Abstract:
ABSTRACT An operational problem involving the loading arms occurred at São Sebastião Oil Terminal of PETROBRAS, located in the Brazilian Southeastern coast, during the oil transference from the tanker to the Terminal, resulting in the spill of approximately 26.0 m3 of crude Marlin-33 oil on 3 June 2003. The spilled bulk oil was transported by wind-driven currents to the north of São Sebastião Channel where skimmer vessels and booms collected the product. In spite of all contingency actions, some of the oil reached a coastal lagoon. The Environmental Monitoring Program, involving sampling a week and four months after the event, included chemical analysis for benzene, toluene, ethybenzene and xylenes (BTEX), petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH), aliphatic compounds (n-alkanes), polycyclic aromatic compounds (PAH), unresolved complex mixtures (UCM) and total organic carbon (TOC); toxicological tests for water using the Microtox system and Lytechinus variegatus embryo test, and for sediment using the Nitokra copepod test; and hydrocarbon detection in mussel tissue, related to local aquaculture. The coastal water PAH concentrations after the spill ranged from 0.14 to 1.92 μg/L in chrysene equivalents. For the lagoon water analysis, the concentrations of PAHs ranged from 1.54 to 9.66 μg/L. The total PAH concentrations in lagoon sediment ranged from 5.6 to 359.2 ng/g with perilene prevalence. The total PAH concentrations in mussel tissue samples ranged below the detection limit to 110.0 ng/g; the aliphatic hydrocarbon concentrations varied between 11.02 to 21.36 μg/g and total n-alkanes between 4.80 to 6.21 μg/g, showing no influence of petroleum hydrocarbons. The toxicity results were not conclusive: by means of acute tests, no toxicity was observed in the lagoon water. However, the chronic tests indicated toxicity in some samples including in the controls located in non-affected places.

According to the law of energy conservation and the second law of Kepler, this paper obtains the spacecraft velocity in perilune and apolune. Based on trajectory inversion thought, this paper obtains position and velocity direction in the perilune and apolune. For the five sub stages of soft landing, this paper discusses the optimal control strategy: establishing optimization model of genetic algorithm for the main deceleration section, the terminal constraint condition is reflected on the fitness function through the penalty function, combined with linear iterative thought, the winner engine thrust and direction angle are obtained. Aiming at the rapid adjustment period, the spacecraft angle change is done equivalent decomposition and discrete linear, so the thrust can be obtained through the angle change provided by adjusting attitude engine and combined with rigid body motion law.

Abstract:
Perillae has attracted an increasing interest of study due to its wide usage for medicine and food. Estimating quality and maturity of a perillae requires the information with respect to its size. At present, measuring and sorting the size of perillae mainly depend on manual work, which is limited by low efficiency and unsatisfied accuracy. To address this issue, in this study, we develop an approach based on the machine vision (MV) technique for online measuring and size sorting. The geometrical model and the corresponding mathematical model are built for perillae and imaging, respectively. Based on the built models, the measuring and size sorting method is proposed, including image binarization, key point determination, information matching, and parameter estimation. Experimental results demonstrate that the average time consumption for a captured image, the average measuring error, the variance of measuring error, and the overall sorting accuracy are 204.175 ms, 1.48 mm, 0.07 mm, and 93%, respectively, implying the feasibility and satisfied accuracy of the proposed approach.

Abstract:
Perillae Herba (a leaf ofPerilla frutescens) has been prescribed as one of the component herbs in certain Kampo (Japanese herbal) medicines that are used clinically for the improvement of depressive mood.l-Perillaldehyde (PAH) is a major component in the essential oil containing in Perillae Herba, but its antidepressant-like effect has not been reported. To clarify the antidepressant-like effect of PAH, the inhaled effect of PAH on stress-induced depression-like model mice prepared by subjection to a combination of forced swimming and chronic mild stresses was investigated. The degree of the depression-like state was measured by the animal's duration of immobility using a forced swimming test. Inhalation of PAH (0.0965 and 0.965 mg/mouse/day, 9 days) significantly shortened the duration of immobility of the depression-like model mice and did not affect locomotor activity. However, another odor substance, cinnamaldehyde containing in Cinnamomi Cortex, exhibited no reduction in the immobility. The reduction in the immobility induced by the inhalation of PAH was prevented on anosmia-induced mice prepared by intranasal irrigation with zinc sulfate. These results suggest that the inhalation of PAH shows antidepressant-like activity through the olfactory nervous function.

Abstract:
Perillae fructus(perilla seed) is a traditional medicinal herb used to treat bronchial asthma in Oriental medical clinics. ST36 is one of the most widely used acupuncture points, particularly for immune system regulation. Injection of an herbal extract into an acupuncture point (herbal acupuncture) is a therapeutic technique combining both acupuncture and herbal treatment.Perillae fructusextract was injected subcutaneously (Perillae fructusherbal acupuncture; PF-HA) at acupoint ST36 of OVA-induced asthmatic mice. The lung weight, bronchoalveolar fluid (BALF) cell count, the number of CCR3+, CD11b+, CD4+ and CD3e+/CD69+ cells in the lung, and the level of IgE, IL-4, IL-5 and IL-13 in BALF and serum were then measured. RT-PCR was used to measure the mRNA expression of IL-4, IL-5, IL-13 and TNF-α in the lung. Lung sections were analyzed histologically. PF-HA significantly reduced lung weight, the number of inflammatory cells in the lung and BALF, the levels of IgE and Th2 cytokines in BALF and serum, mRNA expression of Th2 cytokines in the lung, and pathological changes in lung tissue. Our results suggest that PF-HA may have an anti-inflammatory and immune-regulatory effect on bronchial allergic asthma by restoring the Th1/Th2 imbalance in the immune system and suppressing eosinophilic inflammation in airways.

Abstract:
Volatiles from huanglongbing (HLB) symptomatic and asymptomatic cold pressed orange oils from Florida Hamlin and Valencia fruit were assessed. Qualitative gas-liquid chromatography studies showed the presence of several compounds (β-longifolene, perillene, and 4-decenal) which are not commonly identified in Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck oils. Oils derived from huanglongbing symptomatic fruit had lower concentrations of linalool, decanal, citronellol, neral, geranial, carvone, dodecanal, and 2-decenal and higher concentrations of citronellal compared to asymptomatic fruit. A comparison to historic literature of orange oil investigations before HLB was of issue in Florida orange crops showed lower levels of linalool, decanal, neral, and geranial in Hamlin peel oil samples, as well as higher levels of dodecanal. Valencia peel oil samples showed lower concentrations of linalool and increased concentration of citronellol and dodecanal. As a result of huanglongbing (HLB) phenomena, the concentrations of several important volatiles found in Hamlin and Valencia peel oil profiles have changed compared to historic values. Differences in volatile concentrations of symptomatic and asymptomatic HLB affected peel oil compounds in orange fruit are identified.

Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to verify the feasibility of lunar capture braking through three methods based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) and compare the advantages and disadvantages of the three strategies by analyzing the results of the simulation. Design/methodology/approach The paper proposes three methods to verify capture braking based on PSO. The constraints of the method are the final lunar orbit eccentricity and the height of the final orbit around the Moon. At the same time, fuel consumption is used as a performance indicator. Then, the PSO algorithm is used to optimize the track of the capture process and simulate the entire capture braking process. Findings The three proposed braking strategies under the framework of PSO algorithm are very effective for solving the problem of lunar capture braking. The simulation results show that the orbit in the opposite direction of the trajectory has the most serious attenuation at perilune, and it should consume the least amount of fuel in theoretical analysis. The methods based on the fixed thrust direction braking and thrust uniform rotation braking can better ensure the final perilune control accuracy and fuel consumption. As for practice, the fixed thrust direction braking method is better realized among the three strategies. Research limitations/implications The process of lunar capture is a complicated process, involving effective coordination between multiple subsystems. In this article, the main focus is on the correctness of the algorithm, and a simplified dynamic model is adopted. At the same time, because the capture time is short, the lunar curvature can be omitted. Furthermore, to better compare the pros and cons of different braking modes, some influence factors and perturbative forces are not considered, such as the Earth’s flatness, light pressure and system noise and errors. Practical implications This paper presents three braking strategies that can satisfy all the constraints well and optimize the fuel consumption to make the lunar capture more effective. The results of comparative analysis demonstrate that the three strategies have their own superiority, and the fixed thrust direction braking is beneficial to engineering realization and has certain engineering practicability, which can also provide reference for lunar exploration orbit design. Originality/value The proposed capture braking strategies based on PSO enable effective capture of the lunar module. During the lunar exploration, the capture braking phase determines whether the mission will be successful or not, and it is essential to control fuel consumption on the premise of accuracy. The three methods in this paper can be used to provide a study reference for the optimization of lunar capture braking.

Abstract:
A Gram-stain-positive, rod-shaped actinobacterium, designated strain I10A-01402T, was isolated from surface-sterilized roots of a medicinal plant, Perilla frutescens, collected in a suburb of Beijing, China. Chemotaxonomically, the strain contained ll-diaminopimelic acid as the diagnostic diamino acid and MK-8(H4) as the predominant menaquinone. The phospholipids were diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylglycerol and phosphatidylinositol. The major fatty acids were C17 : 1ω9c, C18 : 1ω9c, C17 : 0, C16 : 0 and iso-C16 : 0. The genomic DNA G+C content was 70.4 mol%. 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis indicated that strain I10A-01402T belonged to the genus Nocardioides . Phylogenetic analyses based on 16S rRNA gene sequences showed that the isolate formed a robust cluster with Nocardioides ginsengisegetis Gsoil 485T, N. koreensis MSL-09T and N. alkalitolerans KSL-1T. On the basis of the evidence from our polyphasic taxonomic study, a novel species, Nocardioides perillae sp. nov., is proposed. The type strain is I10A-01402T ( = CPCC 203382T = DSM 24552T = KCTC 29022T).

Abstract:
Hop aroma characteristics originate from hop essential oils, which have complex chemical profiles that remain poorly understood, particularly for New Zealand hops. The aim of this study was to determine volatile compounds that distinguish New Zealand hop cultivars. Untargeted fingerprinting methods based on headspace gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MS) were used to analyse nine hop cultivars. A total of 61 volatile compounds were identified as compounds that differentiated the commercial hop varieties using advanced chemometrics and feature selection techniques. Similarities in volatile composition were found between Wakatu, Wai-iti™ and Kohatu®, which are rich in alcohols. Another grouping was found between Waimea™ and Nelson Sauvin™, where ketones and esters were commonly found. Rakau™ was distinct from the other eight cultivars, distinguished by 2-methylbutyl 3-methylbutanoate and methanethiol hexanoate. Riwaka™ contained the greatest number of discriminating volatile compounds when compared to other cultivars, which was dominated by terpenoids, such as geranyl 2-methylbutanoate, perillene and D-limonene. The chemical fingerprinting approach successfully identified volatile compounds that had not been previously found in New Zealand hop cultivars and that discriminated the commercial cultivars. The data obtained in the present study further extend the knowledge of New Zealand hops and will help facilitate targeted breeding.

Abstract:
A trial was conducted to investigate the germination percentage and emergence potential of nine imported temperate forage germplasms at the National Animal Production Research Institute, Shika, Nigeria. The seeds consisted of seven grasses namely; Beefsteak plant (Fructus perillae), Sweet elephant grass (Pennisetum alopecuroides), Wild foxtail millet (Setaria viridis), Napier grass (Pennisetum purpureum), King grass (Pennisetum sinese), Chinese sorghum (Sweet sorghum) and Zea mexican schard (Purus frumentum) and two legumes namely; Chinese woad (Isatis tinctoria) and Chinese alfalfa (Medicago sativa). A laboratory germination test and pot emergence trial was carried out to ascertain their viability. The result of the experiment showed that Sweet elephant grass, napier grass and king grass recorded over 90 % germination and the least was 30 % in Chinese sorghum. Chinese alfalfa and wild foxtail millet had least germination percentage with 100 % Seed dormancy.Highest emergence rate, seedling length and seedling vigour indexwere observed in king grass than the other forage germplasms. The highest percentage emergence was obtained in king grass > sweet elephant grass > napier grass > Zea mexican schard > beefsteak plant > Chinese woad > Chinese sorghum, respectively. It was concluded that these forages can successfully be adopted as animal feed resources in Nigeria and therefore, recommended formulti-locational trials in all the ecological zones of the country.

Abstract:
Lunar exploration architecture can be made more flexible and reliable with the support of a low-Earth orbit (LEO) space station. This study therefore evaluated a proposed hybrid optimization scheme to design the entire trajectory of a reusable spacecraft starting from trans-Earth injection (EI) at the perilune and ending at an LEO space station. As such a trajectory has multiple constraints and multiple dynamical models, it is divided into the trans-Earth phase, aerocapture phase, and postatmospheric phase. The optimization scheme is performed at two levels: sublevel and top level. At the sublevel, two novel pseudo rules are proposed to optimize the trans-Earth trajectory so that it satisfies the coplanar constraints of the space station. Then, in the aerocapture phase, the bank angle is optimized to satisfy the mission constraints, and in the atmospheric phase, the one-impulsive maneuver is performed and optimized to insert the spacecraft into the target space station orbit. The multiple phases are connected to each other by boundary conditions where the terminal state of the previous phase is transformed into the initial state of the following phase. At the top level, the vacuum perigee height is selected as the mission design variable based on problem characteristics analysis and a hybrid optimization scheme is conducted to minimize the total velocity increment. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed hybrid optimization method is effective for the design of an entire trajectory with acceptable velocity cost which is less than that in the previous study. The coplanar constraints of the space station and other mission constraints in each phase are also satisfied. Furthermore, the proposed trajectory design method is shown to be applicable to a reusable spacecraft returning to an LEO space station parked in any arbitrary orbital plane.

The government has also set a target of 20 million foreign tourists visit and 275 local tourist movement In 2019. Entering the era of globalization the movement of people from one country and region more quickly because the distance is getting closer, so it supports the growth of tourism . These conditions have a positive impact on the economy and science and technology, but social change is very vulnerable to the Impact on the weakening of the resilience of culture in society. For that how to increase the resilience of culture by minimizing the negative effects of tourism development in the era of globalization in Papua is very important. Trend rating is currently more concerned about the quality of experience and a tendency to look for something unique and authentic and can not be found in the region or country. To meet market demand trends and this can be done by presenting archaeological resources in Papua as a tourist attraction. Optimizing the archaeological resources in Papua as a tourist attraction that can be empowered to improve the resilience of culture in addition to providing economic benefits is the goal of this research. The study was conducted with the literature study and survey and using descriptive analysis techniques - qualitative. From the results of analysis show that Papua has the potential archaeological resources can still be presented authenticity and contextualization. Abstract:
Abstract Cirrhosis of the liver is often accompanied by refractory ascites, a condition characterized by fluid buildup in the peritoneal cavity that does not respond to diuretics or recurs shortly after therapeutic paracentesis. There are several management strategies in practice including large-volume paracentesis, transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunts, peritoneovenous shunting, and liver transplant. However, each of these options come with limitations such as high cost, poor efficacy, and increased risk of complications. This article explores a new management strategy with a novel biopowered shunt, the PeriLeve device, that moves fluid from the peritoneal cavity to the urinary bladder using natural changes in intra-abdominal pressure (IAP). By doing so, PeriLeve shifts the current paradigm of care from the hospital to the home which reduces costs to healthcare providers and patients while improving quality of life. The basic design of the pump consists of two check (i.e., one-way) valves on either side of a fluid filled cavity which is separated from an air cavity by an elastomeric membrane. This article presents benchtop testing results of a prototype PeriLeve pump. The performance of the pump was analyzed along six parameters: change in intra-abdominal pressure, valve opening pressure, membrane thickness, membrane stiffness, membrane surface area, and air cavity volume. Initial results indicate that, with future optimizations, the pump can ultimately move a clinically significant volume of fluid.
