Michel, Monique. "Julien Gracq et l'écriture dramatique : lecture du Roi pêcheur." Nancy 2, 1998. http://www.theses.fr/1998NAN21013.
Full textThis study ponders the conditions of emergence of the play Le Roi pêcheur by Julien Gracq in the theatrical context of the fifties and its place in Julien Gracq's work. After showing the fascination of the author for drama in general - already perceptible in the previous texts, Au Château d'Argol, Un beau ténébreux -, and analysing the scenic adventure of Le Roi pêcheur, our reading develops around fundamental dramatic notions. First, it proposes a reflection on the elaboration of the story through its link with the myth of Grail but also with the most important gracquian "intercesseurs", Wagner, Rimbaud, surrealism, Breton. The study, then, tries, to demonstrate the structures of space and time in Le Roi pêcheur as exhibited in the primary and secondary text. It goes on with an analysis of the dramatic personae and dramatic dialogue trying to show the configuration of the characters, their place in the secondary text, and the main form of the verbal communication (polylogues, dialogues, monological tendencies in the dialogues) lastly, it delineates the spell cast by the seduction of its language, of the myth of the quest and of its impossible closure in order to show how Gracq, after the manner of his fictions, was able to find with Le Roi pêcheur an original voice which is probably easier to listen to today

Full textThe purpose of the research is to study the legal and social status of fishermen in Morocco in order to predict concrete prospects for evolution. This category of workers is subject to as much risk.Faced with these elements, Moroccan fishermen have entered a period of questioning and reflection on their social status. This research makes it possible to establish the observation of this status, from which many problems emerge which negatively affect the exercise of this profession. It follows from this study that the irreducible particularism of work in the maritime fishing sector and the autonomy of maritime labor law are no longer sufficient to establish an incompatibility of principle likely to hinder the application of certain rules of the land labor law.The study revives an old legislative and doctrinal debate on the autonomy of maritime labor law. It then proposes several avenues for reflection and concrete solutions to change the status of fishermen and sailors within the framework of a moderate autonomy. A rapprochement and a conciliation between the maritime labor law and the labor law are necessary, in adequacy with the identified needs

Full textThe literary work is a complex anthropological and cultural reality requiring an anthropological reading which itself is complex. Such a redefinition of the very nature of the knowledge concerning this cultural production modifies the very nature of its transmission. With the anthropological reading of the literary work, and provided one controls and goes beyond the multiple textual approaches suggested by the contemporary critic thanks to a complex approach, the model of which is the one of the cultural anthropology, the high school teacher has at his disposal a method which allows him to define his own knowledge in an epistemological way and the conditions of its transmission to the apprentice-reader represented by his student. In this particular outlook, the reading of the literary work and the training of such a reading become, in turn, anthropological and cultural acts and develop a progressive consciousness of the young reader towards his own culture as well as other cultures. Such consequences or such elements at stake can also be called rationality, hermeneutic view, representation of the world, questions about the meaning, religious dimensions of culture, citizenship, cultural alterity. The aim of the present thesis is not only to theorize about the literary fact and its teaching, but also to suggest , thanks to the experience of teachers and trainers, a pedagogical and educational set-up in the form of segmented and progressive training scheme. Thus, as regards the high school student, the appropriation of the different steps in the anthropological reading of the literary work, and the conscious and autonomous development of his own culture will be facilitated

Full textThe aim of our study on the changes that have marked the development of artisanal fisheries in Gabon from the part of the province of the estuary was intended on the one hand, the support of record showing the organization of the fisheries sector during the colonial period and partly on the basis of surveys conducted in several villages, to understand the changes involved in this activity, which is currently moving from a traditional craft and another part more heterogeneous. This new framework assorted artisanal fisheries now appears first through the presence of fishing communities from various ethnic backgrounds, in which we observed rich interactions of sharing knowledge and know-how; Then, through interactions between fishing communities and the environment of the territories in which they are embedded. We have updated a population growth of players in this industry.Beyond the analysis of the dynamics of changes, we wanted to show a changing relationship between fishermen and their socio-political environment, economic on the one hand, and answer the other hand the problem of the joint between the dynamics of social change in these companies enjoyed riethniques and dynamics of the coastal area they share
Amand, Rudy. "La pêche miraculée : Étude socio-anthropologique des marins pêcheurs du Calvados (France)." Caen, 2010. http://www.theses.fr/2010CAEN1584.
Full textThis dissertation seeks to explore social transformations concerning fishermen and communities who depend on fishing activity. Considered as a “world apart” by a large segment of the population, this sector remains on the fringes of social sciences in spite of the disruptions affecting it. Facing a constant decrease of their total number, confronted to an important ecological crisis but also to a redefinition of the technical working methods, this professional group is seen as passing through deep transformations for the most optimistic observers whereas it is regarded as endangered by the most pessimistic ones. Furthermore, the coming of new populations does not only modify the spatial organization of the port villages, but also the way of living together within the traditional communities. In this context, what is the professionals’ and community members’ state of mind? What kind of resistance do they oppose to these situations? These questions are the most significant illustrations of our approach. The latter will first rely on monographic studies of six local fishing communities from Calvados (France). This empirical basis will then enable us to produce a sociological analysis of this professional group and also an anthropological reflexion on the processes leading humans to interact with nature

Full textThe inshore fishery on the Pays de Retz coast used to be considered as a complementary activity to farming, industry and coastal traffic, practiced by fishermen, workers and farmers. During the fifties, the improvement of fishing customs allowed fishermen to increase their knowledge of the Bourgneuf Bay and the Loire estuary area, as well as the natural tapping conditions of the local fisheries resources. Since the Pays de Retz inhabitants especially appreciated those resources, fishermen could raise their incomes and get specialized in inshore fisheries. So they based their professionalisation on values and representations that led them to consider the diversity of selling and fishing techniques as a means of providing structure, distinction and value to their socio-professional group

Full textThis doctoral thesis is focused on an ethnographic study of small scale fisheries of the etang de thau (french mediterranean coast). It concentrates, on a precice diachronic analysis fishing technology employed, to demonstrate the dynamic analysis fishing technology employed, to demonstrate the dynamic nature of so-called "traditional" fishing methods. This study also analyses the social complexity of the relations the fishermen's families have established with both their physical environment and amongst themselves. Their local knowledge of the subaquatic environment of the lagoon as well as the vernacular toponomy shows the intimate relations the local fishermen have transmitted for generations amongst their group. An historical approach combined with direct ethnographic observation of the contemporary situation also illustrates the importance of the legal dimension of fishing in this region. A lexicon of 478 vernacular terms concerning fishing and the environmental knowledge of the thau lagoon makes up the appendice
David, Éric. "La lutte dans l'oeuvre d'Auguste Dupouy., une énergie créatrice." Thesis, Brest, 2014. http://www.theses.fr/2014BRES0027/document.
Full textAuguste Dupouy was one of the central figures of Brittany’s literature in the first half of the twentieth century. Ris works combine academic writing — biographies and general studies in literature — and more personal writing such as novels. short stories and tourist guide books. in which Brittany is a central element. How do Dupouy’s two distinct literary activities converge? Although Dupouy pictured himself as a conventional character , this writer believes that his work is entirely built on the themes ofstruggle and fight. Whether it be social or territorial disputes or the struggle of passions, urges and desires, Dupouy’s work can only be understood through the clashing of one man’s will against another’s. The present study intends to expose how this motif is interlaced in the text, how it is developped and how it bears the source ofcreative energy.Dupouy’s literary writing reveals and implements a fundamental tension, which finds its expression in struggle. Geographic space is subject to struggle: boundaries are besieged and teiritories are resisting. The men he admired and vhose biographies he chose to write were controversial characters for whose cases he conducted the defence. Tn his fiction, the narrative is based on the desire for domination and the ensuing dramatic consequences. When reading Auguste Dupouy’s workwe immerse ourselves in a bygone world—the days of Bretons in traditional costumes. sailing ships and black bread. Yet the richness ofhis writing confers him a real place in the history ofliterature: reading him gives us some keys to a better understanding of our society and. above alt, as he imparts his complex vision ofman, he partakes in art’s great project fathoming the human soul
