Abstract In recent Persian literature, there has been increasing use of the orthographic reproduction of spoken language, used mainly for the expression of dialogues, while the narrative part continues in formal Persian. An experiment using spoken Persian as the language of the entire narrative, undertaken by Ṣādeq Čubak in the novel Sang-e ṣabur of 1966, seems long to have had no follow-up, and in the short story genre in particular, the use of spoken Persian in orthographic form seems to have persisted solely in dialogue.

As the mobile wallet is adopted, a mobile payment scheme emerges, with its users as elements in a network of transfers. In this article, I study the mobile payment scheme of Movii— the first fintech firm in Colombia operating under a financial non-banking license for electronic deposits and payments. Based on a unique dataset of bilateral transfers between Movii’s mobile wallet users, I build, visualize and analyze Movii’s networ

Abstract:
“Environmental justice is not just about the environment-it about people. It’s about dignity. It’s about equity.” The damage we do to the planet does not land evenly. Dark smoke hangs over busy, low-income neighbourhoods, while coastlines that poor island families call home slowly slip below wave after wave. Too often, those who did the least to cause the problem feel the blow first and hardest. That imbalance sits at the heart of environmental justice. It says that caring for nature and caring for people must walk hand in hand. When a new mine opens, a highway stretches through a community, o
