They said it was a dream come true and “payback” for being ostracized by their peers (Kalish & Kimmel, 2010). Until such devastations acted out in schools, bullying was considered a rite of passage. A research report prepared by the Social Policy Research Centre, UNSW for ANZSOG. Australia and New Zealand School of Government, 2022. http://dx.doi.org/10.54810/egdo9879.

Abstract:
These papers outline the findings of an ANZSOG research project, co-sponsored by the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet (NSW DPC), to identify the emerging considerations for governments in designing and delivering hybrid (i.e. virtual and face-to-face) services and hybrid place-based initiatives (PBIs) – specifically those relating to social services. The research was carried out by a team from the University of New South Wales’s Social Policy Research Centre (SPRCS) and draws on the recent experiences of governments in finding new ways of working in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Abstract:
Performance-based contracts (PBCs) used in road maintenance provide flexibility for considering new materials, design, and technology to achieve predetermined performance targets. Several states in the U.S. have already used these types of contracts in road maintenance, and their experience can inform the use of PBCs in California. The objectives of this research are twofold. First, identify the benefits and challenges of PBCs compared to traditional contracts. Second, explore the main aspects of PBCs implementation for road maintenance and relate them to California's context. To this end, ded

Objectives. To evaluate the comparative effectiveness and harms of partial breast irradiation (PBI) compared with whole breast irradiation (WBI) for early-stage breast cancer, and how differences in effectiveness and harms may be influenced by patient, tumor, and treatment factors, including treatment modality, target volume, dose, and fractionation. We also evaluated the relative financial toxicity of PBI versus WBI. Data sources. Abstract:

Full text
Abstract:
To address plastic pollution from fossil fuel polymers, biodegradable alternatives like starch and polybutylene succinate (PBS) are proposed. However, starch is hydrophilic, while PBS and PBSA are hydrophobic. This research investigates the use of dicumyl peroxide (DCP) and tartaric acid (TA) as coupling agents in blends of thermoplastic starch (TPS) and PBS/PBSA, with glycerol as a plasticizer. Different weight/weight compositions of DCP and TA were added to blends in an internal mixer and subsequently compressed molded into films. DCP enhances tensile strength and ductility but increases tor
