Abstract:

Il presente elaborato consiste in una proposta di traduzione di poesie selezionate dall’opera della poetessa Vera Pavlova, un’autrice ormai affermata in Russia ma ancora poco conosciuta all’estero, soprattutto in Italia. Proprio per questo motivo si è deciso di presentarla al lettore italiano dal punto di vista biografico e artistico. Nel primo capitolo di questo elaborato ripercorreremo infatti la sua vita, sia privata che artistica, citandone gli eventi più importanti. A questa seguirà un’introduzione alla poesia di Vera Pavlova, affrontandone sinteticamente la dichiarazione di poetica analizzando alcuni dei suoi versi. Seguirà il commento in cui verranno spiegate le principali problematiche contro le quali ci si è scontrati durante il processo traduttivo. Infine concluderemo con una riflessione che cercherà di riassumere l’essenza dell’opera di Vera Pavlova. Infine verrà la traduzione delle poesie scelte , corredate da testo originale a fronte.

Abstract:

Током XVIII и већег дела XIX века Карловачка митрополија је играла врло значajну улогу у изградњи верског, националног и културног идентитета српског народа, чему су пре свих доприносили њени митрополити. Павле Ненадовић је током пуних деветнаест година био на челу цркве, дуже него иједан његов претходник и наследник осим Стефана Стратимировића и Јосифа Рајачића. Већ је ово давало довољно повода да се његова делатност сагледа из више аспеката. Потицао је из круга будимских Срба који су знатно утицали на српску историју прве половине XVIII века, из породице која се доселила у овај град у Великој сеоби, бавила се трговином и занатством и играла значајну улогу у свом окружењу. Сам је доста рано ушао у градску службу, а као врло даровит, са 22 године упућен је као изасланик у име својих суграђана у Беч. Од 1726. је ушао у службу Карловачке митрополије − прво као егзарх митрополита Мојсија Петровића, Вићентија Јовановића и патријарха Арсенија IV, a потом и као њен епископ. Иако је имао доста несугласица са епископатом током положаја егзарха, када је 1744. коначно ушао у своју епархију, показао је доста организационих способности, које су још јаче изражене од његовог доласка на чело Митрополије 1749. Током наредних година покушавао је да наметне своја политичка решења у погледу православних народа Хабзбуршке монархије, пре свега Срба, али и Румуна. Иако му је држава константно негирала право да буде световни поглавар свог народа, он од тога није никада одустао, јер су га сами сународници за то сматрали. Вешто је користио значај Срба за хабзбуршку војску како би их заштитио од разних притисака световне власти и католичке цркве. У борби да заштити положај свог народа руководио се Привилегијама у њиховом изворном облику, док је Двор покушавао да у преговорима с њим пронађе један трајни систем за српски народ. Иако до његовог утврђивања за Ненадовићевог живота није дошло, него деценију касније, све што је он радио допринело је управо томе. Борећи се да заштити вернике од свих врстa верског прозелитизма успео је да сачува православне Србе и Румуне на многим подручјима. Отплатио је већину дугова својих претходника, завео дисциплину у манaстирима и уопште у Митрополији, развио колико је могао просвету и приближио народу ставове просветитељства. Утицао је и на развој српске теолошке мисли, а преко бројних посланица уређивао духовни и литургијски живот својих верника.У раду су коришћени постојећа литература, објављени и необјављени извори релевантних српских и страних архива, како би били реконструисани најважнији сегменти Ненадовићеве управе Карловачком митрополијом. У том циљу је било неопходно приказати неке догађаје шире од искључиво његове делатности, како би се управо она могла разумети на прави начин и контекстуализовати у одговарајуће оквире српске историје и историје Хабзбуршке монархије. Ненадовићева делатност је приказана у више поглавља, организованих по тематско-хронолошком принципу.Акценат је дат периоду када се налазио на челу цркве (1749−1768), али је обрађен и онај део његовог живота када се успињао у црквеној хијерархији.
Tokom XVIII i većeg dela XIX veka Karlovačka mitropolija je igrala vrlo značajnu ulogu u izgradnji verskog, nacionalnog i kulturnog identiteta srpskog naroda, čemu su pre svih doprinosili njeni mitropoliti. Pavle Nenadović je tokom punih devetnaest godina bio na čelu crkve, duže nego ijedan njegov prethodnik i naslednik osim Stefana Stratimirovića i Josifa Rajačića. Već je ovo davalo dovoljno povoda da se njegova delatnost sagleda iz više aspekata. Poticao je iz kruga budimskih Srba koji su znatno uticali na srpsku istoriju prve polovine XVIII veka, iz porodice koja se doselila u ovaj grad u Velikoj seobi, bavila se trgovinom i zanatstvom i igrala značajnu ulogu u svom okruženju. Sam je dosta rano ušao u gradsku službu, a kao vrlo darovit, sa 22 godine upućen je kao izaslanik u ime svojih sugrađana u Beč. Od 1726. je ušao u službu Karlovačke mitropolije − prvo kao egzarh mitropolita Mojsija Petrovića, Vićentija Jovanovića i patrijarha Arsenija IV, a potom i kao njen episkop. Iako je imao dosta nesuglasica sa episkopatom tokom položaja egzarha, kada je 1744. konačno ušao u svoju eparhiju, pokazao je dosta organizacionih sposobnosti, koje su još jače izražene od njegovog dolaska na čelo Mitropolije 1749. Tokom narednih godina pokušavao je da nametne svoja politička rešenja u pogledu pravoslavnih naroda Habzburške monarhije, pre svega Srba, ali i Rumuna. Iako mu je država konstantno negirala pravo da bude svetovni poglavar svog naroda, on od toga nije nikada odustao, jer su ga sami sunarodnici za to smatrali. Vešto je koristio značaj Srba za habzburšku vojsku kako bi ih zaštitio od raznih pritisaka svetovne vlasti i katoličke crkve. U borbi da zaštiti položaj svog naroda rukovodio se Privilegijama u njihovom izvornom obliku, dok je Dvor pokušavao da u pregovorima s njim pronađe jedan trajni sistem za srpski narod. Iako do njegovog utvrđivanja za Nenadovićevog života nije došlo, nego deceniju kasnije, sve što je on radio doprinelo je upravo tome. Boreći se da zaštiti vernike od svih vrsta verskog prozelitizma uspeo je da sačuva pravoslavne Srbe i Rumune na mnogim područjima. Otplatio je većinu dugova svojih prethodnika, zaveo disciplinu u manastirima i uopšte u Mitropoliji, razvio koliko je mogao prosvetu i približio narodu stavove prosvetiteljstva. Uticao je i na razvoj srpske teološke misli, a preko brojnih poslanica uređivao duhovni i liturgijski život svojih vernika.U radu su korišćeni postojeća literatura, objavljeni i neobjavljeni izvori relevantnih srpskih i stranih arhiva, kako bi bili rekonstruisani najvažniji segmenti Nenadovićeve uprave Karlovačkom mitropolijom. U tom cilju je bilo neophodno prikazati neke događaje šire od isključivo njegove delatnosti, kako bi se upravo ona mogla razumeti na pravi način i kontekstualizovati u odgovarajuće okvire srpske istorije i istorije Habzburške monarhije. Nenadovićeva delatnost je prikazana u više poglavlja, organizovanih po tematsko-hronološkom principu.Akcenat je dat periodu kada se nalazio na čelu crkve (1749−1768), ali je obrađen i onaj deo njegovog života kada se uspinjao u crkvenoj hijerarhiji.

Abstract:

Hip dysplasia, also known as congenital dysplasia of the hip (CDH) or Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH), is a mal-alignment of the hip joint. Left untreated within the first nine months, DDH could lead to permanent disability. Luckily however, this condition is diagnosed at an early age and is usually treated without surgery through the use of the Pavlik harness. In this thesis, a 3D computational model and dynamic finite element analysis of the muscles and tissues involved in hip dysplasia and the mechanics of the Pavlik harness, as rendered by Dr. Alain J. Kassab’s research group in the College of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in the University of Central Florida over the past 3 years, were reviewed and discussed to evaluate the accuracy of the hip reduction mechanism. I examine the group’s usage of CT-based images to create accurate models of the bony structures, muscle tensions and roles that were generated using biomechanical analyses of maximal and passive strain, and the usage of adult and infant hips. Results, as produced by the group indicated that the effects and force contribution of the muscles studied are functions of severity of hip dislocation. Therefore, I discussed complications with real world-to-computational modeling with regards to structural systems and data interpretations. Although this design could be applied to more anatomical models and mechanistic analyses, more research would have to be completed to create more accurate models and results.

Abstract:

Biomechanical factors influencing the reduction of dislocated hips with the Pavlik harness in patients of Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH) were studied using a simplified three-dimensional computer model simulating hip reduction dynamics in (1) subluxated, and (2) fully dislocated hip joints. The CT-scans of a 6 month-old female infant were used to measure the geometrical features of the hip joint including acetabular and femoral head diameter, acetabular depth, and geometry of the acetabular labrum, using the medical segmentation software Mimics. The lower extremity was modeled by three segments: thigh, leg, and foot. The mass and the location of the center of gravity of each segment were calculated using anthropometry, based on the total body mass of a 6-month old female infant at the 50th length-for-age percentile. A calibrated nonlinear stress-strain model was used to simulate muscle responses. The simplified 3D model consists of the pubis, ischium, acetabulum with labrum, and femoral head, neck, and shaft. It is capable of simulating dislocated as well as reduced hips in abduction and flexion. Five hip adductor muscles were identified as key mediators of DDH prognosis, and the non-dimensional force contribution of each in the direction necessary to achieve concentric hip reductions was determined. Results point to the adductor muscles as mediators of subluxated hip reductions, as their mechanical action is a function of the degree of hip dislocation. For subluxated hips in abduction and flexion, the Pectineus, Adductor Brevis, Adductor Longus, and proximal Adductor Magnus muscles contribute positively to reduction, while the rest of the Adductor Magnus contributes negatively. In full dislocations all muscles contribute detrimentally to reduction, elucidating the need for traction to reduce Graf IV type dislocations. Reduction of dysplastic hips was found to occur in two distinct phases: (a) release phase and (b) reduction phase. To expand the range of DDH-related problems that can be studied, an improved three-dimensional anatomical computer model was generated by combining CT-scan and muscle positional data belonging to four human subjects. This model consists of the hip bone and femora of a 10-week old female infant. It was segmented to encompass the distinct cartilaginous regions of infant anatomy, as well as the different regions of cortical and cancellous bone; these properties were retrieved from the literature. This engineering computer model of an infant anatomy is being employed for (1) the development of a complete finite element and dynamics computer model for simulations of hip dysplasia reductions using novel treatment approaches, (2) the determination of a path of least resistance in reductions of hip dysplasia based on a minimum potential energy approach, (3) the study of the mechanics of hyperflexion of the hip as alternative treatment for late-presenting cases of hip dysplasia, and (4) a comprehensive investigation of the effects of femoral anteversion angle (AV) variations in reductions of hip dysplasia. This thesis thus reports on an interdisciplinary effort between orthopedic surgeons and mechanical engineers to apply engineering fundamentals to solve medical problems. The results of this research are clinically relevant in pediatric orthopaedics.

Abstract:

Auf seinen Reisen traf Alexander von Humboldt wiederholt Personen, die später die zufällige Begegnung oder eine flüchtige Bekanntschaft mit ihm für ihren sozialen bzw. gesellschaftlichen Aufstieg zu nutzen versuchten. So war es auch mit Karolina Jaenisch (1810-1893), der späteren K. Karlovna Pavlova, der Tochter eines in Russland ansässigen deutschen Hochschullehrers. Humboldt begegnete ihr 1829 in Moskau bei einer Soiree, und er soll sie zu weiterem literarischen (dichterischen) Schaffen ermuntern haben. Humboldt nahm damals ein Bruchstück des von ihr aus dem Polnischen ins Deutsche übersetzten Poems „Konrad Wallenrod“ von Adam Mickiewicz, dem späteren polnischen prince des poètes, mit, und übergab es Goethe. Zu jener Zeit war Karolina sehr eng mit Mickiewicz befreundet und beteuerte ihm in Briefen ihre grenzlose und ewige Liebe. Mickiewicz war aber fest entschlossen, Russland für immer zu verlassen. Das tat er 1829. In ihrem Sonett „An Alexander von Humboldt“ drückte sie, nach Meinung von Literaturkritikern, ihren unstillbaren Schmerz über den Verlust des geliebten Mickiewicz aus. Humboldt traf Karolina noch einmal 30 Jahre später in Berlin.
W czasie swoich podróży i ekspedycji spotykał Alexander von Humboldt nierzadko osoby, które potem już samo przelotne z nim spotkanie próbowały wykorzystać ponad miarę dla podniesienia swej pozycji społecznej czy towarzyskiej. Tak miała się rzecz z Karoliną Jaenisch (1810-1893), młodzieńczą sympatią Adama Mickiewicza w czasie jego zesłania w Rosji w roku 1829. W tym samym roku 60-letni wówczas Humboldt odbywał wielomiesięczną, syberyjsko-azjatycką, ekspedycję przyrodniczą. W pewnym salonie artystycznym w Moskwie spotkał wówczas niezwykle uzdolnioną językowo, a także literacko i artystycznie, Karolinę Jaenisch, córkę osiadłego w Rosji niemieckiego profesora fizyki. W pamiętniku 20-letniej zaledwie poetki Humboldt wpisać miał bardzo pochlebne dla niej słowa, które były potem źródłem powszechnie okazywanej przez nią dumy i ambicji. Wszakże jedynym obiektem bezgranicznego uczucia i uwielbienia był dla Karoliny, aż po kres jej długiego życia, Adam Mickiewicz. Młody poeta nie wyobrażał sobie jednak dalszej egzystencji, a zwłaszcza swobodnej twórczości w niewolniczym i zacofanym cywilizacyjnie kraju, jakim była Rosja, którą postanowił czym prędzej na zawsze opuścić i co mu się też szczęśliwie udało, ku rozpaczy zadurzonej w nim bez pamięci młodej Niemki. Jej sonet „Do Alexandra von Humboldta” wyraża, zdaniem krytyków, nieukojony ból poetki po utracie ukochanego Adama. Humboldt spotkał Karolinę Jaenisch raz jeszcze, po trzydziestu latach, w Berlinie i powitał ją, tak jak tylko on to potrafił: „Łaskawa Pani, przyzna Pani, że byłem dla Niej łaskawy. Ktoś inny na moim miejscu dawno by już umarł.”

Abstract:

En Chile cerca del 3% de los niños sufre de displasia luxante de cadera, los cuales en su mayoría son tratados a tiempo. Por otro lado un 16% de los niños de este país sufre alguna alteración en el desarrollo psicomotor, la cual no es siempre diagnosticada a tiempo, con lo que su tratamiento comienza de manera tardía, lo que conlleva riesgos en la rehabilitación del niño a sus actividades e integración social normal. Este estudio, el cual es descriptivo y transversal, buscó analizar el desarrollo psicomotor de los niños entre 4 y 10 meses que estaban con tratamiento para displasia luxante de cadera con correas de Pavlik, en el Hospital Roberto del Rio. Para esto se aplicó la escala de evaluación del desarrollo psicomotor a 40 sujetos, una sola vez y se analizaron los resultados, en los cuales se observó que el 95% de los sujetos tenía un desarrollo psicomotor normal, además que el área menos desarrollada entre los niños era el área motora, la cual no tenía relación con el tiempo de tratamiento. Finalmente se concluye que según el instrumento utilizado para evaluar el desarrollo psicomotor, no aparecieron alteraciones en los niños con estas características, lo cual puede atribuirse a un test poco sensible o a la no influencia en el desarrollo psicomotor por parte de las correas de Pavlik.
In Chile, about 3% of children suffer from hip dysplasia luxante, which are mostly treated in time. On the other hand 16% of children in this country suffer some alteration in psychomotor development, which is not always diagnosed on time. This situation causes a delay in treatment, resulting in risks to their child's rehabilitation normal activities and social integration. The study, which is descriptive and transverse, sought to examine the psychomotor development of children between 4 and 10 months who were treated for hip dysplasia luxante with Pavlik’s straps, in Roberto del Rio hospital. For this was applied the psychomotor development test at one time to 40 subjects and were analyzed the results, which showed that 95% of subjects had a normal psychomotor development, as well as the area least developed among the children was motor area, which did not have relation to time of treatment. Finally, it is concluded that depending on the instrument used to test the psychomotor development do not throw alterations in children with these characteristics, which can be attributed to an insensitive test or does not influence in the psychomotor development by Pavlik's straps.

The thesis deals with photographic work of conceptual artist Ivan Kafka and questions regarding the thin line between technical documentation and its artistic quality. It focuses primarily on issues related to the documentation of art and presentation of installa-tion records. Issues accompanying photographic documentation of art are presented using examples of specific works by Ivan Kafka and his approach from a technical and artistic point of view. The text is built around thematic interviews with the author Ivan Kafka, art photographer Martin Polák and art historian Pavlina Morgan. The purpose of these interviews was to present a specification of Kafka's documentary approach from different perspectives and point to the exceptional, as well as problematic aspects of his photographic work. Individual subject areas are developed considering the problematic questions concerning documentation of photography.

Abstract:

Via interviews with five female students and one female teacher at the Documentary Film Deapartment at FAMU, this thesis seeks to define if not an exact, specific form, then a marked out area of today's female identity. In the dialogue with these women, the question how do they use their femininity in their work is asked. Which areas are opened thanks to their gender and in which way is their contemporary thinking about womanhood different (and shifted) in comparison to the previous generations of the feminist discourse? To what extent do the old models of perception of women persist and even parasitize within them, and how do they find their liberating escapes? The thesis represents an instrumental specimen taken from a limited time and space i.e. the Documentary Film Department at FAMU during the last decade (2007-2017). This work is also part for the general search of role of women here and now.

Abstract:

The present thesis, Paul's Apostolic Existence. How to understand apostle Paul when he writes about apostle Paul, investigates the issue of why Paul writes so frequently in his epistles about himself and his life. The search starts in 2 Cor 12:1-10 where Paul mentions Christ's answer to his prayer for recovery from sickness: "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weak- ness." This statement becomes the central point of the investigations. Their core part is exegesis of the relevant passages, mostly from Paul's letters to Corinth. The context is broadened by selected texts from the letters to the Philippians and to the Romans. In these texts, the apostle explains to the read- ers his own existence mainly by pointing out his weakness and suffering. The present thesis argues that Paul's motives for writing these texts should be looked for in his theology. He considers his recurring experience of God's power in weakness as instrumental in his mission to preach the gospel. The argument is supported by possibly precise description of the relation between Paul's apostolic existence and his preaching. This will show what benefit these texts can and should bring to their readers.

Abstract This work deals with the four final chapters of the Second Letter to Corinth, which are considered for their difference as a separate letter. The apostle Paul defends his apostolic mission here against "adversaries." The first chapters aim to bring closer the life of the Apostle Paul, his missionary journey. In abbreviated form, they also describe the individual leaves that St. Paul also wrote the so-called catalogs of suffering that these letters contain. The next section deals with Corinth. A brief outline of the history of this city-state is followed by a chapter on the local church community. After a short historical approach to Corinth, the characteristics of the local ecclesial community follow, followed by a description of the problems in this community as recorded in the letters that Paul addressed to Corinth. Behind this list is a brief introduction to the meaning of the word "apostle". At the end of this section, the work deals with the issue of Corinthian correspondence, ie the number of letters written in Corinth and their contents. After this general introduction to the problem, the work is devoted to a more detailed analysis of individual pericopes 2 Cor 10-13, which could shed light on what could be the reasons for this Great Paul's apology.

This diploma thesis deals with the description of the ethical themes in the Apostle Paul's authentic letters. At the very beginning of the description and of the ethical themes analysis, there is the historical context and events in Saint Paul's life depicted - his missionary travels and the ethical issues of his time. Further, there is the basis of Paul's ethics explained. In the following third chapter, the main ethical themes are being described thouroughly, e.g. love, freedom or conscience. There are also such topics as marriage, sexual ethics or the moral life in church community. In the fourth chaprer, we can learn about the current Paul's ethical principles within the context of fellow feeling or love to women. In conclusion, there are Paul's ethical principles and connection between faith and sense summarized. This graduation work focuses on the topic of Kingdom of God which does not belong to the main topics in Pauls Epistles. It seems that the topic of Kingdom of God is not in the centre of Pauls theological concern because there are not often mentioned words about Kingdom of God, Gods government, reign and governing in the Pauls true epistles. But it is in strange discrepancy with synoptical gospels where the topic of Kingdom of God is a principal and in fact main topic. Providing apostle Paul met and knew the tradition about Jesus Christ it must be possible to find some traces of this tradition in his Epistles. The work first researches Pauls theological resources which are based on his Jewish pharisee education. Consequently it interprets Pauls texts, in which he comments directly or indirectly on Kingdom of God, and tries to find relation with texts about Kingdom of God in the synoptical gospels. Then the work tries to describe the character of the topic of Kingdom of God in these gospels. Finally the work compares Pauls conception of Kingdom of God which came up from the exegesis of his texts about enouncement of Kingdom of God as the authors of the synoptical gospels noted. Abstract:

The dissertation entitled as "The interpretation of the baptism by the apostle Paul" deals with the New Testament passages about the baptism written by the 4 apostle Paul - first of all in Romans 6 (§ 2). The clear reference to the baptism can be found in other passages of Paul (Gal, 1 Cor, 2 Cor, Col, Eph and Titus), but there are less clear texts as well (§ 3). Chapters (§) 2 and 3 are crucial for the investigation of the Paul's interpretation of the baptism. The second task covers the investigation of the relation between the faith confession in 1 Cor 15,3 and the procedure of the Christian baptism: coming down (water, grave) and coming up (death - life) according to the proposition of Petr Pokorný (the baptism as the sign of Christ ascent). The exegetical and the theological analyzes is used in both tasks. The results of the investigation are summarized in the closing chapter (§ 7): (a) Based on the exegetical work we can see that the text in Romans 6,1-11 represents the core passage (locus classicus) for the understanding of the baptism by the apostle Paul. This is the oldest New Testament evidence about the execution of the baptism. This text stores the oldest Christian tradition echoing the tradition of the Gospel in 1Cor 15.3. Abstract:

In this work the gathering of the church in Corinth and its problems are analyzed in order to understand Paul's theological thinking and intentions about worship. These intentions are brought into connection with Paul's usage of worship terminology. Further, the significance of the Corinthian gathering for the life of the church is discussed. The analysis of the problem of the Corinthian Eucharist shows that different groups begin the dinner breaking the loaf at different moments as they arrive. Paul denies that this dinner is the Eucharist and re-establishes it by quoting the paradosis that emphasizes Jesus' dominance over the Eucharist and community with those for whom Jesus died. Concerning the Corinthian gathering where charismas appear Paul presents the profession of Jesus as Lord as a criterion of true spirituality. The general criterion for reformation of the worship is oikodome as the benefit for the church that is Christ's body. Paul emphasizes the integrative character of worship. However, Christian worship exceeds all sacral forms and fills the whole life of a believer. That's why Paul likes using sacral terminology in a transferred meaning. The Law in the letters of the Apostle Paul This thesis is devoted to the Pauline understanding of the Mosaic Law. The first chapter describes the historic circumstances: the meaning of the word "Law" and the understanding of the Law in the Jewish tradition and in the early Christianity. The second chapter of this work analyses the most important passages of Paul's letters which deal with the Law or with other connected topics. In the third chapter Paul's conception of the Law is compared with the Jewish one. Finally, the Pauline conception of the Law is confronted with the understanding of the Law in the later texts of the New Testament.

The institution of St. Paul 's Hospital in Prague belongs to social-charitable institutions that had taken care of the needed poor, ill, old, widows and orphans in the early modern period. The history of St. Paul 's Hospital had taken place in the area behind Poříčská brána and after the thirty year 's war in so called Temple. Certain amount of information, explaining not only economic and administrative functioning of St. Paul 's Hospital but also the history of day-to-day activities of the inhabitants, has been preserved in the hospital books in the Archive of the capital city Prague. The diploma thesis analyses material background of the hospital, the system of hospital donations, the administrative organisation with an accessible list of hospital clerks, and the quantity of care that the hospital was offering. In the list of the history of St. Paul 's Hospital there is also enumeration of duties and rules that had to be followed in order to stay in the hospital as well as references to the conditions and reasons for the admission of hospital applicants. Anglická anotace Concept of Freedom in Paul's Letters The aim of this diploma work is to present the Theology of Freedom that appears in the authentic Letters of Paul the Apostle. After a short introduction to the period context in the first chapter (which describes a concept of Freedom in the Hellenistic and Roman world and in the Judaism) the author comes to the main point that is Paul's concept of Freedom. This second chapter is divided into four sections - Freedom from the Sin, Freedom for the Good, Holy Spirit and Freedom, Freedom and Community. In each section the main pericopes from Letters of Paul are commented and put in the synthesis. Abstract:

The aim of this thesis "Theology of Labour of St. John Paul II." is to summarize John Paul II.'s theological view of human labour, its impact on Christian spirituality and evangelization and pastoral efforts of the church. There is also attention paid to influence of his theology on further social magisterial texts. At the end, there is a reflection of impacts of this teaching to everyday economic and political life. The thesis is based on magisterial documents of John Paul II., especially on the encyclical Laborem exercens and his two further social encyclicals, Sollicitudo rei socialis and Centisimus annus. Other inspiring ideas come especially from reflections on St. Joseph and from the theology of body. There is a discussion on relation of human labour to the Mystery of The Holy Trinity, on perichoretical and sharing character of human labour. As a part of discussion on spirituality, there is the work state of life defined as analogy to Christian state of life. Human labour is a key to the social question, it is a tool for our salvation and therefore the mission of the church. Abstract:

The thesis aims to cover the musical work of Jiří Pavlica for young listeners and performers and to find how it could be used during music classes for children in the first years of elementary school. The theoretical part of the thesis includes Jiří Pavlica's biography, the description of the author's and performer's work for children and its relation to folklorism. The theoretical part includes also four methodologies of how to work with a folk song in the elementary school. In the practical part eight preparations for model music lessons are presented, the preparations having been devised using the four methodologies. The thesis includes also testing and commenting on the actual applicability of the preparations.

Abstract:

The presented dissertation thesis called " Německý Brod graduale by Paul Melnik in 1506" is bound to my bachelor thesis, which also dealt with manuscript from the Paul of Melnik's workshop. The introduction of the thesis summarizes the already existing literature on the topic (Chap. 1). Then the following chapters are focused on the illuminator of the studied graduale (Chap. 2.1); they are also engaged in the questionable issues of provenance and dating the graduale, which is allegedly dated in 1506, however, the illumination contained in it rather refers to the graphic analogy (ies) of A. Dürer, which was (were) issued not earlier than in 1511 (Chap. 2.2). The thesis also includes a chapter which is dedicated to the donator of the manuscript (Chap. 3.1). Moreover, there are emphasized problems of literary fraternity and art of Utraquism in Bohemia as well (Chap. 3.3). The chapter 3.2 tries to summarize the works of the illuminator Paul of Melnik, and also to describe his artistic character. The last chapters are devoted to the decoration of the graduale and to possible analogies within the illuminations (Chap. 4).

Abstract:

This thesis on Work of Pavel Kohout from 1979 to 1989 deals the period of Kohout's life and work during his exile in Austria. The aim was to find out the main characteristics of Pavel Kohout's prosaic art and also to compare the period critiques and show their contact and different points. The first part focuses on a destiny of Pavel Kohout in chosen decade. The second part examines his novels Nápady svaté Kláry and Hodina tance a lásky together with the memoir-novel Kde je zakopán pes. The final part studies the period critiques and try to point out their similarity or difference. Thanks to analysis, the author found out that in exile Pavel Kohout continues in his poetic style, but his work also evinces the element of autentization. The novels Nápady svaté Kláry and Hodina tance a lásky represent Kohout's ability in fabulation. Value of the memoir-novel Kde je zakopán pes consists in its genre, which places the text on the border between fiction and non-fiction. The author proved that the beletrization of own memories increases the esthetic impact of a text. A comparison of certain critiques showed that a literary criticism looks at Kohout's work inconsistently. A considerable amount of information can be found about Pavel Z., but it is incomplete, his biographical data is listed only vaguely, usually in the form of short medallions. Most pieces about Pavel Z. are mainly written in connection with the so-called process with "Plastic People" or in connection with his artistic work. Mapping the life of Pavel Z., among other things, not just through his words and the testimonies of his close ones, is a probe into the history of a prominent personality, persecuted during the so-called normalization regime in Czechoslovakia and operating abroad, and a look back to his roots. Last but not least, it also represents an example of specific human thinking, and therefore serves as a mirror embedded in contemporary society.
