Abstract:
Аim. To create a working collection of the sea buckthorn gene pool for priority breeding trends. Results and Discussion. Scientific and practical results of building up and studying the working collection of the buckthorn gene pool of the Institute of Horticulture of NAAS are presented. Aspects of formation of a working collection and their comparative identification by genetic profiles are analyzed. Morphobiological characteristics and economically valuable features of sea buckthorn plants are summarized. Conclusions. Targeted introduction and studies of the adaptive and productive potentials of sea buckthorn in the experimental fields of the Institute of Horticulture (northern forest-steppe of Ukraine) in 2017-2019 allowed us to transfer the most promising genotypes to the National Center for Plant Genetic Resources of Ukraine (NCPGRU) of the Рlant Production Institute named after VYa Yuriev of NAAS of Ukraine, where, after expert evaluation, they were assigned catalog numbers and included in a list of plants of the genetic bank of Ukraine: F 1-15-1 or Nosivchanka (UA3700073), F 1-15-8S or Mitsna (UA3700079), male form 1-15 -6Ch or Aboryhеn 6/11 (UA3700080), F 1-15-9 or Karotynna (UA3700082), F 1-15-3 or Pamiatka (UA3700076), F 1-15-8V or Soniachne Siayvo (UA3700075), 1-15-11 or Lymonna (UA3700072), F 2-15-73 or Morkviana (UA3700077), F 1-15-5 or Adaptyvna (UA3700078), F 1-15-8B or Osoblyva (UA3700083), F 1-15-6 or Apelsynova (UA3700084), F 6А/11 (UA3700081), and F 1-15-5а or Sribnolysta 5a (UA3700074).

Abstract:
The authors present the results of the sea buckthorn breeding at the Institute of Horticulture (NAAS). The stages of the work have been analyzed – from studying and selecting the initial material in the conditions of the Polissya, Polissya-Lisosteppe and Lisosteppe ecotopes (2012-2016) to the successful targeted introduction to the Northern part of the Lisosteppe (2017-2019) and new forms have been characterized according to the traits valuable for economy and molec-ular genetic markers. The new forms of the researched crop taking into consideration the high indices of their productiv-ity,adaptivity to the unfavourable abiotic and biotic environmental factors and consumption quality of fruits for pro-cessing and making functionary products were entered officially into Genetic Fund of the Plants of Ukraine as con-firmed by the certificates of copyright and developed genetic passports. The list of these genotypes includes 1-15-1 (Nos-ivchanka, UA3700073), 1-15-8S (Mitsna, UA3700079), make form 1-15-6Ch (Aboryhen 6/11, UA3700080), 1-15-9 Ka-rotynna, UA3700082), 1-15-3 (Pamiatka, UA3700076), 1-15-8V (Soniachne siayvo, UA3700075), 1-15-11 (Lymonna, UA3700072), 2-15-73 (Morkviana, UA3700077), 1-15-5 (Adaptyvna, UA3700078), 1-15-8B (Osoblyva, UA3700083), 1-15-6 (Apelsynova, UA3700084) and forms 6A/11 (UA3700081), 1-15-5a (Sribnolysta 5a, UA3700074). The possibility of using 5 DNA markers to characterize genotypes of sea buckthorn bymeans of the molecular genetic markers was tested and evaluated in the framework of the scientific cooperation with the Institute of Cell Biology and Genetic Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. It should be noted that the most polymorphic markers were HrMS025 and HrMS026. However, the marker HrMS014 was monomorphic, but appeared in all the samples, so it can be used as a reference. The best forms of sea buckthorn Adaptyvna (certificate №190899) and Osoblyva (certificate №190900) were included into the State Register of Plant Varieties Suitable for dissemination in Ukraine, and the cultivars of the univer-sal use Nadiina (applications №18299010), Oliana (applications №18299009) and Morkviana (applications № 20299001) and cv pollinator Obrii (applications №18299008) undergo the State strain test. The attention is concentrat-ed on the promising directions of the new sea buckthorn genotypes for the prior breeding and genetic investigations at the Institute of Horticulture (NAAS) and its network.

Abstract:
Посилання Anderson, 2001 – Anderson B. Voobrazhaemыe soobshchestva. Abstract:
Peas have become the most important leguminous crop worldwide. Large areas in Russia are used for pea growing. Unfavourable weather and climatic conditions often lead to a significant yield decline. There is an urgent need to develop new high-yielding varieties adapted to local conditions. The current paper presents the results of long-term breeding of modern pea cultivars Chishminsky 229, Pamiati Hangildina, Pamiati Popova, meeting the requirements of agricultural production. The research was conducted in the Bashkir Agricultural Research Institute. The varieties were bred by repeated single selection based on intervariety hybridization. Chishminsky 229 and Pamiati Hangildina cultivars are included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements. Pamiati Popova is currently undergoing state variety testing. According to the comparative testing in 2016-2020, the excess yield compared to Chishminsky 95 standard variety was 2.1 c/ha for Chishminsky 229 variety, 1.9 c/ha for Pamiati Hangildina cultivar, and 3.2 c/ha for Pamiati Popova cultivar.

Abstract:
The events presently taking place in the Baltic are so interesting that I am almost prepared to cede my time to Alex Shtromas. Pamiat’ is clearly a less intriguing phenomenon than the issues he has been discussing.I have been asked to talk about Pamiat’ as a social movement and basically my response is that it is not one. It is not a social movement. Pamiat’ would like very much to be one, but recent events have made clear that the response of ethnic Russians living in the RSFSR to Pamiat’ has been very restrained. We know this due to various polls which have been published in the Soviet press and due to the elections to the USSR Congress of People's Deputies, which showed that Pamiat’ had little support. I suspect that the upcoming elections in March 1990 to the RSFSR Supreme Soviet will also demonstrate the same lack of support for Pamyat'. (They did so, conclusively.)

Abstract:
The paper deals with the meaning of the Old Russian plurale tantum pamiati, hitherto attested only in a 17th-century list of food served at banquets that is published in Ivan Zabelin’s Domashnii byt russkikh tsarei. The tentative meaning ‘brain (of crane)’ proposed in the Slovarʹ russkogo iazyka 11–17 vv. does not reflect actual practice. Other 17th- and 18th-century written sources, primarily food lists but also lexicographic sources and Russian dialect data, allow for the definition ‘breastbone and meat (of poultry).’ In this meaning, as well as in other meanings of the Russian dialectal word pamiati, the plural and the singular forms are synonyms. In the newly found context of the 17th-century Skazka o molodtse, kone i sable, the word pamiati refers to the breastbone of a horse, so the meaning can now be more precisely defined as ‘breastbone and meat (of poultry and cattle).’ The definition of pamiati proposed in the Slovarʹ russkogo iazyka 11–17 vv. seems to reflect the “mental” notion of memory as being positioned in the head, whereas the meaning ‘breastbone and meat (of poultry and cattle),’ discussed here, relates rather to the ancient idea of memory as being placed in the breast.

Abstract:
This article examines the history of the Soviet dissident historical collection Pamiat΄ through the lens of liminality. It argues that the publication sought to bridge the gap between dissident and professional scholarship, between grassroots memory collection, with its emphasis on the witness's voice, and historical research's reliability and “scientificity.” Although Pamiat΄ was inspired by earlier dissident historiographical projects and its editorial team was closely linked to the human-rights movement, its ambitions of objectivity and representativeness also connect it to later Perestroika projects based on citizen involvement, such as Memorial. Pamiat΄s ambiguous identity and claim to neutrality may have delayed the Soviet authorities’ response to it, but repression eventually hit the publication. By putting into question the state's monopoly on historical scholarship and connecting readers and contributors across the Iron Curtain, Pamiat΄ had clearly overstepped the boundaries of the permissible and acquired a political meaning it disingenuously claimed not to have.

Abstract:
The study was carried out to investigate effect of mineral (CAN) and organo-mineral (OMF) top-dress nitrogen fertilizers on physiological and morphological parameters in three barley cultivars. The study revealed significant differences in the reaction of the cultivars in magnitude and direction of the yield structure elements. CAN had smaller effect on the studied parameters than OMF. CAN had no effect on grain yield and straw mass. Only for the cv. Novichok, there was an increase in grain weight from the main ear (15%), the length of the main ear (15%), the 1000-grain weight (2.9%). OMF led to increase grain yield in the cv. Novichok (43%), Pamiaty Rodinoy (16%), and did not change in the cv. Rodnik Prikamya. Only the cv. Novichok has increased the grain mass from the main ear (17%). The length of the main ear increased in the cv. Novichok (13%), Pamiaty Rodinoy (11%) but decreased in the cv. Rodnik Prikamya (7.5%). The influence of OMF increased the 1000-grain weight in the cv. Novichok (4.9%) and Pamiaty Rodinoy (2.5%), but decreased in the cv. Rodnik Prikamya (1.5%). Statistically differences were revealed in reaction of pigment complexes of flag and second leaves in all cultivars.

Abstract:
The goal of the research is to identify the most productive and environmentally sustainable varieties of pear in the conditions of the Central Black Earth region of Russia. The research was carried out from 2015 to 2017 in the Oryol Oblast on leached black earth. The average humus content in the arable layer was 6.0–6.5%, phosphorus – 21–27 mg/100g, potassium – 12–15 mg/100 g. Soil acidity was 5.7–6.1. The thickness of the humus horizon was 40–75 cm. The degree of saturation of the bases was within 91%. Climate in the region is moderate-continental, heat is sufficient for the normal growth and development of fruit plants. The trees were planted in 2004; the scheme of planting was 6x4 m. The stock was seedlings of common pear. Accounting was conducted using the “Program and method of studying fruit, berry and nut crop varieties” (Oryol, 1999). The varieties Pamiati Yakovleva and Annushka are characterized by a restrained growth force – 3.5–3.8 m. In the natural climatic conditions of the Oryol Oblast, the Annushka and Velesa varieties are considered hardy, the Rossoshanskaya krupnaya and Svetlyanka – medium-hardy. Varieties Annushka and Velesa are quite resistant to the pathogens of scab, brown and white spotting – the average score for damage to fruits and leaves did not exceed 1.5. On average, for 3 years the yield of the Rossoshanskaya krupnaya pear variety was at the level of the zoned control variety Pamiati Yakovleva. Yields were 112.2 and 108.3 centners per hectare, respectively. The yield of the Annushka variety was 7.5 centners per hectare, or 6.7% higher than that of the control variety.

Abstract:
Objective. To compare morphological, cultural, physiological, biochemical, and symbiotic properties of strains of nodule chickpea bacteria isolated from different soil and climatic zones of Ukraine. Methods. Microbiological, microscopic, gas-chromatographic, statistical. Results. From the nodules of chickpea plant of varieties Skarb, Admiral, Odissei, Budzhak, Triumf and Pamiat, grown in the steppe zone of Ukraine (Region of Odessa), where an active rhizobia population was formed due to the continuous cultivation of this crop, 58 isolates of bacteria were isolated; 11 iso-lates were isolated from the nodules of plants of Triumf and Pamiat varieties selected in the forest-steppe zone (Region of Lviv), in the fields where chickpea was grown for the first time. It has been established that the strains of Mesorhizobium sp. 1 and Mesorhizobium sp. 2, which were isolated from the nodules of chickpea plants grown in the fields with an active rhizobia population of this culture, form colonies of 2–4 mm in size at day 3–4 on the mannitol yeast agar and, according to cultural and morphological properties correspond to the characteristics of the species Mesorhizo-bium ciceri. Their use for pre-sowing chickpea inoculation increases the mass of nodules (2– 3 times) and nitrogenase activity (1.4–2 times) compared with the results obtained using the pro-duction strain of Mesorhizobium ciceri H-12. Inoculation with Mesorhizobium sp. 11, isolated from the forest-steppe zone, which on a mannitol yeast agar forms a colony of 1–2 mm in size at day 5–6, contributed to a significant increase in the number of nodules on the roots of plants (by 40.5 %), their mass (by 31 %), but the increase in nitrogenase activity was negligible. Conclusion. Strains of Mesorhizobium sp. isolated from chickpea nodules grown in different soil-climatic zones of Ukraine, have similar cell morphology, but differ in growth rate, cultural, physiological, biochemi-cal, and symbiotic properties.

Abstract:
Objective. To screen modern varieties of chickpeas of Ukrainian selection by the response to bacterization, to identify varieties characterized by high increases in symbiotic activity and yield. Methods. Biotesting, gas-chromatographic, field experiment, statistical. Results. The response to bacterization of chickpea seeds of different varieties was studied in a field experiment in the southern region of Ukraine (Region of Odesa). As a result of inoculation of chickpea seeds with a bacterial suspension of an effective strain of Mesorhizobium ciceri ND-64, a significant increase in nodulation activity was registered. The highest increase in the number of nodules (51.6 % and 53 %) was reported for the varieties Odysei and Triumf. Upon seed inoculation with the studied strain, a significant increase in the weight of nodules of the Triumf variety (2.3 times) was shown. In the control variants, the nitrogenase activity in the nodules of Skarb variety plants was the highest (425 nmol C2H4/plant per hour), and in the Budzhak variety it was the lowest (159 nmol C2H4/plant per hour). Inoculation of seeds with bacterial suspension of M. ciceri ND-64 contributed to a significant increase in the studied parameter in the varieties Budzhak, Pamiat, Odysei and Triumf. The latter was characterized by the most significant response to inoculation with an effective strain in terms of nodulation and nitrogenase activity. Symbiotic parameters showed the weakest ability to respond to inoculation in terms of symbiotic parameters in Skarb variety. Pamiat variety was characterised by the maximum number of seeds per plant (18.5 units/plant). However, as a result of inoculation of chickpea seeds with M. ciceri ND-64, the number of seeds increased the most in the variety Skarb and amounted to 28.7 units/plant. In terms of seed weight, the Triumph variety was superior (9.5 g/plant). The yield of all studied varieties of chickpeas after bacterization of seeds with M. ciceri ND-64 significantly exceeded the control variants (without inoculation) by 21–56 %. The highest increase in control was observed for the varieties Triumph (0.49 t/ha) and Skarb (0.56 t/ha). The ability of nodule bacteria M. ciceri ND-64 to intensive synthesis of phytohormones and the formation of highly effective symbiosis with chickpea plants of different varieties provided a complementary interaction of rhizobia with plants and a significant increase in crop yield. Conclusion: Due to the interaction with aboriginal nodule bacteria, the highest parameters of nodulation and nitrogenase activity were typical for the varieties Triumf and Skarb, yields for Triumf and Budzhak. Screening of varieties by the response to inoculation with an effective strain of M. ciceri ND-64 indicates an increase in symbiotic activity in varieties Triumf, Budzhak (large-seeded), Pamiat (medium-seeded). The maximum increase in yield as a result of inoculation was found in chickpea varieties Skarb and Triumf. M. ciceri ND-64 are capable of active synthesis of substances of phytohormonal nature, which contributes to the effective interaction between rhizobia and chickpea plants.

Full text
Abstract:
In this article Aaron Beaver analyzes two elegies written by Joseph Brodsky—one for his father (“Pamiati ottsa: Avstraliia“) and one for his mother (“Mysl’ o tebe udaliaetsia …“). The point of departure is Brodsky's appropriation of the genre from his Silver Age predecessors (Anna Akhmatova, Osip Mandel'shtam, Marina Tsvetaeva), as made evident in a number of Brodsky's well-known essays. Beaver's central thesis is that Brodsky reshapes the elegy by centering it not on the death of the loved one but on time. Brodsky is inspired in this endeavor by his Silver Age forebears, but he extends their poetic practice into more philosophical territory. Specifically, close reading of Brodsky's two elegies exposes a model of time consistent with the temporal idealism elaborated by Jean- Paul Sartre inBeing and Nothingness.Based on this exegesis Beaver ventures to generalize about the nature of lyricism in Brodsky's verse, arguing that it is inseparable from his philosophical assumptions.

The purpose of the article is to study the influence of variety peculiarities and the method of freezing on quality indices of cherry berries. Research methods. The research was carried out during 2016−2018 with berries of cherry varieties: Zhadana, Shans, Elehantna, Optymistka, Podbielska, Alfa, Pamiat Artemenka, grown at the Research Station of Pomology named after L. P. Symyrenka of the IH NAAS. Fruits of berries were picked at the consumer stage of maturation, then they were presorted, inspected, washed, frozen in plastic cups at the temperature of -22−24 °C in prepared sugar syrups according to the following variants: in bulk (control); in 25 % sugar syrup; in 20 % sugar syrup with 4 % of ascorutin added; in 45 % sugar syrup. The berries were stored at -18 °C. The research results. Studies have shown that the content of sugar in fresh cherry berries was within the range of 10.14−10.96 %. After freezing of cherry berries in 45 % sugar syrup and 20 % sugar syrup with adding 4 % of ascorutin the loss of sugar was the least – 2.26−8.88 % and 3.3−10.16 %, correspondingly. The acid content in the studied cherry berries was 1.67−2.02 %, it was the smallest in Elehantna variety – 1.67 %, and the highest in Pamiat Artemenka – 2.02 %. During the three months of freezing, the acid content decreased by 2.19−11.9 % as compared with fresh berries, and at the end of freezing there was a slight increase in their content by 0.5−3.47 %. The elements of scientific novelty. The berries of Alfa, Pamiat Artemenka, and Shans varieties were distinguished by the most harmonious taste. The least decrease in the sugar-acid index in cherry was observed in berries frozen in 45 % sugar syrup and 20 % sugar syrup with 4 % ascorutin added. Practical significance. In order to preserve a harmonious taste with a high sugar-acid index, the cherry berries must be frozen in 20 % solution of sugar with adding 4 % of ascorutin.

Abstract:
Objective. Study the competitiveness, complementarity and symbiotic activity of a new strain of chickpea nodule bacteria Mesorhizobium ciceri ND-64, study the influence of seed inoculation on the productivity and yield of chickpea varieties of Ukrainian selection under their cultivation in different soil and climatic zones of Ukraine. Methods. Serological, gas chromatography, field experiment and statistical. Results. The use of a new strain of M. ciceri ND-64 for pre-sowing bacterization of chickpea seeds of varieties Skarb, Admiral, Odysei, Budzhak, Triumf and Pamiat upon growing in field experiments in the Steppe zone against the background of the local population of nodule bacteria contributes to a significant increase in nitrogen-fixing nodules by 5 % to 67 %, an increase in the mass of nodules by 10 % to 67 % and nitrogenase activity 26 % to 150 % compared with the positive control (inoculation with the reference strain of M. ciceri H-12). The use of M. ciceri ND- 64 for pre-sowing bacterization of chickpea seeds under cultivation in the Steppe zone of Ukraine also had a positive effect on increasing the yield of chickpea — by 4 % to 18 % compared to the positive control. Inoculation with a new strain of chickpea seeds of varieties Skarb, Triumf and Pamiat contributed to the formation of higher number of nodules (by 57 % to 89 %), increaseed mass of nodules (2.2–2.9 times) and their nitrogenase activity (2–4 times) compared with the positive control upon cultivation in the Polissia zone on the fields where there is no population of chickpea rhizobia. Under these conditions, an increase in structural parameters of yield, the highest gain in chickpea yield, increase in photosynthetic activity and protein content in grain upon inoculation with M. ciceri ND-64 was shown. Obtaining a specific antisera by immunization of rabbits allowed to detect serological relatedness of M. ciceri ND-64, M. ciceri H-101, Mesorhizobium sp. ND-601 and M. ciceri ND-64, isolated from chickpea nodules of Skarb and Pamiat varieties. The competitiveness of M. ciceri ND-64 was determined using the immunological method in the field experiment. It was found that 100 % of nodules have been formed by the representatives of M. ciceri ND-64 in the variant where this serological group was applied for inoculation in the variant with inoculation of the strain M. ciceri ND-64 100 % of the nodules were formed by representatives of this serogroup. Conclusion. M. ciceri ND-64 strain is an effective microsymbiont of chickpea plants, due to its virulence, competitiveness, nitrogen-fixing properties. According to the results of field experiments, it was shown that the new strain, complementary to all studied varieties differing in seed size and shape, type of bush and average height, forms an effective symbiosis for growing chickpea plants both against the active local population of rhizobia and upon the absence of M. cicerі population in the soil. Symbiotic parameters upon seed treatment with suspension of M. ciceri ND-64 exceed these values in the variants with inoculation using the reference strain of M. ciceri H-12 and strains isolated from the nodules of each study variety. Therefore, M. ciceri ND-64 can be used as a bioagent of a microbial preparation for inoculation of chickpea of different varieties in order to form an effective bean-rhizobial symbiosis, increase the productivity of this culture and improve seed quality.

Abstract:
Dziedzictwo świętych Cyryla i Metodego w powiązaniu z dziełem św.

Abstract:
Aim. To compare winter bread wheat accessions of different origin for spike productivity elements and yield capacity. Results and Discussion. 104 winter bread wheat accessions from 10 countries were studied. We distinguished, an accession from Turkey, SWW 1-904 (12.8 cm) due to its long spike. The largest number of spikelets was recorded in accessions SWW 1-904 (TUR), Veha (RUS) and Pamiatі Hіrka (UKR) - 21 spikelets. Turkish accession SWW 1-904 was noticeable for the grain number per spike. The greatest spike density was observed in accession Zluka (UKR) - 2.5 spikelets / cm. The spike weight and grain weight per spike were the highest in SWW 1-904 (TUR): 6.0 g and 4.5 g, respectively. Accessions Lehenda Myronivska (0.81), Prydniprovska (UKR), Kuma, Yunona, Avgusta (RUS) (0.80) had the highest index of spike productivity. The 1000-grain weight of 55.0 g was recorded in intensive variety SWW 1-904 (TUR). Accessions from Ukraine, Darynka Kyivska and Raihorodka combined high winter hardiness (9 points) with high yield capacity (955 g/m2). Conclusions. Thus, winter bread wheat accessions that are valuable starting material for developing new varieties with a set of important economic features, were identified. They can increase the breeding efficiency and accelerate the breeding process.

Abstract:
Purpose. To establish economic feasibility of growing walnut rootstocks. Methods. Walnut seedlings, promising as rootstocks in Ukraine, were studied in nurseries IE Zatokovyi V. Yu. (Sloboda Komarivtsi village, Storozhynets district, Chernivtsi region) during 2018–2020. Economic efficiency of growing rootstocks was determined according to the Method of economic and energy assessment of types of fruit and berry plantations, pomological varieties and the results of technological research in horticulture (2002). Results. To determine the economic efficiency of seedling cultivation, the technological map of walnut seedling cultivation was analyzed. The largest share in the structure of costs was accounted for by labor remuneration – 86.7%. The reason was the use of manual labor, which accounted for 96.5% of the total technology of growing seedlings. The level of mechanization of cultivation was only 3.5%. The total fuel consumption per 1 hectare was 120.7 liters, or UAH 2,957.20 in monetary terms. Thus, fuel consumption accounted for a small share – 0.4% of the cost of one seedling. One hectare of land provided an output of 65 thousand pcs of walnut seedlings, which amounted to 1,625 thousand UAH at a cost of 25 UAH/piece. Material costs amounted to 46.16 thousand UAH/ha (total costs – 712.43 thousand UAH). Therefore, the cost was extremely low and the level of profitability was extremely high. Conclusions. Growing walnut seedlings of the varieties ‘Slava Ukrainy’, ‘Pamiati Zatokovoho’, ‘Lysychanskyi’ is economically feasible. This is due to the relatively low cost of one seedling (UAH 10.82) and high profitability of production of the original breeding material for grafting and planting industrial crops.

Abstract:
The paper focuses on poetry-based video performances conducted by the participants of the “Creative Youths Seminar” (CYS), which was founded in 1995. Adaptability is one of the most essential features of all seminar clusters. It leads to constant transformations in a general program and within poetry performance laboratory (existing as a part of CYS since 2015) in particular, due to socio-cultural and political context. In 2020, because of the quarantine restrictions, CYS for the first time changed its regular face-to-face form to a remoteone and took place online. Live performance cluster transformed into a three-day marathon of video performances. During that time 24 participants made over 70 video performances that lasted for more than 100 minutes in total (there was a record number in every category of a CYS performance cluster). Nearly half of the performances were poetry-based. Almost a third part was based on the poems by Ukrainian Futurist writers Oleksa Vlyzko, Mykhail Semenko, Oleksa Slisarenko, Andrii Chuzhyi, Geo Shkurupii, and Yulian Shpol. The article analyzes five poetry-based video performances that refer to the poems by Geo Shkurupii as pretexts: “A Talk with a Future Self ” by Yaroslav Boruta, “I Want to Be a Furniture” by Vladyslava Demianchuk (Dadi), “Oh Little Boy” by Natalia Matsybok-Starodub, “Czech Scotch Tape” by Iryna Pavlenko (Ira Pamiatai), and “The Future of Cherry Orchards” by Viktoriia Feshchuk. The pretexts, poetry performance texts (if any), and their intermedial connections with video performances have been examined. The researcher concludes that poetry-based performances let the artists not only experience the text traditionally but also ‘live through the text’, or, in other words, create a personal physical experience of the pretext and offer the audience another perspective on the pretext with the help of non-literary media.
