In this paper, the Gaussian Padovan and Gaussian Perrin numbers are defined. Then Binet formula and generating functions of these numbers are given. Also, some summation identities for Gaussian Padovan and Gaussian Perrin numbers are obtained by using the recurrence relation satisfied by them. Then two relations are given between Gaussian Padovan and Gaussian Perrin numbers.

Padovan numbers and Perrin numbers belong to the family of numbers of the Fibonacci type and they are well described in the literature. In this paper, by studying independent (1,2)-dominating sets in paths and cycles, we obtain new binomial formulas for Padovan and Perrin numbers. As a consequence of graph interpretation, we propose a new dependence between Padovan and Perrin numbers. By studying special independent (1,2)-dominating sets in a composition of two graphs, we define Padovan polynomials of graphs. This study focuses on exploring a combinatorial interpretation for the Perrin sequence, with the goal of making a meaningful contribution to the field of Mathematics education. In view of studies focused on the History of Mathematics containing the teaching of recurring numerical sequences present in textbooks, there is an interest in carrying out a combinatorial approach for a sequence regarded as akin to the Fibonacci numbers, which is the Perrin sequence. In this way, we have the definition of Perrin’s bracelets, investigating Perrin’s combinatorial model. Finally, combinatorial interpretat

Of these two polar views, each has had forceful proponents and each can be traced to a compelling starting point. The paper focuses on three topics related to the monitoring of snow cover in the Czech Republic: automatic snow stations, evaluation of water reserves in snow and changes and evolution of snow cover in the Czech Republic from 1961 to 2100. Automatic snow station is a measuring mechanism, which can measure and record the snow water equivalent (SWE) and the total snow depth (SD) in real time. Nowadays there is a network of 17 complete stations (SWE and SD) and 50 snow depth automatic stations and a plan to build 23 more by 2025. Data from snow pillows are an important input for every week evalua

The release of a greater amount of natural organic matter (NOM) within climate change is registered in many catchments with peatbog areas. The aim of our research is to study the dynamics of releasing dissolved organic carbon (DOC) into surface water in headwater areas with peatbogs. DOC concentrations are analysed in relation to extreme rainfall-runoff (R-R) events and according to the hydrological preconditions of the basin. These preconditions are described using selected hydroclimatic variables (14 days before the R-R event). The source data comes from stations of the Faculty of Science, C

This dataset includes the demographics, education, perceptions, and assessment of de-escalation skills of law enforcement officers, and other professionals, which were collected as a part of in-person de-escalation training. Many of these trainings were funded as a part of the Office of Community-Oriented Policing Services (U.S. Department of Justice). All of the data is anonymous, and can be linked based on the trainee generated identification number. This data was collected across three separate activities. The first was a pre-training survey that included questions about the trainees' demog

This paper presents an analysis of recent developments in the accessibility of banking services in Spain, from the perspective of both supply (the in-person access points available) and demand (customer use and assessment). According to the results obtained, the following main conclusions can be drawn: i) The reduction in the number of bank branches between 2021 and 2022 was offset by the establishment of mobile branches in smaller municipalities and financial agents in larger municipalities. ii) Between 2021 and 2022, the number of municipalities without any in-person points of access to bank

Abstract:
In 2019, police across Dallas County asked the District Attorney to prosecute fewer marijuana cases than the year before. This report examines whether the racial disparity in those cases improved at the same time. Fewer, Not Fairer shows that while the number of referrals declined, police were still more likely to refer a Black person for marijuana prosecution than a non-Black person. However, some cities achieved more fairness when their police departments almost entirely stopped requesting marijuana prosecutions altogether.
