Abstract:
Tácticas de ciberpolítica para incrementar el posicionamiento del partido político PDC (Partido Demócrata Cristiano) en la ciudad de Potosí, es la primera en el área de marketing político, dentro de la Universidad Privada Domingo Savio, tiene como estructura tres partes, en estas se analizan las bases teóricas y se establecen los métodos a utilizarse, por otro lado se tiene el diagnostico, determinado principalmente por las herramientas de investigación Encuesta, Entrevista y Observación. Por último, se tiene la propuesta realizada para poder subsanar el problema que se evidenció que es el bajo nivel de posicionamiento, para esta propuesta se tomó en cuenta un elemento nuevo en el marketing político que es la ciberpolítica. Es así que la finalidad del estudio, es resolver el problema acerca del bajo nivel de posicionamiento mediante las tácticas de ciberpolítica, teniendo en cuenta que en la actualidad todo lo referido al entorno del internet tiene mucho más relevancia y eficacia.

Abstract:
Este trabajo explora las interacciones entre la población de una comuna chilena y dos autoridades locales del Partido Demócrata Cristiano: un exalcalde y un concejal en actual ejercicio. Específicamente, a través de un análisis diacrónico, entrevistas en profundidad y etnografía política, se da cuenta de cómo se anclan concepciones y prácticas relacionadas con el trabajo político en personeros de este partido y cómo ello interactúa con la población local y sus nociones sobre política, lealtad y buen ejercicio de un cargo público. Los temas analizados invitan a repensar el clientelismo en clave de vida cotidiana y construcción del Estado a nivel local.

Abstract:
El artículo focaliza el análisis en el desempeño del diputado democristiano Augusto Conte durante los primeros años de la reconstrucción democrática en Argentina. Desde una perspectiva microanalítica a escala individual, es posible echar luz sobre el complejo entramado de actores político-sociales de comienzos de los años ochenta en torno a dos problemas centrales de esa particular coyuntura: la revisión del pasado dictatorial y el enjuiciamiento de los responsables de las violaciones a los derechos humanos. El seguimiento de esa trayectoria permite elucidar los alcances y limitaciones con las que se enfrentó este diputado en tanto representante del movimiento de derechos humanos en el Parlamento frente a las estrategias del gobierno, las demandas y tensiones que atravesaron los organismos de derechos humanos y los conflictos que se plantearon en el Partido Demócrata Cristiano en cuyo nombre asumió el cargo.

El objetivo que perseguimos en este trabajo es analizar las posiciones que asumieron diferentes actores católicos frente al debate sobre el divorcio vincular en la Argentina de la década de 1980. El análisis hace foco en la prensa católica, específicamente en las revistas Esquiú, Cabildo y Criterio, y en el Partido Demócrata Cristiano. Se considera que la falta de registro de las diferentes miradas que convivieron en el catolicismo se debe a la escasez de investigaciones sobre el tema, pero, fundamentalmente, a factores y representaciones propios del contexto en el que se debatió el divorcio. Influyen, en este sentido, discursos que plantearon la cuestión del divorcio como una disputa irreductible entre laicistas y católicos alimentando un sentido común extendido y el celo puesto por la jerarquía eclesiástica para obturar la emergencia de voces alternativas que cuestionaron la campaña antidivorcista desplegada por los obispos

En 1955, un golpe de Estado liderado por las Fuerzas Armadas en Argentina provocó la caída del presidente Juan Domingo Perón poniendo fin a casi una década de gobierno. La Iglesia Católica, si bien había manifestado su apoyo inicial al peronismo, desde hacía tiempo se había constituido en una aliada clave para la oposición. Su participación no solo se limitó al golpe de Estado, sino que continuó durante la dictadura surgida en consecuencia, proceso autodenominado Revolución Libertadora. En este artículo nos proponemos estudiar algunos aspectos de la relación entre la Iglesia y la política durante ese período desde un ámbito acotado como lo es la provincia de Corrientes, situada en el nordeste de Argentina, con rasgos políticos y sociales tradicionales y con una fuerte religiosidad. Nos centramos para ello en el análisis de la organización del Partido Demócrata Cristiano, su ideario y actuación política en los primeros años de formación.

Abstract:
Important changes occurred in El Salvador between the parley of government and guerrilla representatives at La Palma (15 October 1984) and the exchange of kidnapped government officials for imprisoned and wounded guerrillas (24 October 1985). During that year Salvadoran politics entered into the endgame of a political transition that may yet culminate in a democratic consolidation. Reaching the endgame stage of the transition hinged on the outcome of the March 1985 election, which gave the Christian Democratic administration of José Napoleón Duarte a clear majority in the Legislative Assembly and control of most municipal governments. The election completed the process of investing formal-legal power in a government committed to democratization. Equally important, it strengthened the credibility and legitimacy of that government, both domestically and abroad. However, that third consecutive electoral victory by the Christian Democrats did not, of itself, guarantee the consolidation of a democratic regime. The election simply created a more favorable climate in which the Partido Demócrata Cristiano (PDC) and others could do so, but formidable political obstacles still remain.

Abstract:
How are Centre parties distinct from Left and Right parties in term of their policy preferences? The scholarship on political parties either ignores Centre parties or treats them as a residual category. In this study, I attempt to rescue Centre parties from obscurity by looking at a quintessential Centre party: the Chilean Christian Democratic Party (PDC). Between 1990--2000, the PDC led two centre-left Concertacion coalition governments under Patricio Aylwin (1990--1994) and Eduardo Frei (1994--2000). It was the PDC's responsibility to negotiate the 'Chilean paradox': a country that had achieved economic success with neoliberalism and become a "model" for Latin America but where the "social debt" increased exponentially during 17 years of military rule under Augusto Pinochet (1973--1990). Health was one of the main concerns for Chileans through the decade but there was little headway made in the policy arena. My study seeks to explain why this was so.
I make a distinction between (1) the "defensive" Centre which aspires to be neither left nor right; and (2) the "encompassing" Centre parties that are both left and right. Christian Democratic parties are "encompassing" Centre parties par excellence since they incorporate elements of both left and right ideologies in a manner consistent with their social Catholic beliefs. They are known to combine a conservative position on social and moral issues with a pro-poor orientation on welfare issues. The main policy dilemmas of the PDC emerged from its status as an "encompassing" Centre Party as it sought to reconcile left and right. During the 1990s, the PDC shifted allegiance from state-led development policies to neoliberalism. As a result, the scope of the party's commitment to welfare issues was defined within the range of options available within the neoliberal model. However, while neoliberals dominated key policy positions, statists retained influence in the Congress and within the party organization. The uneven nature of adaptation to neoliberalism became one of the main obstacles in reaching a consensus for reform. My study also gives due emphasis to the constraints introduced by the country's institutional framework, notably the 1980 Constitution inherited from the military regime.

Cette thèse analyse les interdépendances historiques et institutionnelles du Parti Démocrate Chrétien (PDC) et le mouvement Action Catholique (1931 à 1971) au Chili. La thèse explore l'hypothèse selon laquelle pendant cette période l'Eglise chilienne (à travers l'AC) et le PDC s'engagent dans la mise en oeuvre d'un projet de formation des élites issues du peuple par le biais d'une politique éducative commune. Combinant une approche historico-institutionnelle, ainsi comme lm'analyse des trajectoires militantes dans une localité rurale du Chili, cette thèse tente d'expliquer le rôle de cette politique éducative dans l'implantation sociale et territoriale du parti dans le milieu rural. Cette politique éducative s'est consolidée dans les programmes d'éducation de masses du gouvernement de Frei Montalva (PDC, 1964-1970). Ces programmes ont été basés sur deux axes principaux - le développement associatif (la "promotion populaire") et l'éducation de masse, agissant comme une fabrique de militants. Elle a contribué d'une part à l'homogénéisation partisane du PDC par la mise en conformité des dirigeants paysans autour de valeurs de conciliation face au conflit agraire, et d'autre part à la différentiation de ces militants proposant des voies de professionnalisation diversifiées, et en encourageant de multiples trajectoires de mobilité sociale au niveau local. Toutes ces instances socialisatrices vont entrainer des formes de politisation variées chez les membres de l'AC (engagement au PDC ou aux mouvements de la gauche Chrétienne révolutionnaire) tout en renouvelant les élites dirigeantes du PDC au niveau local
This thesis analyzes the historical and institutional linkages between the Christian Democratic Party (PDC) and the Catholic Action Movement (CAM) between 1931 and 1971 in Chile. During this period, through the CAM the Chilean Catholic Chruch and the PDC became involved in the implementation of a trining project that aimed to form elites from the popular milieu. Based on an historic and institutional approach as well as the analysis of trajectories of social activists in a rual community of Chile, it seeks to explain the role of this educational policy in the social and territorial implantation of this party in rural areas. This educational policy was consolidated in the mass education programs to the government of Frei Montalva (PDC 1964-1970). These programs were based on two main pillars: development of different organizations involved in "Popular promotion", and mass-education that togrther produced the activists. They both contributed to the homogenization of the PDC by forming peasant leaders around values of conciliation as against notions of agrarian conflict, but also to the professional and social differenciation of activists by engaging diverse trends of professionalization and promoting multiple trajectories of social mobility at the local level. All these socialization instances have rezulted in diverse forms of politicization among the members of the AC (engagement in the PDC and in the movement of the revolutionary left Christian) while renewing the local elites of the PDC
