Abstract:
Salary is the payment conducted by companies regularly every month to employees as the compensation for the service given by permanent employees and professional ones. In a payroll system insinceruty, manipulation, and delay of salary payment to the employees frequently happens. Determination of the payroll system which is applied by companies is an important thing since payroll involves some resources of the company, in this case expenses. If the payroll system has been applied well, the cooperation of the employees and company will run well, too. Hence, in a payroll system a good internal control is needed. In the internal control of the system of payroll there are four mechanisms, i.e.: organization, authorization system, record procedures, and healthy practice. Application control is applied in the certain use of the system. The steps of application control are as follows: input control, process control, and output control. The purpose of good internal control on the payroll system is to guard the safety of the company’s assets, checking the accuracy and accounting data, to increase the efficiency in the company’s operation, and to generate obedience towards the policy of the management determined. The method of research is applied by studying books related to payrolls and the field research – directly being involved in the company’s activities and by way of interviews conducted with departments related with payrolls system. The result of the research of Employees Payroll System Evaluation related with Cash Internal Control Application Effectiveness being carried out in the company shows that all the financial related and employee affairs related things of the company including payroll problem is the authority and responsibility of the function of accounting department which is also responsible for finance and personnel. From the research conducted by the writer, it can be concluded that internal control on proper payroll system is very important. The control itself is aimed to avoid unfairness and corruption that can happen in the application of company payroll procedures. The recommendation that can be given to PT Pondok Pinang Motor is that the company should make some changes towards betterment in terms of double authority and responsibility by recruiting more resources for finance and personnel department. Abstract:
This study aimed to evaluate the payroll process system within the Human Resource Management of the City Government of Naga, focusing on improving payroll accuracy and efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing employee satisfaction. The study sought to answer key questions regarding the level of efficiency of payroll processing practices, identifying challenges in payroll management, and examining the relationship between efficiency and the challenges faced. Specifically, it looked at the efficiency in terms of accuracy, timeliness, system coverage, and reporting, while also exploring challenges related to payroll implementation, technological limitations, and human resource management. The study utilized a descriptive- correlational design, employing statistical tools such as correlation analysis to assess the relationships between variables. A total of 48 respondents, comprising HR personnel and payroll management staff, participated in the study. The findings revealed that the payroll system's efficiency was rated highly effective in accuracy, timeliness, and coverage, while challenges were primarily linked to payroll implementation and technological limitations. The analysis showed a significant positive correlation between the level of efficiency and challenges in payroll management, with strong to very strong relationships identified between different payroll system components and management challenges. Based on these findings, the study recommends the implementation of more advanced payroll systems, continuous staff training, and the development of a comprehensive Payroll Process Manual to standardize procedures and improve payroll operations.

If the payroll system design is correct but the users are still difficult to run the system, it will complicate the decision-making process in the payroll.This study aims to determine the effect of the use of information technology and the participation of users of information systems on the performance. Types of associative research. The population of this research is all employees involved in the payroll process. Sampling using purposive sampling method of 35 respondents. Data processing using SPSS software. The results show that the use of information technology has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the payroll system. Information system user participation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the payroll system. The use of information technology and the participation of information system users have a positive and significant effect on the performance of the payroll system.

The Design Information System of Payroll for Teachers and Employees in Medan Adventist 2 Elementary School is a research project that has the goal of developing an information system that can be used efficiently to process the payroll process for teachers and employees of Medan Adventist 2 Elementary School. This information system is designed to facilitate the web-based payroll process, which does not require a lot of time to process payroll, whereas previously the payroll process was done manually using a ledger, which took quite a long time. The results of this study are a payroll information system for teachers and employees that can assist cashiers as admins in carrying out the payroll process and issuing salaries that will be received by teachers and employees accurately and systematically. This system is also equipped with a security feature that ensures that only the main admin, namely the cashier, has the authority to make payroll.

In this study the author uses the prototype method using the PHP programming language with the Codeigniter3 framework. The results of this employee payroll information system are 2 users, namely admin and employees.

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Huda Kota Tangerang is one of the private schools, but data processing payroll in this schooll was still unintegrated. The ongoing payroll system was still in use of a manual system. The results of this were many obstacles faced by the school in the production of materials such as in payroll contracts, payroll calculations, payroll slips, and drawing up payroll reports. Also, the information presentation was less fast, inexact, inaccurate because current media transmission information consists of purely physical documents. The research method used waterfall method. Waterfall is a model of its development process for the coverage of a system, sequential or linear. The research steps were divided into: analysis, design, coding, testing and maintenance. The system would then be built using synthetic programming language PHP and Mysql as a database. The web-based employee payroll information system was intended to provide advantages in payroll data processing such as payroll process, payroll calculations, payroll slips, and payroll reports, so that manual jobs could be much easier and computerized. The result was derived from this research was development of the web-based employee payroll information system.

This study aims to determine the payroll system and internal control of the payroll system at PT. Zikrul Hakim Bestari Surabaya Branch. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Data were collected by interview and documentation methods. The results showed that the payroll system carried out by PT. Zikrul Hakim Bestari Surabaya Branch has gone through the system: AppSheet, Sisfo Audit and Payroll. The head office in Ciawi, Bogor, carries out payroll. The only function that is applied is the payroll function and the financial function; even then, it is carried out by the same person. Documents used in the payroll process are employee attendance lists and salary slips. Human errors occur in the company's payroll process (data entry errors). Internal control of payroll at PT. Zikrul Hakim Bestari Surabaya Branch has done well, although not optimally. This can be seen from the dual tasks that occur in the company.

The payroll process is a critical component of company operations, including in the garment manufacturing (konveksi) industry. However, manual payroll management often leads to various issues such as calculation errors, delayed payments, and inefficiencies in report generation. This study aims to design and develop a desktop-based employee payroll information system to enhance the effectiveness and accuracy of payroll management at CV.Hijab Geulis Konveksi. The research uses the Research and Development (R\&D) method with a Agile approach in software development. The system was built using Visual Basic .NET programming language and MySQL as the database. Key features of the system include employee data management, attendance recording, automated payroll calculation, payslip generation, and payroll reporting. Testing results show that the system functions effectively, reduces calculation errors, and accelerates the payroll process. With its simple and user-friendly interface, the system can be easily operated by non-technical users. In conclusion, this desktop-based payroll information system offers an effective solution to support administrative payroll tasks in small to medium-scale garment manufacturing companies.

Salary Is a payment for the delivery of services performed by employees who work for one month. Payroll has a very important role. This is because the payroll portion concerns the survival of the company. To overcome the misappropriation of payroll and so that the payroll process runs well, a reliable and accurate payroll system and procedure is needed to determine the steps that must be taken during the payroll process and also to provide documents used in employee payroll. 
 The purpose of this discussion is to find out how the payroll system and the civil servant payroll procedure at Kecamatan West Bogor of Bogor City as well as the documents used in the payroll
 The results of the discussion showed that Kecamatan west Bogor had carried out payroll systems and procedures well in accordance with the stages and applicable government regulations. Documents used in the remuneration have been done well, such as supporting documents on salary changes, hourly attendance cards, payroll, recapitulation of payroll, salary statements, and proof of cash out. The stipulations in the composition of salary payments can be justified to be used as a basis for the determination of the payroll system and procedures for providing employee salaries every month.

This study aims to determine the internal control system at CV Surya Jaya Abadi, the procedures applied in the employee payroll process, and to find out the weaknesses of the procedures that have been implemented. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach, data obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are the control system at CV Surya Jaya Abadi has been running quite effectively, although there are weaknesses found, among others, there is no separation of duties and authorities related to payroll, everything is done by the HRD department, there is no written internal payroll control system. as a guide in the payroll process, as well as a computerized payroll system that is not yet connected to the attendance system. Payroll problems that occur at CV Surya Jaya Abadi are salary errors, many are caused by human factors, including employees who have not been orderly absent through the fingerprint machine and errors in inputting the components of salary and attendance by the payroll section, namely HRD because the payroll system is separate from absences.

The problem faced in the payroll system at the Regional Secretariat of Tasikmalaya Regency is that the process is still carried out manually or semi-manually, which causes a lack of efficiency and accuracy in payroll management. So it is necessary to develop and implement a web-based Payroll Information System using the CodeIgniter framework to increase efficiency and accuracy in payroll management at the Regional Secretariat of Tasikmalaya Regency. The method used in this research study is software development which includes requirements analysis, design, implementation and system testing. The CodeIgniter framework was chosen because of its advantages in developing fast and structured web applications. This method enables the design and development of an efficient and effective web-based payroll information system. This system is designed to simplify the employee payroll process with features that include managing employee data, position data, attendance, setting salary deductions, payroll and reporting. With this implementation, it is hoped that it can increase efficiency and accuracy in payroll management at the Regional Secretariat of Tasikmalaya Regency.

The development of a web-based employee payroll information system has become an important solution in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the payroll process in various agencies, including the Panga Aceh Jaya Subdistrict Office. This research aims to design and implement a website-based employee payroll information system to improve the manual payroll process in the office. The development method used is the SDLC method with a waterfall approach. The result is a web application that allows users to manage employee data and payroll processes efficiently. This application has features such as a login form, employee data input, recapitulation, and payroll reports. The conclusion of this research shows that the implementation of this system has brought significant benefits in increasing the accuracy and speed of the payroll process. However, to increase the effectiveness of the system, it is recommended to optimize the use of computers and improve training for the workforce in interacting with the system. By implementing these suggestions, it is hoped that the performance of the information system can be further improved to provide greater benefits for the Panga Aceh Jaya Subdistrict Office.

The purpose of this research is to create a computerized payroll information system that make it easier for agency in the payroll process for employees and minimize the problems that often occur. This information system designed using PHP Myadmin programming language and MySQL as a database. The approach to developing this system uses the waterfall method and the tools involved include Flowmap, Context Diagram, Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD). The results of this employee payroll application can make it easier to collect employee data and calculation of employee salaries accurately and can streamline time in making reports so as to reduce errors in the employee payroll system.

The aim was to simplify the payroll process and organize payroll reporting process. The method that was used in this research is grounded research. Software used in this research are Java (Netbeans IDE version 8.0), MySQL 5.5.32, and XAMPP 3.2.1. The system development method to create a payroll information system was the waterfall method. The results of the study is a payroll application system with output in the form of employee reports, attendance reports, detailed salary reports, payroll reports, and pay slip reports.

Design of Teacher Payroll Information System is a system created to solve problems in the financial department, especially the payroll of teachers and staff at SMAS Plus Guna Cipta Cimanggung. The existence of a system that runs by recording payroll transactions and calculations still using semi-computerization, making it vulnerable to calculation errors and data redundancies. Data that is still separate causes the payroll process to take longer. As well as the difficulty of making payroll reports and pay slips because they have not been automatically computerized. The purpose of this research is to facilitate teachers or officers concerned in managing teacher payroll. And all users can access this information system more flexibly anywhere and anytime. The research method used is the Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) system with its development model, namely the Rational Unified Process (RUP) and its system design using the Unified Modeling Language (UML The results of the study show that this system can facilitate the process of managing teacher salaries more precisely and efficiently with easy access anywhere and anytime. Moreover, this system has a feature to manage attendance data using QR Codes.

At MTS Nurul Khoiroh, the current payroll system has several obstacles, where the teacher payroll process is still done manually. Payroll data is still calculated and recorded using the Microsoft Excel program and is not in the form of a database, so it is susceptible to loss and errors in data recapitulation at the end of the month. Based on these problems, an application will be created to handle the processing of salary calculation data which is the right of teachers and employees, starting from the process of calculating the basic salary to calculating allowances. The application was built using the waterfall method and with the PHP programming language. With this system, it is hoped that it will make it easier for school treasurers to manage data while also helping to increase the efficiency of the payroll process so that it becomes faster and more accurate.

This method was chosen because it promotes intense communication between the client and the system developer so that when there are changes or errors in the system, the developer is always ready to fix it. Extreme Programming also has a simple stage, namely planning, design, coding, and testing. The results of this study are the result of a web-based employee payroll information system that has various actors involved in the management and processing of its data. Business Process Improvement was used as a design approach in this research, with an applied research type. Collect data by interview with Headmaster and Treasurer. The tool used to document business processes is the Bizagi Modeler. Automation is carried out to prevent human error and increase the processing speed of payroll business processes. The business processes that are designed will be tested by material and information technology experts. The result of this research is that the proposed (to-be) business process increases the simplification of payroll activities by improving the quality of fast and accurate decision making which has economic value. Using Business Process Modelling Notation allows this research to present proposed business processes related to needs and solutions to problems in the research objects observed. This research is proven to be able to increase the simplification of business processes, increase efficiency in decision making by school principals in a relatively short time from 337 minutes to 41 minutes or a time saving of around 296 minutes (equivalent to 4.93 hours).Cutting manual activities to automated processes increases the opportunity for fraud and human error.

Purpose: This study aims to determine how the payroll and wage accounting system is implemented and whether the payroll and wage accounting system supports the internal control system at PT Taco Pratama Nusantara. Methods: The research method used is a qualitative approach by collecting data through interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. Findings: PT. Taco Pratama Nusantara which is engaged in the Trucking sector has implemented basic accounting functions including recording payroll and wage costs, creating cash disbursement evidence and financial reports. The financial documents used include salary and wage lists and cash disbursement evidence. The results of the analysis of the Internal Control System show that only a few components have been implemented correctly, while other components still need improvement in terms of organizational structure and work procedures. For this reason, the company is advised to start building a more systematic and well-documented payroll and wage system so that the process can run more transparently. Implication: In addition to ensuring transaction accuracy, the payroll and wage system has an application that should be the foundation of the accounting system. A well-structured and adequate accounting system and internal control system can help the process of calculating payroll and wages accurately, minimize fraud, reduce recording errors, data manipulation and misuse of funds. As a result, these actions become more structured which will have a major impact on increasing transparency and efficiency in the payroll and wage system in the future. Originality: This study shows that the significance of the payroll and wage accounting system for trucking companies at PT Taco Pratama Nusantara has not been widely discussed in previous studies. The method applied in this study provides a practical understanding of the application of the payroll and wage accounting system in the field.

This research aims to develop and modernize the employee payroll administration system at PDAM Batiwakkal Berau through the implementation of the Payroll System Website (SIMPEG). Previously, the process was conducted manually, leading to various challenges in the efficiency and accuracy of payroll data. In addressing these issues, we designed and implemented SIMPEG using the PHP programming language. The results include a significant improvement in the efficiency of the payroll process, minimizing human errors, and ensuring data accuracy. The use of SIMPEG also provides easy access and data management, making it an effective solution for modernizing employee administration at PDAM Batiwakkal Berau. It is expected that the findings of this research will contribute positively to enhancing performance and transparency in employee payroll data management.

This study aims to determine the payroll system apllied to the agency. As well, this research also aims to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the system being run. In the payroll process, it was known that these agencies previously still used a manual system, so the payroll process took longer and the results obtained were prone to errors. However, along with the development of technology, the company changed the manual system to use the NetBeans IDE 8.0.2 server application system. The payroll system is designed by the company owner which aims to facilitate the finance department in the payroll process. Using the payroll system is faster and doesn’t take longer, and the results in the calculation are clearer and more accurate.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati penggunaan sistem penggajian yang diterapkan pada instansi tersebut. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelebihan dan kelemahan yang terdapat dalam sistem yang dijalankan. Dalam proses penggajian diketahui pada instansi tersebut sebelumnya masih menggunakan sistem manual, sehingga proses penggajian memakan waktu yang lebih lama dan hasil yang didapatkan rentan terjadi kesalahan. Namun, seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, perusahaan mengubah sistem manual menjadi menggunakan sistem aplikasi NetBeans IDE 8.0.2 SQL server. Sistem penggajian tersebut dirancang oleh pemilik perusahaan yang bertujuan untuk memudahkan bagian keuangan dalam proses penggajian. Dengan menggunakan sistem penggajian tersebut ternyata menjadikan prosesnya lebih cepat dan tidak memakan waktu lebih lama dibanding penggunaan sistem manual, serta hasil dalam perhitungannya lebih jelas dan akurat.

Karya Koba Jaya is a company engaged in the construction of buildings, bridges, roads, and irrigation. Problems that exist in the company are long attendance processes due to long lines, leave applications that must meet HRD directly and there is no record of leave information and slow payroll processes because they must be adjusted to attendance data and the long attendance data recapitulation process so that it hampers payroll process. This attendance application, leave application, and payroll can solve employee problems in absenteeism, leave application, and payroll. This web-based application for leave and payroll attendance requires PHP language and the waterfall model SDLC method with stages such as needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance to make a system as expected. The results of this study indicate that the attendance application for submitting leave and payroll based on this website can help employees in attendance, apply for leave, and payroll and can help the attendance recapitulation process can be fast so that the payroll process is not hampered. And the test results from the application that show attendance applications, leave applications, and website-based payroll are all functioning well without any problems or errors in the application so that it can be implemented in the organization. The conclusion of this study is that this website-based application for absenteeism and payroll applications can help overcome problems that exist in the company.

This research produces a web-based payroll information system, and this can overcome the problems and constraints that existed in the old system so that it is able to meet all system requirements. The purpose of this study was to analyze the accounting information system of the payroll cycle process in the Ayu Furniture industry. Data collected by interview, observation and documentation techniques. Observation and documentation techniques are directly carried out at the research location in the Ayu Furniture industry. Analysis carried out by the method (PIECES) Performance, Information, Economy, Control, and Efficiency. The research approach uses descriptive qualitative, namely by describing the payroll accounting information system that exists in the company which includes activities in the payroll system, related functions, documents used, accounting records used, network procedures that make up the system and internal control system. The results showed that the payroll process in the Ayu Furniture industry uses a manual system, this can lead to potential fraud or negligence at the stage of attendance and submission of employee salaries, although the system has been running smoothly and effectively in terms of service, performance, information and economy.
