Abstract:
The article regards a descriptive analysis of attributes contributing to the originality of Tom Stoppard’s literary pieces. The paper regards such typical features as intertextuality crucial for the structure and the plot, chronological and spacial characteristics, a variety of topics tackled and stylistic devices employed (allusions, paradox, ellipses, etc.). T. Stoppard’s plays were described as representations of both postmodernism and the personal style comprising philosophical and axiological views of the dramatist as a cultural and language personality.

An analysed structural detail, modelled with the use of shell finite elements, is mounted to a spatial truss member system. Then, on the basis of prepared computational model, a static or dynamic analysis is carried out. The proposed model allows to detect the local effects in a theoretical. Conducted analyses confirmed the correct operation of such a computational model. Hence, the method of mode

The increase in online social network (OSN) usage has led to personal details known as attributes being readily displayed in OSN profiles. This can lead to the profile owners being vulnerable to privacy and social engineering attacks which include identity theft, stalking and re identification by linking. Due to a need to address privacy in OSNs, this thesis presents a framework to quantify the vulnerability of a user's OSN profile. Vulnerability is defined as the likelihood that the personal details displayed on an OSN profile will spread due to the actions of the profile owner and their frie

The model is shown to have the flexibility to apply to very different operational environments, within the context of mechanised metalliferous mines. It provides an essential component for carrying out quantitative geotechnical risk analyses of underground mines. Handheld devices have a limited amount of screen real estate. If a handheld device could take advantage of larger screens, it would create a more powerful user interface and environment. As time progresses, Moore's law predicts that the computational power of handheld devices will increase dramatically in the future, promoting the interaction with a larger screen. Users can then use their peripheral vision to recognize spatial relationships between objects and solve problems more easily with this integrated system. AbstractFrom the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in Wuhan, China, in January 2020, to the reopening of China in early 2023, personal interactions between China and the United States virtually ground to a halt over the three-year period (Sliver et al. 2021). This was unlike anything we had seen in the past five decades of Sino-U.S. relations since President Nixon’s visit to China in 1972. The lack of in-person contact made it easy for politicians, academics, and media experts to overlook finer details when assessing and discussing each other.
