Abstract:
The study was designed for ethanolic extraction of papaya leaf, phytochemical screening of the extract, formulation of papaya leaf gel by using carbopol 934 and characterization of the herbal gel. The fresh papaya leaves were collected and extracted by maceration process using ethanol as a solvent. The extract was analysed by UV spectrophotometer and IR spectroscopy for identification of phytochemical compounds. Then the phytochemical evaluation was performed and the presence of glycoside, tannins, flavonoids and saponins were observed. The herbal gel was prepared by using carbopol 934 polymer

Abstract
Papaya plants (Carica papaya L) besides being a food ingredient are also believed to have medicinal properties and are used traditionally, one of which is in dealing with acne problems. The purpose of this study was to formulate papaya leaf extract in the form of a gel preparation and test its antibacterial activity against the Propionibacterium acnes bacteria. The preparation of the ethanol extract of papaya leaves was made in three concentrations namely 5, 10 and 15%, then tested for antibacterial activity and compared with negative controls (blank gel) and positive control (e

Background: The destruction of tooth supporting structures as a result of an inflammatory host response is the characteristic of periodontitis. Mechanical plaque management techniques like non-surgical periodontal therapy (NSPT) is crucial for preventing these diseases. Carica papaya leaves are rich in nutrients and vitamins and possess antibacterial, anti-fungal, properties and can be used as a reasonably safe alternative to synthetic pharmaceuticals. Objectives were to evaluate, compare and correlate the clinical parameters at baseline and 21st day after non-surgical periodontal therapy alon

One of the infectious diseases on the skin that is often experienced by the Indonesian population is acne. The main bacteria that cause acne is Propionibacterium acnes. Efforts to treat acne are by using cosmetics in the form of skincare and antibiotics, but long-term use of antibiotics can cause resistance. Papaya leaves have secondary metabolite compounds in the form of alkaloids, tannins, and flavonoids that have antibacterial activity. This study aims to determine the formulation of papaya leaf extract serum gel preparation that meets the requirements in the evaluation and to determine the

Abstract—Propionibacterium acnes is a bacterium that significantly contributes to the development and progression of acne—the phenomenon of bacterial proliferation. The alkaloid carpain present in papaya leaf extract exhibits antibacterial properties against Propionibacterium acnes, a bacterium associated with the development of acne. The facial wash is a cleansing product that removes bacteria and debris from the skin. This study aims to develop a facial wash gel formulation employing papaya leaf extract to treat and inhibit acne-causing bacteria. The formulation will involve the use of diffe

Abstract:
In a fast breeder reactor, a slow power ramp accident could lead to a local melting of the fuel depending on design and assumptions. If we assume cladding failure in addition to the fuel melting, possibility of fuel ejection from the pin and subsequent consequences of such fuel ejection become important for safety consideration. In order to answer this question, the RB1 and RB2 tests in the CABRI-RAFT program (from 1996 to 2002) were performed under the collaboration between the French ‘Institut de Radioprotection et de Suˆrete´ Nucle´aire’ (IRSN) and JNC.
