We propose link structures for NoC that have properties for tolerating efficiently transient, intermittent, and permanent errors. This is a necessary step to be taken in order to implement reliable systems in future nanoscale technologies. The protection against transient errors is realized using Hamming coding and interleaving for error detection and retransmission as the recovery method. We introduce two approaches for tackling the intermittent and permanent errors. In the first approach, spare wires are introduced together with reconfiguration circuitry. Efficient diagnostic functions (executable assertions in software) are used to detect and isolate errors. Abstract This paper discusses the utilization of a specifically designed magnetic media defect plotting utility. This utility provides the analyst with the ability to view the physical locations of data errors on the disk drive and identify damage to magnetic media. With the failure signature understood, the analyst can now go on to isolate the underlying failure mechanism, without electrical analysis. Further, with the failure mechanism identified critical feedback can be provided to appropriate engineering areas so that the cause of failure can be limited at its source.

Abstract:
Tax amnesties have taken centre stage as a compliance tool in recent years. The OECD estimates that since 2009 tax amnesties in 40 jurisdictions have resulted in the collection of an additional €102 billion in tax revenue. A number of African countries have introduced tax amnesties in the last decade, including Nigeria, Namibia, South Africa and Tanzania. Despite their global popularity, the efficacy of tax amnesties as a tax compliance tool remains in doubt. The revenue is often below expectations, and it probably could have been raised through effective use of regular enforcement measures. I
