El objetivo principal de esta contribución es exponer parte de las láminas delgadas de rocas de la colección de la Fundación Miguel Lillo (FML) que representan los principales cuerpos plutónicos de las regiones montañosas de nuestra provincia, Sierra de Aconquija, Cumbres Calchaquíes y Sierra de Quilmes. En las siguientes publicaciones se ampliarán las zonas de estudio a modo de contribuir con el conocimiento geológico de nuestra región, poniendo a disposición de investigadores este material de gran valor científico.
