Abstract:
Habaek koreanus gen. n., sp. n., a remarkable new Perlodinae is described from adults of both sexes, collected by Malaise traps in South Korea. On the basis of male characters, it is assigned to the tribe Perlodini, but its tribal classification needs to be clarified by characters of the larva and matured eggs. Affinities of the new genus are discussed, and a key is presented for the males of the Perlodini genera.

Abstract:
Study of the type specimens of both nominal species included in the poorly known Perlodinae genus Protarcys Klapálek, 1912 proved them congeneric with the four known species of Neofilchneria Zwick, 1973. Consequently, Protarcys is the senior synonym of Neofilchneria, and belongs to Arcynopterygini instead of Perlodini. Four new combinations are stated: Protarcys cheni (Zhang, Li & Li, 2024), P. erberi (Zwick, 1980) (in: Zwick & Sivec 1980), P. uncata (Kimmins, 1947), P. wanglanga (Chen, 2019). The two original species, P. caudata Klapálek, 1912 and P. lutescens Klapálek, 1912 are redes

Perlodinella Klapálek, 1912 is a small stonefly genus in the Palearctic areas of China and its biodiversity is underestimated. This paper reports a new species of Perlodinella, Perlodinella shennongjia sp. nov. in the Dajiuhu National Wetland Park of Shennongjia Forestry District, Hubei Province, central China. The description and illustrations of the new species are provided, based on male adults, female adults and eggs. The new species can be distinguished from its congeners by the characters of male and female genitalia and the egg structure.

A new brachypterous species of the perlodid genus Filchneria Klapálek 1908, F. wusuensis sp. nov. is described and illustrated from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of northwestern China. An additional unidentified specimen, Filchneria sp. is recorded from Heilongjiang Province of northeastern China. Two other perlodid genera, Arcynopteryx Klapálek, 1904 and Pictetiella Illies, 1966 are newly reported from China. The macropterous form of A. polaris Klapálek, 1912 and P. asiatica Zwick & Levanidova, 1971 are reported from Jilin Province of northeastern China for the first time. Finally, an

<em>Abstract.</em>—The relationship between added soluble nutrient concentration and the abundance and taxonomic composition of stream insects was determined in an experiment using streamside troughs. Target phosphorus (P) concentrations were 0, 0.5, 2.5, 5, 10, and 50 µg/L at a N:P ratio of 1:1 (wt.:wt.). All treatments were replicated three times except 50 µg/ L, which was unreplicated. Peak algal biomass (PB) increased with nutrient concentration linearly to 7.4 mg/m2 at 2.5 mg P/L and reached an asymptote at 9.2 mg/m2 (2.7× the controls) at 10 µg P/L. Adu
