Abstract:
Many flight simulators today are made to provide a realistic environment for training. However, they often lack the possibility of providing pedagogical feedback to the person in training as well as feedback to any instructor leading the training. The purpose of this paper was to evaluate the usefulness of several pedagogical tools embedded in a flight simulator and to examine their potential for increasing training efficiency. Twenty students and instructors from the Swedish Air Force Flying Training School volunteered in this study. Seven embedded pedagogical tools were assessed using questionnaires. There was a quite consistent opinion in favor of the pedagogical tools implying that the embedded pedagogical tools is the way forward in training simulator development. The results from the present study are believed to be equally valid in many other areas besides flight simulators.

Abstract:
The relevance of the study is based on the discrepancy between the need for the project management program-methodical support and insufficient development in pedagogical practice. Aims. The aim of the study is to examine the effective development and implementation of the project method in the HEI from the standpoint of pedagogy as a new type of educational process management. Methods: questionnaire methods and pedagogical observation methods. The following questionnaires were used. E. Torrance’s “Tests of Creative Thinking” method. An “unfinished thesis” method (J. Sachs, S. Levy). Questionnaire for self-evaluation of the teacher’s knowledge and skills during transition to teaching using a new pedagogical technology by N.V. Nemova. Method for teacher’s basic competencies evaluation by L.A. Adambaeva. Statistical calculations were performed using Kendall’s T coefficient and chi-squared test. Results. The number of students with a high level of personality orientation increased only by 5.3%, and those with a high level of creative activity - by 8.7%. We can’t speak about a significant decrease in the number of students who at the end of the experiment had a low level of the aesthetic position formation. Thus, the number of students who showed developed creative thinking in project activities became only 5.3% less than at the beginning of the experiment. Conclusions. A significant increase in the general level of cognitive competence formation in the experimental group in comparison with the control group is explained by purposeful work with students, taking into account special pedagogical conditions. Perspectives. Further study can be carried out towards the development and implementation of a project method to improve the competencies acquisition, taking into account future professional activities.

The article analyzes the views on the process of independent work of an individual. Psychological qualities of a person, such as activity, independence, responsibility, initiative, striving for goals, self-management, self-awareness, are an important factor of self-development. Based on the analysis of these factors, contradictions were identified that provided the dynamics of the individual’s work on himself. On the basis of scientific analysis and research, the content of tasks performed at such stages as self-analysis, independent task, self-development and self-assessment of the self-learning process of teachers is developed. The specific features of pedagogical work are analyzed, such as the bilateral nature, the joint activity of the teacher and the student, the organization of joint activities aimed at achieving a single goal. On the basis of these analyses, the productive use of time, favorable working conditions and opportunities for recreation are indicated as conditions for the scientific organization of pedagogical activity; the principles of the scientific organization of pedagogical work are developed. Abstract:
The purpose of the study was to justify and check experimentally the efficiency in the application of distance learning technologies to ensure future teachers’ readiness to pedagogical work in the process of general professional training. The quasi-experimental research was conducted while delivering the disciplines of “Pedagogics” and “Psychology” included in the cycle of general professional training. The levels of motivational, activity-oriented, and cognitive components of future teachers’ readiness to pedagogical work were measured using the determination methodology for the factors of the profession’s attractiveness developed by Yadov, the questionnaire entitled “The identifier of problematic dominant level in the process of addressing pedagogical tasks”, and the results of the final tests. To analyse the results obtained and to study objectively dynamics of changes in activity orientated, cognitive, and motivational elements, the research has used methods of mathematical data processing and a STATISTICA software for statistical analysis. The research found the efficiency of distance courses implementation with active teaching methods on the development of all components of future teachers’ readiness to pedagogical work. The author concluded that in the context of the general professional training of teachers and adaptation to the peculiarities of distance learning, the most efficient methods are the following: case-study, a problem-oriented lecture, a method of projects, portfolio, and discussion. In the view of the author, distance educational technologies, means of virtual visualisation and interactive content help broaden the didactical potential of active methods of pedagogical interaction and diversify delivery of the training material.

the article deals with the management activities of the head of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation. The main professionally important qualities of the head influencing his professional activity are highlighted. An ideal model of the pedagogically cultural personality of the head of the internal affairs body of the Russian Federation is proposed, which is a set of those properties that must be formed by the head. This model consists of a number of subsystems that are the main dialectically interconnected and interdependent structural elements; pedagogical skills, active life position, knowledge and understanding of pedagogical phenomena, pedagogical conviction. The article discusses the views of a number of scientists regarding the pedagogical culture of the leader. The pedagogical culture is considered as an integral element of the set of professionally important qualities of the head of the internal affairs body of the Russian Federation. Abstract:
We consider the concept of educational design as a tool that allows students to control communication. The second main task is the selection of a diagnostic tool that allows to evaluate the pedagogical efficiency of this control. We suggest that educational design should be based on reasonable technological solutions (i. e. on formalized, reproducible methods of activity), as well as allow the management of non-pedagogical (or partially pedagogical) objects and phenomena. One of these phenomena is the concept of communication. We present the substantiation of the criteria of the nature of teaching and the role of younger students in communication relations, which correspond to the peculiarities of educational design – first of all, adaptability and complexity. We describe the diagnostics of younger students’ communication complex and give information about its approbation. We present the analysis of the experimental data, including the analysis of the relationship of communicative skills components of younger students, which are specific for educational design.

The management of positive collective construction at high schools in Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City has developed relatively well, contributing to improving the quality of education and meeting increasing requirements of society. Pedagogical collectives are stable in number and structure, have a sense of discipline, have a healthy psychological atmosphere, have a sense of self-study to improve their qualifications, well obey the legislations. . However, the management of pedagogical collective development to become an active pedagogic group is not an easy task, requiring a lot of time and effort. Because some individuals in the pedagogical collectives are still not active, the internal conflicts continue to exist. The set of core values and values of the collective have not had a strong impact on the awareness and behaviors of all people.
