Abstract:
Cold air pool (CAP) is a winter-time, anticyclonic weather event: a cold air layer confined by the topography and warm air aloft. If its duration is more than one day, then it is called persistent cold air pool (PCAP). CAPs are mainly examined in small basins and valleys. Fewer studies pay attention to PCAPs in much larger basins (with an area of more than 50 000 km2), and it is not evident how effective the existing numerical definitions are in cases of extensive PCAP events. A possible method of identifying PCAPs in a large basin is to identify PCAP weather conditions at different measuring

This diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of an application suitable for the anonymization of PCAP files. The thesis presents TCP/IP model and for each layer highlights attributes that can be used to identify real people or organizations. Some of the anonymization methods suitable to modify highlighted attributes and sensitive data are described. The implemented application uses TShark tool to parse byte data of PCAP format to JSON format that is used in the application. TShark supports lots of network protocols which allows the application to anonymize various attributes.

Passive capillary wick samplers (PCAPs) are primarily used to sample water from the vadose zone. PCAPs use fiberglass wicks to form a hanging water column that exerts suction on the surrounding soil. Although PCAPs have been used to estimate soil water flux, the accuracy with which PCAPs can estimate flux comes into question due to over/undersampling caused by this applied flux. I used numerical models to explore the effects of a PCAP on flow through the vadose zone.
