Abstract:
Parking lots can no longer be the inhospitable, pedestrian-minimalizing, environmentally-degrading uses of valuable open space that are accepted and tolerated as the â normâ . The open space that makes way for parking lots is too precious to be wasted on places that provide little or no comfort to the user while also contributing to the degradation of the environment. By inserting a fantastical landscape â one which engages the senses through color, texture, and smell â into the mind-dulling landscape of a large surface parking lot, the resulting comparison is a waking call about the missed opportunities of celebrating beauty and the environment. This gives value to the landscape in todayâ s mobile society where the natural world appears to be losing ground to the automobile. This thesis proposes a series of landscape structures over a vast surface parking lot â Potomac Yard Shopping Center in Alexandria, Virginia â that provide open space, the ecological benefits of absorbing storm water runoff and preventing UV bounce back, while ultimately repositioning and rejoining the pedestrian with the landscape. The project does not set out to eradicate parking. Rather, the project recognizes the need for parking in todayâ s mobile society but prioritizes the important connection that must exist between people and nature within that context.<br>Master of Landscape Architecture

Abstract:
In Lima, the number of cars and trucks has increased, despite this, there is no adequate infrastructure, which generates a parking deficit for the number of people who buy new cars (Gestión, 2018). A report by INEI (2018) states that parking spaces are scarce for the 20% increase in cars from 2014 to 2018. Despite this, parking spaces have not been increased in the same proportion due to the lower amount of free land to operate. Consequently, it has not been possible to cover the parking demand at present (Municipality of Lima, 2017). For this reason, Easy parking was created, an innovative parking system in the historic center of Lima that consists of solving the shortage of parking lots, a rotary and automatic parking system that uses the vertical space of the air to park and not horizontal space. With this technology, Easy Parking will be able to park 10 cars instead of 2 like the traditional parking lots of the competition, being an alternative solution to vehicular congestion and the lack of parking on site. In addition, to make business more efficient and innovative, a mobile application was created to reserve parking spaces available online. After analyzing the market and designing the technical specifications of the service, it is concluded that Easy Parking is a viable and profitable project due to its indicators that confirm its profitability and viability.<br>Trabajo de investigación

Abstract:
Parking a vehicle can often lead to frustration, air pollution and congestion due to limited availability of parking spaces. With increasing population density this problem can certainly increase unless addressed. Parking lots occupy large areas of scarce land resource therefore it is necessary to identify the driving behaviour in a parking lot to improve it further. This Paper tries study the driving behaviour in the parking lot and for this endeavours it conducted direct observation in three parking lots and used GPS data that was collected prior to this study by the University of Dalarna. To evaluate the driving behaviour in the parking lot direct observation was conducted to obtain overall indices of the parking lot vehicles movement. The parking route taken by the driver was compared with the optimal path to identify the driving behaviour in parking lot in terms of distance. The collected data was evaluated, filtered and analysed to identify the route, the distance and the time the vehicle takes to find a parking space. The outcome of the study shows that driving behaviour in the parking lots varies significantly among the parking user where most of the observed vehicles took unnecessary long time to complete their parking. The study shows that 56% of the 430 observed vehicles demonstrated inefficient driving behaviour as they took long driving path rather the than the optimal path. The study trace this behaviour to two factors, first, the absent of parking guidance in the parking lots and the second is the selectivity of the drivers when choosing the parking space. The study also shows that the ability of GPS data to identify the driving behaviour in the parking lots varies based on the time interval and the type of the device that is being used. The small the time interval the more accurate the GPS data in detecting the driving behaviour in the parking lots.

Abstract:
<p> As population and traffic increase, improvements in the paving industry including roadways, parking lots, and sidewalks are desired. Pavements have a key effect on the quantity and quality of rainwater runoff and reserved ground water. More so, regulations towards constructing and paving these new areas are becoming stricter especially in urban areas where available land is becoming limited. Permeable pavements are more common than ever, and are a solution to rainwater runoff, recharging ground water, and reducing the costs associated with treating storm water. </p><p> Permeable pavements are available alternative to conventional pavements and are becoming more applicable and more widespread. Unlike conventional pavements, permeable pavements have major obstacles to acceptance and use since there is limited research on these types of pavements, with only a handful of guidelines and properties for users to follow. </p><p> This research incorporates two technical concepts on two topic areas. The first topic can be used to assist decision makers, planners, and owners in selecting their pavement type for their intended use by analyzing and comparing the life-cycle cost for four pavement types. Two of these are conventional impermeable pavements: Hot-Mix Asphalt and Portland Cement Concrete and two are permeable pavements: Porous Asphalt and Pervious Concrete. This first topic area will also summarize tables of advantages and limitations for each pavement type. The second topic area of this paper will help initiate guidelines on how to design, mix, batch, place, cure, and test pervious concrete.</p>

Abstract:
The main campus of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) has a current parking inventory of approximately 14,310 parking spaces in 88 surface lots. Of the available parking spaces 92% are designated for the use of Virginia Tech students, faculty and staff members. The share of visitor usage of these parking spaces is approximately 2%. The objective of this thesis is to evaluate the current visitor parking system and develop techniques to enhance the parking facility operations. The current visitor parking demand is determined by conducting a field evaluation of the visitor parking in five parking lots. Personal and follow-up interviews were conducted with university visitors to determine their satisfaction levels with the existing parking facilities. While the survey results demonstrated that 52% of visitors rated the parking services to be good or very good, the study also showed that approximately 28% of the visitors did not know the location of the most convenient parking lot to access their destination and almost 6% were not satisfied with the parking services offered by Virginia Tech. Apart from this, about 32% of the visitors had to visit at least 2 parking lots before finding a parking space. These figures clearly demonstrate a need for a better management of the parking lots to serve the visitors in an efficient way. In an attempt to enhance the visitor parking system a web-based interactive framework is proposed. This framework identifies the best possible parking lot(s) for a selected destination considering various factors like - distance of the parking lot to the destination and typical occupancy of the parking lot at specific times of the day and other relevant factors. The web-based interactive system is designed to provide the visitor with two or more choices for the parking in order to arrive at their desired destination.<br>Master of Science

Abstract:
As a result of increasing density in the built environment around our cities, there is an ever growing amount of effective impervious area (EIA) which in turn results in greater amounts of runoff due to rain events. While minimizing hard surfaces is a method to minimize EIA, it is not always practical. A common method to better manage stormwater has been the installation of permeable pavement in parking lots. This study investigated the efficacy of permeable pavements in a comparative study against asphalt, at a point 10 years after construction, with the goal of demonstrating the continued benefits to water quality and minimized runoff from the permeable pavement site. The field study, conducted in Burnaby, BC between two parking lots, yielded promising results which demonstrated that with routine maintenance, a permeable pavement system is able to continue minimizing downstream runoff for most types of rain storm events and is able to continue minimizing contaminant effluent concentrations of certain contaminants when compared to an asphalt site.<br>Applied Science, Faculty of<br>Civil Engineering, Department of<br>Graduate

Abstract:
Traffic congestion is a severe problem in urban areas and it leads to the emission of greenhouse gases and air pollution. In general, drivers lack knowledge of the location and availability of free parking spaces in urban cities. This leads to people driving around searching for parking places, and about one-third of traffic congestion in cities is due to drivers searching for an available parking lot. In recent years, various solutions to provide parking information ahead have been proposed. The vast majority of these solutions have been applied in large cities, such as Beijing and San Francisco. This thesis has been conducted in collaboration with Knowit and Dukaten to predict parking occupancy in car parks one hour ahead in the relatively small city of Linköping. To make the predictions, this study has investigated the possibility to use long short-term memory and gradient boosting regression trees, trained on historical parking data. To enhance decision making, the predictive uncertainty was estimated using the novel approach Monte Carlo dropout for the former, and quantile regression for the latter. This study reveals that both of the models can predict parking occupancy ahead of time and they are found to excel in different contexts. The inclusion of exogenous features can improve prediction quality. More specifically, we found that incorporating hour of the day improved the models’ performances, while weather features did not contribute much. As for uncertainty, the employed method Monte Carlo dropout was shown to be sensitive to parameter tuning to obtain good uncertainty estimates.

碩士<br>國立中正大學<br>雲端計算與物聯網數位學習碩士在職專班<br>106<br>Nowadays, almost every home has a car. As a consequence, in urban areas, due to huge demand of parking, parking spaces are hard to find. In particular, people used to drive cars for leisure activities during holidays, it becomes even harder to find a parking space. In order to make effective use of the urban space, parking lots are built above ground or underground. However, even with the increased number of parking spaces, drivers are still facing dilemma of finding where to park her car or was her car parked because that it is easy to loose direction or forget the floor number of the parking space. At present, various parking guidance systems have been deployed in Taiwan, but most of them still cannot effectively guide drivers to the right parking space. In this thesis, we propose a novel intelligent parking lot navigation system to guide the driver to park to the right space as well as find where she has parked her car. The system deploys ultrasound sensors on driving lanes as well as each parking space. Data from these ultrasound sensors are transmitted to the application server. With the collected sensing data, the application on the driver’s smart phone will use Bluetooth positioning technology to guide the driver to the designed parking space or the space where she has parked her car. Compared with other systems, the system can guide the driver to find a parking space more quickly in the case of congestion in a parking garage. Taiwan has built different types of car parking guidance system now, but most of parking lot is still not achieved that guiding the driver to the free parking space for parking. This study presents a vehicle detection method for getting car location very soon and uses the electronic guidance board to achieve guided target. First, these cameras are setting in every ceiling of parking lot and these cameras capture the continuing image. The car location is calculated from these images by image process technology. The car location will sent to the control center by internet. The control center collects these car locations and calculates the map location of the control center system. The control center will assign a free parking space. The free parking space is near the car. The control center will control the guidance electronic board and guide the car to this free parking space. The control center will calculate the number of free parking space and display on the electronic board as a reference for driver.

Abstract:
碩士<br>逢甲大學<br>電機工程學系<br>105<br>Rapid development of the economy and population explosion result in traffic congestion. The air quality is worse than before, which is caused by the emission from the majority of vehicles stopping on the road inevitably. Thus, in order to solve environmental pollution and reduce the cost that people made on the road, such as money and time, the Intelligent Transport System was proposed. The Intelligent Transport System contains nine subsystems, and Intelligent Traffic is a part of it. Intelligent Traffic is composed of data collection system, transmission system and path algorithm. However, if people could get information about destination in advance, they could avoid drive toward congested road. Therefore, this paper chooses Intelligent Parking Lot as the goal of the Intelligent traffic. Intelligent Traffic which providing a important decision reference to decide path for people, is a part of Intelligent Transport System. But there are no system to fully manage informations about parking lots in Taiwan. Besides, the equipments of parking lot cost too much, and the characteristics of parking place sensor are mostly fixed-based, in other words, poor portability. In trend of the era of information explosion, because there are no contaction among parking lot, cloud server and business district, leading to informations are not immediately, and parking cost opaque. Based on above description, this paper proposed three designing characteristics about the parking lot: 1. Design cloud server to manage the parking lot and the business district and that provides people reserve parking place, inquire about information, and discount parking cost. 2. The parking equipment, with higher portability, results in quickly installation and dismount, and higher beneficial usage of land. 3. System calculate optimal path to help people avoid drive toward congested road, based on Taichung Dynamic Road Open Data.

This task needs strict project delivery procedure, objective and professional pre-work, but most cases in Taiwan, financial feasibility is private investor’s greatest doubt because of lacking related analysis precisely. That is why there are very few parking lots invested and built by non-government sector. After integrating the ways and processes of private participation in public construction, this study will review the executive deficiency and propose improvement strategy from Taipei’s experience in promotion of parking lot built by private sector. In addition, a currently running parking lot will be involved in case study to illustrate the financial feasibility of BOT. From the result of analysis, it is infeasible through BOT to construct parking lot. It must increase the rate and take some useful measures to make BOT feasible. If it is impossible to raise the parking fee, in order to get the problem resolved, the parking lot should be constructed by government and operated by private sector.

碩士<br>國立勤益科技大學<br>流通管理系<br>102<br>With the advancement of traffic control technology and the popularity of vehicles, the parking spaces cannot meet the requirement for vehicles. Not only users often spent much time to find a parking place, but also had users a difficult time to find their cars while entering and leaving the huge parking building. Terefore, it is necessary to build and develop an advanced parking assistance system to help car users find the location of their cars in the parking lot. Nowadays, there are many mobile applications and new technology to help parking car users find their cars in a parking garage. Among the techniques, the most generally operateing technique was Wi-fi, barcode or RFID tag scaning, but the contractor could not afford the huge budget to establish the parking navigation system, and the software was not easy to operate with very low rates of success. Consequently, the scanning technique failed because of insufficient budget for the parking garage administrators. In contrast, this study used Near Field Communication (NFC) technique and based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and an in-depth interview to analyze demand analysis of parking car users and to evaluate this NFC parking system for improving defects in a parking garage. Through the NFC technique to establish a parking garage assist system, the App developed in this study can record the locations and entering time of the car in a parking garage and can assist car users to find the location of their vehicles. Users can easily and quickly execute the parking garage assistantce system by the mobile device with NFC capability or the NFC Tag magnetic induction. Users and contractor are exempted from the huge budget of establish and the complicated operate procedure to achieve saving users' time and increasing security of parking garage. So further increasng the willingness of NFC parking users were expected.

Especially, to capture images at night, we design a capture mode that takes images under different exposure settings and fuses these multi-exposure images into a clearer image. Besides, we combine a proposed Bayesian hierarchical framework (BHF) with the 3D-scene information by treating the whole parking lot as a structure consisting of plentiful surfaces. With the proposed framework, we extract feature vectors from each surface based on a modified version of the Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG) approach. By incorporating these feature vectors into specially designed probabilistic models, we can estimate the current parking status by finding the optimal statistical hypothesis among all possible status hypotheses. Experiments over real parking lot scenes have shown that our system can reliably detect vacant parking spaces day and night on an outdoor parking lot.

Abstract:
碩士<br>國立中央大學<br>環境工程研究所<br>93<br>The United Parking System (UPs) was developed for drivers to quickly and effectively pick up their cars in the parking lot. By using wireless communication technology, network transmission technology and database technology, we designed a sophisticate wireless networks as well as windows-based navigating terminals (WNT) to help drivers finding their cars in the shortest route without memorizing their original parking locations. The main functions of this system are to login driver’s parking area accurately; to offer the shortest path while pick up the car; and to provide the geographic information of the parking lot. In this research, the UPs was built and installed at the underground parking lot of Taoyuan Prefecture Government for a three months long field test. The parking lot has three decks. The third deck was divided into 12 areas each equipped with an Area Data Sender (ADS) for drivers to log their original parking positions. Meanwhile, on each of three main entrances of the lot, a WNT was installed near the Auto-Pay Station (APS). With this design, the driver could see a map that indicated the shortest route from his/her current position (the APS) to his/her own car on the WNT screen when he/she returned to pay fees. An on-site questionnaire was given to the driver who just used this service. At the end of the study, 211 copies of questionnaire were received, and the results showed that over 80% users consider that the UPs did help them to reconstruct the concept of space in parking lot, to avoid wasting time in finding their car, and to enhance the sense of safety while walking in unfamiliar confined spaces. The results demonstrated that the UPs is capable to be a great tool for picking up cars in parking lot.

博士<br>長庚大學<br>企業管理研究所博士班<br>101<br>A shopping mall usually owns and operates both a shopping retail area and a parking lot. Decision-making on parking lot pricing has long been an important issue in shopping mall operations. This study analyzes the decision problems inherent to parking lot pricing and shopping market free parking threshold defining by leveraging the criteria and achieving conflicting goals. To support this decision, formal analysis is used to analyze the decision problem. A decision flow is suggested and a series of mathematical programming models is proposed which makes the decision problem mathematically manageable. The capability of the model and some managerial implications are also demonstrated, through its application to a real case in Taiwan. Making a proper pricing decision for a parking lot not only attracts more visitors, but also benefits the company. To this extent, this study not only assists decision-makers in this confounding process, but also contributes to the field of the application of mathematical programming. The generalization of the proposed model for pricing problems in any type of market similar to a shopping mall that has a parking lot is therefore possible.

Therefore, an important goal is how to perform scheduling for charging of EVs and then decrease the loading of transformer. This paper proposed a two-stage optimization strategy to perform scheduling for each EVs with the designed target of single parking lot. The first stage, without exceed the rated capacity, is designed to satisfy the charged demand for each EVs. Since the results of first stage are regarded as constraints, the charged cost of parking lot will be decreased by second stage optimization. The experiment results show that the proposed method can reduce effectively the loading of transformer. Moreover, when EVs frequented the parking lot, the proposed method can decrease the charged cost of parking lot as well as satisfy the charged demand for each EVs.

碩士<br>中華大學<br>營建管理研究所<br>95<br>Since the economic has been growth rapidly, car becomes the living essentials currently in Taiwan. According to the statistical data from Construction and Planning Agency, Ministry of Interior, there is only one parking space for each three cars in Taiwan. The car quantity is far away from the available parking spaces and the growing speed of vehicle is faster than the growing speed of parking space. In the coming years if there is no good strategy, parking problem could be more and more serious. Therefore, how to settle parking problem is an urgent topic in Taiwan. Traditional parking lot requests drivers to take ticket to record entry time. Drivers need to search parking space and remember the location so they can pick the car easily to leave the parking lot. This kind of parking style may waste the fuel and time of drivers. The administrators can only keep track the entry time of vehicle, there is no message about the license plate and vehicle type. Under this circumstance, if the management area is too big, it is easy to cause the problem of insufficient of security. In order to solve above problem, this study propose graphical visual guide combined with license plate identification system and automatic ticket technique to develop Parking Lot Management System. An entrance inductance coil is used in this system to control the pass flow. Through driving light guide indication and automatic ticket techniques can speed up entry process, reduce human charging problem and promote administration efficiency. The license plate identification system can record license image data to prevent criminal activities. The related data about over-night vehicles can be automatically integrated to charging system of next day to achieve parking automation and highest parking efficiency.

In traditional parking lot, drivers know the count of the empty parking spaces, but have no idea where the available parking space is. Consequently, we hope to get vehicle’s position in image processing way, further provide guiding information to drivers then guide vehicles to their chosen parking space. The main functions of the system are multiple-object tracking and guidance. In the tracking work, we predict the object’s position by image’s continuity, detect the occurrence of bump condition as well as develop wide area monitoring with the aid of multiple-camera cooperation mechanism. In guiding work, we are able to obtain the guide direction by searching guiding data in database according to vehicle’s position, moving direction and destination.

The co-op students had occupied most of parking spaces when they return for pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in science, engineering, and management. The issue of parking had gradually become a major obstacle which the administrative must resolve. An underground parking lot of National University of Technology was selected as our target of research. As soon as the RFID technology is integrated into the parking control system, operating processes as well as proper management practices need to be regulated, and then the whole system can be smoothly operated. The Delphi method is adopted as well as Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) in this study. A number of interviews with experts developed under Delphi method are conducted to find the major affairs for operating a parking lot. The questionnaire survey is designated for parking lot users, the result developed by AHP which reveals the key factors for an appropriate parking management system. After a long term operation, the information system of RFID enabled parking lot will generate a real empirical database for further analysis, and this result will help in building the management model that can enhance the overall efficiency of parking lot.

In this paper, we present an approach to fuse measurements from an inertial measurement unit (IMU) and a camera for self-localization in GPS-denied multi-storey parking lot. The contributions of our work are fourfold. First, the introduced fuse architecture, instead of fusing the IMU information and the vision directly, we incorporate the IMU information and the vision in different ways when systems encounter different condition. Second, we choose cars as the vehicles, instead of robots, which are controllable in orientation and velocity, this condition make this system more practical. Third, the system in this work has been testing in actual parking structure, the test data obtained from different brand of cars during daytime and nighttime. Fourth, the vision system used in this work uses a slow-frame-rate monocular camera, the proposed system can significantly reduce the demand for hardware. The experiments shows that the vision-aided inertial localization system significantly reduce the error of inertial localization system, and the accuracy of the vision-aided inertial localization system is sufficient to achieve self-positioning of vehicles in the parking lot for the purpose of looking for parking spaces.

Fewer studies are done on ways to make a parking lot function more intelligently. The present research aims to design an intelligent parking lot management which addresses important aspects such as traffic flow, vehicle screening, car park guidance, congestion control and car park inquiries and search. This study will use the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) as the methodology to study a parking system managed by eTag, and will identify weighted factors in terms of safety and security, traffic flow, user-friendliness, and technology. The conclusions are as follows the four main aspects of an intelligent parking lot management system; the most heavily weighted factor is having a good traffic flow design (31%). The result reflects and reaffirms modern people’s needs and preference for speed and efficiency. A faster car park guidance system will save time and reduce toxic emission. The system should provide clear indication of traffic direction and detailed information such as available spaces in each area so that traffic flow can be controlled intelligently. A smart system should also allow users to find the nearest exit quickly through traffic signs. Assistance in finding cars is another important factor. An intelligent system will deploy internet search to help drivers who forget where they have parked their cars.

Of course, it is a given fact that the daily traffic flow is in a crowded situation. The empirical result is that the parking space demand of residential buildings has become the basic demand of the residents of residential buildings in the metropolitan area. A high-rise building with an elevator, which is a residential building in the form of a mainstream building trend. Therefore, when consumers purchase a residential elevator building, the option to purchase a parking space will increase the convenience of the transportation environment and the effect of the price premium of the real estate when the real estate is bought or sold. Based on the characteristic price theory, this study will construct the real estate price of high unit price, medium unit price and low unit price when purchasing real estate, and the model and evidence of price premium for real estate with parking space. For the real estate with the purchase of parking spaces, the price premium model and evidence. And by observing in the metropolitan area, add a parking space, two parking spaces, three parking spaces, and so on. This paper, evaluating sustainability of the construction of parking lots, explores the sustainable impact of constructing parking lots. For evaluating sustainability of the parking lots construction, this paper using literature review approaches, is based on international indicators for exploring infrastructure and parking lots, and uses the rough set theory (RST) to obtain the sustainable indicators. Finally, we establish the sustainable assessment framework for parking lots by creating five principles. For the way of measuring indicators, we collect data and send the expert questionnaires to obtain indicators information. The survey index weight is determined by a group of professional decision makers. Indicators of utility performance use D-S Theory (DST) to make the measurement information presented in DST questionnaire obtain the performance of indicators utility. Abstract:
碩士<br>國立虎尾科技大學<br>光電工程系光電與材料科技碩士班<br>107<br>This paper aimed to develop a new parking space allocation system for the paid parking lot. Since the transportation network around the globe is rapidly developing, the number of vehicle ownership is on the rise in each country and there is great limitation in the finite parking space available, many parking lot systems are emerging, despites their flaws. Therefore, the parking space sensor with multiple infrared sensors was developed with a low-cost model and simulated the actual parking condition, even though the detection method was not limited to the sensors described in this paper, as these sensors could be replaced with other compatible devices. This system used Holtek HT66F70A micro-controller with multiple sensors. The system would initially assign the space with the first sequential order and upload such information to the MQTT cloud-based server Wi-Fi module. Meanwhile, the green light lit up in front of the parking space of the first sequential order as an indicator for the vehicle owner. When a vehicle arrives at the entrance of a parking lot, the driver can obtain parking space information from the APP as the information is downloaded from the MQTT server, where such information is also converted into QR code to be displayed at the display window. Once the code is displayed, the APP is used to scan the code, which will further display the location of the empty space, while the entry time and the information of selected space will be recorded. The information on the empty space is provided to the user to view at any time to save the user from searching the space. When the vehicle is parked in the designated space, the information is updated and the parking space of the second sequential order is uploaded. When the parking lot is full, any vehicle leaving its parking space will immediately assign it to the next vehicle entering the parking lot to maximize the utilization rate of each parking space and the profit.

Abstract:
碩士<br>中臺科技大學<br>環境與安全衛生工程系碩士班<br>107<br>Nowadays in Taiwan there are lots of job opportunity focus on big city, therefore the architectural type is going to high or even super high buildings to solve the rising residential demand. In the meanwhile, it’s inevitable trendy of planning and design the basement to parking lot to solve the parking issue of high or even high buildings. The parking lot is a confined space, if the emission from vehicle can’t be exhausted efficiently, the air quality in parking lot will be bad. Currently in Taiwan, the regulations and researches for air quality in parking lot in high or super high buildings are still lacking. This study case is chosen from a new building in Taichung city to research parking lot ventilation by FDS which can simulate the emission of CO, CO2 and temperature from vehicle to estimate the air quality pattern in underground parking lot. Therefore it could understand which kind of ventilation design in underground parking lot is related to emission concentration from vehicle. According to different ventilation design pattern, air flow, emission concentration and temperature, this study simulate the situation of the maximum vehicle engine on at same time in the underground parking lot by FDS to approach the authenticity. Meanwhile it can also review the regulations for underground parking lot is suitable. In the simulation result of different ventilation design, the best way to control emission concentration and emission temperature is mechanical air intake plus mechanical exhaust. The second way to control it is natural air inlet plus mechanical exhaust without split-type air, but this way will cause the whole flow field split in half; the emission concentration and temperature in exhaust is extremely high. If it is natural air plus mechanical exhaust with split-type air, the emission concentration and temperature will spread to whole underground parking lot and the environment is worsen. At last the worst environment is without any ventilation design in underground parking lot. In the future according to the back-parking habit to design the ventilation of underground parking lot in high or super high buildings, it should design Induced Flow Jet Fan above each parking space to increase the air flow of emission. Nowadays the parking lot ventilation equipment is always launch on by time meter, so there is not any ventilation system on during the time meter which is off. The suggestion of this study is to set up air quality monitoring system which is 24 hours automatically start to achieve good air quality in underground parking lot.

碩士<br>國立臺北科技大學<br>電機工程系碩士班<br>91<br>Currently, the electric charge rate for high-voltage and extra high-voltage consumers of Taiwan Power Company is composed of demand charge、energy charge、power factor charge and penalty charge. In order to save electrical fee spending, energy charge can be well controlled by using high-efficiency electrical equipments and implementing electrical load management policies. In addition, power factor also can be efficiently maintained unity by equipping automatic power factor regulator(APFR).However, demand charge and penalty charge are according to the average 15 minutes maximum load demand, so called contract capacity, that the consumer contracts with Taiwan Power Company. Therefore, how to make an optimal contract capacity is the common problem for the consumer to face. Generally, the consumer uses the value, which is calculated by the professional electrical engineer, as the contract capacity with Taiwan Power Company at their first time to apply for electricity. After the system is really running for one year, most consumers will go back to examine the contract capacity is proper or not. This thesis is based on the really maximum load demands and different kinds of load capacities of opened public underground parking lots in Taipei city. These different data are applied to the back-propagation neural network as the training、learning and estimation data. The research results show that this approach can be applied to the estimation of the contract capacity for new underground parking lot and effectively save demand charge in the first year. The electrical engineer designers can apply this approach to examine whether the contract capacity of underground parking lot calculated by themselves is proper or not.

When the card holder takes it and enters into the parking space, the system will record the relevant information, including the memory of the brand, producer, color, and the number of passengers. At the same time, it can also record the fundamental code “Contactless Smart Card”in the data base. In addition, when the holder wants to leave away, the system will check the information of entrance whether it is true or not. If there is something wrong in checking the relevant information, the system will refuse to make it pass through and inform the security guard or police instantly. Moreover, the information which the system builds can combine the police management system. This combination can result in the effect of cross-analyses, and can functionalize as the prevention in advance and the investigation of hindsight. As the combining of tickets “Only One Card, Many Mixed Functions” and increasing range of easycard usage, it empowers the effect and benefit. Besides, it can put“Contactless Smart Card” and “Intelligent Video Surveillance System” together. At last but not least, it will become the important tool of investigation except the communication record.

For example, Some issers related to the nuclear and electricity, etc, is it an important to effectively use energy. Electric cars are the best representatives of environmental protection and the effective of energy. In this paper, we use the latest V2G(vehicle-to-grid) technology. So that the energy can contribute to the grid , and the solution will satisfy the power companies, car industry, and users .We use fuzzy inference system (Fuzzy Inference System) to calculate weighting factors and linear programming (linear programming) to find the optimal solution, It is different with other papers. In this paper, we design fuzzy theory to solve the problem of electric vehicle charging and discharging in a real-time systems, and we can reasonably explain that electric vehicles charging priorities or discharging priorities, and the solution satisfy the power companies, car industry, and the users.

Strong demand of parking space in building, excavation of the basement is a common method. However, a lot of problems occur accompanying with parking lot such as the ownership or propertiy right of parking space, management of parking lot and the suitability of parking operation. This study was aimed to evaluate the key factors afftecting the use of parking lot. Questionnaire survey was conducted and AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) was applied to obtain the key factors. Results indicate the first three important factors affecting the successful arrangement of parking are (1) the selection of the nost new edition of government regulations or design guide, (2) standards of parking space requirement and (3) suitable application of building code.

Abstract:
碩士<br>國立中興大學<br>電機工程學系所<br>101<br>Contactless bidirectional charge and discharge technologies are promising technologies to be used in the vehicles which could be used to extend the usage of energy stored in the vehicle battery. As daily life of the vehicle battery is charged by the combustion engine, battery energy is mostly stayed in the saturated status. Since most energy requirement is provided by the alternator, energy stored in the battery is not fully used which causes a waste of energy. The purpose of this thesis is to develop a contactless charging and discharging system for the vehicle which is able to send the excessive battery energy to the energy storage system in the complex apartment parking lot and is able to be rechanged from the energy storage system. The idea "Many a little makes a mickle" to accumulate all vehicles’ excessive battery energy to boost the use of battery energy. To verify applicability of this energy conversion system, the simulation study has been conducted using the Protel Altium Designer 10 Software, which is used to select the components and determine related parameter values. Hardware implementation is also presented. Keywords: contactless bidirectional charging and discharging device, magnetic energy conversion, the resonant circuit
