, according to which John Cassian is a representative of the so-called “semi-Pelagian” theology. The author believes that the wrong view of the Cassian’s theology formed as a result of considering his doctrines in the context of the Pelagian dispute. Cassian’s theology is not related to the Pelagian discussion of free will and predestination. His anthropology was formed in the context of the Eastern Christian ascetic tradition. Eastern Christian theology paid great attention to questions about the role of divine grace and human action in the matter of salvation. Cassian, being the heir to the Eastern Christian monastic tradition, emphasized personal asceticism. This led many theologians to draw the wrong conclusion that the Marseille abbot was a follower of Pelagius. The article shows that the views of Cassian are far from the theology of Pelagius and are closer to Augustine in many respects.

Abstract:
This article makes a case for investigating leadership from a micro-interactional perspective which integrates discursive, sequential and multimodal analytical layers. It thus builds on existing discursive leadership research by demonstrating that leadership is not achieved only through talk, but by means of a complex interplay between verbal and non-verbal resources. Focusing on video-recordings of authentic meetings, I investigate the interactional interplay between the superior, the meeting chair and the other participants by means of a deontic perspective. Drawing on the status–stance distinction and teasing out how proximal and distal deontic rights are enacted and how these relate to leader and follower identities when conceptualized from a social constructionist perspective, I demonstrate that leadership is an essentially collaborative accomplishment in which all participants play a crucial role. Finally, I argue that this can only be uncovered fully when attention is paid to the variety of means – verbal as well as non-verbal – that interlocutors have at their disposal when attempting to influence each other towards achieving organizationally relevant goals.

Abstract:
Abstract Much attention has been paid on the mechanism of cancer invasion from the viewpoint of the behaviour of individual cancer cells. On the other hand, histopathological analyses of specimens from cancer patients and of cancer invasion model animals have revealed that cancer cells often exhibit collective invasion, characterized by sustained cell-to-cell adhesion and polarized invasion as cell clusters. Interestingly, it has recently become evident that during collective invasion of cancer cells, the cells localized at invasion front (leader cells) and the cells following them (follower cells) exhibit distinct cellular characteristics, and that there exist the cells expressing representative proteins related to both epithelial and mesenchymal properties simultaneously, designated as hybrid epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT)-induced cells, in cancer tissue. Furthermore, the findings that cells adopted in hybrid EMT state form clusters and show collective invasion in vitro emphasize an importance of hybrid EMT-induced cells in collective cancer invasion. In this article, we overview recent findings of the mechanism underlying collective invasion of cancer cells and discuss the possibility of controlling cancer invasion and metastasis by targeting this process.

Abstract:
This article examines the views of the Russian economist Nikolai Ivanovich Sieber on community relations both in Russia and abroad. Sieber, as is known, is the first Russian follower of Marx, who assimilated his theory in all its complexity and dialectical inconsistency. However, in this article, the main attention is paid to the position of Sieber in relation to the peasant community. If Sieber was a consistent apologist for Marx's theory, without introducing his own ideas into it, then scholar seems to be completely independent with his own point of view in matters of the community. In the community context, he argued with the narodniks, particularly with V. P. Vorontsov, about the ways of developing the Russian economy. Should it develop based on the preservation and development of the peasant community, artels, as opposed to the creation of large-scale capitalist production in Russia, or should the country strive to create a capitalist economy in which there is no place for community relations? Sieber refuted the narodnik concept of a special way of development of Russia and defended the Marxist idea that capitalism is an objective stage in the development of society and, therefore, inevitable.

Abstract:
It is nearly twenty years since the so-called energy crisis of the 1970s. This stimulated an increased awareness of the scarcity of natural resources and the necessity for their efficient and effective use. During the intervening period there has also been a mounting pressure from the ‘green’ lobby to recognize the fragility of the environment. The automobile is a significant factor world-wide with regard to both these aspects because of fuel consumption and exhaust considerations. These developments have led to intensive studies of the lubricated machine elements which are vital to the functioning of the internal combustion engine—the piston assembly, the bearings and the valve train. This paper will focus upon the valve train and in particular the fluid film lubrication of its most significant part, the cam and follower. The important role of lubricant additives, the formation of reaction films, boundary lubrication, contaminants and wear and failure mechanisms will not be addressed. In part the paper will review the background to the current position and understanding. However, attention will also be paid to a new study of a modern automobile engine valve train—that in the Ford Zeta engine. The research work described has revealed novel tribological understanding which will aid the design of future valve trains through technology transfer.

The article focuses on the artist, teacher and outstanding representative of artistic milieu of 1830 - 1860th - Apollon Nikolaevich Mokritsky. The author notes that the significance of Mokritsky for Russian art culture is determined not so much by his art works as by his epistolary heritage. That’s it allows us to consider the figure of Apollon Mokritsky from the one hand as a student of A. Venetsianov and from the other hand as a follower of K. Briullov. Particular attention is paid to the Mokritsky’s views, which define the essence of the artistic method of each of his mentors. Mokritsky’s judgments as a direct representative and observer of the artistic situation of the second third of the nineteenth century and the position of scientists of the twentieth century with respect to him were analyzed.

Abstract:
In the presented study the novel “Getting into Characterˮ (1991) by Henry Lyon Oldie (the pen name of Dmytro Hromov and Oleh Ladyzhens’ky) is considered as a part of Hamlet`s text of modern Russian-language literature. The peculiarities of the representation of the Gospel code of the novel are analysed. They are conditioned by the author’s concept of the artistic world, which assumes the recreation of reality according to the stage laws. It is established that the transformation of the Gospel code in the novel occurs at the level of the image system (Actor-Hamlet-Christ, mentor/Master-Messiah, pupil/apprentice-follower, stage word as Logos, theatre as religion, abyss as unrealised creative work), motif structure (motifs of mentoring, faith, salvation and resurrection of the soul). The ideological and thematic content of the artistic work is changed (the theme of art and its Creator, the problem of faith and faithlessness, the idea of redemption of human sins – the humanistic mission of the protagonist). It is determined by the theatricality as the most important category of the novel`s poetics, underlying the construction of the artistic reality of “Getting into Characterˮ. Special attention is paid to the representation of Shakespearean theatrical metaphor, as well as to the intertextual connection of H.L. Oldie’s novel with Shakespeare’s “Hamletˮ tragedy.

Abstract:
Currently, great attention is paid to environmental protection issues in the context of the impact of transport on the environment. Most research and analyzes on electromobility indicate that vehicles using electricity produce less pollution than vehicles powered by an internal combustion engine. Another problem is the number of vehicles on the road, causing traffic jams. A diminutive form of personal transport around the city can be proposed to reduce the number of motor vehicles on the streets. The proposed urban electric vehicle is a four-wheeled vehicle powered by a charging station based on renewable energy sources. It is intended mainly for transporting people with specific disabilities. It is intended mainly for transporting older people and people with specific disabilities. For health reasons, these people cannot use publicly available means of personal transport such as an electric scooter or an electric bicycle. The vehicle can handle bicycle paths, parks, and short distances. The use of the GPS and Line Follower systems based on the adaptation of the infrastructure to this vehicle will ensure its full autonomy. This article presents simulation tests of air resistance while driving using SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation, then examines the technical parameters of the vehicle in real conditions, i.e., city driving. The research results turn out to be promising because the use of such a vehicle seems to be practical.

Abstract:
Parodies and travesty texts of Russian journalism of the early 1870s (published in “Iskra” and “Sankt-Peterburgskie Vedomosti”) are considered in the aspect of genre functions, conventions, and elements of the “contract” between the author and the reader. The paper attempts to contextualize the parodies “Cannibals, or people of the sixties” (1871) by D. D. Minaev and “She is a criminal, or not?” (1872) by V. P. Burenin following the changing field of literature and journalism, in particular, a crisis of the polemic novel, growing popularity of actionpacked fiction and mass literature, competition of “thick magazines”, weeklies, and newspapers. Special attention is paid to the editions of two parodies. Minaev’s parody “Cannibals, or people of the sixties” is an anti-nihilistic novel in the carnival space of grotesque and satire. By revealing the unsightly sides of the originals and prototypes, excessive eroticism (against V. Avenarius and V. Krestovsky) and sensational deviance (forcing one to recall A. Pisemsky, N. Leskov and F. Dostoyevsky), indicate the exhaustion of the source material. Burenin’s parody also demonstrates the exhaustion of topical themes and motives. Claiming to be a “follower” of A. Dumas-fils, E. Zola, P. A. Ponson du Terrail, Burenin skillfully parodies both a foreign crime novel (first of all, Wilkie Collins) and domestic examples of the “same” genre (Turgenev, Dostoevsky, Akhsharumov). The parodies under study combine the baroque with the postmodernist aesthetics, making these texts available for further interpretation and commentary.

Abstract:
Henri Delacroix is a French philosopher, religious scholar and psychologist, a student and follower of Bergson. He began his activity with the study of mysticism. Following the thesis “An Essay on Speculative Mysticism in Germany in the 14th Century” (1899), where the author analyzed the teachings of Meister Eckhart and the associated intellectual movement, he published several other works where he examined other historical and national forms of mysticism. Describing different types of mystical intuition, conducting a detailed psychological analysis, Delacroix interpreted the higher forms of mystical experience, contrary to the opinions of some researchers, as an expression of deep inner life and not as a special type of neurosis. His work Studies in the History and Psychology of Mysticism: the Great Christian Mystics (1908) was highly appreciated by contemporaries, and the approach he proposed to this subject gradually gained recognition and became classical. In his philosophical and psychological works, Delacroix acted as an opponent of associationism and mental atomism. He developed the treatment of consciousness as an entity, considering the various forms and manifestations of consciousness and the unconscious in their interconnection and mutual influence. He paid special attention to the relationship between language and thinking as well as child psychology and the psychology of art. In his book Language and Thinking (1924), Delacroix, relying on the concept of F. de Saussure, developed the distinction of language and speech proposed by the latter.

The article is dedicated to the anniversary of Lev Shcherba, a famous linguist whose contribution to the development of Russian linguistics cannot be overemphasized. The year 2020 marks 140 years since his birth. This article attempts to demonstrate the applied aspects of the scholar’s work. While a lot of works have been written on various theoretical ideas suggested and/or elaborated by L. Shcherba, less attention has been paid to the specific character of his scientific creativity. Practical importance of L. Shcherba’s works for stylistics, phonetics, lexicography and grammar is underpinned. Special focus is made on the publication of a symposia series named “Russian Speech”. This series came about largely owing to L. Shcherba’s efforts. He became its perpetual editor. That was where he published a number of his crucial works. Also, Shcherba’s views on teaching foreign languages in the Soviet Union are analysed. It is noted that L. Shcherba strived to put forward effective recommendations taking into account all the obstacles in learning a foreign language that existed in the USSR. It is hard to overestimate Shcherba’s contribution to Russian linguistics as an organizer, a teacher, and a scientific advisor who managed to unify talented disciples that did their best to keep on elaborating the ideas of I. A. Baudouin de Courtenay whose most outstanding follower L. Shcherba was. His scientific and pedagogical heritage is inseparable from the traditions of Russian linguistics.

Abstract:
In this paper we are thinking, in a <em>free way</em>, about possible applications of the Information-Thermodynamics point of view in <em>biology1</em>.&nbsp; We can consider a principle loss of information (structure) within the process of generation of cells by their duplication (dividing). Within any duplication of a cell (<em>the predecessor</em>) its <em>follower</em> is generated and the distortion of the <em>duplicated</em> (copied) structure (information) of the parent cell in the follower arises. This loss is measurable by the quantity of (average) information amount. It is a loss of part of message being copied (transferred), it is a loss of information within this process of such an information transfer. (The whole <em>structure of the cell is a message</em>, also including &rsquo;a program&rsquo; for its functionality in a texture.) This mechanism of aging by a &rsquo;tooth of time&rsquo; can be described in a functional way by the <em>&rsquo;carnotized&rsquo; model of information transfer - direct Carnot Cycle viewed informationally</em>. The growth of thermodynamic entropy in its environment is similar to the mentioned loss of the cell structure, measured, in biology, by the <em>shortenning</em> the length of the cell <em>telomere</em>. The telomere is, approximatelly, a box of chromozomes and its length codes the age of the cell, or, the number of the cell&rsquo;s predecessors in the normal situation. Within the pathological proliferation of cells the opposite situation arises. In this case the cells with a <em>precise structure</em> (but, of an <em>another type</em> in comparison with the normal structure of its own original and &rsquo;normal&rsquo; type) are generated. But, this grow of structure in a certain locality in the whole organism is paid by a pumping off energy from an environment of this locality. This situation is describable again by our Information-Thermodynamic model, but by a <em>reverse</em> this time. The decreasing value of thermodynamic entropy or increasing value of information entropy is now evidenced locally with the higher growth of the thermodynamic entropy in the environment. This process is similar to the growth of the cell structure in the pathological case which growth is now measured by the <em>lengthening</em> of the cell telomeres.

Abstract:
The article examines the peculiarities, problems, and means of forming the leadership style of the follower in the process of generational change in enterprise management. A generalization of the theoretical foundations of leadership style formation is carried out. The structure and directions for ensuring the effectiveness of this process have been identified. The leadership system applied by the management of a modern enterprise can be considered a competitive advantage, the preservation of which in the process of changing generations in the management of the enterprise can be achieved by the purposeful formation of a leadership style in persons in the personnel reserve. Work with the personnel reserve should be aimed at forming a synergistic unity of content and communication components of the leadership style and solving the task of harmonizing the value systems and value orientations inherent in the manager and the company's staff. At the same time, considerable attention should be paid to the formation of such elements of leadership behavior as work with values – identification, agreement, correction; working with conflicts - development of communicative competencies of the "mediator" leadership style and the ability to use the potential of conflict to rally and unite followers; emotion management – the ability to identify emotions, changes in emotions and their integration into the motivation process. Using the theory of generations as a tool for identifying the values of different age groups allows us to simplify the mechanism of identifying potential problem areas in leadership relaying and to determine the directions of formation and development of the successor's leadership style. Both traditional forms of professional development (for the creation of essential management competencies) and modern interactive ones, training, and coaching (for the formation of integral leadership formations) should be recognized to ensure the formation of a leadership style during the change of generations at the enterprise. Keywords: leadership, leadership style, management competencies, management, enterprise management, generational theory.

AbstractIntroductionSituational awareness (SA), or being aware of what is going on and what might happen next, is essential for the successful management of prehospital emergency care. However, far too little attention has been paid to the flow of information. Having the right information is important when formulating plans and actions.ProblemThe aim of this study was to analyze and describe the type of information that is meaningful for SA in the work of paramedic field supervisors, and to create an information profile for them in the context of prehospital emergency care.MethodsData were collected from January through March 2012 from semi-structured interviews with ten paramedic field supervisors representing four rescue departments in Finland. The interviews were based on three different types of real-life scenarios in the context of prehospital emergency care, and deductive content analysis was employed according to the information exchange meta-model. Data management and analysis were performed using Atlas.ti 7.ResultsA paramedic field supervisor information interest profile was formulated. The most important information categories were Events, Means, Action Patterns, and Decisions. The profile showed that paramedic field supervisors had four roles – situation follower, analyzer, planner and decision maker – and they acted in all four roles at the same time in the planning and execution phases.ConclusionParamedic field supervisors are multitasking persons, building SA by using the available data, combining it with extensive know-how from their working methods and competencies, and their tacit knowledge. The results can be used in developing work processes, training programs, and information systems.Norri-SederholmT,KuusistoR,KurolaJ,SarantoK,PaakkonenH.A paramedic field supervisor's situational awareness in prehospital emergency care.Prehosp Disaster Med.2014;29(2):1-9.

Abstract:
The main article is devoted to the historical and philosophical reconstruction of controversy between Vladimir Solovyov and the authors of the “Faith and Reason” - a magazine of the Kharkov Theological Seminary. This controversy took its place in the “theological and journalistic” or the “theocratic” period of Solovyov’s works (1880s). Particular attention is paid to the disputes of Solovyov and T. Stoyanov (Konstantin Istomin), A.P. Shost'in and the French Orthodox priest Fr. Vladimir Gette on the theory of dogmatic development in the church. In the context of this controversy, the arguments for the “defense” of Solovyov's position, cited in the magazine “Orthodox Review” by a theologian and Konstantin Leontyev's follower Ivan Kristi are also analyzed. The reception of Solovyov's theocratic ideas and reaction to his ecclesiastical views in both the Catholic and Orthodox circles of Russian and Western society is shown. Especially it concerns the criticism of Solovyov’s ideas in the pages of the French magazines “L’Univers”, “L'Union Chrétienne”, “Revue d’Eglise greque-unie”, etc. The evolution of Solovyov's views on the problem of the union of Eastern and Western churches, the renewal of church communication between Orthodoxy and Catholicism, the main result of which was his fundamental but unfinished work “The History and Future of the Theocracy” (Zagreb, 1887) was demonstrated. A conclusion about the “superficiality” of the judgments of the majority of Vladimir Solovyov's ideological opponents, as well as later interpreters of his legacy, following the French Jesuit Michel d'Erbigny, who tried to present him as a “Russian Newman” who converted from Orthodoxy into the Catholic faith is drawn. It is shown that Solovyov’s projects of the “religion of the Holy Spirit” and the “Universal Church”, created on its basis, should be considered primarily in the context of his own philosophical quest, and not in connection with the confessional and ideological divergences of his time.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the study of the problem of transcendental experience, by which the authors understand various forms of consciousness going beyond the studied forms of human experience and cognitive practices. The problem of transcendental experience is posed as a complex one. The comprehensive approach includes the history and theory of Western European thought, the Russian philosophical tradition, and modern research. An attempt is made to problematize the possibility of integrating theological, philosophical and scientific research in this area. Special attention is paid to the cognitive aspect of the problem of transcendental experience. In this paper, the authors limit the scope of the research to the methodological task of the possibility of interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary studies of transcendental experience. The authors adhere to a post-non-classical methodology covering humanitarian campaigns and the results of natural science experimental research. The position of the embeddedness of transcendental experience in the general system of human cognitive abilities is confirmed. Transcendental experience can be considered as a qualitatively higher degree of "openness" of consciousness to the world, which implies the immediacy of perception of the object. The transcendental experience is characterized by a great depth of penetration into the object, accompanied by the experience of merging the "I" and the object, and in the limit of the "I" and the world. In the cognitive-evolutionary aspect, it is appropriate to raise the question of a new stage of transformations of consciousness. The following criteria for distinguishing genuine and false transcendental experience are proposed: reliance on a developed picture of the world; the addition of direct experience with rational reflection; spiritual/anthropological transformation as the ultimate goal of this experience; the obligation of moral self-transformation; guidance by a student from a spiritual teacher, a follower of this tradition.

Abstract:
The article offered to the reader is an overview of the fourth session of the VIII International Political Economic Congress, named after A. V. Buzgalin, «Russian Economic System: Contradictions and Development Potential,» held on May 16-17, 2024, as part of the VI Moscow Academic Economic Forum. The session was dedicated to four significant anniversaries: the 220th anniversary of the Department of Political Economy in Lomonosov Moscow State University, the 120th anniversary of the birth of N.A. Tsagolov, the 100th anniversary of the birth of V.N. Cherkovets and the 70th anniversary of the birth of A.V. Buzgalin. Addressing the history, the speakers noted the significance of outstanding scientists, the leaders of the department who were at the top of developing economic theory in the 19th century. This tradition was continued in the Soviet time. Special place in it belongs to the Tsagolov School, the significance of which in the history of economic science was determined by methodological independence and self-sufficiency, with the development of the system of laws and categories of political economy as the main result of its activity. Special attention at the session was paid to the creative path of V.N. Cherkovets, one of the brightest representatives of the Tsagolov School. Congress participants highly appreciated the work of A.V. Buzgalin, an effective follower of the Tsagolov School, who created an independent direction in economic science. His main work, which condenced the main ideas, was the two-volume book «Global Capital,» co-authored with A.I. Kolganov. The main conclusion that follows from the materials of the session is that political economy and the Tsagolov School are still relevant today, in a more complex theoretical and geopolitical configuration of world development, and political economy was and remains a fundamental science that systematizes the ongoing processes in the context of their renewal.

Abstract:
This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of the threats posed by the Rus- sian Federation’s hybrid war to Ukraine’s information security, combining va- rious types and methods of warfare to achieve its objectives. The authors high- light the importance of developing Ukrainian information troops as a response to the aggressive information propaganda by Russian special services. Various initiatives and measures taken to protect Ukraine’s information security are described, such as the activities of cyber troops, the work with chatbots of state structures, and specialized centers for countering disinformation. It is noted that it is essential to be vigilant about the information consumed, develop criti- cal thinking skills, and use reliable sources of information to avoid psychologi- cal traps and disinformation. It is emphasized that in the current Russo-Ukrainian war, Russia actively uses internet trolls to create a fake reality. These trolls operate in special under- ground offices, known as “troll factories,” to spread false information and dis- tort discussions. It is proven that Russian trolls played a significant role in in- terfering in the 2016 US elections and spreading disinformation about Ukraine. The term “Kremlinbots” has become common to describe these paid commen- tators, whose aim is to support Russian interests on social media. It is noted that the activities of trolls cause significant concern worldwide, as they interfere in the political processes of various countries, including the USA, Catalonia, and during Brexit. Troll factories use social media to spread fake news, provoca- tive comments, and compromising information. They also buy places in ran- kings and order services to boost follower counts. Opposing Russian trolls are “elves” – volunteers from the Baltic countries who fight disinformation and expose pro-Russian commentators. Their activities are supported by govern- ment organizations and journalists. Lithuanian “elves” are particularly active in detecting and combating Kremlin propaganda on the internet. The efforts of Russian trolls on social media create serious threats to information security, in- fluencing public opinion and political processes in many countries worldwide.

Abstract:
Helmut Baierl with his unique dramaturgy, special methods and ways of depicting reality was subjected to numerous criticisms and became one of the most controversial creative personalities in post-war Germany. His plays caused discussions not only in the GDR and FRG but also beyond their borders. There is still no unanimous opinion among literary critics about this playwright and his significance for drama. Some scholars call him an epigone of Bertolt Brecht, others call him a follower, then there are those who consider him an innovator, etc. Therefore, taking into account the unreflected artistic experience of this dramatist in modern literary studies, as well as his pronounced creative dialogue with B. Brecht, the article aims to give an objective assessment of H. Baierl's work and trace the playwright's implementation of the main principles of epic theatre. H. Baierl’s work with its inherent synthesis of theoretical and creative interpretations confirms the conclusion that creative writing is a dialogue of one artist with another one/ ones which results in a creative and / or theoretical interpretation of the works of the latter one / ones.&#x0D; Considerable attention is paid to H. Baierl’s theoretical and practical (creative) interpretation of works by B. Brecht. It is stated that H. Baierl’s works, presented as a plurality of creative interpretation models of different levels with certain inherent elements of parody / stylization based on their pretexts, are a synthesis of a theoretical interpretation of B. Brecht’s ideas and a creative interpretation of his plays. H. Baierl not only continues the dramaturgical traditions of the master, but also adopts his characters in a certain way, tells their stories further, tracking them under other socio-historical circumstances. A comparison of the plays of both playwrights and their theoretical works shows a kinship in views on the purpose and aim of drama, as well as a community of ideological and aesthetic principles.

Abstract:
Celem niniejszego artykułu jest próba ukazania wpływu dziedzictwa leningradzkiego metropolity Nikodema (Rotowa) na działalność patriarchy Moskwy i całej Rusi Cyryla I. Temat został rozwinięty w trzech częściach. Na początku przedstawiono w dużym skrócie życie i dzieło leningradzkiego Metropolity. Następnie omówiono wybrane aspekty życia i działalności patriarchy Cyryla w relacji do dzieła metropolity Nikodema. W toku badań uwidoczniono jednocześnie znaczące różnice w podejściu obu hierarchów do niektórych kwestii, w tym zwłaszcza do dialogu z Kościołem katolickim. Wszystko to sprawia, że patriarchy Cyryla nie można uznać jako wiernego kontynuatora dzieła leningradzkiego Metropolity. The aim of the present article is an attempt at presenting the influence of the heritage of Metropolitan of Leningrad Nikodim (Rotov) on the activity of Kiryll I, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia. The topic has been discussed in three parts. At first, the author briefly presented the life and work of the Metropolitan of Leningrad. Next, he discussed selected aspects of life and work of Patriarch Kiryll in juxtaposition with the work of Metropolitan Nikodim. Thus, the author paid special attention to the three following issues: their respective formations and Church careers, symphony of church and state as reflected in their respective policies, their contacts with the Vatican. The final part includes the outcome of the author’s reflection and his conclusions. Thus, the heritage of Metropolitan Nikodim, especially its aspect concerning cooperation of church and state, was an important source of inspiration for Patriarch Kiryll’s work in the Church. The present investigation made also clear significant differences in both hierarchs’ attitudes toward some issues, especially the dialogue with the Roman Catholic Church. This is why, eventually, Patriarch Kiryll cannot be considered a faithful follower of the Metropolitan of Leningrad.

Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effect of humble leadership on employee proactive behavior. The authors propose that such effect is mediated by psychological empowerment, and identification with leader moderates the intervening role of psychological empowerment in the humble leadership-employee proactive behavior relationship. Design/methodology/approach Data were collected from 286 subordinate-supervisor dyads from 4 industries in Northern China. Hierarchical linear modeling analyses were applied to test the research model. Findings Humble leadership has a significantly positive effect on employee proactive behavior, and this effect is mediated by psychological empowerment. Furthermore, the identification with leader moderates the mediated relationships between humble leadership and employee proactive behavior via psychological empowerment. Research limitations/implications One limitation is that the data were collected cross-sectionally. Further research could conduct longitudinal research to retest the hypotheses. The present research has a number of implications. First, the authors extend humble leadership research. Second, the authors also contribute to humble leadership literature by addressing the lack of attention paid to the explanatory mechanism linking humble leader behavior to follower outcomes. Third, the authors provide a new insight into the boundary condition of humble leadership. Practical implications Managers should demonstrate more humble behaviors in their leading process to influence employees’ psychological empowerment and proactive behavior. In addition, managers should provide employees with sincere care in relation to work and life issues to produce employees’ identification with leader. Social implications Humility is a modifiable trait that individuals can increase dramatically by practice. Humble behavior is more accessible and easier to cultivate, contrary to the stable trait of humility. Besides, our results confirmed the individuals with the virtue of humility are most likely to succeed. Thus, humble behaviors should be highly advocated and encouraged in our society. Originality/value This research extends humble leadership research by constructing and verifying the theoretical model of humble leader behavior and employee proactive behavior and by demonstrating the value of humble leader behavior in a non-Western context, and identifies the different roles of psychological empowerment and identification with leader on employee proactive behavior.

Abstract:
The study is devoted to one of the local phenomena in the evolution of Russian Orthodoxy - the doctrine of the "New Prophecy" created in the territory of the Kama region by the Perm official Adrian Pushkin and continued in the writings of his follower Alexander Korobov. The main purpose is to establish the logic of the evolution of "prophetic" narratives of this kind as manifestations of vernacular religiosity. The sources for the analysis are messages addressed to Pushkin himself, as well as newspaper and magazine publications and Korobov's polemical letters contained in the central archives and archives of the Perm region. To verify the information received, materials from police cases filed against the "new prophets" were used. The starting points of the analysis are considered in the reconstruction of the biography of both thinkers in order to establish the degree of influence in the ideological aspect. The main provisions of the teaching proposed by Pushkin in its evolution are consistently stated, as well as the corrections and additions made to this teaching by Korobov. The texts are analyzed as having a doctrinal character, without taking into account the social context and the peculiarities of the psyche of their authors. In the course of the analysis, the changes that Pushkin and Korobov tried to make to the Christian doctrine are highlighted, special attention is paid to the innovations that the latter introduces. Structurally, the new teaching includes a new interpretation of the image of the Trinity, the development of the idea of Christian prophecies through new personalities, a set of predictions of an eschatological nature. Important components are criticism of the existing power of the emperor and official institutions, as well as proposals for the reorganization of public life. The changes proposed by the new prophets, especially Alexander Korobov, make it possible to draw parallels between their ideas and the positions of the reformist churches of the West. The combination in religious narratives of an individual interpretation of Christian positions, elements of scientific and near-scientific concepts and ideas related to the restructuring of society, allows for considering these "prophecies" as a combination of vernacular religiosity and reformist tendencies in the Russian Orthodoxy.

Abstract:
The article discusses the evolution of the symphonic work of one of the leading Danish composers of our time, Per Nørgård. Eight symphonies created by him in the period from 1953 to 2011 have a complex of peculiar features and demonstrate an individual approach to the genre. The article gives their general characteristics, reveals the role of Sibelius and Holmboe in the creative development of Nørgård, uncovers the principles of the compositional structure of cycles, and traces the links with tradition. Special attention is paid to the original compositional technique (the principle of “infinite series”, the system of melodic, harmonic and rhythmic hierarchy, the method of “tone lakes”) and its connections with the artistic conception of compositions. The author proposes a periodization of symphonic work and suggests that its evolution is subject to dialectical logic. Starting as a follower of the Scandinavian (and, more broadly, European) symphonic tradition, which is based on a humanistic idea, the composer later focuses on an issues of the hierarchical structure of the world and the self-movement of sound matter. In the works of the later period, he returns to the theme of the Man and the World, which acquires a new “sound” thanks to the accumulated experience.

Abstract:
This research explores the transformative function of AI in the improved scalable content creation for micro-influencer marketing agencies. Micro influencer is defined as an individual with social media follower count between 1,000 and 100,000 which provide high engagement rate and niche audience trust, making them the choice asset for targeted marketing campaigns. Nevertheless, the flow of frequent customized content for several influencers may bury small to mid-sized agencies and its scope for client expansion. The main aim of this study is to review the ways in which AI-based tools streamline the content creation process and as a result, agencies can boost productivity, content quality and campaign performance, while retaining their human resources. The research takes a mixed methods approach: Qualitative data were collected in the form of case studies of selected micro-influencer marketing agencies that have incorporated AI into their workflows, and quantitative data were drawn from industry reports published recently by platforms like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Canva, and others that publish performance metrics. Discoveries show how AI considerably cuts down content production time, approximately 30–40%, via automatic generation of captions, choice of hashtags, visual design, and video editing adapted to the influencer personae. In addition, AI-powered analytics platforms assist in identification of audience preferences, content trends, and optimum posting times leading to an additional 25% improvement in such engagement metrics as likes, shares and comments. Content relevance and brand loyalty are further increased through emotional targeting using natural language processing. The research ends with the conclusion that AI is an essential enabler of scalability capability in micro-influencer marketing. Through automation of routine tasks and strategic decision support with data analysis that is real-time, AI unlocks potential to enable agencies to serve a wider range of clients profitably and feature efficiently. The point of the research is also the availability of AI tools, that is, free-to-use (such as AI features of Canva) and paid (such as Sprout Social), making the adoption of AI possible for agencies that have poor financial capabilities. Such results highlight the necessity of AI integration. The study looks at it as a competitive advantage in this rapidly changing digital marketing world.

Abstract:
The article outlines the field of activity of researchers of management science - Marie Parker Follett and Lillian Moller Gilbert, who worked in the first half of the 20th century in the United States of America and were supporters of various schools of management. This study of the principal areas of their activity, the general problems they encountered in research that is the purpose of this work. The relevance of the topic is figured out by the key statements of the researchers about the place of employees in the management system, the level of their satisfaction with working conditions and consistency in making managerial decisions. Discovered that Marie Parker Follett, in researching the direction of humanistic management, first formulated ideas that are characteristic of the school of human relations. An insufficient assessment and recognition of the importance of Marie Follett's scientific achievements is revealed which is associated with the political situation of the first half of the 20th century, her gender and education. It was determined that the basic principles of management outlined by the researcher are oriented towards the person, his needs, place in the team and role in the management of the enterprise. It was proven that the scientific activity of Lillian Moller Gilbert as a follower of F. Taylor is related to scientific management and her research activity can be divided into two stages: the first stage - in collaboration with her husband and the second stage - independent research work. Collaboration with Frank B. Gilbreth allowed to include the assessment of the human factor in the sphere of scientific management, which contributed to the development of ergonomics, which contributed to achieving a balance between work and personal life of employees. It was found that the components of scientific management of Lillian Gilbert as well Marie Follett, were focused primarily on the individuals. Lillian Moller Gilbert considered the training of the employee, his welfare to be the most key factors, and she identified modernity with efficiency. Since caring for the person, his welfare was significant for Lillian Moller Gilbert. She paid attention not only to creating conditions for increasing the efficiency of work in the workplace but also the efficiency of homework. It was found that there are no scientific works by O. Rozmyrovych in open sources and the available information about her scientific achievements, which are referred to by different authors are not confirmed by the original sources.
