Copper is expected to have many applications due to its virus inactivation properties, but it has been difficult to produce a thin layer with high bonding strength. A multi-beam blue diode laser installed laser metal deposition (B-LMD) system was newly developed with a laser intensity of 4.7 × 105 W/cm2, which is improved about five times higher than that of conventional systems. Using this system, we demonstrated the high-speed formation of a pure copper layer on a stainless steel type 304 (SS304) circular tube. Peristaltic motion of two immiscible viscous incompressible fluids in a circular tube is studied in pumping and copumping ranges under long-wavelength and low-Reynoldsnumber assumptions. The effect of the peripheral-layer viscosity on the time-averaged flux and the mechanical efficiency is studied. The formation and growth of the trapping zone in the core and the peripheral layer are explained. It is observed that the bolus volume in the peripheral layer increases with an increase in the viscosity ratio. The limits of the time-averaged flux $\bar{Q}$ for trapping in the core are obtained. Abstract:
The shoot apical meristem establishes plant architecture by continuously producing new lateral organs such as leaves, axillary meristems and flowers throughout the plant life cycle. This unique capacity is achieved by a group of self-renewing pluripotent stem cells that give rise to founder cells, which can differentiate into multiple cell and tissue types in response to environmental and developmental cues. Cell fate specification at the shoot apical meristem is programmed primarily by transcription factors acting in a complex gene regulatory network. In this project we proposed to provide si
