Variability, heritability and genetic advance were estimated for sixteen characters in twenty blackgram (Urd) types. phenotypic and genotypic coefficient of variation for dry leaf weight was high followed by seed yield and leaf area. Genetic advance was high for seed yield followed by dry leaf weight. Seed yield per plant showed significant positive correlation with all the characters except number of primary branches, specific leaf weight and protein per cent. path coefficient analysis revealed plant height and primary leaf area had higher positive direct effect on seed yield and 100 seed wei

Determining whether a distribution is bimodal is of great interest for many applications. Several tests have been developed, but the only ones that can be run extremely fast, in constant time on any variable-size signal window, are based on Sarle’s bimodality coefficient. We propose in this paper a generalization of this coefficient, to prove its validity, and show how each coefficient can be computed in a fast manner, in constant time, for random regions pertaining to a large dataset. We present some of the caveats of these coefficients and potential ways to circumvent them. We also propose a

A graph G is a (t, r)-regular graph if every collection of t independent vertices is collectively adjacent to exactly r vertices. If a graph G is (2, r)-regular where p, s, and m are positive integers, and m ≥ 2, then when n is sufficiently large, then G is isomorphic to G = Ks+mKp, where 2(p-1)+s = r. A nested (2,r)-regular graph is constructed by replacing selected cliques with a (2,r)-regular graph and joining the vertices of the peripheral cliques. For example, in a nested 's' graph when n = s + mp, we obtain n = s1+m1p1+mp. The nested 's' graph is now of the form Gs = Ks1+m1Kp1+mKp. We ex

Abstract:
Abstract Radiation protection is central to ensure nuclear safety, proper operating conditions, and the prevention of accidents in nuclear facilities. Increasingly, path planning is being used to keep radiation risks as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA). However, most of the approach is sub-optimal, because they rely on exposure and roentgen definition only when considering different types of radiation and materials. Moreover, additional concepts are needed to determine the energy deposited in different body parts. In this study, we present an Optimized Dynamic Algorithm (ODA) for minimum d
