Full textOur research tries to carry a critical glance on a rather abundant literature as regards loyalty. It proposes as objective to widen this prospect thanks to integration of concepts and the bringing together of theories and approaches which are generally treated separately. This thesis seeks to show that in order to consider loyalty in the context of a consumption of experiential nature, it is necessary to change the framework of analysis. The objective is to go beyond the vision reducing consumption to an instantaneous act towards a more global solution presenting consumption as an experiment lived by the consumer before, during and after the physical act of consumption. We try to study up to what point the perception of quality (particularly the service quality) allows to explain the force of the relation binding a consumer to his service supplier. Our approach of perceived quality tries to lay the stress on the complementarity of the cognitivist and experiential paradigms. It is a question of studying and checking the validity of a complex network of theoretical relations thus breaking with the behavioural approaches largely developed in marketing. Then, we try, through an empirical study, to test the validity of the relations highlighted in the literature within the framework of an experiment of consumption of a hotel service

Full textBrand image is a greatly used notion in common language and in marketing. But, in spite of brand image definitions that were brought by different authors, this concept is relatively vague. In first, the objective is to clarify the concept in particular in relation to neighbouring concepts and to analyse his place in consumer behaviour. Then, this research attempts to modelize brand image perception by consumer in automotive domain. At last, a typology of consumers is realised according to automotive brand image perception

Full textThe present study aims at showing that situational factors can contribute to a better understanding of the perceived assortment variety. While perceived variety is one of the most important choice criteria of a superstore, it has not received much emphasis. Although most of the few studies in that field use the variety-seeking model and deal with the strict sense of the word “variety”, our research applies the heuristic-systematic model (Chaiken, 1980) to show that evaluation process may alternatively depend on : variety, size or both. A study of the perception process in wine department of a superstore emphasizes the role of context and situational factors on perception, regardless of assortment structure

Full textThe purpose of this study consists in apprehending conditions of appearance and the function of a coherent and accurate spatial representation of the city. This research leans on the experimental method applied on place, and focuses on a molar unit of analysis, namely the man/environment system. The two entities of this system being culturally marked, we have operate experimental variation on cultural distance inside the system by comparing southern European students and sub-Saharian Africa students, preserving Paris, a city imbues of European culture, as the unique place of study. It's therefore in terms of familiarity, and particularly in terms of socio-spatial familiarity, that the results are interpreted. It proves that urban area has no meaning in itself. So the storage of socially elaborated meanings appears important for an accurate cognitive map of the city. Thus, differences observed, up to now, in cross-cultural comparaison of cognitive map can also come from the legibility of socio-spatial characteristics of the city. Besides, urban pratices favor storage and diversity of meanings. Nevertheless, their impact on accuracy of cognitive map reminds limited. Then spatial information has an instrumental function permitting to resolve daily problems of spatial order. But it also have a psychological function enable to increase the feeling of coherence by adjusting represented space with real space. Otherwise, the spatial information is not only a tool for activities, its contributes to the elaboration of a life-place. However, this psychological function is possible only if the spatial information fills previously an instrumental function, as Kaplan explains in his model of person/environment compatibility

Full textThe aim of my PhD was to study the perception of two musical dimensions : pitch (i. E. , harmonic relation between tones) and time (i. E. , rhythm and meter). Numerous research has been interested in the perception of pitch and time separately but only few have focused on their joint processing. The independence or interaction of pitch and time processing as well as their underlying neuronal networks involved have been studied in my PhD. In a first part, using a behavioral approach of cognitive psychology in healthy listeners, three experiments studied influence of the level of processing and the material used on the processing of pitch and time dimensions. The findings suggest that the independent or interactive processing of pitch and time depends on the level of processing: in the first levels, the two dimensions seem to be processed independently but interact at later levels of processing in integration. In a second part, using a neuropsychological approach, we analyzed neural networks implicated in the processing of pitch and time. Cerebellar patients showed to be impaired in the perception of the time dimension but not for the pitch dimension. A study, with healthy listeners, concluded that the pitch dimension would be rather processed by the right hemisphere whereas no hemispheric advantage was observed for the time dimension. The findings of the studies are discussed in a neuropsychological model to explain the different stages of the processing of pitch and time

Full textThe teenagers approached in this study are placed in a Social Youth Center. To extricate the adolescent from any negative representations he may feel or of which he is the object in this particular context, due both to this affectation and of a Weak parental authority, we apprehend him neither through experienced failures nor those reminded to him, but through his own personal resources. To achieve this, we invite him towards a progression through pictorial creation and the encounter of the art world, followed by a personal production of wide dimensions and its public exhibition. Photographies of works taken at each step of their realization, enables to follow and assess the process of their making and the progression of their creator. This study is completed by a focus towards understanding the personality of each youth through series of expression tests (Rey’s Figure, AT9 and Rorschach). The search for discernment and aesthetic judgment brings the adolescent to a necessary adjustment between his own individual world and other artistic sensibilities. From this confrontation emerge images which might stimulate and widen his capacity of expression and representation of experienced time, at the same time that they participate in a process of personal evolution

Full textThis thesis deals with structural changes occurring in public companies that need to restructure their organisation in order to cope with European regulations. The issue of our study examines career management in public companies obliged to restructure. The topic of our research refers to career opportunities as perceived by the employees of such organisation in order to specify how career management has evolved further to the opening of some public markets. This work is composed of three parts. The first one consists of an overview of the literature, the second one deals with research methodology, and the last one highlights the results of this study. This qualitative research is based on two case studies (France Telecom and SNCB), carried out in two different countries (France and Belgium). The results, obtained thanks to three different analyses (thematic, textual and cognitive), underline that restructuring public companies leave slowly behind them the objective model of career management to reach a more individualizing model. The changes are mainly conducted in the "cadres” population and start slowly in the "non cadres” population. Moreover, the access to the "cadres” status is not possible depending on the structure in which they evolve. The employees see changes in their work conditions. Their career is now depending on the following criteria: length of service, willingness of the employee, the hierarchical superior's judgment and the internal promotions opportunities
