Abstract:
Studija osvjetljuje čuvanje Pavlove nauke u Pastoralnim poslanicama, analizirajući govor o Pavlovu evanđelju u 2 Tim 1,8-11 (1.) i Pavlovu pologu u 2 Tim 1,12-14 (2.).

Abstract:
Keywords: Meringue, Chickpeas, Pavlova Abstract Meringue is a basic mixture of egg whites whipped together with sugar until fluffy. Creamy texture makes it a favorite for creation into several other pastry products like pavlova, mousse, baked alaska, macaron, souffle, dacquoise and even sponge cake. Pavlova is a dessert made from meringue then filled with pastry cream and decorated using strawberries and or kiwi and passion fruit purée. Although using egg whites, in fact there are still a group of people who have not been able to enjoy the delicious meringue and processed products. Some of these people who are allergic to eggs or who are adopting a vegan lifestyle. Egg allergy is commonly caused by the protein content of eggs contained in albumin. Chickpeas has a unique nutritional content compared with other legumes and vegetable products, in chickpeas contained protein with a higher proportion of about 17% -30%. Other protein content also found in chickpeas is albumin and globulin. In this research the method used is experimental research method. In this experimental study the experimental design carried out was the utilization of chickpeas peanut water in lieu of egg white in the manufacture of meringue pavlova. The treatment provided is only one that is 100% egg white replacement with 100% water chickpeas peanuts as the main ingredient of making meringue pavlova.Meringue pavlova which made from 100% chickpeas water have a quality that compete with meringue pavlova which made from 100% egg white and can be accepted well by consumer.

Abstract:
Abstract The aim of the present study was to evaluate the growth rate of Balantidium coli in three xenic media cultures. Between 2013 and 2015, 10 B. coli isolates obtained from feces of Cynomolgus macaques, and 30 isolates from feces of pigs were studied. An inoculum of 500 trophozoites was transferred to tubes containing LES, TYSGM-9 and Pavlova media. These cultures were evaluated at incubation times of 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours. In most of strains analyzed wasn’t showed significant difference in the growth rate comparing TYSGM-9 and Pavlova media (Wilcoxon p>0.016). In Pavlova medium, the trophozoites showed a maximum growth at 72 hours with significant difference when compared with the times of 24 h and 96 h (Wilcoxon <0.008). In LES, viable trophozoites were observed until 24 hours, with a significant difference (Friedman p<0.05, Wilcoxon p<0.016) in the number of parasite cells compared with Pavlova and TYSGM-9 media cultures. Thus, LES medium seemed to be less adequate than the other media for maintenance of B. coli. Despite the satisfactory results in TYSGM-9, Pavlova medium was considered ideal for the maintenance of this protozoan strain, guaranteeing the viability of the parasite with subculture every three days, presenting lower costs.

Abstract:
Background: Pavlik harness is the initial treatment for the infants with developmental dysplasia of the hip who have not yet begun walking. Objectives: The present study evaluates the variables which affect the duration of PH treatment for patients successfully treated. Study design: Cross-sectional study. Methods: Pavlik harness was employed for 140 hips of 87 patients with developmental dysplasia of the hip in our institution between 2010 and 2013. In all, 55 hips of 46 patients who were treated successfully with Pavlik harness were included in this study. According to Graf’s sonographic classification, 23 hips were Type IIC, 26 were Type IID, and 6 were Type III. The studied variables were (1) alpha angle, (2) age at the start of treatment, (3) laterality, and (4) gender. The variables were compared with the duration of Pavlik harness treatment. Results: A highly significant inverse correlation was observed between Pavlik harness application time and alpha angle at the start of the treatment ( r = –0.050; p < 0.001). Bilateral involvement has statistically longer duration, when compared with unilateral involvement ( r = 0.28; p = 0.036). No statistically significant difference was present between duration of treatment and age at the start of Pavlik harness treatment ( r = –0.034; p = 0.804). There was no statistical significance between gender and duration of Pavlik harness ( r = 0.201; p > 0.05). Conclusion: The duration of treatment was negatively correlated with the initial alpha angle. A change of 1 degree in alpha angle may alter the duration of treatment as 0.89 week calculated by the formula (Application time (Week) = 56.6 – 0.89 × alpha angle). Bilateral involvement may need longer Pavlik harness treatment. Clinical relevance Pavlik harnes generally is the first treatment method for the infants with DDH. This study suggest conclutions about how long time is the Pavlik harness should be kept on the infants? The main indicator is initial alfa angle which is negatively correlated with the duration of treatment.

Abstract:
The lipid and fatty acid compositions of rotifers (Brachionus plicatilis) fed on yeast or on the unicellular prymnesiophyte Pavlova lutheri, an alga commonly used in Australian hatcheries, were compared by TLC-FID, GC and GC-MS. Significantly higher relative proportions of energy-rich triacylglycerol were present in the Pavlova-fed rotifers than in the yeast-fed animals, and total lipid content reached a maximum between 12 and 24 h. High incorporation of the essential fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA; 20: 5ω3) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA; 22:6ω3) occurred in the Pavlova-fed rotifers. EPA and DHA content was 11.6% of total fatty acids after 3 h of feeding and reached 20 and 23% after 24 and 48 h respectively. The proportion of essential fatty acids in rotifers fed Pavlova compares very favourably with data obtained by overseas workers using a variety of microalgae and dietary supplements. On the basis of fatty acid composition alone, these results confirm the suitability of P. lutheri as a feedstock for Australian mariculture operations.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the study of dedicated contribution of academician Mariia Vasylivna Pavlova (Gortynskaya) in the development of Paleozoology Science. It is noted that her research was carried out in several directions including studying the causes of extinction of animals in the past geological epochs, investigating the remains of fossil elephants, rhinos, tapirs, notartiodactyls and artiodactyls, describing the remains of mammals in Tiraspol gravel. M. V. Pavlova described hipparions and horses, found mainly in the southern regions of Ukraine and the Crimea. By this new material she proved that horses had originated from American protogippus. The idea of a single trunk development of horses both the Old and New World caused objections, especially in America, as in Europe, there were no finds of ancient forms of horse series – anchitheriinae and protogippus. M. V. Pavlova consistently sought them in Eurasia, and in 1903 she discovered the remains of the bones of the limbs of these ancient horses. Analysis of the scientific heritage of Academician M. V. Pavlova, an outstanding national paleoscientist, a specialist in evolutionary theory, an organizer of Paleozoology science and a teacher, makes it possible to understand the processes of development of national biological science. She takes one of the places of honor in the world of paleontological science. Her name is associated with the development of Paleozoology science of late XIX – the first third of the twentieth century and the scientific outlook on the development of various Paleozoology concepts, laws and ideas. It suggests the urgency and necessity of this research. Its relevance is also caused by significant civil and scientific value of a person M. V. Pavlova in Paleozoology science, the lack of special comprehensive study of her life, scientific, organizational and administrative activities in the history of science, the need to create the most objective biography of M. V. Pavlova, the analysis of creative works and the importance of the introduction of solid scientific use of new sources and facts. Scientific activities of Pavlova as the scientific leader and founder of scientific school and her contribution in Paleozoology science has been marginally disclosed yet.

Abstract:
The literary reputation of Karolina Pavlova (1807-1893) has fluctuated considerably over the years: she was praised in the 1830s, 1840s and early 1850s, reviled in the 1860s as unprogressive and consigned to oblivion from the 1870s until her death in 1893. At the turn of the century she was rediscovered by the Russian symbolists: Poliakov, Blok and Bely praised her, and Valerii Briusov edited a two-volume edition of her work (1915). Women poets of the time, such as Cherubina de Gabriak (Elisaveta Vasil'eva), Akhmatova, Tsvetaeva and Parnok, cited her and dedicated poems to her. After the revolution Pavlova was reconsigned to oblivion. Two scholarly editions of Pavlova's poetry appeared during the Soviet period (1937 and 1964) but accompanied by introductions deploring her unprogressive views on politics and art. At best they damned her with faint praise as “not first rate but all the same somewhat noteworthy.” The ambivalent attitude toward Pavlova may have reflected a conflict between the Soviet attempt to “claim the classics for the Soviet cause” while downplaying material that could not be construed retroactively to support the Soviet regime; Pavlova was identified with the politically conservative Slavophiles. Only after she had been rediscovered in the west did positive Soviet scholarship about her begin to appear.

Abstract:
Academician M.V. Pavlova successfully conducted her research in several scientific fields. She was interested in the problems of paleozoology, studied the causes of extinction of animals in past geological epochs, investigated the fossil remains of elephants, rhinos, tapirs, ungulates, lower Cretaceous ammonites, described numerous fossil remains of mammals of Tiraspol gravel. Her talent was clearly manifested in the field of science, unusual were her abilities in the history of science, and in the promotion of paleozoological knowledge. Pavlova made a significant contribution to the treasury of world science by her many-sided scientific, social and pedagogical activity. Her merits in creating a national paleozoological school are invaluable. Her paleozoological works are known far beyond our country. Encyclopedism and theoretical thought are characteristic features of M.V. Pavlova, born as a result of the continuous work of a scientist. Her works mark a deep knowledge of history and a belief in the succession of all things progressive. She interestingly and publicly taught the most difficult questions, wrote her works with great pedagogical skill. A special place among scientific works of Pavlova is occupied by those studies that resulted from the generalization, critical rethinking of new concepts: studies of fossil elephants, phylogenetic rows of ungulates, environmental impact on ungulates. An analysis of these concepts has allowed her to draw very important conclusions that are consistent with our time.

Maria V. Pavlova was the first Russian woman to achieve significant national and international success in her chosen specialty – vertebrate paleontology. She introduced the scientific world to a rich collection of Russian paleontological material, most of which she had collected and classified. In addition, she laid the foundation for programs to educate professional paleontologists, geologists, and biologists who would benefit from an understanding of biostratigraphic methods. Thanks to these and many other achievements, Pavlova is recognized as one of the founders of Russian evolutionary paleontology as an independent biological discipline.

Abstract:
Aims To determine the likelihood of achieving a successful closed reduction (CR) of a dislocated hip in developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) after failed Pavlik harness treatment We report the rate of avascular necrosis (AVN) and the need for further surgical procedures. Methods Data was obtained from the Northern Ireland DDH database. All children who underwent an attempted closed reduction between 2011 and 2016 were identified. Children with a dislocated hip that failed Pavlik harness treatment were included in the study. Successful closed reduction was defined as a hip that reduced in theatre and remained reduced. Most recent imaging was assessed for the presence of AVN using the Kalamchi and MacEwen classification. Results There were 644 dislocated hips in 543 patients initially treated in Pavlik harness. In all, 67 hips failed Pavlik harness treatment and proceeded to arthrogram (CR) under general anaesthetic at an average age of 180 days. The number of hips that were deemed reduced in theatre was 46 of the 67 (69%). A total of 11 hips re-dislocated and underwent open reduction, giving a true successful CR rate of 52%. For the total cohort of 67 hips that went to theatre for arthrogram and attempted CR, five (7%) developed clinically significant AVN at an average follow-up of four years and one month, while none of the 35 hips whose reduction was truly successful developed clinically significant AVN. Conclusion The likelihood of a successful closed reduction of a dislocated hip in the Northern Ireland population, which has failed Pavlik harness treatment, is 52% with a clinically significant AVN rate of 7%. As such, we continue to advocate closed reduction under general anaesthetic for the hip that has failed Pavlik harness. Cite this article: Bone Jt Open 2021;2(8):594–598.

Abstract:
Anna Pavlova was the first ballerina to tour the world, effectively globalizing ballet and transforming it from a European/Russian art form into a universal one. The places that she performed in, exotic, war-torn or on the brink of a civil revolt, with either unbearably hot or achingly cold climates, all received her differently, according to the local culture, affecting the ballerina as much as she had an effect on the people who came to see her dance. In most places, such as Cuba, Argentina, the US, Australia, and the Philippines, Pavlova had inspired the localization of ballet in their respective cultures, where appropriation had turned into tradition. This paper looks at how Anna Pavlova accomplished the globalization of ballet as a universal art form, and how it had successfully embedded itself as a local tradition in several countries, specifically in the Philippines, where there exist three professional ballet companies that are still currently active. This paper analyzes Pavlova’s contribution using the concepts of globalization, culture contact, and localization or indigenization.

Abstract:
Aims The objective of this study was to evaluate the clinical and radiological outcomes of patients younger than six months of age with developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) managed by either a Pavlik harness or Tübingen hip flexion splint. Methods Records of 251 consecutive infants with a mean age of 89 days (SD 47), diagnosed with DDH between January 2015 and December 2018, were retrospectively reviewed. Inclusion criteria for patients with DDH were: younger than 180 days at the time of diagnosis; ultrasound Graf classification of IIc or greater; treatment by Pavlik harness or Tübingen splint; and no prior treatment history. All patients underwent hip ultrasound every seven days during the first three weeks of treatment and subsequently every three to four weeks until completion of treatment. If no signs of improvement were found after three weeks, the Pavlik harness or Tübingen splint was discontinued. Statistical analysis was performed. Results The study included 251 patients with Graf grades IIc to IV in 18 males and 233 females with DDH. Mean follow-up time was 22 months (SD 10). A total of 116 hips were graded as Graf IIc (39.1%), nine as grade D (3.0%), 100 as grade III (33.7%), and 72 as grade IV (24.2%). There were 109 patients (128 hips) in the Pavlik group and 142 patients (169 hips) in the Tübingen group (p = 0.227). The Tübingen group showed a 69.8% success rate in Graf III and Graf IV hips while the success rate was significantly lower in the Pavlik group, 53.9% (p = 0.033). For infants older than three months of age, the Tübingen group showed a 71.4% success rate, and the Pavlik group a 54.4% success rate (p = 0.047). Conclusion The Tübingen splint should be the preferred treatment option for children older than three months, and for those with severe forms of DDH such as Graf grade III and IV, who are younger than six months at time of diagnosis. The Tübingen hip flexion splint is a valid alternative to the Pavlik harness for older infants and those with more severe DDH. Cite this article: Bone Joint J 2021;103-B(5):991–998.

Abstract:
Nitroguanidines are a new family of synthetic plant growth regulators (Speltz, Walworth, and Pavlista 1986. US Patent #4, 594, 092) These compounds have cytokinin-like activity such as delaying senescence. Three compounds are AC239, 604, AC243, 419 and AC132, 654 The first two are phenyl and the latter is a benzyl nitroguanidine. Examples of anti-senescence activity of these compounds are: 1. sunflower leaves, 2. tobacco leaves, 3. leafy lettuce, 4. kale, 5. collards, and 6. Swiss chard. The senescence of cut ornamental flowers is also inhibited. Examples are gladiolus and daffodils. Along with delaying senescence, AC239, 604, for example, increased leaf size, thereby, increasing yield of leaf crops such as tobacco (Pavlista and Templeton. 1987. PGRSA Proc.) and lettuce.

Abstract:
Introduction. Use of Pavlik harness for the treatment of DDH can be complicated for parents. Any misuse or failure in the adjustments may lead to significant complications. An abduction brace was introduced in our institution, as it was thought to be easier to use.Aim. We assess the results for the treatment of DDH using our abduction brace in children of 0–6 months old and compare these results with data on treatments using the Pavlik harness.Method. Retrospective analysis of patients with DDH from 0 to 6 months old at diagnosis, performed from 2004 to 2009. Outcomes were rates of reduction of the hip and avascular necrosis of the femoral head (AVN). Follow-up was at one year and up to 4 years old.Results. Hip reduction was successful in 28 of 33 patients (85%), with no AVN.Conclusion. Our results in terms of hip reduction rate and AVN rate are similar to those found in literature assessing Pavlik harness use, with a simpler and comfortable treatment procedure.

Abstract:
Botanical composition of grasses is one of the most important indicators the biological value and quality of the obtained hay and pasture forage, the longevity of hayfi elds and pastures depend on. The issue of changing the botanical composition of agrophytocenoses is especially important in the context of global climate change, which in recent decades is also manifested in the territory of Ukraine, as it is possible to establish the most adapted species of legumes and cereals to adverse weather conditions and to identify eff ective technological methods of managing these processes for maximum conservation economically valuable species in the herbage. The purpose of the research is to establish the infl uence of diff erent ways of sowing of clover and alfalfa cereal crops agrophytocenoses on the formation of their botanical composition. Field studies have established diff erent eff ects of conventional in-line, cross-section and cross-sectional methods of sowing on the formation of botanical composition of grass mixtures of clover meadow (Trifolium pratense) varieties Sparta and Pavlyna with timothy meadow (Phleum pratense) and fenugreek multifl oral (Lolium multifl orum) and of agrophytocenoses of alfalfa of Sinyukha and Seraphima sowing varieties with reed fire (Festuca arundinacea Schreb) and middle wheatgrass (Elytrigia intermedia). For the average of four years of life of clover and alfalfa cereal crops agrophytocenoses, the highest proportion of legume component was observed with split-cross sowing – 51.6 % for Sparta, 53.1 % for Pavlyna, 60.3 % for Seraphima and 61.6 % for the Sinyukha variety. In the fourth year of life (the third year of use) of sowed leguminous-cereals agrophytocenoses, the preservation of the legume component was 14.6–15.5 % in clover-cereals grass mixtures with the Sparta variety and 16.0–16.8 % with the Pavlyna variety. In alfalfa grasslands, these indicators were 54.0–55.1 % with Seraphim and 55.0–56.2 % with Sinyukha. Among the studied varieties of clover meadow and alfalfa sowing proved better in the conditions of the Forest Steppe of western Pavlyna and Sinyukha. Cross-sectional and divided cross-sectional sowing of legumes and cereals mixtures proved to be better compared to conventional row crops in terms of conservation of economically valuable grass species. Key words: agrophytocenosis, botanical composition, clover meadow, alfalfa sowing, sowing methods.

Abstract:
The ultrastructure of mitosis in the algal flagellates Pavlova lutheri and P. salina has been examined, the observations have been compared with those reported previously from other species included in the class Prymnesiophyceae, and a number of important differences have been noted. For example, mitosis is preceded by the replication of the chloroplasts and flagellar apparatus, but in contrast to other prymnesiophytes, separation of the replicated systems does not occur until a late stage in cell division. Furthermore, there is a close relationship between the spindle microtubules and the fibrous root of the longer of the two markedly unequal flagella, and instead of the usual straight prymnesiophycean spindle, the longitudinal axis of the Pavlova mitotic spindle has a marked U- or V-shape which persists throughout metaphase, anaphase, and telophase. It is concluded that such features emphasize the validity of the order Pavlovales as a natural group within the class.

Abstract:
How does legendary status evolve in the world of ballet? Are the most brilliant dance figures simply bound to be recognized by the public and discerning critics alike? Or does historical importance depend on specific strategies? Or on the serendipity of circumstance? Joan Acocella notes that genius owes much to “ego strength” as well as luck (2007, xii). Perhaps the element of fame is always interlocked with market forces, even in the dance world, where artists are affected by what is written about them, whether it appears in influential places, and how much can be gained by selling an image. But how does history arrive at the consideration of a dance legend's substance and contributions? Being respected in the long run might inevitably depend on a combination of circumstances, including whether the popular imagination or the attention of academics can be captured. In the case of Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova, a legend has grown around a particular set of glorifying associations. My question here is whether or not these associations, while celebrating Pavlova as a dance “star,” have also limited consideration of her as a significant figure in dance history. Often categorized as “old-fashioned” and “conservative,” Pavlova was in fact an innovator, I suggest, in terms of the way she combined ballet and dance influences from around the world, as well as her role in revivals of neglected dance forms, and, lastly, in her rhetorical framing of ballet as a serious endeavor and an empowering pursuit for women.

Abstract:
Research subject. Large orogenic gold deposits in the fold belts of Central and Northeast Asia.Materials and methods. Geological mapping of various scales on a number of large orogenic gold deposits was conducted using the methods of structural-paragenetic analysis of metamorphic strata, accompanied by obligatory linking of ore mineralization manifestations to specific structures. In a number of cases, various statistical methods were used to geometrize mineralization, identify patterns of its location and determine the paths of paleofluid flows. Available publications on the objects under consideration were reviewed. The geological and structural features of large orogenic gold deposits – Muruntau, Kokpatas, Sukhoi Log and Pavlik – were considered.Results. The Muruntau, Kokpatas and the Sukhoi Log ore deposits are of shariyage-thrust type. Compared to these objects, the Pavlik field is confined to a zone of volumetric fracturing between a series of reverse faults, feathering a large deep fault and belonging to the transpression type. At the Muruntau and Pavlik deposits, the analysis of the location of the most intensive mineralization substantiated the paths of paleofluid flows, along which the fluid migration and ore formation took place.Conclusions. The distribution of ore mineralization in the Muruntau deposit obeys the orientation of planar (cleavage) and linear (orientation of fold hinges) elements. Apparently, the former (main) direction may indicate the orientation and position of the main migration route of ore-bearing fluids, while the latter corresponds to secondary channels, the position of which is due to the intersection of syn-napping structures with favourable lithological horizons. For the Pavlik deposit, the position of ore pillars is compared with the paths of paleofluid flows, the root parts of which are promising for identifying the most powerful and intense mineralization.

Abstract:
Abstract The cellular localization of the betaine lipids diacylglyceryl-N,N,N-trimethylhomoserine (DGTS) and diacylglycerylhydroxymethyl-N,N,N-trimethyl-β-alanine (DGTA) was investi gated by a) chemical analysis of subcellular fractions and b) immunochemical methods using specific antisera and either fluorescence microscopy or electron microscopy for detection of the label. A homogenate of Lycopodium annotinum (Pteridophyta) was fractionated by differential and density gradient centrifugation. The particulate fractions obtained were analyzed for chlorophyll, cyt c oxidase, NADH-cyt c reductase and DGTS. Non-plastidial fractions were enriched in DGTS and only minor amounts of this lipid could be attributed to chloroplasts. Anti-DGTS and anti-DGTA sera were produced by immunization of rabbits. The monospecificity of the antisera was examined with cells of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii (Chlorophyceae) containing DGTS, Pavlova lutheri (Haptophyceae) containing DGTA and Ochromonas danica (Chrysophyceae) containing both DGTS and DGTA. Euglena gracilis which is free of betaine lipids, was used as a control. For the test, a FITC-coupled goat anti-rabbit antibody was used and detected by fluorescence microscopy. Thin sections of Ochromonas and Pavlova were incubated first with the anti-lipid sera and subsequently with a gold-coupled anti-rabbit serum and then examined in the electron microscope. With O chro monas, anti-DGTS as well as anti-DGTA sera gave an accumulation of gold label in the cytoplasmic space but not in the chloroplasts. Similar results were obtained with Pavlova using anti-DGTA serum. These results describe for the first time the cytochemical localiza tion of DGTS and DGTA strongly suggesting both these lipids to be associated mainly with non-plastidial structures.
