Abstract:

Diplomatic Writings外蕃通書 (also known as 外蕃書翰, which literally means “pappers and ink of diplomacy”) is a collection of diplomatic texts between Tokugawa Bakufu and the representatives of neibouring nations such as Korea, the Philippines, Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Those writings were exchanged from the seventeenth to the eighteenth century, during which the Edo period had reached its half and the Trinh and Nguyen families of Vietnam were fighting against each other. The writings were collected and edited by Kondo Juzo 近藤重蔵 (also known as Kondo Morishige 守重) (1771 - 1892), who was a scholar and vassal of Tokugawa Bakufu. Diplomatic Writings consists of 27 volumes, including a volume for the content list. Diplomatic writings with Vietnam were sorted in the section named “An Nam Nation Writings” 安南國書. The collection was composed from 1808 to 1819, presented in traditional Chinese, ancient Japanese, and Katakana. The “An Nam Nation Writings” section consists of writings from Bakufu Tokugawa to Lord Nguyen in the South of Vietnam and Lord Trinh in the North of Vietnam, and vice versa, discussing diplomacy, commerce, and protections for Japanese citizens commercing in Vietnam. This is one in the oldest writing collection about Vietnam-Japan relations. This article introduces and studies the section “An Nam Nation Writings” in Diplomatic Writings.

Abstract:

Red cayenne papper is a food ingredient that has a high demand at the level of household consumers. Demand for red cayenne is influenced by several factors. Factors demand for red cayenne papper were red cayenne papper prices, curly red chili prices, household consumer income, number of family members and consumer tastes. The research aimed to analyze the determinant factors of red cayenne papper demand and to analyze elasticity of demand of red cayenne pepper in Semarang Regency. The research location determined by purposive. Survey method was used with Quota sampling to select 90 respondents from 3 District in Semarang Regency with the criteria of highest, medium and low red cayenne pepper production. Respondents taken by snowball method. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. Regression analyzed showed that independent variabels simultaneosly significant on dependent variabel. Partially the income of consumers, the number of family members and consumer tastes significantly influence the demand for red cayenne pepper. While the price of red cayenne pepper and curly red chili did not significantly affect the demand for red cayenne pepper. Red cayenne pepper elasticity was elastic 0.135 and categorized as normal goods. The income elasticity was 0.317. Curly red chili was substitutes red cayenne pepper with elasticity 0.122.

Abstract:

Zusammenfassung Die übergeordneten Ziele des LIFE+-Traisen-Projektes liegen in der Schaffung von naturnahen Gewässer- und Auenbiozönosen und einer Erhöhung der Biodiversität im „Europaschutzgebiet Tullnerfelder Donauauen“. Erreicht werden sollen diese Ziele durch eine optimale Vernetzung des neu angelegten und ungesicherten Traisenflussbettes mit den großflächig abgesenkten Ufer- und Auenbereichen der Donauauen. Generell sind die Wachstumsbedingungen im Absenkungsbereich sehr gut und die Vegetationsentwicklung verläuft im gesamten Projektgebiet entsprechend rasch. In allen Bauabschnitten konnten sich auf über 50 % der Flächen jeweils in der ersten Vegetationsperiode bereits die Silber-Weide (Salix alba) und die Schwarz-Pappel (Populus nigra) über eine Naturverjüngung etablieren. Auf den restlichen Flächen haben sich Hochstauden, Röhrichtarten und ruderale Arten durchgesetzt. Vor allem das Rohrglanzgras (Phalaris arundinacea) hat sich massiv verbreitet. In den beiden Folgejahren hat sich die Gehölzanzahl verringert. Es konnten sich jedoch trotz Wildverbiss und der Lichtkonkurrenz mit den krautigen Arten die standorttypischen Gehölze etablieren und über eine erfolgreiche Naturverjüngung auch in den beiden Folgejahren noch zusätzliche Flächen einnehmen. Neophyten treten bislang nur vereinzelt auf. Am häufigsten ist noch die Goldrute (Solidago gigantea, S. canadensis) zu finden. In Summe zeichnet sich ab, dass die gesamte Umlandabsenkung bereits in den nächsten Jahren bis auf ca. Mittelwasserhöhe der „neuen“ Traisen von einer dichten Vegetationsdecke eingenommen werden wird. Pionierflächen werden, falls sich kein „Jahrhunderthochwasser“ ereignet, wieder fast vollständig verschwinden. Es ist absehbar, dass sich trotz Wildverbiss und der Lichtkonkurrenz die jungen Weiden und Pappeln zu einem locker geschlossenen Weichholzauwald entwickeln werden. Dieser wird mosaikartig mit Röhricht- und Hochstaudenfluren verzahnt sein. Letztere werden über viele Jahre mehr oder minder als solche stabil bleiben.

Abstract:

Augmented Reality (AR) used in online business not merely to give new perspective of customer experience to product. AR is also used in operational such as in logistic to deliver product to the customer. The online map service such as Google Map, sometime fails to bring real visualization to user, especially when they are in unfamiliar places. AR may provide visualization of certain location’s coordinate. This digital visual navigation will help the user to choose which direction they should go, especially when Google Maps do not give accurate information related to the user’s surrounding. This papper provide solution to create Android application that can generate Augmented Reality navigation while user is using Google Map to travel. This papper is aimed to support the navigation for logistic management system especially for online business companies. In spite of the result of this reasearch, some findings and issues need to be discussed in the future. There was delay to generate the AR objects especially when user moves the device around fast. A simple 2D AR object is suggested for future work in order to decrease the delay.

Until recently, cooking recipes were classified as ‘obvious’ text types that “exist in everyday life without any problems” (cf. Brinker 41997: 128, Gansel / Jürgens 22007: 54, Brinker / Cölfen / Pappert 82014: 133). Their multimodality and multimediality seem to call this matter of course into question. Considering that cooking recipes can be presented in various ways and forms in the media, the aim of this article is to discuss their possible classification as texts on a selected example. In line with the approach of Adamzik (2001), the examined material is analyzed and described from different perspectives.

Abstract:

This papper is about the use of biopolymer of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as a coat of different fertilizer granules (Azafoska 16:16:16 and Yara Kristalon 19:19:19) as a core material in presence of nitric acid. The biodegradable polymer layer provides uniform diffusion of minerals into the soil as the PVA shell decays. Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Energy – Dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX - 3600) were carried out for the characterization of bio-modified materials. The agrochemical changes of the soil in terms of macro-and microelements were also determined.

Abstract:

In this papper, based on the study of basic algorithm of fractal DLA model, the standard DLA model was modified by setting the parameters, and the PS-b-PAA block copolymer representating a kind of flower-like aggregation was taken as the research object. Through observating the growth characteristics of this kind of flower-like aggregations formed in different external conditions, their fractal characteristics were determined by box-counting method. Then the modified DLA model combined with the image processing technology was used to simulate this kind of flower-like aggregations. Finally, the simulated results were evaluated through visual observation and fractal dimension.

This book review examines The Idea of Israel: A History of Power and Knowledge by Ilan Pappe. As a “new historian” Pappe challenges traditional versions of Israeli history. He illustrates Israel’s creation as a colonial conquest rather than the prevailing national liberation movement. In particular, he examines the role that Zionism has played in shaping dominant political ideology in Israel. Pappe critically evaluates the evolution of Zionism narratives from classical, post-Zionism to neo-Zionism. He successfully illustrates the importance Zionism has played throughout the genesis of Israel by highlighting examples such as the 1947 UN partition resolution, the Holocaust, it’s role in furthering cultural tensions between Israelis and Arabs inhabitants, and presence in the media.

Information security is a matter of concern in any sector and industry, and the vulnerability is the important factor which caused this issue. Therefore it is necessary to analyze and predict the occurrence of vulnerability. This paper used the datas of CNNVD vulnerability database and Apriori algorithm to analyze and predict the occurrence of software vulnerability. In the data preprocessing stage by changing the level of vulnerability rule we can dig out more concept association. In the evaluation stage of association rules by designing filters we can find the rules in line with the degree of user interest. As informações coletadas possibilitam caracterizar as empresas contempladas com recursos do Pappe, assim como analisar a evolução das relações de cooperação, das atividades de inovação e de algumas variáveis de desempenho – geração de patentes, novos empregos, publicação de artigos e inserção em novos mercados. A partir desse estudo, busca-se avaliar a contribuição do Pappe no fomento à cooperação entre empresas e instituições de pesquisa e na geração de inovações.

Abstract:

Goal: This article presents an assessment of the impacts of the “Research in Companies Support Program (PAPPE): Economical Subvention to Innovation”, in the decentralized modality, i.e., projects contracted in the states of the Brazilian federation. Considering the high opportunity cost of the PAPPE program, it was deemed important to evaluate how the financed projects impacted the three dimensions (economic, social and environmental) of sustainable development. Methodology: Study was based on literature review on innovation grants; interviews with one Finep technician and technicians from Fapes, Fapesc and Sebrae-PR; and documental research and analysis of 53 projects carried out in the states of Espírito Santo, Paraná and Santa Catarina, from 2009-2013. Descriptive analysis was conducted for comparing performance of the three states. Results: Under the economic dimension, the PAPPE program enhanced the ability of funding recipients to compete on a national level. However, there was no evidence of impact on the social and environmental dimensions. Limitations of the investigation: This research is restricted to three Brazilian states, chosen due to the homogeneity of project types and the interest of the researchers, with a focus on the state of Espírito Santo. Practical implications: Although both social and environmental dimensions are not explicit in the scope of the PAPPE program, the assessment of these dimensions should be included in the design and evaluation of any policy sponsored by public funding, since they are critical to the country.

This papper investigated the appraisal system used in the verbal message advertisements visual beauty of each print media. Judgement as the appraisal which dominate the verbal message advertisement visual beauty of the print media. This study is qualitative and interpretative in which the data analyzed using analysys of appraisal framework to identify categoriez of calusses the establish verbal message advertisement visual beauty of print media. The result showed thet category of clauses that building message advertisement visual beauty of print media dominated by appraisal tool that dominates moral judgement with direct, positive character as a praise and negative character as criticism.

Abstract:

There are a few researches about motivation and job satisfaction, but we found some studies about teacher motivation and their satisfaction in their workplace. In Angola’s context, this topic emerges as a new field to research inside the school organization and management area, understanding this as body of knowledge and actions among people who converge on shared values and practices which are manifested through work. This papper deals with the study of teacher’s motivation and satisfaction for their professional performance in Benguela (Angola). Through it, we try to describe how the motivation and satisfaction can influence on the professional development of teachers who work in Secondary Education in Benguela. It is performed used a quantitative research methodology. The total sample was composed by 367 teachers. The results shows a high leveles of dissatisfaction and low motivation by teachers in Benguela’s research context.

Ele explora a aprendizagem de política pública das unidades da federação e de instituições regionais parceiras, bem como a transformação de seus arranjos institucionais e estruturas de governança. A pesquisa conclui que a rápida ascensão da política de inovação e as exigências estruturais e de processo que se impuseram ao Estado brasileiro, alteraram radicalmente o escopo, a forma e a função da política federal de apoio à pesquisa, contribuindo para a desconstrução da política centralizadora de CT&I.

A partir do enfoque de Sistemas Nacionais de Inovação, este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar o Programa de Apoio à Pesquisa em Empresas (Pappe). Por meio de pesquisa direta em 65 empresas beneficiadas pelos recursos do programa, são analisadas as características das empresas participantes, as relações de cooperação previamente estabelecidas à participação no Pappe, bem como as relações geradas após a participação com diferentes agentes de inovação, e os resultados obtidos com o projeto aprovado em termos de inovação. Como resultado principal, destaca-se que o programa tem se mostrado importante na criação de inovações de produto para o mercado nacional e processos para o setor de atuação, embora sua incidência seja mais relevante sobre um conjunto de empresas que já eram inovativas e cooperativas.

Abstract:

Attendance is one of the important factors that determine the students activity in any educational organizations. Taking attendance manually is considered as a huge task, even if, it was done using traditional methods such as barcode or smart card technologies leading to congestion and waste of time. The motivation of this papper is to simulate the wireless sensors network of a smart university (UOT) campus using OMNeT++ inorder to enhance the total power consumption of wireless nodes using several nodes scheduiling algorthim . The proposed system has been tested, and the results show that, the processing load of central server is decreased and the total transmission load over the wireless network also enhanced with value of 83%. Different experiments applied over distributed ZigBee wireless nodes in order to enhance network parameters .finally, the network parameters such as total power capacity and number of received packets had been improved using a linear queue node scheduling as proposed method.
