Abstract:
The main objective of the conducted research is to identify the parents’ perception of their role in the educational activity. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied, in Google Forms, which includes 4 questions, to a number of 75 parents. The main results obtained demonstrate the fact that parents are largely aware of their role in achieving the school performance of students, as well as the importance of maintaining permanent communication with the teaching staff. We believe that these aspects will influence, over time, the child’s school motivation and the way they perceives learning.

This study investigates Australian primary and secondary school students' swimming and water safety skills compared to National Benchmarks, utilizing teacher and parent perspectives. Two surveys were conducted: the first targeting physical education teachers and principals to assess students' skills, examine school swimming carnivals, and identify available swimming programs; the second targeting parents and caregivers.
