Abstract:
Less than a decade ago Robin Seager wrote that further discussion of the Peace of Callias would be inexcusable. Needless to say, discussion has continued. Wherever one stands, on the problem as such, it ought to be admitted that new ideas have been put forward, or (since it seems unlikely, on a topic so much discussed, that anything new can now be said) at least old and forgotten ones have been revived and put in new perspectives. Meiggs's estimate of a special treatment to be expected every two years has stood up well enough: Klaus Meister's bibliography lists twenty special treatments between 1945 and 1982, and one (by S. Accame) appeared in the same year (1982) as Meister's own.

Abstract:
This paper gives an over-view of the many areas in which polymer concrete technology can create opportunities for developing and manufacturing products of immediate and local interest. It is postulated that such opportunities, if grasped and sensibly addressed will create sustainable employment which in turn will lead to prosperity throughout the world and the creation of world peace. An extensive Bibliography is provided to enable the interested reader to access further and more detailed information on the various application areas and also to study the state-of-the-art R&D in these areas involving various types of polymer concrete.

Abstract:
Bibliography dealing with the armed conflict in Central America, aptly called crisis literature, was abundant until the latter part of the 1990s, although North American academi- cians paid little attention to Guatemala. Now two books have been published, both with titles that refer to the same phenomenon. The peace process that concerns Susanne Jonas corresponds to the termination of the violent revolu- tion in Rachel McCleary's work.

Na engleskom jeziku pretraživane su online baze http://gen.lib.rus.ec i https://sci-hub.se, te internetski pretraživači. Od naučnih časopisa, najčešće konsultirani bili su: Znakovi vremena, časopis za filozofiju, religiju, znanost, i društvenu praksu,1 Bosna Francisana, časopis franjevačke teologije2 i Vrhbosnensia, časopis za teološka i međureligijska pitanja, Mjesto za drugog u našoj vjeri i životu4 kao i časopise na engleskom jeziku: Journal of Peace and Research,5 The Journal of Philosophy,6 Zygon: Journal of Religion and Science,7 Journal of Conflict Resolution,8 Journal of Islamic Thought9 and Journal ofEcumenical Studies. Ključne teme ovoga istraživanja bile su: religija i izgradnja mira, abrahamske religije i izgradnja mira, pluralizam, tolerancija, praštanje i pomirenje, razrješavanje konflikta.

Fiori, F., and Zhiwei Zhou. "Assessment Study of RELAP5/SCDAP Capability to Reproduce Liquid Metal Fluid Thermal Hydraulic Behaviour." In 2014 22nd International Conference on Nuclear Engineering. American Society of Mechanical Engineers, 2014. http://dx.doi.org/10.1115/icone22-30612.

Full text
Abstract:
The paper presents the assessment of RELAP5/SCDAP code capabilities to simulate the thermal-hydraulic behavior of liquid metal coolants. The preliminary part of the study dealt with a bibliographic review of the heat transfer correlations available for liquid metals, in particular for lead-bismuth eutectic. The most appropriate correlation, according to the thermal-hydraulic condition of the Chinese ADS design has been implemented and tested in the code. The experiment facilities used for the assessment study are the South Korean HELIOS facility, the KYLIN-II facility and the TALL facility. The first one is a T-H loop which is down scaled by a factor of 5000 of the reference PEACER-300 concept reactor, and has been recently used for an international benchmark organized by the OECD/NEA. As the first phase of the benchmark is concluded, the data is available in the open literature. The second facility is constructed and operated in the Institute of Nuclear Safety Energy of the Chinese Academy of Science in Hefei (CAS). The third facility has been constructed and operated at KTH Royal Institute of Technology of Stockholm. The full height facility was designed and operated to investigate the heat transfer performance of different heat exchangers and the thermal-hydraulic characteristics of natural and forced circulation flow under steady and transient conditions. A consistent and systematic approach for the nodalization development and assessment procedures that respond to the IAEA guidelines is discussed and thoroughly applied. The present paper discusses the results of the assessment study of the RELAP5/SCDAP capability when working with liquid metal fluid. The procedures and the database developed constitute the base in our institute for further study in case more experimental data will be available.
